Great pool, great food, beautiful updated rooms, balcony was so nice to have! We used the free bicycles and surf boards. It was a very nice property to stay at with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We all enjoyed every moment of our time here! Thank you for the swift assistance when we had a small medical emergency. The loss prevention team was above and beyond when it came to customer satisfaction.

Wasn't bad. Lots of construction on my floor so when I tryed napping between engagements it was impossible. I would like to bring the family someday after they get done renovating

Wonderful setting this has. If I were to get married I would like to get married here or someplace like it that has an ocean view surrounded by good people and I think the energy here can support that if you look into get married put this on your option list and View The Menu but I would be guaranteed you find it pleasing as well!

Beautiful and great service! The bedding provides a great nights sleep too! Plus, the location is perfect. I loved walking through the park in the morning and walking to the harbor.

We stayed at the cliffs for 5 nights and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We booked a different hotel closer to the airport for the last night and I am begging my boyfriend to stay the extra night at the cliffs. The staff was out of this world, all incredibly friendly and welcoming. They did whatever they could to make sure our trip was perfect. The valet service was exceptional, our car was always ready for us once we called ahead. The on site dining was out of this world, and our room package included a daily $25 food voucher that came in so handy every day. the hotel is extremely close to all the best beaches in Orange County, and Dana point itself was absolutely breathtaking. We will definitely be back.

Awesome hotel. I am from Studio City, CA, and last time I booked hotel there it was $210 for a shabby suit at North Hollywood. Here, you get royal treatment with an ocean view for $280!!! Superb customer service, beautiful rooms, and great spa.

NO service at all. TERRIBLE!!
We been here for hour and keep waiting the waitress. next to us those table all been take care, but they never come over to ask us at all, we have go to bar and order the drink.

Beautiful hotel and nice rooms. Valet was terrible, took over 20 mins to get our car two separate times. Front desk and rest of staff were nice. Great location.

It was a exquisite experience...had a three-way with a couple rich girlfriends of mine...they left a big tip for the maid, I left some stains on the comforter!!!!

DJ CHEF krew stay here while in Laguna to host,.dj & cook for a PayPal corporate event. Staff was super friendly & accommodating. Beautful venue close to Dana Point Habor! We rode bikes over there fun time.

All the views here are amazing! They recently installed faux grass so the scenery is always picture perfect, and the staff was stellar!

From top to bottom, everything was spectacular! Staff was amazing, restaurant was fantastic (the burger was so good), and the room was stunning. The pool has by far the best ocean view in all of Dana Point.

Service and accommodations were extraordinary. Attended a 2 day conference and the facilities and food was amazing.

Beds are super hard. Over priced. Views are beautiful. We are staying in a brand new remodeled room that is beautiful but for how much we paid for the room, I expected a better mattress. I'm not an early riser on vacation and every morning I woke up between 5-6am because my body hurt so bad I couldn't lay on the bed anymore. We've had other issues I could look passed like: A pin went through my flip flop and punctured my toe. The bell boy was shocked. The front desk called and offered a bandaid. Lights didn't work when we first checked in and issues with the button on the toilet getting stuck and water running constantly or not being able to flush it. Power went out (not hotels fault) while I was in the shower. So I showered in complete darkness. And yesterday when we returned from our days adventures our door was left open by housekeeping. Nothing was taken as far as we can see but it could have been bad. Management offered us free breakfast for that... I'm so tired from not being able to sleep because of the hard mattress, my body hurts, I want my money back and I'm ready to go home but we have one more night left at my husband's work trip

Beautiful resort with a grand location. Like being able to walk all the locations around the harbor.

Food was delicious. Hotel was very clean and ambiance was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My friend is staying here for a conference, and I came out to visit. Staff was great, both at the front desk and in the bar/restaurant! Hotel grounds are beautiful, and her room was newly remodeled. Everything was very nice.

Terrible customer service from Jeff Kingsbury. He treated our guests with terrible disrespect and tried to humiliate people without any cause. Out of control management.

Beautiful and serene. Excellent attention from staff with quality details. Loved it! The view from our first floor room of the ocean was very pretty.

If you are getting a massage, Joana is the absolute best. Was tight all over and I m glad I got the full 90 minutes. She knows what she s doing you ll realize this after 1 minute on her massage table. I will request her in the future.

Absolutely fabulous property! As Marriott Club members, we have stayed at many resorts over the years. This is by far one of the most beautiful properties in the Marriott portfolio of resorts. We stayed for a special occasion and were provided a beautiful room with a fabulous view of the waterfront. We enjoyed appetizers and a delicious breakfast. Everyone from the reception clerk to the concierge to the bellman and the wait staff were very professional and responsive. We hope to have an opportunity to stay at the Dana Point Marriott in the future.

Nice and a clean room to stay in. We had an executive suite and it was small and unimpressive.
The breakfast buffet is limited and pricy. There is no self parking at the hotel, the only option is valet. It is not on the beach. The pool is small and was crowded during our stay. The location is nice and it was about 30 min to most places around there that we wanted to see. They also don't have a club level and they don't honor any late check out for Marriott Titanium Elite because it is a "resort". Whatever!! To me it is more like a regular Marriott and not a resort.

The hotel was beautiful with a great location to get to LA and Anaheim. Parking was all valet, and they were very nice but at checkout there was always a long line to wait to get your car, so be prepared

Great views of the ocean and yacht club. Hotel rooms are updated and specious. Hotel ground are immaculate.

5 star everything BUT be aware the is no self parking. $40/ day valet parking

I ate dinner there three night in a row and the food quality was poor. Everyone in our group complained about the food being cold when served. My bathroom ceiling leaked and the shower would not drain. I could hear the neighboring rooms very clearly. Construction started too early. The property, view, and conference rooms were nice.

Beautiful view overlooking Dana Point Harbor but also there are lots of people making great use of the space in this park. Everything from free yoga, picnics, dog training to fitness groups doing their workouts and others reading under a tree.

I am an event specialist and the of all the hotels I've done private events at the behavior of the staff and security at this hotel was unacceptable and embarrassing. This is not a venue for your event.

Amazing location with beautiful views. The hotel is well appointed and rooms are clean and well appointed.

I asked Linda, at the concierge desk, what there is to do in the area and she told me that I should have done my homework before arriving at the resort. I found her to be condescending and rude. She talked down to me while I was asking her questions. I give the resort 3 stars and Linda a 1star.

Nice bar, good live music. But if you're going to charge $16 for a fancy cocktail, I personally find it kind of tacky to serve it in a "cheater" glass.

Very nice place, professional and great service, friendly staff and great location. We always love staying this hotel.
