I attended a company meeting in the ballroom. Then lunch was arranged outside on the lawn. The lobby, ballroom and outside areas we visited were all beautiful. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Wow, recently stayed at this hotel over the weekend. I was able to check in early on Friday. The rooms were quite spacious and comfortable. This review is mostly for the spa. If you have the chance, the spa was absolutely amazing! I was a big fan of the eucalyptus steam room. My body instantly relaxed. I booked the serenity (?) massage. My masseuse Steph was amazing! She really paid attention to what I needed. Highly recommend.

I only have one complaint and it is that the bed i slept on was like a rock even with the pillow-top cover on it. That aside, the service was excellent and the food and view were amazing. Spa services were a great experience and I received an incredible massage. I will be returning here not just with my wife but the rest of my family.

This is really a beautiful hotel. The location is spectacular, overlooking Lantern Park and Dana Point. Our room had an ocean view! Room was very nice and updated, staff very friendly and courteous. Very clean. Hot cider and fruit infused water in the lobby. Movies
with popcorn each night. Turndown service with chocolates. Beautiful walk to park, harbor restaurants and shops.

Great hotel overlooking the ocean. A bar with a view. Clean and bright rooms. Warm and inviting outdoor pools. Friendly staff and a great free shuttle running to Laguna and Dana Point right outside.

Beautiful location and vista, with excellent service and attention by most of the staff. Only issue we had was that because of an event held during our stay, tennis courts were used as a parking lot. Having a tennis court on the premises was one of the main reasons we chose the resort, so that was a bit off putting. Luckily, there was one of the best public tennis courts we played on just half a mile from the hotel. The other amenities were quite nice, and the spa was very private and relaxing. We look forward to the next time we spend a local weekend getaway there.

Every so often you find a place where every team, maid service, management, wait staff, grounds keepers, really like their gig and want to make their customers feel like a million bucks. This is that place.

We have been coming to the Laguna Cliffs for the last 5 years to celebrate special events in our lives.

We booked specifically so that we could enjoy the Porsche 356 Club showing on the lawn in front of the hotel...

With that being the case, our room had some seriously neglected issues regarding cleanliness; we decided to show the manager, Jeff, who was gracious, very apologetic and contacted the housecleaning dept. They came ready to clean, and we pointed out various issues (greasy residue atop of bedside table, not enough dusting on a lamp that was covered with weeks' worth of dust, not enough towels/soap) and an obviously unkempt outside deck. The clear windows surrounding the outside of our deck were filthy. My husband actually wiped down two of the glass deck windscreen windows prior to the housekeeping dept coming to clean. We mentioned the windows, and Erlinda, who was very helpful, stated that the outside deck glass was the responsibility of the landscaping dept. She mentioned that she'd contact the groundskeeping/maintenance dept, as she stated that the housekeeping within the room was their responsibility. Groundskeeping came and after a few short minutes, both with Erlinda watching, the room and the adjacent deck windows were spotless. We greatly appreciated their efforts; but unfortunately, the problem then became the condition of the hotel restaurant booths. Filthy and stain, drastically needing to be cleaned. The floor is weathered and peeling. The seating in the booths is abhorrent. It took away from the dining experience completely. In all likelihood, we'll venture back one more time, likely in an attempt to see if in another year, the condition improves...Lastly, the poolside covered cabanas are dismally in need of new upholstery, new wheels on some of the lounges, and are again suggestive of a hotel's neglect, understaffed, or overlooked yet expected accommodations and amenities.

Lovely, classically designed resort hotel adjacent to the Lantern Bay Park, overlooking the Bay and ocean. Full service spa, 24 hour fitness center. Was there for a meeting. Food was excellent. Wife had a great facial and enjoyed yoga with a group that meets in the park every morning. Room was spacious and comfortable, service excellent aside from a flub with our luggage We'll be back.

Excelent views, big gym with free weights. Pokemon stop and gym. Big hot tubs. Incredible sunset spot. Would return, especially with children.

There was a problem with noise in our room, the door has almost an inch gap at the bottom so we heard hallway and neighbors, but they moved us to another room. Some construction noise and "restraunt" is a windowless ballroom (dec 2019). Forced to valet park. No body lotion in bathroom.

One of the most beautiful Marriott properties at which I have ever stayed (and I have stayed at many Marriotts across 4 continents!). Well-kept venue, professional staff and magnificent views. Excellent location for a family vacation or a corporate event.

Nickel and dime you for a lot, parking, resort fee and 18 for a glass of wine at pool. Oh I forgot, power went out for 30 minutes, obnoxious guests screaming at 2am in hallway , what's not to like.

Room was clean and comfortable and the AC worked amazingly well which at the time was critical since it was so hot. Lobby was very nice and modern and the grounds were also well kept. Pool had a pretty cool kids area and included a bar. Overall a nice hotel to stay in for sure and was very reasonably priced.

Great view, great amenities and staff is very very friendly, professional and edgar to help. If your here on a business trip the network sucks. The room doesn't have a microwave or kitchenette. The refrigerator is minscule and won't provide any space for snacks for the little one or yourself. So prepare to eat out everyday and have plenty of dry snacks. They do have ice machines and provide you a coffee maker. Ok for single person buisness travel or just passing threw. Not mention for exsteneded stay.

Beautiful hotel, with friendly staff, unfortunately it it's not run very well for a hotel situated for the area it's in.
A late night dance party that went really late, so loud you can hear it in your room 3/4 down the hall.
The valet system was broken and poorly maintained rooms.

Nice staff, good rooms and locations. Gym is excellent. I wish they had digital alarm clocks, when I wake up in a different time zone it is disorienting to not see the time right away so I know whether to go back to sleep or wake up. I would have gone 5 stars, but I rarely do that when they charge a slimy resort fee ($30), it is just so dishonest.

Also, I didn t like the European style shower (short glass wall) it is a mess, water gets everywhere. Europe does a lot of great stuff to borrow this isn t one of them. And I prefer the soap and shampoo without the disposable mini bottles.
