Nice, carpeted, better food choices, not like a typical airport food court
No issues getting through security as both prechek and normal lines were light. Airport was remodeled within the last few years. Not many power outlets and no United or Delta clubs.
Took 3 hours to check 1 bag and get through security. Flight was delayed because TSA. 500+ people trying to catch planes before 6am. Only 1 out of 4 security points open.
Enjoyed my time at the airport. Clean and lots of food options.
I have been very fortunate that the flights I have chosen have always been on time and lines have not been bad on any of the carriers.
A very decent runway. A smooth landing every time on 12R and easy access to my gate.
Super small airport. My luggage got totally damaged, no one cared.
I have had no problems. So you know how they say get there 2 hours before. To be honest this place so dead all times of the day I know people who come 30min before and you ll be good. I do 45 min because I m just that person, but hope you have a safe flight
In general the airport is good, easy to get around and descent food/bar selection by airport size, bit seriously, free WiFi is limited to 60 minutes? So far from a business traveler friendly airport.
Tale of two airports. SW terminal, terminal 2, has many amenities and lots of flight. Terminal 1 pretty terrible with only a couple of bad restaurants. Security easy though. WiFi charged and not great so not a place for a long layover
Self serve kiosks to print boarding pass. If you are business class you can skip lines going through security, easy access to food, stores and gates.
Easy airport to fly in and out of. Lots of hotels and parking nearby.
Not enough of everything. Blasting CNN fake news everywhere.
I'm disappointed to find out once my carry on was checked thru TSA my 200 airpods came up missN I want to rate this airport a 0
Had a layover at this airport, so only got to experience concourse E. The bathrooms were clean and attended to. The restaurants and food selection were above average. The Southwest gates have newly updated chairs with cup holders and charging stations.
Great little airport, super clean, well organized, people make a great effort to make you fell at home, thanks St. Louis!!
It was raining when we got here tonight and even in the little sitting area outside to be out of the rain it was still spraying underneath around our ankles and getting our bags wet.
In and out very quickly. Social distancing seems to be okay.
While traveling through Terminal 2 this shuttle bus cut me off my pulling off the curb no turn signal some of these shuttle bus drivers and taxi cab drivers are awful a lot of speeding and illegal driving going on
My children had to fly through this airport on their way home, and are inexperienced at flying alone. They asked multiple employees for help in finding their connecting airline/flight and were vaguely pointed in different directions every time until they were both upset and scared. When they did finally find the right terminal the airport employee noticed their distress and must have misinterpreted it because she told my daughter to "loose her attitude" . When I called to request an escort for them I received equally vague and unhelpful direction. All in all a very unprofessional staff with poor customer service.
This is a very nice airport! With the improvement in the economy, there are a lot of flights out each day. Southwest is in Terminal 2 and they have expanded to new gates. The only problem is that some of the gates are almost a mile away from security so plan plenty of time for that. They are also adding restaurants which was needed. Finally, midweek the short-term parking garage gets filled up quickly so plan to park at one of the off-site garages or take an Uber or cab.
GRATEFUL for CLEAR and ARTICULATED ANNOUNCEMENTS about gate changes, Now Boarding, etc. Glad the sound system, mics are good and not fuzzy-sounding. Thanks, St. Louis Intl. Our flight was delayed out of Newark, so we had a shorter layover at St. Louis. No rush, we heard where we were supposed to be and food choices, charging tables and under chairs for our phones etc. were right there. Well done, all!!
Good airport. It is kept clean and the staff are usually helpful. The one problem I have with them is that all of the stores close at 9pm at night. Even though there are still flights arriving and leaving.
This is an airport that is easy to find one's way around in. That is enough said for the review, but I will add that it was clean and the people were friendly. Things seem organized for weary travelers who have spent a long time in the air and need some services quickly. We found a nice restaurant, and clean bathrooms, nice waiting rooms with great chairs that allowed me to recharge the phone.
I also must mention Customs and Immigration services. Quick organized and easy. I might have to repeat that for some other airports to notice how to do things.
Security was fast and efficient, and the staff was friendly! Would fly again!
It is not overly crowded, which is good but it does have it times where it is. Also make sure you know what airline you are flying because you could end up in the wrong parking lot.
Broke my Luggage
I guess other than that OK
At. Louis is a nice city. I would think the airport would be a nice airport. It just seems to be old and outdated. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable.
Because of COVID I got throughout security in 5 minutes. Signage for gates is not the best but you can look around to find your way. Nice staff and very clean, albeit most of it is closed right now.
Have flown at multiple airports, including this airport, and have never had problems getting my spouse, who is also military, a gate pass. When asking for a pass I was given attitude and confrontation.
I mean, it functions as an airport. Nothing spectacular though.
Have been to a dozen airports in US and this is the worst of them all. Assume extremely poor management.
No issues. Clean facilities. Very very minimal electrical outlet plug ins. Ample food and beverage selection.
Quick and Easy to get through the airport from check in to security.
The absolute worst passenger pickup in the country. They put up a bunch of signs that tell you to go to a garage instead of the road where everyone drives.
Quite poorly designed airport, not clean, very few electric outlets and the fact that there is no A/C at gates C27 and C28 is appauling.
It was so empty, I have ever seen it like this. This is first time traveling since Covid 19 started
Excellent customer service... Friendly helpful staff every last one of them!!!
Easy access. Good staff. The airport made sure people were safe during COVID.
Lines are always an issue, but great place to fly from/too...!
Evening flights arriving or departing from here are the best. At night the airport has low traffic so go through security is a breeze and picking up your luggage when arriving is also a breeze.
Very nice airport. I actually really enjoyed the sushi...and the green subway tile in the ladies room was a knock-out!
On our return trip home to St Louis, our flight arrived at around 1:00 a.m. . We thought my daughter's fiance was going to meet us in the baggage claim area, but he was up in the arrival pickup area. We didn't have an idea of where this was, and a wonderful man working at the airport asked if we needed assistance, and guided us to where the fiance was waiting. This man went out of his way to help us and it was after 1:00 in the morning. We are so thankful for him unfortunately I didn't get his name, but kudos to him and his willingness to help!! St Louis airport needs a hundred more people like him. Thank you very much!
I have used this airport plenty of times, and have heard the absolute worst about it, but have not once experienced anything bad. I have gotten through here faster than any other airport, staff has always been friendly, and prices are fair.
Services and flights are limited right now but everything is running smoothly.
Nice enough...need to be updated a little, had no problems getting around..
Clean, smooth, safe, respectful of covid and social distancing.
Clean & quiet ! Thanks you all for working during this difficult time
Southwest side very nice. Can't speak for other parts
What kind of American airport doesn't have free wifi?
A wonderful worker at Southwest Airlines pushed my husband's wheelchair, wrestled our bags and even brought me my driver's license, which I dropped on the way to our gate. There are gaurdian angels.
Checked my bag and went through security very quickly, no hassle at all
Wasn't at this airport for long but it looked nice and I was in and out fast which was great.
A decent airport but be aware the security scanning can take awhile, we had to stand in line for nearly an hour. Otherwise clean airport with good facilities and a swift board and depart experience (from what I've seen)
I fly frequently and this is a terrible airport. WiFi is unusable, constant long lines everywhere even on light travel days, and gridlock around airport made worse by unhelpful / rude airport employees screaming at gridlocked cars. This airport is a complete embarrassment for St. Louis.
EXCELLENT!!! Nobody here!! Security a breeze!!! Clean!! Like the RED rockers!!
As a St.Louis native it's sad how this airport compares to others around the United States and the world.
