I probably would have given 5 stars if they had working fridges instead of a cooler. The bar in the room was loaded. The bar has sensors so if you pick something up to see what it is, put it back. Other than, that the ambiance is nice and the hotel is very up to date. The walk in shower is nice. The gym and pool area were also nice.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! I hope that these reviews follow to Le Meridien since that's who I booked this with and it's the same hotel! Horrible customer service and for a SPG hotel I expected a lot better!!! They screwed up the reservation. I had reserved a room online and didn't realize my credit card was expired. I received a confirmation number and everything was fine. A few days later I happen to check my email and the very first email states that my reservation was canceled. No phone call to try to reach me for a new CC number!? No attempt at trying to get this resolved. They simply canceled it! Of course when I called they couldn't do anything because now the hotel was booked up!!!??? Even if it wasn't I could no longer get the rate that I had previously received online. Corporate Customer service was of no help either!!! I booked at a very nice boutique hotel "The Saint" and I believe this is actually a much nicer hotel anyway! So honestly I can't really be too mad since I actually found this hotel instead.

The hotel is very nice - aesthetically, it is pleasant. We stayed in room 625 of this hotel the night of 4/28/18. Our room upon check-in was hot. The AC was on but barely blowing. We lowered the temp and went to dinner. Upon return - it was still hot. Called desk and they sent someone. He worked for a bit and said he adjusted something. They called from the desk to check if someone had gone to our room to look into it.
Spent the night in an unbelievable hot room for $500 - woke up and it was even hotter. Couldn t wait to get out of this hotel! They said sorry at the front desk. You have no idea how sorry I am! I would not recommend this hotel based solely on the comfort factor. It was anything but. Scratching Le Meridian New Orleans off our hotel stay list.

SHADY AND DISHONEST.

SHADY AND DISHONEST.

I placed a "special event" reservation knowing that I could cancel within 24 hours. I did end up cancelling within 24 hours of booking and was still charged(~$2000) a few days after cancelling. I contacted the accounting department and did not receive a call back. I now have to dispute through my credit card company.

Stayed here for a 3 days conference. Had a chance to increase my social networking. And, finally put faces on the names that I usually communicate via email. Huge door at the facade that automatically opens up as you enter. Catering here was great!

Location is great, walking distance to the French Quarter and other attractions. The room was comfortable, well kept and had a good view. The staff was very courteous, however I wasn't always clear about what amenities and services I received with my reservation.

We booked a king size room and got a double instead. We didn't even check in late! Why would they give away our room? And there was no discount or special accommodations for this mistake. The double room smelled of mold, we asked them to move us to another room, but they couldn't until the next day. Then room they moved us to was worse than the first one! I ended up leaving and going to another hotel after one night. The staff could not care less about losing customers. Huge disappointment and an absolute shame for Le Meridien. I view their brand poorly as a result. I've seen some Best Western hotels that were better and nicer than this!

I stayed here for the first time this past week and I must say I really enjoyed my stay! The hotel itself is beautiful with a great modern Miami feel. The location was conveniently located right across the street from Harrahs casino which was a great plus for me. This is one hotel in New Orleans that has a beautiful pool area that gives you skyline views. The room was large and shower was great. I did love the free morning coffees from the restaurant downstairs. They also had complimentary bikes that you could reserve to go exploring the city! #holistictravelbabe

Amazing! Front desk manager Steven was sooooo amazing! The hotel was lovely and I would definitely stay again. The entire staff was so friendly! I loved my visit! Only suggestions get rid of those coolers in the room. They are useless! I'll be back! Oh and its directly across the street from Harrah's Casino! And walking distance to Canal street.. #winning

I stayed for 5 days, its way too noisy. The cleaning lady is super noisy, I dont know if she was having a bad week, but I could listen every step, every door, everyting she touched.
Everyday at night I also could listen the tv or the conversation from the room next to mine.

The pool is beautiful and have a great gym, the room had a good size and was comfy, but even in a non smoking room I could smell the cigarrets from the ac.

The room and all of the hotel amenities and services were excellent, as well as being very conveniently located to both the downtown area and tourist destinations. However, the barking dog apparently left alone by a guest during daytime hours in a room down the hall was unacceptable after having alerted the front desk upon arrival. The poor dog's anxiety and pain was obvious. Animals do not belong in this kind of upscale hotel.

As much as I liked the decor and the breakfast at this hotel, I will never stay here again. I travel for work extensively and am a platinum elite member at Marriott. I had originally booked one night because I wasn't sure where my business might take me that week. Upon finding out that I would be spending the remainder of the week in NOLA, I booked two additional nights. Upon booking I asked about potential rate changes and was told there would be none. Lo and behold, rate change on my last night. I got with the hotel administration who said they would fix and credit back the difference. However, I couldn't turn in the statement for reimbursement due to the charges being incorrect. I'm sitting here a week later with no updated statement and no refunded charges. I have an entire week's worth of expenses being held up by incompetence, lack of urgency, and overall just not giving a damn about a customer on behalf of this hotel. I'd be extremely wary staying at this property. Looks good on the outside, but not all that glitters is gold.

5 stars for a great hotel. The room was average but the service and atmosphere made up for that. The location is perfect. Their accommodations were more than adequate for the event and the food was delicious. Will certainly be staying here again.

Off the beaten path of the busy french district but with bourbon street a 10 minute walk away still close enough to all the music and partying that rages on in to the early hours of a saturday morning, great contemporary rooms and affordable prices if you know where to look

This hotel was super clean and the staff was so friendly. Had no issues with valet parking and had our car within 15 minutes when we were ready to leave. We got $5 vouchers for food every night we skipped housekeeping left under our door. Location was very convenient to walk to canal Street, the French quarter, the aquarium, Riverwalk, and the ww2 museum. It did take us 2 hours to get extra towels one night, but not a big deal. Our bed was comfy, but could use an update as it sinks in the middle.

Really I say its 2.5. They do not have mini fridges it's a cooler which is stupid considering even motel 6 has mini fridges. They need to update the a/c unit in their room first room we were in broke, 2nd room is better but we like it cold. Set it 60 and never gets freaking cold considering its 90 outside. Because at night we got freaking hot and popped out of the covers.Everything else is fine.

I have to say, for my first time in New Orleans, this hotel was perfect. Everything was super close and accessible.

Everyone was super friendly. There are different events that happen every night. I would recommend reading the ads in the elevator or as the concierge.

Valet parking was super easy and convenient.

One tiny problem I had was that the pool wasn't heated (wish it was). the first day was super hot which was perfect but then the other days we stayed, the weather dropped into the 50s (which was pretty cold for down south, I thought).

Le Meridian also had a restaurant called LMNO. This restaurant had great food but it took longer than I expected. Maybe because I'm from NYC but please come with patience.

Other than that I would highly recommend this and I would definitely come back.

Very nice hotel and amenities. The location was convenient for the parades and within a 15-20 minute walk from the French Quarter. The layout of the hotel is interesting, we had a corner room sandwiched by 3 or 4 other rooms, which made it very easy for us to hear our neighbors. The room was nice, although we couldn't shut our bathroom door and there's no exhaust fan to get the steam out after a shower. Bar in the lobby also made a damn good Bloody Mary!

Views are from the 18th floor. Nice hotel, not great, but nice. In thier 'wisdom' they have decided to give you a cooler instead of a fridge, bad idea! This, mind you is in addition to a fridge stocked with high priced snacks. As a diamond member, whatever that means these days, I am quite offended, I briught back a meal from Ruth Chris and was mortified when I opened what I thought was a fridge and read the fine print. Not to mention the $13 a bottle, Goose Island Bourbon Barrel Stout that I had purchased, lets just say that the ice machine got quite a workout. The staff here appear to be under concerned with the guests, somewhat dismissive, and do not act as brand ambassadors. I have gotten much better service @ the Courtyard and Embassy Suites. On the plus side the rooms are nicely appointed, save the lack of a fridge, vuews are good and the gym is suitable.

A 2-minute walk from Harrah's New Orleans casino and 0.6 miles from the Contemporary Arts Center, this refined hotel is also 1.2 miles from the French Quarter.

The sophisticated modern rooms feature pillow-top mattresses and desks, plus 55-inch flat-screen TVs, WiFi (fee) and minifridges. Suites add separate living rooms; upgraded suites offer panoramic river/skyline vistas.

Amenities include a rooftop pool with private cabanas (including TVs) and a fitness center, plus a contemporary-chic bar/restaurant and a hip lobby coffee shop/cocktail bar. There's also a business center and over 20,000 sq ft of meeting space.

The room was clean and spacious, and we had an amazing view. Hotel staff was eager to help. Le Meridien is located near amazing restaurants in a vibrant area of the city. Many places are within walking distance. The hotel rewards you with a restaurant voucher for opting out of housekeeping, which is a great idea for a short stay. Their restaurant is very tasty.

Urban corner room with a view 21st floor, with in 10 min walk to french quarter. Close to many great places to eat, dog friendly too. Room is cozy, clean, room is almost sound proof, i would stay again.

Best hotel in NOLA! Don't stay anywhere else but here. Very modern style rooms. Great parking across the street in lot P151! Service was excellent. One down fall was that our room did not have a ventilation fan, but that is not enough to lower my 5-star rating!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Solid 4 star hotel. Lobby and rooms sleak and clean. Booked through Hotwire at a great discount. Having the riverside streetcar at the head of Poydras helped getting back and forth to Frenchman Street. Mini bar prices were steep but this hotel isn't alone there. Didn't try the hotel bar or pool but both looked inviting.

A nice hotel with a great location, close to Riverwalk, Canal Street and other popular places downtown just a few blocks away. The hotel is big but rooms are small, which is fine considering its usually not a place you go to spend time in the hotel.

Pros: Great staff! Good location. Lots of little perks like hotel credit, art museum passes, etc. Cons: Walls are thin so get a room away from the elevators and hope for quiet neighbors, bathroom layout is awkward. Overall more good than bad.
