Easy check-in and very friendly Delta employee. TSA agents were friendly and helpful as we made our way through their screening machines. This was in stark contrast to the Atlanta TSA agents who just look at you. You have to ask, "Should I go this way?" and they shrug, like it doesn't matter to me. Loved Lambert-St. Louis!!!!
Seems like Southwest Airlines has hired some excellent new people. The young guy at security was super nice and cheerful today!
Expert service with assistance getting (wheel chair) to where I needed to be. Everyone very friendly, very pleasant. Thank you, SLLI.
Very nice clean easy in and out staff was very helpfull
Really easy to get around and very friendly staff at Southwest.
Nothing special at this airport. Security was very quick.
Nice staff and tsa is quick but the architecture is from the 80s if not older. time for a new airport?
It's an airport. It's better than O'Hare. What else do you really need to know? It's not like you get much of a choice about which St. Louis commercial airport to fly into.
Confusing at times to get around but what airport isnt
Oof, this was a rough airport during covid. Very few people wearing masks and almost nobody doing any social distancing. Even if St Louis as a city is doing well in terms of covid, that doesn't mean that people shouldn't wear masks in the airport!!
No problems or issues. Not crowded. TSA Precheck was speedy and easy. Personnel were pleasant and polite. A good experience all around.
I love STL airport because it is small, clean and easy to navigate.
Terminal 2 is a bustling place but many of the food places were closed
I can't imagine what do folks need from an "Airport"... All of them have the same attributes and amenities!! STL is efficient in design and operations are smooth! Minimum walking! TSA is light weight, short lines and quick.
St Louis airport is great. Easy to manuver through, good staffing, lots of southwest flights , in and out.
Amazing job in the renovated areas. But sad shadow of its once bustling glory 1990-2000. B gates and C29+ entirely sealed off.
This is third world. Such a poorly run airport. Baggage claim is the slowest.
Staff was friendly and TSA process went smoothly. Nice job.
It is decent, not too big, not many flights, service is poor, but I like planes so I m giving this a 4
This airport is Awesome, as sion as i checked in, and reported to my departure gate. . the restrictions were right there, and there's hooks on the wall to hang your garment bag; or whatever. The services/ assistance were Great. I could say more; but the stars speaks for itself
Not too busy an airport. Also you can only use their free internet for an hour.
St Louis Lambert international airport is a great place to be very user-friendly great staff
Some food service still closed so grab it where you can.
Poor airport. Traffic routing horrible. Parking expensive...Dulles garage parking is $17 a day and a very good airport. Get to airport and checked in an hour early...7pm. Thinking I can grab a meal here I skipped restaurants on the way. I also checked the airport website... and the dining options were not closing until 8pm or later. I get here all restaurants closed.... i understand this is Friday before Christmas but no notices or alerts on the airport website stating early closures.... might have helped... good have been good customer service. Really dislike coming to and thru this airport.
Overall the airport is nice. Easy to get parking, food is decent, wait times at TSA OK. BUT.... There is always a ridiculously long wait time for baggage. The airport really needs to do something about this. I'm currently sitting in the cell phone lot Bc my niece has been waiting for her bag for 46 mins. I wish I could say this was a rare occurrence but it happens way to frequently. It's become a running joke in our family. I travel a lot for work and fun and never have this problem elsewhere. It's embarrassing for our airport and our town.
Y all really screwed up the passenger pick up at terminal 1
I will avoid this airport like the plague in the future. I departed from STL. It started with me being told the checked luggage I paid for online had to be paid for again. I was told then I could dispute it with my card company later. I shouldn't have to waste my time when I did everything I was supposed to in advance. From there, I was treated as cattle and an inconvenience to the employees. Two employees out of approximately 16 I had contact with were polite and helpful. I understand people have bad days but something is seriously wrong when the majority of employees are acting like jerks. There is obviously an employee morale problem at this airport and it is taken out on the passengers.
Very nice airport... Staff is really nice. I love that it's small, you're in and out quickly!!!
Just your average airport not too big nor small. Easy to navigate. Plenty of choices to eat and drink.
Nice airport. Nothing special. All terminals are not connected. Airforce takes off here and sine jets fly by. Awesome!
Using both frontier and southwest both services were great. Security check was timely. Airport was clean, stores polite and quick. Only issue was the airport felt warm like the A/C was not ablE to keep up. But that is my only issue.
Desolate terminals, no UberX...this airport is stuck in the 90s.
So, evidently all the staff in charge of checking bags just checks out at 9pm. No where does it say this, or give any heads up. So we arrived at 10pm for my brother's flight that was going to be early the next morning, and we walk in, and the airport is literally empty. We walk back out and ask the police officer where everyone is and he said, the staff that checks bags leaves at 9pm. I asked when my brother could check his bags since his flight was really early in the morning, the officer said that the people that check bags are unreliable so it could be 4:30am before he can check his bags, or it could be 5am. He wasn't sure.
Maybe it's just because I'm from a city with a fairly big airport, but I have NEVER heard of an airport practically closing after a certain time. It would have been helpful if somewhere online they mentioned that they all check out at 9pm, so that we could have been there early. I am flabbergasted. I still can't get over how weird it felt to walk into a practically empty airport.
They really need to make their hours more clear.
Ok airport-is in need of an overhaul..very outdated.
Shuttle service to outer parking lots are hard to get if you land early. Waited in the cold for 30 minutes and then asked another shuttle driver if they could radio someone for assistance.
Easy for dropping off and picking family or friends. Very comfortable wait inside withers restuarants and goofy shops while you wait for your flight
The airport is clean and most of the staff inside is friendly. The recent construction made passenger pick up confusing and the parking attendant on duty was EXTREMELY rude. It isn't that hard to nicely point people in the right direction of were they need to go.
Airport is fine but the boingo wifi SUCKS. 20 'complimentary' minutes that you have to watch an ad to use. Why even bother? Get with the program, Lambert International!
Conveniently located between 12L and 11, 12R provides an exhilarating 11,019 feet of excitement, slight gradients and breathtaking views of empty gates and unused airport facilities. Enjoy a nice landing and smooth rollout to the C or E More
This is home, born and raised but I have lived on the west coast 27+ Years and here in the Lou We be huSTLing our airport is one of the finest, our food, some of the best visit STL we got it going on. LOVE STL
I mean, it s not gross, but couldn t find any real food except for the sit down pub forever away from my gate that I didn t have time for and had to walk a like quarter mile to find the nearest restroom that seemed to be the only one because the line was awful and I only had a 20 minute layover. No time for this. Also had to fight for like 5 mins for the man at the kiosk s attention so I could buy trail mix. Hungry & frustrated. Travelers are human please have access to food and restrooms thank you
Since TWA was acquired by AA this airport has been on the decline. Many gates are unused and it is turning into a small regional airport rather than a central hub.
Small airport. Not much to do. Easy time through security. And no waits at 3pm Sunday
Over crowded. Poorly set up fir the amount of people
I am glad to see from reading the reviews that I am not the only one who thinks this airport could use some sprucing up, better food options, more outlets (it is 2017 after all) and free wifi. I travel every week and STL is about one of the only airports left who does not have free wifi for passengers.
I give this airport, simply for the East terminal, known as terminal 2. Terminal 1 needs a makeover. Terminal 1 also has a horrible system for picking someone up from the airport. Terminal 2 on the other hand, hardly has any long waits. They are the major terminal for Southwest Airlines. I like terminal 2 because I can always get in or out of that terminal very quickly.
The vendor next to Gate A6 was playing music so loud the announcements from A6 couldn't be heard by many, on the morning of 2/24/2020. I realize playing music is an advertisement, but it isn't the club!
Nice airport but last time I was here I have a delay in my flight of about 12 hours.
Southwest agents are not friendly! Rude some might say!!
Every flight, in or out, pre- 9/11, OUTSTANDING!!! And that will remain my memory because after TSA became an entity, I have only flown on 3 separate occasions and they were the problem every time. The Airfield (What it truly is...) is historic, and worth checking out.
Working water fountains and bathrooms with easy navigation to terminals and gates.
Small, but clean and well maintained. Short TSA lines, friendly TSA and curbside check-in staff. No free WiFi. Eating and drink options are poor. Terrible area of town.
I lived in St. Louis for 50 years and recently returned.
The once beautiful terminal building is a worn out dump. Employees of the airport seemed beyond rude and were actually hostile.
Great experience using Terminal 2 every time I flight here. This airport is undergoing renovations in certain areas and they've added a number of local restaurants. The terminal space is now light and airy. Check-in, baggage claim, and gates are all easy to find and convenient. I just flew out of NYC LaGuardia and it's a dump. Lambert is a gem in the middle of the country.
Only thing that could have made it better would be if more places were open.
Very few options for food, all of the options are overpriced.
The people were very sweet and helpful. However when waiting to board the plane, the TV was obnoxiously loud, the lady talking to us could not be understood, I believe she was slurring her words, although the speaker system was awful too. I am at Charlotte Douglas International Airport now and I was able to understand every word lady was saying when waiting to aboard the plane.
Airport is fine. I use it every week. Magazines changed in all shops. No people, good housekeeping, food network, etc
Only, health expensive fashion etc.
Friendly staff. Security wait times are always short whenever I go
Small enough to not be overwhelming, big enough to get a direct flight almost anyway
It was really nice everyone was helpful yes question everyone was willing to and freely give you information to your destination I would recommend it to my friend and family
GREAT! FRIENDLY and helpful staff. Shops and restaurants were fantastic also. I was at terminal 1 American Eagle. Plane was small.
