Visited this location on our way from antelope canyon/ horseshoe bend to Bryce canyon. Marina is awesome to walk around, sit n enjoy the panoramic views of the lake. U can easily spend an hour or two and will be a time well spent.

The staff service was good and room was fine and the grounds we're beautiful but the facility is old and not up kept 100% in need of updating. The hot tub, suna, and 2/4 woman restrooms were out of order.
At 8 am the cleaning lady knocked all the doors of the building just to check if anyone was inside (?!). You have to pay breakfast to the waiter, not chargeable to the room, remember to take your wallet. Ridiculous management style and kindness is a word nobody knows.
A large resort by Lake Powell, with many rooms offering panoramic views of the canyon and the lake. Modern, clean and well organized environment. On the ground floor of the resort restaurant, the pizzeria is the showroom. The hotel also organizes boat trips on the lake. The rooms are clean and well organized. The parking lot is large and spacious. An ideal place to visit the lake, the village and maybe dine in the characteristic rooms in front of the report.
An older style hotel that has been renovated into a nice place to stay right on Lake Powell. Our two bedroom 'lake view' room had all the basics you'd expect from a run of the mill hotel. decent bathroom, flat screen TV, comfy bed. The black out shades were nice when we were sleeping in. The balcony had two chairs to sit on to overlook the beautiful view we had. We briefly used the hot tub, which was nice, not busy when we were there (mid-May).
We did the Panoramic Lake Powell boat tour. The tour was on a decent boat hard seats on top, cushioned seats but very loud inside. Totally worth it to see lots of the beautiful Lake Powell shoreline. Because the water levels were so low, our 2 hour tour became a 3 hour tour because they couldn't do the normal route, and it seemed to drag on and on after the sun went down.
Be prepared for the NPS National Recreation Site entrance fee before you can even get to the hotel.
Lake Powell is amazing. One of the most beautiful places on Warth and my top 5 places to recreate. Lake Powell Resorts has a monopoly on the hotels, docs, gas, food, ice, and all other services for which they charge exorbint prices for subpar offerings.
It was great to get to see Rainbow bridge, but the boat was in need of attention. The bathroom window glass was hanging dangerously, the child life jackets were stored behind a trash can so you couldn't even read the sign, a seat was missing on top and instead of repairing it a sign was purchased and placed there to prevent use and the deckhands spent most of the trip back from the bridge sitting in the cabin. During the trip back kids were sliding down the stairs and sitting on the steps. There actions were addressed by staff or their parents. The pilot was providing information on the way to the bridge, but the speaker system could not be understood.
We were here for a two-night stop as part of a Grand Canyon bus tour. The room was comfortable enough, the view was lovely, and the grounds were nice. Unfortunately, the food service offerings were atrocious. There was the main Rainbow Room dining room, which was above our pay grade for rather pedestrian sounding food, and a casual fast food place serving overpriced reheated packaged food. It was shoulder season, so nothing else was open and as bus tour patrons we were trapped. Very disappointed.
Sparse internet, nice restaurant choices but the town of Page has many a few minutes away. Many things to do in the area. One person did get bit by a scorpion while we were at the resort, stay on the paths!
The location is worth 5* but the accommodation only 2. So an average of 3 is at his place. We were here off season and service was ok but sluggish. The lake excursion on the other hand expensive but worth every penny.
First thing that needs to be said is that if I could give this place zero stars, I would!! The lake was absolutely beautiful and stargazing was phenomenal, but this company has the worst customer service I've ever experienced anywhere!!
Keep in mind, we booked a 62 Journey houseboat A YEAR in advanced, we called 2 weeks prior to the date of travel to confirm and pay the deposit, we called 1 week prior to ask any questions we had about our accommodations, AND we called 2 days ahead to select our check-in time of 10:30am. There is NO WAY they did not know we were coming. We were told that if we arrived even 15 minutes late, we wouldn't be able to check-in until 12:00pm. The first of our party arrived at 9:00am and the last of our party arrived at 10:00am. Regardless of being on time, we still didn't get our boat until 2pm!! In that time, they gave us a ton of excuses as to why our boat was not ready -- "there isn't enough space at the dock for us to pull up your boat yet", "there's a waterline break", "we're refilling the water", "we're filling up the hot tub", and so on and so on! We unloaded and loaded all of our stuff for a party of 12 to prepare for the ATV's to assist us with taking it all to the dock. Did anyone help us? NO. All of our stuff sat in the sun and got dirt kicked up all over it. We moved all of our stuff to the dock to get the FOOD and belongings out of the sun and got harassed that we weren't following the rules after we specifically asked if it was okay for us to do so.
When we got our boat, we got minimal instruction on how everything worked and basically got told "everything is good to go". However, when we set off on the lake, we realized the stereo wasn't working, hot tub wasn't working, the labels in the breaker did not match what it was supposed to turn on so we had to figure out what switch was for what on our own, and the fuel gauge wasn't working. It was very aggravating to have received such a poorly functioning boat when we spent extra money for many of those amenities!
When we were returning the boat at the end of our trip, the same issues occurred (to say the least!) No one was around to help us at all! 3 people offered to help us move our belongings off the dock to our vehicles, but never came back to do so. When we finally found someone with an ATV to help, we were told they couldn't help is because it was after 5:00pm. As someone who works in a service industry, this is unacceptable. If your patrons are still there, you should be helping them regardless of the time!
For such a popular destination, you'd think they'd be able to run the business like a well-oiled machine. Instead, it was disorganized, they had poor communication, and terrible customer service. We will NEVER attempt to go to Lake Powell using this company again and do NOT recommend that anyone else should either!!
We have been there many times in the past so we were excited to go back. It had been about 3 years. We went in February and the place was mostly empty, even then they refused us a lake view room. Their only response was that's what we have available for you.
The room was poorly maintained. More what I would expect from a 39 a night highway motel. The heater control was broken so it was overly hot the first night, complaining to staff did no good. I fixed it myself before the second night by opening the control and fixing a freyed broken wire. The shower tiles were broken and glued back on with no grout. The shower head was set about 5ft high impossible to get under. There was a security safe on a stand in the middle of the hall in the room blocking 2/3rds of the space.
The place was filthy and dusty like it hadn't been entered in months. When I complained I was blown off and again told that's the only room for us. They claim to be dog friendly but are not.
The first night we noticed a nice fire ring lit in the main area so the second night the wife and I bought a bottle of wine and headed over only to find it was off. When we asked about it they said nobody was there that could light it.
What a wonderful location and amazing view. Sad to see it getting so neglected and run down. Such a shameful thing to see.
One of the best campgrounds I have ever been to. Large spaces with a table, fire ring and BBQ grill. The views of Lake Powell from the campsites are stunning.
A very well-ran facility that caters to an international clientel. Everything is very clean and the staff are very polite and helpful. Lots of activity here. The boat tour around Lake Powell was very professional. Interesting to see a large array of boats.
Decent accommodations. Boat tours are fun and the view is nice. The local restaurants available are mostly casual including the one their floating restaurant.
This is a nice resort but they don't have free wifi in rooms. Even there is no service to most of the sim cards. The only place where there is free wifi is there lounge. Otherwise, this resort is located right beside lake. The view from the resort is good.
The grounds were well kept, the staff was warm, provided great service, and the location absolutely blew me away! Walking distance from gorgeous red sandy beaches near the Marina, I had the most beautiful view of the lake from my balcony. However, a few things made "resort" feel like an overstatement. I read some pretty bad reviews of the food available at the resort so I ate in Page. Ice Machine was out of service. Vending Machines were sold out. Hot tub was not heated and felt a couple degrees warmer than the pool. The internet was so slow I couldn't stream Netflix or load most websites. The bathroom products felt very cheap.
So overall, I had an amazing time and I would definitely stay again. Maybe just don't set your expectations super high and split the room with some friends.
Good place. Very clean. Small refrigerator and coffee machine. Great view of the lake. Comfortable beds and good maintained facilities. Breakfast will cost you 15$ each. No wifi at rooms only at the loby.
A great tour. The crew, especially Mr. Douglas, were wonderful. The only problem were the tourists. Some of the rudest people I have ever been around. The seats were first come seating, however when boarding half of the upper seats were vacant but being saved. One jerk and his wife from Minnesota cursed and pushed us as we were climbing the steps to the upper deck. They were very quick to curse and push other tourists. Real jerks. There should have been a crew person stationed on top to insure fair seating. We went inside and still really enjoyed the tour. It was money well spent.
The only thing going for this place is the view! We were infested with ants. Our group of 11 rooms were spread out all over the place. A wedding family trip and we were disappointed! Desk help tried to jelp-didnt work. NO ELEVATOR! Crazy right? Tons of luggage up the steps-ask the front desk why no elevator! Back to the botched up rooms-my daughter and son in law go to their room with my grandchildren and they have 1 king bed! They had given others in our group the wrong rooms. And lastly who likes to bath with a wash cloth? This place held these clothes captive! We had to complain to management to get wash clothes-my daughter was given two cloths for 4 people. I would not go back to this place
Great place to stay while visiting Page, AZ. It was absolutely beautiful outside when we visited in March, but they were still on "winter hours", so the hot tub closed at 6 pm. That was my only gripe.
we went there to have coffee and sir by the lake view for the sunset. quite and calm environment for a relaxing evening. they also have different boat tours with varying lengths which was good. was a good experience overall
My family and I came here only for the boat tour, not for the stay. It was a fabulous ride around the antelope island, apparently the only tour available that day, we came in the last week of December. We were taking a tour on a decent size double decker boat, was more specious even with a lot of other visitors on the ride and you feel less wavy (particularly good for those who easily get motion sickness), we took the top deck to get more view and wind (yes, it was very windy and cold but we were dressed for it). We went through the small canals but couldn t go too deep due to the size of the boat. During the ride, we were listening to the recording on our headset that was provided as part of the boat tour, and enjoying the free drinks (coffee, lemon juice, and water). The boat crews, two local native American ladies were very experienced in handling the big boat through the narrow canals. I couldn t help to be amazed by their skills. The boat ride was very enjoyable, I just wished it was less expensive. We paid an over $50 for a 1.5 hour ride per person.
I regret to say that I as not impressed by this hotel. The room felt less like a hotel room and more like a college dorm room. The bed was hard as a rock and the shower did not seem to have been cleaned fully from the previous occupants. The grounds and the views of the surrounding Lake Powell were gorgeous, but the hotel could use some improvement.
I had no expectations for this hotel until I arrived. When we were here, My hubby and I wanna do nothing, so we canceled our plan. we were just happy to lie down in the lounge chair and look at the Lake powell while drinking wine until night.
The view is Epic and foods also good.
There's also a separate swimming pool for resort guests only.
We are definately going back next year.
The facility is like a lodge, but it seems that we have the cheapest room, and the more expensive room is not. You can just visit and see Lake Powell, but stay overnight. The sunrise and sunset were all good, and I just ate, sleep, and watch at the hotel lawn lounge chair, and take out a restaurant at night. The stars and the Milky Way that I saw while drinking wine with my husband are memorable memories. Next year, I decided to go and rent a kayak and paddle for 3-4 nights.
Lake Powell is an artificial lake cut from the Grand Canyon Dam. It is huge and has a magnificent view. It was once the location of many famous Hollywood movies. The more famous examples are the Planet of the Ape and the Ten Commandments... How are all old movies? Although it is an artificial lake, it is more beautiful than imagined, probably because there are not many unnecessary artificial buildings around. Lake Powell is a famous resort with plenty of tourist facilities and an artificial beach on the shore. Imagine that in the summer, there should be a lot of people sunbathing on the beach. There is a small natural trail next to the yacht club, and the scenery along the way is good, but because it is unobstructed, it will be hot when the sun is shining. Thirty minutes before the boat was opened, some people started to line up at the entrance of the yacht club. Unexpectedly, most of the tourists were Koreans. After that, the yacht club staff will pull the brigade to the dock to board the ship. At this time, the rough eyebrows feel that they are like the Hebrews in the Egyptian record, and follow Moses to cross the Red Sea. The lake is a double-decked ship with no padding. In other words, the seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The equipment on the ship is very advanced and features an audio guide to the various attractions of Lake Powell. Although it is pre-recorded, the sound guide on the yacht is very lively and humorous, and from time to time it will tell the bad words of the US government. Because the scenery along the way is very beautiful, the rough eyebrows simply walked to the bow to take pictures, anyway, all of them left the seat, there are a lot of vacancies in the cabin, not afraid to sit. Soon, the yacht sailed to a canyon mouth. Here is the famous Antelope Canyon. It is now a visit to the Antelope Canyon. The rough eyebrows are looking forward to... Later, I realized that this time I just visited the entrance of the Antelope Canyon. The most distorted and most beautiful part of the canyon was to be able to go to the tour group dedicated to the Antelope Canyon. On the way, I met many tourists who visited the canyon in a canoe. This place was drowned before the dam was built. It can be walked in. It is conceivable that this place must have been more spectacular than before. Although I am only visiting the entrance part of the Antelope Valley, I have not entered the most beautiful depths, but the rough eyebrows have already felt good. Next time I have the opportunity, I really want to participate in a special tour to the Antelope Valley.
Bad customer service, no hospitality they made me feel like they did not want me there. They scammed me by accusing me of damaging the propeller on the boat when it was already damaged before I rented it and had to pay an extra $200 for a new propeller.
Just stopped by the gift shop inside but from what we could see of the facility, it was quant and not at all touristy. Staff was kind and helpful to our group. There were spots where you can park and camp overnight as well.
I was amazed at this place, of coarse the views are awesome, but all the building and facilities are very clean and well maintained. The restaurant was only open for dinner at the time of our stay, but you were able to order take out any other time, and the food was vantastic. The rooms are good size for a enjoyable long stay. I highly recommend getting up in time to sit at one of the many benches to watch the sunrise. The pictures of the sun coming over the mountains with the sun reflecting on the lake of glass are spectacular.
Been here twice and really like it, rooms are good clean and spacious. Restaurant has nice menu y service is excellent. The bar, outdoor sitting and pools overlooking the lake are really nice. They offer great boat tours, really worth your day, the one to the Rainbow Bridge is amazing, espectacular views and a nice boar ride, a must if you go there. Near by there's lots of places to visit, Horseshoe view, Antelope Canyons and lots of coves and little islands on the lake to explore, I recommend at lest 3 days to enjoy this magical place.
The internet wasn't working while we were there upsetting the rooms were boring but we met someone who stayed with us and we had a good time regardless
My friend has disabilities & severe food allergies. She has to bring her own food. When booking reservations, she specifically asked if our rooms have microwaves. The Hotel reservist mentioned that there is microwaves . After arriving, after a 6 hour trip, we found out that they do not. They had no compassion. This is a major deal breaker!!! Disabilities aren't something that people can help!!! Also...our room that my husband and I checked into is filthy, beyond anything that I have seen!!! I would never...recommend this Hotel to anyone!!! Do yourself a favor & look somewhere else!!!! It is definitely not worth the $200.00 per night fee!!!
I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was a little meh, but the grounds more than made up for it. Watching the sunset over Lake Powell while lounging by the pool, sipping a beer remains one of the highlights of my trip to Arizona.
Rooms are clean, but modest. The view from a lake view or marina view room is phenomenal. The rest of the rooms are parking lot view. The hotel is not why you come here, the flooded canyons are why. The best thing about the room was the Keurig. The staff is international students imported for summer jobs. They want to help, but sometimes you have to help them understand your expectations. Housekeeping is NOT automatic; you must explicitly request that your room be serviced while you are out. Guests that have stayed at actual resorts should not compare those with this place. For example, the TV remote struggles when used from the bed, and requesting new batteries will not get you new batteries. This is a clean place to flop after a day on the water, and they can charge what they want because there is no nearby competition. The boat rentals are also pricey, for well-used watercraft, but there really is nothing else like exploring Lake Powell by boat. I strongly recommend this experience, just go ahead and pay their undeserved prices.
We stayed one night at this property during the park tour. I can only say that we found ourselves very well. Structure with comfortable, clean rooms, overlooking the lake. Advisable to those who pass by these parts.
Great amenities, nice friendly staff, and a great overall experience. Lots of space for boating and recreational activities. A must visit place if you are in the region.
C rating in both the rooms and restaurants. Lake View rooms have a high balcony wall blocking your view unless you are standing. We ordered prime rib in the restaurant and it was mediocre at best. Tasteless and served with brown water as the Aus Jus. The cut itself was not very tender.
