Hilton Garden Inn Columbia/Harbison Review

Wonderful Hotel and decorated very nice. Staff were very welcoming as we entered the door until we left. Breakfast was wonderful and so was the staff. Very Clean Room was very nice and clean, WiFi connectivity was great. Would stay here again and again.

I'm not sure that anything is complimentary in this place but the people are nice and the rooms are clean. Easy access off of I-26 ... good place to stay for ballgames and Uber services it quickly. Plenty of parking. You know, if they tossed you an apple or allowed you a bottle of water a day I'd give it another star.

Patrons not following covid protocols and hotel staff not enforcing them.

Great location. Lots of shopping and resturant options in the area. Hotel was very nice. Breakfast staff, Casey and Karen was awesome, very attentive to guests. F&B manager Andrew was very nice as well.

The hotel was nice and quiet. The pillows were soft and supportive. The hallway was narrow. Why were there only two sugars for two cups of coffee??

We were met by a big, friendly smile and a welcome from front desk clerk, Tyrell. He was so helpful, and I want to mention how nice he looked. Blue checked shirt, and jacket. He personifies the exemplary Hill to brand. Excellent breakfast with cooked to order omelets. Quiet, very clean and beautifully decorated. Just what I expect from Hilton. It is for these reasons, plus the large, comfortable rooms, that keep Hilton as our hotel choice while travelling.

We had no problem checking in and the staff was kind and helpful. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay!

The lobby is very nicely decorated, Ms. Barbara extended the best customer service even at 3am to quickly resolve an issue after a good cleaning the jetted tub was awesome. Not sure if I will return to that Hilton but for the most part if I do it would be because of the customer service extended by Ms. Barbara and there manager Chett calling to follow up.

The hotel is near several restaurants and convenient to the freeway. The rooms were clean and the water pressure was great. Every interaction I had with staff was great. I have no complaints.

First, the neighbors were loud and I didn t sleep well. The whirlpool bathtub was not clean. There was brown stuff around the fixtures. I had to clean it to my satisfaction. I came to relax and ended up disturbed and had to clean. Then, I get a charge on my card for smoking in the Room. Which I did not. There was no manager on duty to address the charge they claim to have pictures. The cigarettes butts they may have seen were due to not littering on the property my husband would step out side to smoke and didn t want to discard the butts on the premises so he kept them in his pocket to properly dispose of in the room. It s called not littering.. we did not smoke in the room. I will never do business here again

The place was clean, the front desk and all the staff had a mask on. The room was cleaned and sealed prior to our entry. Stayed for 3 nights. Due to COVID-19, we decided not to have housekeeping service during our stay, except to ask for clean towels from front desk. One of the sanitizer station near the elevator was not functioning and one of the staff saw it, they corrected the problem on the spot.

We absolutely loved our stay! Beds were amazing! Loved the access to the pool & gym!

Not worth the price nor the stay. Bought the breakfast with the room (shoulda went to cracker barrel instead) all the bar food was cold which was on a steam table and still cold. Even ordered an omelette that came as if I was in a 3rd world country sprinkle of cheese and ham was in chunk form. When i seen the omelette I thought it was a crepe as the egg was paper thin. Room wasnt as described, rust in the bathroom on fixtures, other than the other problems which i shall keep to myself this will be the last $150 we spend on a room. Definitely not the Hilton of old.

Rooms were nice, but woke up in the morning, turned the lights on to seen cockroaches scurry out of the sink up under the lip. Talked to front desk and all I got was we will send maintenance up. Wish I could of got photos in time.

09/15/20 I received a check in the mail for the total amount of my stay. It was out of the blue, and did not expect this. I am appreciative of it but, did not receive a letter or an email explaining what it was for. So, I think the customer service is still a little lacking. But, they did do everything they could to make things right. So, I bumped the rating to 3 stars From 1.

It was an easy stay, location was very easy to find, check in was done within 5 minutes, room service food was easy and quick to order. Overall a great stay!

Had a work Christmas party there. Nice ambiance, friendly workers. Food was good, but they ran out of some. Also it was left on the whole evening so we weren't able to take any home as it was all dried out and burned.

Great service! After a horrific experience at Home2 I was greeted upon arrival with a great big smile from a young man named Tee. He assured me that my experience here would be better. I have not checked out but great customer service always makes things better. The room was clean and we we all were happy. Thanks Mr. Tee, your great customer service made me forget how angry I was at the other hotel. Thanks

Slightly dated but clean and comfortable. Very convenient location to downtown, mall and area shopping. Great staff. Ample parking.

I just went for state board. I passed go me okay so enough of me. I can't tell you how the room is but the front part of the hotel was very nice and clean the staff was friendly when I asked the question so the hotel itself look nice I just don't know how the rooms are.

Clean room, the mattress was very comfortable. Great staff that was courteous and helpful. The breakfast options are the standard fare served at most Hiltons. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Clean hotel with super friendly staff. A little tired accommodations, though. How about upgrading and adding a few conveniences in the rooms such as phone and tablet charging stations? Not a USB to be found during my recent stay.

My boyfriend and I were traveling here and normally stop in Florence, SC for a hotel. Well, every hotel was booked from Florence to Columbia. No exaggeration. We stopped at probably 10 hotels and they were all full. The problem was, not a single hotel we stopped at was friendly or willing to help. We finally reached our destination which was this hotel and by chance someone had canceled and there was a room available. Clearly this was our personal problem for not booking in advanced but Caroline was working the guest services desk and was beyond understanding and concerned with how our trip had been. She was so friendly and helpful and we wanted everyone ton know. Thank you Caroline!

This place is very clean and friendly, restaurant and bar on site also walking distance to other restaurants. The only downside is small is small but this place was great

My wife and I were looking for a warm place to relax on a date and found the Hilton garden inn. The lobby area was very inviting and cozy. The variety of comfy seating away from noisy TVs were great. We'll be back for sure!

Very clean. Front desk very professional and efficient. The grounds are nice. I would definitely stay there again.

When I stayed there the rooms were clean and they had hot meals and a bar downstairs. The only downside is that they don't serve liquor on Sundays, just beer and wine.

Modern room. Convenient location to I 26 and Lake Murray. Plenty of places for nice restaurants to go out to, including a Brazilian steakhouse!

No complaints! Very clean and comfy room. Complimentary coffee in the morning, and cookies in the afternoon. This is location has a restaurant that serves both breakfast and dinner. A ton of places to eat close by as well.

When checking out i left a black Adidas jacket on the chair in my room that could not be found my daughter left her eye glasses at the pool no one turned them in the first night there had to kill aroach bug going up the wall .

Nice hotel and rooms, the only problem was breakfast was not included. Breakfast was $10.95 a person. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.
