Very haunted. We were on the 6th floor and the three of us all felt the building move/sway under our feet. It was subtle but occurred several times. Also the bedside light suddenly turned off when I said that the hotel was not haunted as if the poltergeists insisted they exist. The benevolent spectres would howl and growl soon after the midnight hour and then later shaked our bed as if to say goodnight and pleasant dreams.

Stopped in for a Sunday brunch on patio, food was good, patio was lovely, service excellent. It's a beautiful hotel. But honestly, if I hadn't been a guest of my friend who was showing me around town, I never would have paid what she did for a breakfast buffet here! Kind of spendy! So only 4 stars.

A charming boutique hotel in the center of San Antonio, right on the River Walk. Features a lovely central courtyard, many options for dining, and truly exceptional customer service. Offers the State rate, and features select amenities at a great price.

Had a mix up in rooms but the manager immediately got it corrected. This is an old historical hotel with lots of style and just a few steps to the original Riverwalk. Nice bathroom. Comfortable beds.

Certainly a five star experience with a five star price. The champagne brunch is their specialty. The prime rib was excellent. My wife and I felt spoiled as we took are time to enjoy this amazing buffet.

The four stars are for the excellent location. It was amazing to be able to sit and people watch way into the wee hours of the night while sipping on my drink right in front of the River Walk. However, the front-desk staff was rude, my room was not ready, and I was given a room that was facing a busy street with a parking space. I did get it changed, but to a smaller room.

Rooms are a bit dated but hold a certain charm with their Spanish style decor. The rooms are clean and well kept, with very little signs of age, and no bad or musty odors like other hotels next to the water. Check in experience is smooth and effortless if you are an Omni select guest, valet service is on point, and bell boys are polite and helpful. Rooms with views of the Riverwalk offer great people watching and a great ambiance. Restaurant serves a top notch steak. With a minimal update, this hotel can earn 5 stars!

In a nutshell, room 29. This room made our entire experience magical. I probably should have kept that in the bag but sharing is caring. The old world Spanish decor is breathtaking and the customer service is wonderful. Before checking in I was able to sample some of their complementary coconut drink which was amazing and far more interesting than cucumber/lemon water. The pool area was beautifully decorated and private since it is enclosed on all four sides by the hotel itself. The hotel is further away from the mall area which is where I like to be closest to because of our Girls, the environment more than makes up for that. The room was slightly smaller than what I had expected but that could be because it was a king bed room. I also had requested a roll away bed by phone and was pleased to find it in our room upon arrival. Customer service is key for me and this hotel does not disappoint.

Attended an event there, seemed like a nice hotel. It has a quant and historic feel, definitely not a modern, sleek place. The meeting and conference room was large and very nice venue. Also easy access from riverwalk

This hotel was great because you can see the hustle and bustle of the Riverwalk from your shared balcony. You're definitely paying for the location! You can't beat it! The only thing we did not like was the thin walls. Our room was right next to an elevator and we could hear everyone that came in and out of the elevator and all of their conversations. We like to sleep in and there was none of that happening at this stay. The wait staff is fantastic, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and roomy enough!

Excellant staff. Excellant hotel. Had one issue with shower pressure but the staff got it fixed asap. Pool is very nice and you have access to the Mokara pool/hot tub and gym. Excellant restaurant with Excellant waiters/waitresses. Would definitely recommend for a getaway or bring the family. Directly on the riverwalk.

Hotel was a great experience It had a unique feeling about it with the garden area, the nice pool and the direct Riverwalk access. The halls were confusing to navigate but we survived. The staff was nice. The room was clean. We parked across the street for $9 per night instead of the valet for about $40.

I was willing to pay one of the highest prices for a room here, in the surrounding area. Guess they aren't worried about business based upon my experience with them. Called to check on a few item and then just in case asked about my ESA (Emotional Support Animal) mainly because shes about 70 pounds and the website site dogs allowed under 50 pounds. I did explain that I have a letter, prescription from a Dr. prescribing the dog due to a disability. Not that I have to explain myself at all legally or provide any evidence but the response was basically, well an ESA doesn't really mean anything, its just like my pet at home. Wow! Even if they were going to approve it, I was really put off from staying here at that point just by that statement. Regardless, I was also denied staying there with my dog. You need to do your research as an ESA is not the same as your animal at home. Can you go away without your animal and not have such severe anxiety and panic attacks that land you in the hospital for days? If I were a vet with PTSD, would you have an issue? Both PTSD and anxiety are very similar in that they are emotional as well as physical to a person. I get that many people try to get away with taking their animals and lie but again, I have the verifiable evidence from my Dr. who has seen this over 10 plus years and treats me. This should be a case by case basis yet there was no consideration what so ever! The airlines recognize this and allow ESAs to fly but a hotel won't. All over a dog weight, 20 pounds, which is somehow relevant. Hate to tell you, but the most common types of service dogs are over 50 pounds. SHAME ON THEM!!! Luckily there's other hotels that have no problem understanding and accommodating us in the same close vicinity. I will always tell this story now, never recommend them to anyone, and let everyone in my ESA, SA, Vets and my disability support groups know about this terrible experience so they will avoid it too. But at least I now know where I will and will not always be staying every time I head to the Riverwalk, which is often since I just live in Houston.

Are you serious? So 2 dogs allows for a total of 100 pounds, but not 1 dog at 70 and guide dogs for other disabled...obviously thats BS.

Easy access to River Walk which is literally at the back of the hotel. Rooms were comfy and clean. Staff pleasant and helpful. My favorite thing about the room was the water pressure in the shower.

incredible location. i got a room on the riverwalk and found it a highlight of my trip. sitting in the porch, listening to the live music playing below. couldnt have asked for more. the staff were so accommodating, everything we asked for they took care of. if you are coming to S.A. this is the hotel to come to. be aware, they have a steep parking price. its valet only. theres a parking garage across the street. use it for 10 a day.

A good hotel for its location and if you want to leave the typical "Macro" American hotels, totally impersonal. The hotel is located in the most well-known and interesting part of San Antonio. Very comfortable. The staff is very attentive!!!!.

3rd time retuning to this property. This past experience was terrible. Beds were uncomfortable room was distressed worn bathroom shower had pink ring around drain. Clearly showing it had not been cleaned in long time! Room gave us the feeling of being in a 1 star scummy motel at a 4star rate. We will not be returning to this property. My family had a long day of travel i didn't address the problems with staff. It was unexpected had a terrible experience.

Quite possibly the best hotel we have ever stated in while in San Antonio! The hotel is situated right next to the riverwalk and is walking distance from all of the popular restaurants and bars. We were greeted at the lobby with such a welcoming atmosphere. Our room had a view of the pool, which gave us a wonderful experience of the mariachi band playing while everyone cooled off at the pool. Definitely staying here again for next vacation!

I'm very confused how people think so highly of this hotel. I usually go to pretty basic hotels or hostels and this was worse and 3 times the price. Hotel is dated and expensive. WiFi is slow and you need to pay for it. Breakfast is not included. It is on the riverwalk, but it is also next to an ER and pretty busy streets. Most of the rooms have doors facing outside so you can hear everything. Not a good idea if you can't sleep through car alarms and truck deliveries. The AC is set very cold with no way to turn off the extremely loud fan and the actual temperature doesn't match what you set. There are no ceiling lights and the hallway is too dark so you need to use a flashlight to get to a lamp. There are very few electrical outlets. And I asked to not get my room cleaned because I was only staying 2 nights and I didn't want to take my valuables. I left and put the do not disturb sign on, came back in the afternoon and the room had been cleaned.

Nothing Spectacular about this Omni, being how i have stayed at others, especially in the DFW area, was really disappointed with this one, very outdated, small bathrooms and bed wasn't very comfortable for the price, the best feature was it being on the Riverwalk, perhaps that's what u paying for..

Very nice hotel well located right on the River Walk. Well maintained, clean with courteous and friendly staff. Only negative comment is that the entrance is located on what appears to be an alley right across the street from a very large parking garage (not part of the hote).

This hotel had just about everything you could ask for. Only thing missing was the second on site pool, spa, and gym. Although it was nice to be able to access them in a sister hotel right across the river. Great stay

Great location, and the hotel has a great-looking vibe to it. It is in a perfect location on the Riverwalk to go to the best restaurants and bars. We stayed on the top floor, and had a few towards the Hard Rock Hotel and overlooking the Riverwalk. Check in was fast, and there's a parking garage available across the street

Service was great. Rooms were outdated. I wish someone warned me about the shared balconies. As a solo female traveler, I was not comfortable with this layout. I had to keep my blinds fully closed for the duration of the stay.

The Omni not only met my expectations, it surpassed them. The room was right over the River Walk and had the best views. The hotel had its own entrance to the River Walk and was right in the middle of the action. The staff was very courteous and attentive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay on the river and experience the best of the River Walk.

I always stayed at Omni La Mansion del Rio in San Antonio on the 4th floor and was quite happy with the cleanest of the rooms, well This time was different, Angie the Room attendant doesn't work here and the 4th floor is not as nice & clean as when she was there. lots of dust, no towels, no smiling faces!

I'm going back to Hyatt!

We went to the bar to watch the game and have a drink. For some reason they had the fireplace going so we were burning up. The drinks were overpriced but the staff was friendly and helpful. The place overall was fairly nice.

Very over priced with small rooms. If you want to park in the hotel you have to pay $40 even if you are a guest. They ask $50 upfront in case you take a $6 candy bar. No luxury at all, not even a shower cap.

This is a really cool place. They have a fun courtyard style area full of life and people. We also had a river walk room on the second floor which was perfect after a long drive. We just sat out there watching people and boats go by while drinking a beer an relaxing.

Incredibly nice hotel. Top service and quality. No free breakfast, unfortunately, but a good cafe and excellent restaurant are located inside. My only complaint is the outside street noise, but I'm a small town person.

My go-to place in San Antonio. Every visit is consistently excellent. The hotel building is quirky with a maze of halls and verandas. It is not for the traveler who wants lots of glass, clean lines, or atrium lobbies. Every room is different, and the most recent one I had was with a shared balcony on Riverwalk. It was fully and recently updated. Very nice, but it was small.
