Airport's nice and efficient but due to covid-19 50% or more of the restaurants shops etc were closed.

Relaxed. Not too crowded. Starbucks is open (unlike at most U.S. airports) and efficient.
Most everything is contactless and workers are constantly sanitizing which is great.
Never had an issue with the airport but it s rather small that s all
TSA is the worst in St Louis, do a lot of traveling and hate going here. Very rude and not a help, overcome with their "power". United Airlines is just the opposite, great customer service.
Such a huge airport for a relatively small city. Lots of space and Well maintained.
This is my hometown. Since I moved away I have been through many airport terminals. I am shocked that the city of St.Louis cannot update the airport since a citys airport is the welcoming mat. Poor impression. Lazy employees. I cannot believe that its as good as post WW2 in age. It takes tornado damage to make any repairs. This was once an airport of great aviation history but due to lousy management pouring unnecessary funds into the Riverfront AGAIN didnt need it--they are criminals who should be in jail.
I'm very disappointed, I checked my luggage at the baggage counter and TSA opened it to check witch is cool, they opened my 6oz. beard oil bottle and did not close the top at all. So needless to say the oil emptied out of the plastic bag that it was into my luggage. Please, whom ever did this in the future take the time and close the next person's liquid bottles. Continue to save us from the evils of the world but my "Beard Oil" comes in peace
Generally a pretty good airport. It's essentially Southwest and everything else because STL is a Southwest hub. Lots of decent restaurants and plenty of space. Well-lit and looks rather new. No free wifi last time I was there though.
To call this an international airport is amusing. Certainly it flies to one or two destinations in Canada :)
Had a two and half hour flight from vegas with FRONTIER. Waited over and hour for someone to push a few buttons to get my over sized luggage which was two car seats for my neice and nephew. We first went to baggage services and were met with a response of "We're not open". So we went to the nezt employee we could find who told us we had to go to ticketing area to get them to bring someone down to push the few buttons liberating the car seats. At the ticketing area they told us that the people being checked in were priority and we'd have to wait for them to finish. Finally a saint of a woman named Ingrid grabs our attention and goes down and frees the car seats and we can finally start our 3 hour drive home. Will never fly FRONTIER again, this disregard for people is unacceptable.
Basically a copy-cat of 12L-30R. No creativity, no inspiration. The dull grey only accented by occasional white, very drab. And you need permission to get in? Not worth the cover charge. 2 stars for smoothness and neo-metro styling. 12R-30L is so hot right now.
Pretty nice airport. Not too big so you wont be running late to gate because its crowded and need to take a train. It's about 30 min from downtown and the famous Gateway Arch.
Nice airport. Wasn't expecting to be here (emergency landing) but they have lots of food options and the ground crew seems to be keeping up with the snow storm...
Out of all of the major airports I've flown to/through, Lambert is the most behind the times. What this airport does have is an area to charge your electronic devices at every gate.
Airports that charge people to use their internet should not be a thing anymore... the bathroom by my gate had a sink with standing water in it that had been there for at least a day and was overall gross. The rest of the airport was ok at best.
Sam gave us amazing service despite being busy and the only one there! She went above and beyond, fantastic experience
Gates are far apart came in at night most things closed but looked clean n nice
It's an airport... what can you expect. Not the worst one I have been in and not the best either.
Two baggage claim belts for an entire terminal. Waited over an hour for baggage. Unacceptable.
Baggage claim is extremely slow and Priority tag means nothing for them.
First off, I'm not too thrilled about flying. Some of the TSA employees were so rude and WHY??!! It's already kind of hectic in the place and they don't make it any better. One employee was just yelling at people which wasn't called for! I guess they figure they are above the LAW and they can do that and they know nothing will be done about it.
WHAT CHOICE DO I HAVE !! $3.22 FOR A SMALL COKE BECAUSE NO WATER AVAILABLE !!
Good experience! A small and easy to navigate airport. All fast food, restaurants.and gift shops are located directly across from the boarding gates. I use this airport often!
Great employees. Everything was easy to find. Only 4 stars because some cooky lady had an attitude near baggage claim.
We are sitting on the tarmac in front of our gate here at 11:00pm. Can t the ground crew pay attention and pull us 30 to the gate? Pitiful!!
Interesting.
Lot of food & libation options.
To far between gates (5-34), next time a wheelchair.
To bad there is no USO Lounge.
Little to appreciate the military.
This place has the worst when it comes to handling baggage.. Minimum 45 minutes to get luggage..(On a good day).. Southwest employees looking at the NFL playoff game instead of ensuring customers get bags.. Pathetic..
The facilities are so so, but the people running the restaurants all work for the same company and are lazy and rude. Travelers depend on them for food and drink in our time of need and they close early and refuse to serve a full menu any time after 7pm.
Flew through here on a Sunday evening. Place was trashed. Food options suck. Every place had a long line. Sandwich shop I finally settled for was out of everything and service was poor. Staff all appeared to hate their job. Bathrooms were filthy and stunk. And the food sucked and my flight was late leaving. Not a pleasant experience.
Easy to navigate, easy to get a pre flight drink near your gate. Clean, COVID conscious.
Usually not crowded (even less during the Covid-19 pandemic) so you can find your own space to eat and wait comfortably.
Beautiful quaint, clean, office type furnishings. Everyone is very attentive, very good service. Everything very beautiful
A middling airport that is neither miserable nor particularly nice. I d give it 3 stars except for:
1. The WiFi is that horrible pay-for-access Boingo nonsense. It s 2018, Lambert. I m already paying $4 for a coke and $15 for the jammy booze at Vino Volo. I m doing my part; throw me a frickin bone, here!
2. The blare of cable news at the gates is obnoxious. At the moment, for example, there s some awful aughts-retrospective on the idiot box through which everyone here suffers while no one watches. This must be what medieval peasants felt like every time there was a Punch & Judy show on the hgh street. Deliver us from talking heads, oh lord!
my boyfriend didnt pick me up from the airport. i havent eaten for 3 days. ive been living in the bathroom stalls.
he said he would come get me a week ago.
I think the airport staff is pretty nice...the small Starbucks in the airport though...those people should be fired. They are rude, slow and keep telling people to tip them. Unbelievable
Best airport in the Midwest. Lambert-STL is great place to visit!
Very bad experience. Had my wife and our 3 small children and the TSA Security people delayed so much that we just barely made our flight. They delayed our carry-on bag because it had some raisin bran cereal in it. My wife and I had such a great time while on vacation to have the St Louis Airport experience ruin the vibe. I dread the idea of having to go to it again. Horrible.
Honestly the worst airport I've ever been to. The lines, ironicly, take longer than the lines in LAX.
It was great a nice place friendly people everything nice and organized not too far out of the way got my luggage for the quick and all of my luggage Southwest it's a great Airline really nice planes thank you
It's not as bad as you'd think. STL is making some nice expansions and renovations. Plenty of quiet nooks to rest at during layovers.
The Starbucks next to Terminal E31 was a disappointment. The staff was extremely unprofessional and making remarks that were uncalled for. If this the type of people you have working in this environment, I wouldn t recommend.
Airport was clean but feel more personnel is needed.
Saying this is a second-rate airport would be an insult to second rate airports. Essentially unstaffed for morning flights and has consistent issues. Lackluster AND poorly designed layout.
If you're going through security and see someone named Kate working, ask for a private security screening.
When your flight gets rerouted due to inclement weather, there are worse places to wait out the storms. Could use more outlets in the gate waiting areas, though.
A great airport option. The airport is well maintained, the security lines are quick, and there is plenty of comfortable seating.
My very first time flying and it was amazing, thanks for taking good care of us
Very few people TRAVELING, Fast TSA clearance, easy boarding.
This airport is the worst that I have been to, and I fly alot! They had the rental car pickup on the green level, but had a yellow sign stating that it was on the second floor. I turned around and went to the second floor to see the rental buses below me. They failed to mention that you had to go outside to go up to a floor half way between the first and second. All managers here should be fired. It is poorly laid out and poorly managed! My bags were damaged and the service was poor.
I was forced to check my carry-on bag after carrying it under the seat for every other flight today through the same airliner (american). They said they ran put of room so I guess they had someone else's bag under my assigned seat? Very displeased and will be unexplainable upset if my bag gets lost. Also warned TSA several times about powdered substances in my bag for them to test but they said it was ok only to pull me out line later and ask me to remove the contents of my bag like a criminal to find the same powdered protein shake I tried to warn them about. Flight number AA1617 crew was horrible!
None of the doors on the men's room stalls would lock. That made for tense few moments while I used it.
One of the simplest airports to navigate. Actually friendly tsa agents. I do have tsa pre check though.
Why would you have it set up so that if you use lyft or uber to get picked up from the airport that they drop you off and pick you up at departures when you get your baggage from baggage claim at arrivals. So confusing and no signs anywhere.
Honestly..wasn't too impressed. Too many vacated shops that were left unclean.
Great airport. Has all the stores and shops that one needs.
I had a 3+ hour layover in March so had a bit of time to explore. The bathrooms are clean & well stocked with the appropriate "papers". The variety of restaurants is good with the prices being on par for an airport: stupid $ to pay for a bagel, but not outrageous.
Its not so great. Everyone at airport made surw that they follow cdc guidelines during this pandemic. But it is not well maintained. No proper reply from staff.
The terminals are large and spacious. And since is never many travelers here it works very well. Place does have a couple of issues. I have flown from here at least 3 dozen times and all of them have been delayed in on form or another and I can never figure out why. It is like cursed for me and it does not happen at other airports except for a few times. The restrooms here are never clean and they disgusting and it looks like they need better staff to take care of this place. The food choices are also very limited.
Another ridiculous experience through TSA, what can you expect though.
The people on the plane were great but inside the airport on the southwest side they were horrible a woman was very rude snapped on me and my wife when we asked a simple question almost made us miss out flight
Good airport not to hard to get around. Simple and easy to get around and very straight forward unlike bigger airports that you need a map for
Good - but not as good as the St Louis Cardinals - So glad those slow grazing Rams decided to get greedy again and go back to the hell they came from. "Holly Weird" Lambert smokes LAX ... The Pacific Rim is going to rumble this grotesque land in a great abyss! What a glorious day that will be!
I love this airport! I travel alot, but this was my first time in St. Louis. We had an hour layover. SWA provided us with wheelchair assistance from gate to gate. Our wheelchair 'driver' was a young man named Edward----extremely polite and helpful. His mama should be proud of him! Another special employee, John, went back on the plane when I discovered I had left my purse under the seat. He found it promptly and returned it to me! The airport is very clean. I was pleased to find a Starbuck's, and it was great to have real coffee for the first time in two weeks. I was impressed that the airport has a Doggie-Relief Station. Great airport----I hope I get to come back again sometime!
Had a great time for my first flight. Friendly people
Not very crowded. Speedy service with boarding and friendly staff
