Wish I could put zero stars. Absolutely horrible customer service from "Shay," the telephone customer representative. She was the most abhorrently rude person I've encountered - initially putting me on hold for 20 minutes, then constantly interrupting me, not allowing me to explain the problem, and essentially threatening me that even if they were going to send a service representative back out, that she would intentionally intervene in that request and delay getting a technician out. She then proceeded to tell me everything was "being recorded" which I was glad to hear, in the hopes that her manager will actually listen to how she speaks to customers. (In case management is interested in reviewing for quality control, this phone call occurred 7/22/19 at approximately 12:00 noon.)

I originally posted a positive review of the service technician who came to fix my ice maker 3 months ago. However, the same problem recently started recurring which is why I called to see if they can come back to fix the problem, only to be told that I am now 4 days past the 90 day warranty and there is nothing they can do about it. Shay would not give me the opportunity to speak with a manager to try to resolve the issue and instead said I need to go back to Samsung to get an extension on the warranty. Lakes Electronics should take responsibility for their poor workmanship instead of trying to pass the buck.

Victor showed up on time and explained everything that was going on (or not) with my dryer. He even volunteered to work on Saturday to ensure I didn't have to wait another week before I could do laundry. He was very professional and I'm happy with the service he provided.

My Samsung 55" TV has a bad display under the manufacturer warranty, they relay on Lakes electronics to serviced my tv set, the call me and the tech was in my house the very next day and successfully change the display on matters of minutes, I don't have the technician name but he was very professional . Im so happy with the service from Lakes and also Samsung for the fast action. Thanks

Our Samsung refrigerator was leaking water interna...

Our Samsung refrigerator was leaking water internally. I contacted Samsung and they called Lake Electronics to do the repair.
The technician was at my house twice. The first time he was at the house was to inspect the refrigerator and order the parts(10 Minutes).
The second time he was at the house for less than an hour and repaired the refrigerator. Lakes Electronics does not charge an hourly rate for labor but instead, they charge based on the complexity of the repair.
My suggestion is to get an upfront cost for the labor to fix your appliance so there won't be any surprises. The refrigerator is working fine. I gave Lake Electronics four stars because I believe any company can always improve somewhat.

Samsung arranged to repair my TV after the HDMI inputs failed. I spoke to Tiffany who told me the last appt was after 3. I told them at the time I cannot answer my phone during work. I arranged to take the afternoon off work for the service. The call from the tech came at 9:45am and as I stated, i could not answer it. I called back and texted but the call went to voicemail and the text remained unanswered. I finally called Lakes at 4 and was told that because i did not answer, the tech left the area and i would have to reschedule. I reminded Tiffany that my appointment was after 3 and was told " I would never say that". Disgusting customer service. If you have a samsung product and have no choice but to deal with these people, record your call because they will lie and deny.

Update: They rearranged for the Monday after Thanksgiving and I had to take the day off. The technician was polite and very quick. The TV is now fixed.

I don t know why they have bad reviews but people are quicker to give bad reviews then good ones. The receptionist lady was super nice and patient with all my questions. My technicians were Wally and Chris and omg were they amazing! They were friendly, funny and very professional. I hope nothing happens to my TV again lol but definitely would recommend them!!!

He was early to the appointment and very quick to replace the defective ice maker - even taking the time to show me on the unit the difference in design between the old and the new. He took care to be neat and considerate of our home and it was a very pleasant experience overall.

came to my house and was very rude letting me know he had multiple service calls he has to attend to, than took the washing machine apart all electronics were out all for a replacement cover, he could not get it off made multiple comments about samsung complaining about how he had other service calls to make, than says he has to leave he had no time to fix it and that I should call samsung and have someone else come out because his boss will tell him not to come back. Left me a dirty floor and screws that were not put back as well as chips on my tile from him pulling it out of the wash room. I went to use my machine and now it reads 1E, to mention this was a service call to replace the cover, now I have a issue with my machine and it will not work due to his carelessness and not putting things back were they should be. I called Samsung as instructed by the service man and told them what happen...not even 10 minutes after calling samsung the service man had the nerve to call me and ask me why I gave him a bad reveiew!!! I am not one for writing reviews but this was the worst experience I ever ever had ever!!!

I had to call them numerous times just to get to talk to someone. Put on hold, got cut off and put on hold for over 20 minutes. Then wouldn t come out for a week to do the repair. Unprofessional in every aspect of running a business.

Not sure why this place is always so busy. Everytime I call I'm told to hold, I'm holding for like 3 mins then I get directed to someone else because apparently it's an operator answering calls that can't even answer a simple question like hours of operation (not the reason I called) I just tried to get something out of him. I hope samsung does not use these people again for the next time I have an issue with my tv.

Jorge the service Tech was rude on the phone to my wife and had a bad attitude as soon as he arrived. He replaced our Samsung refrig. icemaker. and did not seal it properly. Shortly after going out of warranty the icemaker has the same issue (freezing up and not making ice).We called to report the issue but they would not cover poor workmanship after the warranty 90 day warranty period.

We had an extended warranty through Lowe's and we were at their mercy, but luckily, the repairman, Orlando, from Lakes Electronics, was fantastic! He was very punctual and knowledgeable. Orlando explained everything in great detail and gave me all my options. I would definetely recommend them. Ask for Orlando!

Don't even bother putting a ticket through Samsung, and good luck if you get it assigned to Lakes Electronics. 48 hours later, not even a call. When you call Lakes, they don't even want to help. This company has no idea what customer service is, and the impact that a broken major appliance has on a household. Called an alternate company and got services the same day.

Greg did a great job on a repair and while working, was able to explain some of the features of my smart appliance. Not only is it working like new but better going forward having learned a couple of tips!

This was a Samsung Warranty repair and though I did not get to chose my repairman in the future, when I have a repair that is out of warranty I will call Lakes Electronics.

My tv had turned black, no photo no sound, just black... it was professionally mounted on the wall, in which it was never touched nor did it fall... on nov 1st I contacted Samsung's warranty dept. Then nov 4th a tech that was most definitely on high on some sort of drugs,came to my home, high, and extremely hyper, talkative, pupils were so big I couldn't see the color of his actual iris, manhandled my tv, breaking the screen in the process, . He then laughed and said "well this voids the warranty,", as he took a photo of my now completely broken 58 inch tv. I spent 6 hr and 43 mins total, on the phone with samsung.. being passed from one person to the next, hung up on.... alot.. put on hold.... several times... then when they came back on the line, it was either to check to see if I was still holding, or to tell me to hold again... I'm furious.....

Total Rip off scam, DO NOT USE THEM !!! Samsung refers then as the only repair place in area and they charge $99.00 to gives a estimate, they also refuse to give a estimate on a repair even if you know what is wrong with unit.
The office staff says they can give a estimate over the phone only if I pay the $99.00 fee Via Credit card.

Absolutely HORRIBLE Company ,Terrible customer service,Very poor customer service, extremely slow and always rude on the phone.

Lakes Electronics is ridiculous company and after reading all of the reviews from Samsung customers I do not know how they are still a service repair center for samsung, Think that should tell us something, like its a two party SCAM company?
IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE THE REVIEWS THEN CALL Lakes Electronics for service like I Did. I should looked for reviews before wasting time, That is what prompted me to go write a review.

This company is the worse. Very unprofessional, rude staff. I had an appointment scheduled, after waited the whole day. I called them at 5:15p to check on the status of my appointment. The lady, who answered the phone asked me to take a picture of the tv screen and forward it to her. I asked, don t have have all the information needed from Samson, she replied we need to order the proper equipment for your TV. Mind you that it is 5:15p and my appointment is that same day. So, I said to her, my appointment is today, are you not coming and she said no, not today. So upset with Samson, this company is also making them look bad. Lesson learned

Purchased a Samsung microwave in December 2016. In...

Purchased a Samsung microwave in December 2016. In April 2017 it started to only heat up the food sometimes. I waited a week to see if the problem continued before I called Samsung. I called Samsung on Tuesday and they told me that Lakes Electronics would be doing the repair. I received a confirmation email of my phone call from Samsung and a 2nd email from Samsung that Lakes Electronics had accepted my work order ticket. I also received a call from Yvonne at Lakes to schedule the appointment for the following Monday. However, on the Friday before the appointment, Yvonne called to let me know that the parts had to be ordered and would be in on Monday afternoon, so my appointment was rescheduled for Tuesday. So it was 1 week from initial phone call to service appointment. Not a problem for me. Charlie was my repair technician. He called in the morning with his arrival window, and showed up on time. He took precautions to protect my Samsung slide-in range before he started to work on the microwave. He changed out the mag tube and it is working fine. Then he evened up the doors on my Samsung French Door refrigerator without me even asking. Those uneven doors have bothered me since the day Lowes of Vero Beach installed the fridge. So thank you. And he tightened up one of the handles that was starting to loosen up. (Those 2 things took less than a minute, but what great customer service!) He was very nice and did a great job.

The technician they sent out was the most unfriendly person I have ever encountered with a company that is supposed to be providing a service. He had a chip on his shoulder from the minute he walked through the door and extremely unprofessional.

Not too mention Lake Electronics gave me the run around to file a claim because the employees did not want to do what was necessary to help me through the process. They did everything they could to put me off. I hate that with the extended warranty through Samsung I am left with no choice to deal with these people should another problem arise. I really don't know how they are still in business with the poor customer service.

Samsung sent Lakes Electronics to service my TV and this company was not helpful. The technician gave me a window of service between 2:00-4:00 and I said I was available at 3:30. The technician explained my apartment building makes it "difficult" to provide service after 3pm, and although he could still come, he requested if he could change the service appointment to a different day at the same time. I said OK. The appointment is confirmed with technician and the company later that day. However, I receive another call by the company explaining they had to decline service because "i missed my appointment and was not available at the window provided." I complained and said I was available but the technician chose not to come and requested to reschedule. I even explained I called back to say I was available at 2:30 but the technician said he left my area and traffic would make it difficult to return but he promised to come at the new confirmed appointment time. The technician was friendly, but the woman at the company was not. She was very unhelpful and insisted I was unavailable at the time of service so they declined my request and asked me to call Samsung and choose a different company for service. Terrible experience. If Samsung pairs you with this company, say NO and ask for a different company.

I have a hard time understanding why Samsung still has this company as one of their appliance repair sub-contractors. They give you the runaround time and again, claiming the part hasn't come in yet. When they do book an appointment, they do it for the day they want and not the date Samsung originally scheduled. Not to mention the timeframe for the appointment: some girl by the name of Alejandra tells me they only give the timeframe on the day of the appointment. I took the day off from work and guess what, they never called or showed up. I called Samsung back and had them assign a different repair company. If your appliance manufacturer gives you an appointment with this company, save yourself some trouble and tell them you want a different company.

I was referred to them as an authorized service center for Samsung. I've tried calling 1,000 times and nobody answers the phone. When someone finally answered I was put on hold for 30 minutes to be told that I would get a call back within 24 hours. NOBODY HAS CALLED BACK AND ITS 5 DAYS LATER. I tried calling again today and the same thing happened. Put on hold for 30 minutes and then hung up the phone. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH ANYTHING.

Worst service I have ever encountered. First scheduled for Tuesday, which they had input they day wrong in their computer. So sat home waiting for someone to show. Had to wait till Friday with a broken refrigerator. They came up with an error code on their computer but said that was not the problem and did not need to be fixed. Charged 330 to replace a sensor. The part cost 20 dollars the labor 300 for less than 45 minutes of work he spent more time coming up with that estimate. He gives his cell saying if any issues call him as he will solve it. Well two hours later refrigerator still not working and food is warm. Of course no answer. Same error showing up on my screen showing the refrigerator is not properly cooled. So honestly technician did nothing. Only hire them if you want to be scammed. I will be disputing this charge as they did not fix anything.

The experience during this process is horrible. Its been about a month now, and despite their lack of initia required communication 48 to 72hrs after apparently "pseudoscheduling" via Samsung service request site, no one has made reasonable effort to either come when scheduled (on day I have to take unpaid off). I am a Healthcare worker so I can't just wait around all day every time company decides to schedule without confirming if the day will work for me. I also have a baby and have not been able to wash and dry clothes properly . Still no dryer despite company being "the only company in my area contracted to repair the appliance" They basically told me sorry there's nothing we can do. I am stuck without a working dryer and these people are supposed to repair under warranty

A service company is represented by their employees performance, it s a shame that the technician SANTANA be unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. I made my service appt through Samsung, Samsung sent me more than one email confirmation of my appointment date and time and Santana called me yelling at 10am that my appt said 11am, I was at work and explained to him that the appt I made was for 4pm and he screamed again that he didn t know who sent me the email but his company never said the customer a time, they just called few hours before and he was just interested to know if I want to cancel my appt. He was rude and disrespectful all the time during our conversation. I had to insist a lot for him to give me the company info. Samsung should not subcontract a company like that.

Do your research and find a better company. I was forced by Lowe s (now shopping elsewhere) to use this company. Since the beginning of November and 4 trips to my home and the issue is still not resolved. The customer service is terrible and only argues when we are trying to get answers or responses. Still awaiting contact from the owner or manager and I will update if they ever contact me but based on service so far it s doubtful.

He went above and beyond for our repair and was always prompt and professional! Natalie in customer service was fabulous as well always keeping me in the loop about parts and for scheduling! Highly recommended!

After an hour on hold call drops and when I call back someone answers and throws me immediately on hold. Finally when I was able to book an appointment I had to wait 3 weeks only to then 2 days before the appointment be told that now they don't have a technicians for A MONTH! Don't use this company there are plenty of other appliance repair companies that would appreciate your business.

Lakes was assigned to me by my extended warranty company. I had a repair appointment set up for 4 days in advance. Afternoon of the appointed day I get a call from someone at Lakes that no one will be coming and I need to setup a new appointment for the following week. WHAT? Nope. I stayed home all day for nothing. Called my Warranty company and got a different appliance repair shop assigned to me. Don't want to work with a company that treats people that way.

To begin with extremely rude person on phone when trying to set repair service appointment. She thought she knew more than a service tech. She had the authorization from Samsung in front of her stating it was approved and she still arguing with me whether it was going to be fixed or not. Never got and appointment and she hung up on me. This is the Fort Myers office. WHO EVER OWNS Lakes Electronics should take a good look at his/her staff, as they are dragging this business down the drain. I will never buy Samsung again if they continue to use Lakes Electronics. COSTUMER BEWARE!

Technician came out on a warranty call from Samsun...

Technician came out on a warranty call from Samsung.Micro/convection was making a noise when convection was turned on. Technician had to uninstall the micro/convection unit from the wall/cabinets and then placed unit on dining table and replaced the damaged part. Reinstalled micro/convection. turned on micro and unit now makes a completely different noise. He never even tested the convection part he replaced and it does not work at all. Technician claims the unit was damaged and that is why it does not work. Of course this is AFTER he uninstalled the unit, worked on it and then reinstalled it. Now we have to battle with Samsung on a $600.00 micro/convection to come fix what this technician damaged because he is lying to protect his ass. Don't know why Samsung continues to use this company with the bad ratings. If I cannot get Samsung to come fix their product damaged by their technician they hired I will be suing the company they hired for damaging the unit. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Our technician came out at the end of the time win...

Our technician came out at the end of the time window, worked on the dishwasher for an hour, then told us to wait a day to try it. After the day, not only was the dishwasher still broken (the error light was still flashing), but now when we pull the bottom rack out, the dishwasher falls forward out of its cabinet. So basically, we're worse off than we were before.

Will revise review if issue is resolved satisfactorily.

This company is terrible take your business somewhere else , i called to confirm y appointment for the coming Thursday i dial the phone ring a lady answer with please wait....i waited 30 minute i try again the same thing put me on hold waited 30 minute try 3rd time i call the same hold for 25 minute more then when i confronted she start yelling and she replay she did not have an opening until Monday and when i said Samsung people toll me you have an opening for me this Thursday and shy comment they don't know and she change from Monday to Friday but the way shy talk to me .....i did take the appointment !

The most disorganized company I've come across and completely unhelpful. Can't find your ticket, say that you need to reopen a ticket with the manufacturer, can't work out scheduling, can't reach them, send the repair guy without the necessary parts, close your ticket because you didn't respond within 2 days and completely inflexible. THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER. I am making my displeasure known on any and every message board and am doing so directly with the manufacturer as well.

Terrible customer service. Call for appointment, scheduled it, waited for tech, never showed up nor called me, wasted a days pay. I reached out to them to find out what happened was put on hold by rude operator.Eventually i spoke to the samsung account manager. Turned out he also doesn't know anything either. Switched over to the dispatcher rescheduled another appointment by them with a priority on the following week between 9-10 am with a call from the tech. Never received call and only after waiting several more hours i reached out to them. They told me that my appointment was now at 5-7PM on my day off. A bunch of liars. Don't waste your money or time on this outfit. Samsung is crazy to use this company to support there products. Find a more reputable and reliable service company.

Positive experience, our tech Troy did a great job...

Positive experience, our tech Troy did a great job. He discussed all issues, and actions he was going to take, in a informative and professional manner.
Even when on the phone with Samsung, and giving them the information to complete the service, he was given a response that they would have to call him back "because the guy that knows that stuff is in the bathroom, and will be a while". He kept it professional and discussed alternate ways to fix the problem, while waiting for the call.
I would recommend him, if anyone needed a solid tech for their appliances.

Scheduled a technician on 11/5/2020 to service my washer on 11/17/2020. Lakes Electronics was supposed to confirm the scheduled technician within 48 hours. Finally received a call from Lakes Electronics on 11/19/2020 at 7:30PM. Lakes Electronics claimed that because they didn't service my washer for the recall, they could not schedule a technician to service my washer and the original company would have to service my washer for any future requests. After calling Samsung, the representative informed me that this was untrue.

When the owner of the business takes time to contact you personally to apologize for situations that are really out of his control it says a lot of how a business operates. Andy explained how his business operates logistically, and when you receive an overwhelming amount of service tickets in a certain area from your main contractor. It is to be stressful that service expectations suffer in these uncertain times. Please be patient. Deep down he really is professional.

We must be dreaming...Lake Electronics actually ordered a part to BRING with LarryJohnston and CALLED us to set up the appointment! Larry Johnston was a pleasure to have as our repairman. He was prompt, courteous and explained what he had done. It was a Samsung warranty issue and hopefully, it is resolved.

Amazing service!

A super smart technician named Vijay showed up right on time! He had an outstanding, professional attitude and appearance.

He fixed my 65" Samsung 4K TV (Q60r model) with ease! Super polite as well!

Too bad you can't leave a review with zero stars. The worst ever. RUN!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They do not pay their employees overtime so the technician rushed through the job, couldn't finish because he was worried about not getting paid and then left my dishwasher arcing power and almost burned my house down. That's wage theft and no different than the employee stealing out of the register plus it leaves a liability on the job site because technicians are rushed. When I called in to customer service I couldn't get ahold of anyone, took me 4 days and 16 calls, no exaggeration to finally get a rude operator and the most unprofessional customer service manager I have ever dealt with. Literally the worst. He refused to put me on with his manager and said he was the top. Well Rory when your bosses read this review I hope they put you back to the bottom where you belong in the customer service arena. I gave you a chance to rectify things but your inflated ego and pompous attitude wouldn't let you. If you are a customer and need service, call Samsung and tell them to send UbreakIFix. Those guys are super professional and very courteous plus they know their stuff.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY!! I hate that I have to give them 1 star because they are not even worth that, never in my life have I experienced that level of disrespect, they took my money and did not fix anything. RORY the manager, did not care about or try at least to help me fix my problem. they sent ABRAHAM their technician to fix it but he came to my house and didn't ask what the problem was, I took a video of my washer machine to show the technician and he didn't even care to see it. he just said there was no problem at all, obviously theres a problem ABRAHAM because I still have a lot of water coming out of my machine! overall I can say he was here less than 10 min and did nothing. Now im left with the same problem and they took my money. I hate to waste my time writing reviews because I never do but this I have to write this because the level of this respect from these people got me upset. let me just add that RORY hung up the phone on me while I was talking, he said theres nothing he can do and he was NOT gonna refund my money. I wish I could've read ALL the BAD REVIEWS they have on google and everywhere else apparently before I called them to fix anything. I made a mistake by calling these unprofessional people with no customer service manner so please don't make the same mistake.

It looks like a vast majority of the poor service pertains to appliance service. Maybe they should stick too only electronic repair. I have been trying to get my fridge repaired for a week and a half !!! Called samsung to complain and it did not an ounce of good ! I will never buy anything samsung again !! Worst communication ever !

We have a Samsung refrigerator and freezer. I have had three service calls from other companies and they could not fix the problem. The unit was freezing up and water then drained to the bottom and froze the produce bins in solidly.

The tech was Serafin. He knew the problem, was extremely polite, and installed the factory fix. The fix has now been running for a while, and everything is fine. With all the bad reviews about customer service, you need to turn this great tech into a training manager! Kudos!

I am still waiting to find out when a technician is coming today I received no call as promised between 9 and 10. Poor communication and little organization makes Lake Electronics a company to avoid. But, I had to use them because Samsung uses them.

When I called today I was put on hold by a miserably sounding girl. She came back on and transferred me again to another girl who sounded the same as the first. I learned the technicians were having a problem with parts and they would call me back when they fixed it.

If this was my first experience with Lake Electronics I would be more patient but they were suppose to come out two days ago! The excuse was that the part needed for my refrigerator had not come in yet. How did they know? I did not believe the excuse. An hour later the miserably sounding girl called me to ask what was wrong with my Samsung refrigerator. I rest my case!

Quite possibly the worst customer service I ve eve...

Quite possibly the worst customer service I ve ever received. The tech was scheduled for Thursday, didn t call or show up. The manager or owner whoever he is claimed to have been doing this for 45 years and his pompous and arrogant attitude was insulting and ridiculous. After he proceeded to call my significant other a liar he told me that we were basically out of luck. It is apparent why this company has 3 stars with the Better Business Bureau, google and Facebook. Apparently his 45 years of customer service has led him to a mediocre rating and piss poor conflict resolution skills. I will never deal with this company again and I will be reporting the entire interaction to the BBB, Samsung and Lowe s where I bought the dryer that needed service. I would not trust this company with anything in my home as they obviously do not understand the importance of great customer service.
