The St. Louis airport was good with very few people. Only departing and arrivals
Good service, easy access with the rental car can bringing us in
Easy to get around in. Many good shops and restaurants. Clean airport.
It was first flying experience and it wasn't as bad as I have always thought. The next time I fly I will check out the other airlines because Frontline seats were VERY uncomfortable, but other wise great experience!
When I got there, they had no planes. Errr, I was mad!
This airport is easy to navigate, but every single airport in the country has gone thru renovations, not this one.. and it needs it, big time.
Easy layout. More shops needed and some upgrades to the facility itself. Overall a nice airport and easy in and out.
Easy traffic flow and very helpful staff. Every time I fly here, I always get greeted with friendly staff members.
The bartender Crystal is amazing she's very friendly and remembers her costumers.
Pristine clean, easy to get around.
Love the walk thru museum.
How to study in St Louis for 5 hours for layover that's ridiculous nothing to do especially if you're low on money so five hours you ready to go home that needs to be corrected I'm putting some more interesting things that you can do out there in nowhere land very few jobs to look at just playing tiring and boring well hopefully not to hurt nobody feelings but will admit by pass St Louis from now on.
I liked it so much because I'm getting on a plane and getting the heck out of here
This review is specifically for the domestic terminal: ugly airport, lousy food choices. It's like a strip mall but with overpriced food.
I had been to STL about a year ago on a layover, but didn t really have any strong impressions of the airport. On this trip, I arrived on Southwest and found that terminal to be crowded and dated - at least more so than the United gates, which I flew out of and were much more bright/clean feeling and had far more dining options to choose from. This isn t meant as a criticism of the airport overall, but more as a comment that the renovation/improvement project that they re working on has made a difference as you can clearly tell which areas have gotten a facelift and which haven t.
Compared to New York's LaGuardia Airport, this place is the Taj Mahal! Good food, nice people reasonably updated Airport. All good!
Lady at TSA precheck Gate C, was very rude when all I did was ask a curious question about what do they swab my phone for. Its random that's fine, but if I ask something for my curiosity dont be a rude grinch about it. Grow up or quit your job if your gonna act miserable to everyone. This 1 star is for that 1 grinch.
Almost no food choices for vegan-vegitarians. I finally settled for oatmeal at Starbucks. So odd for a major U.S. city.
Very busy place
Had to wait 10-15 minutes for luggage
Flown out of STL twice to Orlando and San Diego on American and Southwest pretty good airport to fly out of. it beats having to pay over $300 to fly out of Springfield MO with the exception of Southwest being in St. Louis
Terminals don't connect so you have to exit security and take a bus. Wifi is only free for an hour. Airport in general is worn out.
Had a decent time. The lines were short for the fast food and everyone was nice, Nothing spectacular.
As a layover stop, Terminal 2 (Southwest) is great. I have never found it to crowded, unlike Midway. The restaurant options are decent when you have to eat. As a departure point, I have found this TSA checkpoint to be great with PreCheck. Make sure you account for travel time to the off-site car rental. The shuttle service is quick, but it easily adds 10-15 minutes to getting in or out of Lambert.
TSA very rude... Gal sitting at desk playing with her cellphone I was the ONLY person ready to go through security. I asked if I could go through without having to loop around 8 or 9 times to get there, she shook her head and dismissively waved me around... BTW, I am 78 years old.
I'll start off with the good, it's easy to unload and get to your terminal, but that's about it.. if it's busy you'll wait a while for TSA, the airport is rundown, if your in terminal 1 there is no place to eat, and in 2 there in not much to choose from. Let's just say it's probably one of the most run down airports around. And don't brake down outside of the airport, it's not a good area..
12/27. Typical St. Louis Lambert Airport. You arrive at a peak time first thing in the morning post-holiday and the airport knows how many people will be coming through the doors and they close the TSA line. They had to walk every single person past the security dog first. Not walk the dog past the line. I m always amazed at St. Louis airport approach to tackling a common procedure and making it a disaster, ticking people off and then to make your experience even more enjoyable TSA agents just laughing at everyone who is frustrated.
Ok support all security and dog checks. Someone help St Louis Ops team get an education in process and efficiency.
wished the terminals connect so we can wander around while waiting to board.
Very clean bathrooms and etc. Staff with not very enthusiastic about their job.
I had no problems at the terminal where Alaska Airlines has its gate. Bag claim area was very efficient. Good signage for Passenger Pickup area.
I had a very good experience they were very courteous and kind
Helpful personnel. Good signage. Easy to find your way around
As far as airports go, Lambert has little to offer that is unique or inviting. However it serves it purpose well, is well run, and should NEVER be privatized. Traffic is non existent, and if you show up atleast 45 minutes before your flight, you'll be good. Airport looks a lot bigger, because it is, half the airport concourse is vacant.
One of the BEST airports, but under utilized airports in the country. Would be nice to pick up more international carriers such as Japan: JAL or ANA (gateway to Asia) to NRT or HND. European: London, Paris, Amsterdam. It's a shame that smaller MSA's such as NOLA, BNA (Nashville), portland OR, Salt lake city, etc. have trans-ocesnic flights and STL still 19th largest metro does not have any! Board member's should really be looking into this.
Big airport but less crowd. Shops in airport are not open 24x7. But security check Will be very quick compared to other airport.
Whatever terminal the E gates are in was awful. Not enough restrooms. Always a line out the door at both men's restrooms. Would avoid planning your connecting flight here.
Traveled many airports, this is one of my Top 10 best. Always clean bathrooms, great restaurants, always someone to help if need be. Good signs for correct terminals.
STL is not my pick of the litter. However there is that little St. Louis charm that you get upon arrival. Flying into this airport is better than dealing with the crowds of Denver international. This airport gets the Bruce Tamale seal of approval.
Airport seems clean enough and people are friendly. Baggage claim takes an abysmally long time. I waited to get multiple data points before posting this (made multiple trips) there is no reason for it to take 30 minutes for bags to show up after we get off the plane but it does. Plan ahead for the wait or your ride will be waiting outside forever!
It's an airport, if you're reading this. Why?! I mean... It's the place where you board an overpriced taxi with wings.... P.S. The starbucks coffe staff is pretty amicable.
Love this airport! Easy to maneuver and always clean!
The airport was eerily empty, concourse C on a Monday afternoon. Everything is closed lol.
They Are Top Notch A1...most Hassle-free Perfect Service from Start To Finish ..Thank You Home City...Sity.
Efficient airport with plenty of dining and shopping options.
This is my favorite airport, because I love to fly here. This is my home
Had a great time with family. I'm sad to go home. But I miss both of my Boo Boos.
I think it sucks that the airport does not provide wheel chair access for individuals attending events at the airport. I needed wheel chair service for my aunt who needed service from the main upper door to the reception area, and I was told the company who contracts this doesn't provide this service; its only for those flying customers only. I can see providing the service at least when they know there will be special events at the main terminal.
Easy to navigate. A few nice places to rest before a flight.
Worst airport I've ever been to, unnecessarily confusing layout, why are the gates and security separated randomly on opposite sides of the airport? Seat benches are ripped, ugly bars and useless tech shops scattered all over the place and water bottles start at $2.50. Bathrooms have 3-4 toilets and there is always a line
Always surprised at how clean and organized Lambert always is.
Quick and efficient. The friendly staff was very helpful.
Need to update the Wi-Fi service in terminal 2, otherwise nice.
This airport is the last stop along the red line of the MetroLink, which is convenient if you don't feel like taking a taxi/Uber/Lyft or paying for parking. (Of course, that's only nice if you live or are coming from somewhere near one of the MetroLink stations) The terminals are connected if you find yourself in the wrong one and you can get from one terminal to the other by using the airport shuttle. St. Louis is a Southwest Airlines hub, so SWA has it's own terminal of 20 (or so) gates.
If you're flying back into this airport with a checked bag, just know that there are only 2 luggage carousels. So during high traffic times, like the summer, you may have a wait.
outgrew the infrastructure. Arrivals are a nightmare.
Had a fly in my beer. After eating I couldn't find a clean toilet. There is 3 toilets per restroom. One stall in each restroom wouldn't stay latched. Every toilet seat is dirty. If you wipe one down, the auto flush will go off and splatter the seat in toilet water. It's a pretty gross airport.
I came to lambert airport on Aug 13th for my training job program I didn't start working until a week later my job with regency cleaning stuff my experience was pretty good throughout many months I worked on concourse A on Monday's and terminal 2 to Tuesday-Friday. I met new friends along my journey and there was some frustrations but i was able to learn from them easily of not to do bad things while at work. A few times i went to explore concourse C to see what looks like also walk threw abandoned concourse D to get to my places to work as well everyday and my last day here was May 23 i graduated with my job program and i missed this place very much.
Wheelchair service was lacking, he didn't even try to help me with my bags
Worst airport! Dirty, takes forever to get luggage. Needs major updating.
Nice airport, need signage and actual designated rideshare pickup area. I also hate that I had to download Uber again at this airport....get Lyft!
It s like stepping back to the 80 s. There are no recycling bins and the urinals use more water than some of today s more efficient toilets. I was expecting to see someone smoking as they walked by.
I m not a hippy, tree hugging nut but even I know we should conserve and recycle where we can. Urinals don t need over a gallon of water after each use and recycling is commonplace today.
Get with the program STL.
Security lines are massive, departure board isn't working. Lines everywhere including the way too small restrooms. What a poor experiance. I fly all the time, this airport may be worse the LaGuardia! It wasnt this bad when TWA was here!
Got to the airport at 6 pm on a Saturday. Went to Pasta House to eat, closed. Went to Starbucks for a coffee, closed. Onto Dunkin Donuts, closed. Not a good way to start our vacation!
Super easy to get around and plenty of places open passed the gate
Fast travel from car to gate, friendly security, good restaurants (visited pre covid)
Older airport but not too run down. Definitely past its prime, not too crowded since it has more capacity than it needs.
Poor signage for exits, luggage carts way overpriced. They were offering free carts at other airports. Not many food options available.
Pick. Up. At. Night. Too long. All. The. Way. To 18 .. hard for. Older. People
Always a nice , attentive crew in St. Louis ! Covid protection is over the top , and a safety first attitude. This hub ROCKS !!
