It took a tech 3 visits to fix my range. First when you call the office, the individuals are not always professional. They answer the phone and immediately put you on hold. They transfer your call without being told your being transferred. The tech was borderline rude. An example when asked a question, he responds it's not my company with a rude tone. This happened during 2 of the 3 visits. In addition, the problem was misdiagnosed. No apology, no discount. When I complained, I was told, call Samsung, which sells good products, however, Lake Electronics did not represent themselves to that level. Who knows how this job is going to turn out. Sure it's working today, but..... I rate the entire process between 1-2 stars. I do not recommend them and will notify Samsung.

Horrible Customer Service both on the phone and in person. 3 hours late. Tech makes up stories tells me we broke the machine. Brand new machine. Absolute piss poor experience - SAMSUNG do you job and find a qualified company. On top of this he busted the machine and made it worse than before he started working on the damn thing. THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE THE ONE STAR!

Terrible!!! I spoke with Frank and he scheduled an appt to repair my Samsung range (it's 3 months old and has needed several repairs) Don't buy Samsung anything!!! Frank scheduled an appt for repair person to come out, I rearranged my entire day and they guy never showed up or called yet lied about it and said the repair was more than the range was worth without even looking at it!!!!! Don't use these people!

Why does Samsung give this place business, Their service stinks, the people are ignorant that answer the phone. Why do I have an electronics place repairing my appliance?? Samsung loses my business because they get companies like this to do mediocre repairs. Bad, bad business, avoid them if you will!!

Horrible customer service. Technician was nice but made a big mistake that cost us lots of $$$ and then when we called to get the issue resolved we had to hold FOREVER and then shuffled around to lot's of different people. Everyone was going to get back to me but never did.

After having trouble for weeks with our washing machine Samsung sent technician Kevin Derry out and he had the problem solved within an hour and also informed us of a problem with the water valve that we otherwise would have overlooked. Kevin was very mannerable and helpful. I would rate him 10/10!

Had Michael B as our tech and service was great and ultra quick. Friendly and professional. He knew his stuff and I was blown away by how quick he was able to get the dryer apart and diagnose the issues. He gave me the time when he'd be here and was on time. Was also informative about my other appliances.

They were assigned to me to fix my Samsung tv. I was told they would call me in 2 days. No call for 3 weeks. So I called when I finally had time and they had already canceled my ticket because they said they couldn't get a hold of me. So they rescheduled to get my tv fixed. No show and not even a call from the technician. I am having Samsung change the technician company. This is ridiculous and it's been over two months since the placement of this service ticket.

I had Lance come to service my Samsung refrigerator. I had called Samsung tech-support many times and they were not able to help me. Lance was able to fix my refrigerator and family hub after I was told by Samsung it was an issue with my wi-fi. He was polite, courteous and knew his product ! Thank you !

If I could give negative stars I would! This company is absolutely atrocious. You will sit on a phone loop for an hour before they decide to answer. The lady answering the phone is rude and immediately has a poor attitude she does NOT listen and will talk over you. I can t even imagine how terrible their actual service would be. If you are looking to use them move on! If your manufacturer sends you to them demand another company.

Samsung should NOT have them as one of their vendor. Worse company to deal with. They did not call me within the time frame Samsung told me, I now have no washer machine for a week because of them, once I got in touch with them after the weekend they gave me an appt for a couple of days later and their tech wanted to change the time after the fact and ended up rescheduling me for the next day and after I took the day off from work he didnt show up and the office told me that they were booked, after contacting the tech their tech LIED about everything and that's the ONLY TECH they have. I WOULD NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE FOR SOMEONE SO UNPROFESSIONAL TO COME INSIDE MY HOME. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Samsung is sending me another provider.

Completely frustrated with a absolute lack of respect for their customers time. I had a work order put in by Samsung for a fridge issue. When I scheduled it out I specifically told them I had to leave for work by 1pm. Lakes Electronics said they would schedule me as the first appointment. I could have scheduled this another day and I had taken off of work to get this problem fixed. I get a call from a tech the day of the call advising he would be there at a certain time which was past the previously discussed time. He told me in his notes there was nothing listed for a first appointment. So I call the company. The person I spoke with on the phone told me it was listed as first appointment, then she said the techs choose their own routes, then she told me that the first appointment could be anywhere from 9-12. If a company makes a mistake in scheduling that is one thing but when you give three different stories as well as your tech either not being truthful about what his paperwork or notes said ,or him not having the ability to read the paperwork properly and then your only response is we have to reschedule this by Monday or your ticket expires is completely unacceptable. When I told them I can t because I work they made zero effort in resolving this situation they created. Not once did someone from the company try to get this problem solved, nor did they seem to care that I had wasted a day. I actually spent my time calling Samsung to express my dissatisfaction with their service provider. All it would have taken to fix this would have been someone say hey sorry we miscommunicated and what can we do to fix this.

Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Sends a rookie technician to my house 3 times and does not know how to properly troubleshoot a simple 7 component dryer. The original issue was the dryer turned on went through the dryer cycle but did not spin the drum. First I'm told it "could be a PCB board or Switch". I instructed the tech that he could test to see if they were getting power by using a multi-meter. He never tested voltage to either device. Next time he came out he said it wasn't either the of parts that were the issue but "could be the motor". Again, he didn't test to see if any voltage was making it to the motor. He then comes out with a new motor and that still does not fix the issue. He then states "it could be the thermal fuse" but again, does not test the voltage on the fuse. Today, a new tech comes out and says the motor is bad and so it the wiring harness (go figure, now they are trying to recover money for sending a tech there 3 times who didn't fix anything). I asked to speak to the supervisor. Soon as the guy gets on the phone I ask him what is going on and why can't a tech properly diagnose my dryer. He replies with "Well you have very complex and difficult dryer". I asked him "Can you define "difficult" because the dryer only has 7 working parts, a PCB board, Belt, Motor, Thermal fuse, Safety belt switch, drum and temp sensor". He then starts to define the word "difficult" in a very condescending tone. I asked him to stop talking down to me and he still continues to define the word and then proceeds to hang up. Bottom line, worst company ever to deal with. I will be making Samsung aware of all the issues I've and with them including how they don't tell you a time until the day of. I'll also be sending Samsung all the recorded calls so they can see what kind of a company is represent Samsung.

I had an appointment this evening with one of your technicians this afternoon. Michael Baker was prompt and professional, communicated clearly and worked quickly. He has been out to our home on several occasions via Samsung s request for a refrigerator repair and has been great every time!

Service Tech Emmanuel is awesome! Very clean, polite, professional! Very happy with the service he provided. This is the second time he had come out for our fridge, I feel very confided that our fridge will not need him anymore. Wish our company could find such professional service people. This company is terrible. Either Samsung don t pay them right or employees have issues at home which they bring them to work. These are bunch WUSS that Samsung hired to do fix things. I wish I would ve seen other ppls review b4 I bought Samsung product. Never again Samsung just because of who they have contract with to fix things. Came to fix washer, first it needs to be un stacked , then it needs to be more room to work with, then he needs air conditioning room, then he needs chair to sit down, then he needs fan, then he needs to be fed, then someone need me to sing lullabies, on and on and on... then he doesn t have the parts and I told him to wait and see what Samsung say .. this fool just left without letting us know.

I don't normally leave reviews but I had an issue with my Samsung TV and the technician Sean came and replaced/fixed my TV within 30 minutes he was in and out, very nice guy. I had to wait about 2 weeks for him but it wasnt the companies fault (hurricane Irma decided to pay Florida a visit). Reading other reviews I was super nervous but nothing negative I read happened to me. I guess I was lucky as im sure each case is different. Thanks again!

Don t bother with this place. Zero communication from then, first appointment, I had to call at noon to be told that it s canceled. Second time they couldn t find it in the system and that I have to reschedule. Only after asking for a supervisor, they miraculously find it in the system. This place is a joke. Only Lance, the technician has good customer service skills. And for all that they charged $320 including new ice maker. 10 min job.

Leon from the Ocala office was here today to service our 'under warranty' Samsung dryer today. He was professional and fixed our issue in less than 5 minutes! Wish all of our service calls with other companies went as well as this company! Thanks Leon and Thanks Lakes Electronics!

The staff answering the phones are extremely rude. You are "asked" to hold when you are placed on hold before you can even say anything. I was on hold for a long time then hung up on to have to call back and be placed on hold without even explaining I was disconnected. The lady I spoke to was EXTREMELY unprofessional, gave me attitude and talked over me. I asked to speak to a manager and she put up a fight. I called back to speak to someone else and the same lady intercepted the call when I no longer wanted to speak to her as she was so rude and out of line. I have called Samsung and requested a new vendor and provided my feedback of Lakes Electronics. I asked Samsung to take a peek on the Google reviews as they are horrid. I have waited 2 weeks for this appointment to now have to cancel. Very disappointed I'm shocked they still have a contract with Samsung, even more shocked that this company is even open and making money. If you can avoid I would do so at ALL COST. -A girl who just wanted to watch her new TV

Hands down the BEST customer service experience I have ever received thanks to Nathalie. I was advised I had my Samsung warranty and then given a runaround, until finally Nathalie took the time to explain to me how it works, and everything was taken care of. One star is to much. Positively the worst and most unprofessional vendor I have ever experienced. As a property manager, with hundreds of vendors across the state of Florida, I can positively say that you should not endeavor to choose Lakes Electronics. They hang up the phone, don t call back, cancel appointments, send techs out without appointments and outright lie. Beyond that they are incompetent to say the least. Check the Better Business Bureau and read all the complaints of you do not believe me. Bottom of the barrel.

Absolutely horrific customer service. The 'operator' on the phone has zero social skills and is absolutely stupid. They pick up the phone asking you questions, put you on hold, then ask questions again, then put you on hold. When you are finally directed to another person the sassy dude tells you he has no idea who the girl was they were just an operator. WHAT!?!?!?!?! What a crime that Samsung is sending so much business here. Definitely calling Samsung to find another place to send business.

This company was referred to me by Samsung. It took them several days (almost 2 weeks) to get back to me. They called me and told me to wait for a tech to call between 8-10 AM. The tech never called, I had to call at around 5:00 PM and was told not to worry a part was ordered and an appointment could be scheduled. They schedule an appointment and ordered parts with out diagnosing problem. They then told me the tech would be here that day between 8-10 AM. The tech called at 10:50 AM and said he will be here between 3-5 PM. The tech was also late showed up close to 6:00 PM. This has to be one of the most unorganized companies NATIONWIDE. I really don t know how they are still in business. Their front end staff are very rude, do not take responsibility for tbeir actions and to remedy a solution they don t even apologize for their negligence. If you have a choice choose someone else.

Called for Samsung TV .. The repair person showed late.. took one look at my tv and said he could not touch it because it was hanging on the wall.. Would not wait for 5 minutes so I could take it down.. Said he was too busy and walked out.. When their person called to make the appointment , they never mentioned that it had to be taken down from the wall (I would have done so..) Just seemed the repair guy was completely disinterested in giving me customer service or helping in any way.. What a lousy company.. Don't use them..

Had an issue with my Washer lights not working on my Samsung Washer. Called into Samsung and had some issues getting them out since we bought the house with the washer installed and didnt have a receipt. Finally got them to approve. They sent the work order to Lakes Electronics and within 48 hours, my washer is working like brand new. Benito came out to the house. Very professional and extremely friendly. Quickly fixed the problem and gave some pointers on keeping the washer in good working order. Never felt like he was talking down to me, rather teaching. Hats off to Lakeside and Benito. Thanks!

Worst company ever. Do not assume their error. Blame customer. Came 4 times to fix ice maker that still don t work. End up with a 5000$ fridge not working. Lost all the food. If I could choose not to give them any stars I would!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The technician that was supposed to show up between the hours of 12:30 - 2:30. I left work and waited and waited... He never showed and then blamed it on the fact my husband did not call him back to confirm the appointment! However, he did call and he did confirm! AGAIN WORST SERVICE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I wish I could post the voicemails he left us just so everyone really knows how bad they are!!!

I would request a different company to do business with. This company doesn't show they care about customers they support for Samsung appliances. Do not call within 3 business days of Samsung warranty repair ticket. Then their scheduling of service is subpar having to call three times as they called to advise part was not in but no one then reaches out with rescheduling when part does arrive. Suddenly a service technician calls and is on his way out of the blue and have to advise him we are not home. We discuss returning the next morning and he doesn't show up and no phone call/text advising we were not placed on his route. Come to find out he cannot make scheduling decisions. The lady answering phone and scheduling is rude, short, and not forthcoming to possibly accommodate a customer's timeframe (morning or afternoon) request. Sad to see a 1970's company not have decency customer service & care. Samsung should be ashamed to partner up with them.

Zach the tec. that came to the house is the best ,,,,in all my years of being a home owner and the amount of repairs that I have had done I have never seen someone that was so professional and so good at their job. He was amazing at his craft, fixed the problem and did it with class. He should be training other that follow in his field behind him .

Called Samsung for a warranty issue last Thursday. Next day I received a message from Lake electronics informing a technician would be at my place on Monday. Like they said technician ( Jose Valle) was here at 11.00 am and within 5 minutes detected the problem. He made a phone call and said to me that he will be here with the replacement part next day. He left my place an hour ago I am very happy with the service but also very happy with Jose who took his time to explain me the causes of the problem and how to avoid it to happen again. Thank you very much for such response, Manny. May 1st 2019

I can assure you that ANY positive comment posted for this retailer/service center has been influenced in some way, be it some sort of financial kickback, or personal business relationship. This company does not even deserve 1 star. After being handed over to them by Samsung support (as many reviews here have), my short few days of dealing with them have been nothing less than mind numbing. I read the reviews...I gave them the benefit of the doubt...I was extremely courteous on the phone to them. Where did it get me? Zero phone call from them to schedule (I had to call them). I then had to email them a receipt for a 1 month old $4,000 TV, because they told me its 'out of warranty'. I then sat around all day waiting on a service tech until 7pm, calling their inattentive dispatcher, only for a no-call no show of a tech. I call the next day and find out I was never scheduled to begin with. This place is lucky I live 2 hours from them in Orlando, otherwise I'd be at their store front this morning demanding to speak to the owner. However, from reading the other reviews, dating back several years...I probably wouldn't get very far. The success of a business only begins with the owner, but ultimately ends with the people they choose to employ. In this case, I've received better customer service from the greeter at the front door of a Walmart.

I was taken aback by Lakes Electronic's lack of professionalism. Samsung assigned Lakes Electronics to diagnose and repair my refrigerator. It took 12 business days and 8 calls to a very rude Front desk lady for them to come diagnose the issue. (Each time I called Lakes Electronics, it felt like I was at the courthouse trying to pay a fine). When the two technicians arrived, they were nice but I had to remind one of them to keep his mask on. They said parts would need to be replaced and they would return. I called several times to schedule but the rude lady in scheduling was always on break or not available. Finally, I called Samsung to have lakes electronics honor their promise to return with parts but the complaint must have upset them because they now refuse to service me. Their excuse was that they no longer service my area even though I live 8 miles away from their building. The manager refused to come to the phone and speak with me. I decided not to post the names of the rude and unprofessional staff of lakes electronics because with the exception of one technician, all were unpleasant and unprofessional. Shame on you lakes electronics of Pompano Beach.

This place is absolutely awful! I had received a call from Stephanie on Friday stating that a service repair man named Ryan would call me on Monday 10/19/2020 between 8-9 am to let me know what time he would be arriving (a 2 hour window) that day for service to my Samsung TV. I then missed a call from them about an hour later. I attempted to call back 2 times that same day and was on hold for over 20 minutes both times and never got to speak to anyone. I never got a call on Monday and about 11 I decided to call the main store. When I called i was immediately put on hold for 5 minutes, then the lady (who did not identify herself) said that the person (again no name) I needed to speak with was on the phone and to try back. Then she hung up did not even wait for me to respond. I called back and got the same lady (again no name) I explained that Id like to leave a message for whomever I needed to speak with she put my on hold for over 5 minutes again but this time just hung up on me instead of transferring to a voice mail or taking my number. I called back and asked for her name Clemencia and then I asked for supervisor which I was told both of them were too busy to talk to me. I called back because i still needed to find out where the tech was that was supposed to come to my home for the repair and I spoke to someone who basically told me that she tried to call me back but because I didnt answer she closed my ticket..... I said you didnt leave me a message and when I called back on Friday 10/16 i sat on hold for over 20 minutes each time. Why did you not leave a message she said that I should have called back ..... um hello I did but you couldnt be bothered to speak with me. Come to find out the ticket was closed because their repair tech said the parts to fix my TV are unavailable (how does he even know that??? he never came to my house or talked to me) and that I'd have to call Samsung back. I asked for her manager she said one was out to lunch the other was on a call but she would have him call me back..... never happened which is why im here. I hat leaving poor reviews but this company has a very low standard for how their employees treat customers and it justifies unbelievably rude comments by saying that the customer should have done XYZ. I hope that whoever watches this company's reviews alerts the management apparently their names are Rory and Matt to the poor job they are doing training employees and allowing their team to treat people and customers this horribly.

My Samsung refrigerator's ice maker needed repair. Samsung agreed to cover parts and I would be responsible for labor costs. I agreed and Ssung stated Lakes Electronics would be contacting me within two business days to set up an appointment. Five business days pass, I received no appointment call from Lakes Electronics. I contact them directly and speak to Betty. She informed me I had to pay $99 up front for them to diagnose the problem and then labor would be extra. I asked how much their hourly labor rate was and she would not give me an answer. I explained to her what parts were to be replaced and Samsung agreed to repair those parts and she still would not give me a price of the cost of labor. I asked for a supervisor which I was transferred to Matt. Matt stated the same as Betty and would tell me how much it would be the replace the ice maker. Matt finally stated "if I have to put a number on it today, then at least $400". Matt did not know what the parts were I was speaking of and stating he was in charge of the technicians but he knew "a little" about the the parts I spoke of. Matt eventually hung up on my call without scheduling an appointment. I called Samsung back and explained. Samsung stated they would cover labor as well as parts so there was no further problems. I called Lakes Electronics back and spoke to Betty. Betty informed me that Matt stated they will be refusing to perform the repair. I explained they were the only company Samsung stated that performed warranty repairs in the area and they still refused to handle the Samsung repair ticket. I asked for Matt's supervisor and was left on hold for 25 minute with no answer. I could hear the line pick up and place me on hold again every 10 minutes. I spent over 6 hours on the phone to try to get my ice maker repaired and this is unacceptable. In my opinion, once Lake Electronics found out Samsung was covering any cost of the repair they were going to try to upcharge me on labor and when they were informed Samsung would cover the labor, they didn't want to perform the repair. Please rate this business accordingly so future consumers will be warned.

I called in to get a quote on a repair; The person whom I spoke with was very impatient and annoyed by me even asking for a quote. It felt like a scam. He told me "there's a $50 fee to look at the unit that's non refundable" this price was made based on the price of the unit aka the msrp when then unit was still purchasable new. Meaning if someone comes with the same problem by the same manufacturer but their product was cheaper they get a cheaper "diagnosis price" which in my opinion is not fair at all. Then he told me he could quote me a price even though I told him the exact problem since I personally caused the damage. For a business that specializes in electronics repairs to have zero clue of much something would cost but they can price my "diagnosis fee" based on the cost of my unit BRAND NEW, I would have to say this is not pro consumer trust worthy business. This place has poor reviews everywhere, I would call around for better expectations.

Had a warranty issue with a brand new dishwasher. Moved into new home and dishwasher seal is not sealing because of a small dent in the interior of the door. Physical damage and no proof of whom did it etc. Thus not covered under warranty or home warranty.....Had to buy a new door..this was three weeks ago. The Technician was very kind but did state the door would take a week to get in but will have it repaired right away. Three weeks later, no door but my credit card was of course charged for the door the day I ordered it. And after several calls to Lake Electronics -no resolution. They see my charge but only "andrew" can tell me status of the door -however he hasnt returned any calls nor been avail with my calls. As of yesterday, I have left my technician two voice mails and Andrew at least two and spoken to three different ladies. No resolution. I have emailed today and hope my plea for help ends up in the right persons hands to resolve this issue. It would be great to have a dishwasher I can use and more importantly, would be great to have resolution so that I can revise my review. So for now, my advice- don't use Lakes Electronics ....if and when this matter is resolved, I will of course update my review accordingly. I know things happen and I expect is communication. Business' can prevent poor reviews if they just communicate with the customer...it is so simple. If they forgot to order my part-just say that and lets move on. Stop with the avoidance.

What a rip off! I wish I read the reviews before calling them, my oven still needs repair and I'm out $99. I can't believe Samsung refers customers to this service and I will not be purchasing another Samsung appliance.

Lousy, lousy, lousy service. I can't speak about the quality of repair work because I can't even get that far! I was 'assigned' this company as a third party repair from Samsung for my fridge. They first got my appointment date wrong so I wasted a day home from work. When I asked to speak to the supervisor/mgr. they just left me on hold. When I hung up and called back they would answer and hang up. Just totally unprofessional. When the games stopped and I was able to reschedule the day came and no one showed up and when I called again it just rings and rings. Horrible!! do not fall for this hack of a company. Less than 1 star if I could rate it so.

Believe the other reviews, this place is garbage. The customer service is terrible and extremely rude. I recently had a problem with a washing machine and the technician came in first of all very late, with attitude, and had no intention of listening to me trying to explain the problem. The technician believed he had all the answers and knew how to fix it, and even to this day its still not fixed. No wonder they can o only afford one technician.

The people in adminstration at Lakes Electronics have absolutely no clue what they were doing with the EXCEPTION of a gentleman name Lance, who is one of the technician there. Administration kept giving me the run around and once I told them I made a complaint that is when they started to be more knowledgeable of what I was asking them to do. I had called Samsung to make several complaints and they advised me the call was being recorded. Now, to the technician Lance, he was ABSOLUTELY helpful and he defused the problem. He knew what he was doing and he was VERY respectful. Very nice personality and REALLY knows how to COMMUNICATE with people! BECAUSE of Lance I am giving this company a 5 star rating, otherwise it would have gotten a big fat zero!!! THANK YOU LANCE!!!!

After contacting Samsung for a warranty claim, they referred my claim to Lakes Electronics. The service was prompt and very professional. They were on time, as scheduled. James Tidwell, the technician assigned to my job was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable of the brand and machine.

Don t use this company. I was forced to call them by Samsung. An appointment was scheduled by Samsung and I never heard from them Called Samsung and was told Lakes canceled the appointment. Called them myself and spoke to their extremely incompetent office women who was very rude. Told me no one could come out to my area for a week and a half. Today was the appt. no call. I called the rude woman again and she had made the wrong date and said they called and I never returned call. Absolutely a lie. If I could I would give no star!!!!

im so glad i read the reviews. Like everyone else samsung referred me to place. I called and was treated extremely rudely on the phone, i ended up telling them i would call samsung back and have someone else do the work. I then read the reviews here on google and boy am i glad i made this decision. Samsung had no issue changing to a different provider.

Worst customer service ever. They came out. We paid them for the call. They said they would be back on Wednesday. We cleaned out our entire freezer because they told us to. No one showed up. Called several times that day but the person who was handling our ticket never returned our call. Called back the next day, same thing. Operator took my number AGAIN. They had a full day to return our call. Nothing. And on top of it the person handeling the calls kept putting me on hold every 3 seconds like it s a joke to these people. The technician who came out was very nice. It s not his fault. They just don t have it together in the office at all.

Awful customer service and overall poor service from them. The woman who answered the phone was argumentative and talked down to me on several occasions. They came to do the repair without any of the necessary tools to fix the ice maker after detailing out the issue with Samsung and Lakes Electronics. I was using a Samsung warranty item and decided to go with another company and pay them directly. They fixed the ice maker in 15 minutes. Lakes Electronics definitely needs to do some intense Customer Service and Servitude Training for their team. Good luck when using them!

Latisha, a poor customer service representative, provided horrible service over the phone to the extreme that I sought assistance from a completely different service provider. Did not communicate efficiently enough to establish trust in this companies services. I recommend seeking an alternative electronics service company that is more adequately prepared to assist their customers.
