Beautiful hotel with probably one of the best locations in San Antonio. Exceptional customer service and the room was spacious with a wonderful view of the riverwalk. This was my first time staying at an Omni Hotel and I will definitely consider Omni when available the next time I travel for business or leisure.
Omni La Mansion Del Rio was not what we had expected. Our room was 756. The elevator and hallways were very hot. When we first got to our room the keys did not work. We waited outside our room for about 15 to 20 mins till the security guard helped us. Once we got into our room it was hot, it stayed that way most of the night. We also noticed the remote control for the TV was missing. We called front desk and they were able to send one up in about 15 mins. When we had to shower the push knob for the shower head to turn on kept popping out. After a stressful week we just wanted to relax but unfortunately we didnt experience that here at the omni. We will not be returning.
This is a great location with it's rear access to the Riverwalk. Service was very great, and ask the staff was very friendly. I do feel like the hotel could use some updates though, and I was disappointed that there is no fitness facility there (must go across street to sister property), or self-service parking (must go across other street for that).
I was very pleased while staying here. Location wasgreat, the river walkis literally out the back of the lobby, and to the rest of downtown San Antonio. Really liked the room patio and it overlooked the river walk. All amenities and services worked as they should. Overall really happy with my stay here.

We got a reservation through priceline for $160 a night. A good price for a Riverwalk-front hotel. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. I wouldn't have paid more than $160 a night though.
I really didn't do much here. Heard stories about it being haunted but we just did a quick walk through

I thought the Omni La Mansion del Rio would be a nice hotel for me and my husband to spend our honeymoon. Absolutely not! This place is overpriced and I feel like we didn't get our money's worth for our experience. In our first room, the drains in the bathroom were clogged and holding water so we requested to be switched to another room which was better I must say. That's only because the drains weren't clogged. The rooms are smaller than I thought and dirty. The carpets have stains and the furniture is dusty. I didn't feel like I was staying in a clean environment. We left for breakfast one morning and returned @ 2 pm and the room wasn't cleaned. The front desk staff wasn't very friendly. We told the front desk it was our anniversary and received nothing. We overheard another front desk receptionist say she had sent a cake to another room because it was that guest's birthday. I was looking for an amazing experience and this place failed me. The only good aspect of this hotel is its proximity to the River Walk. I will not stay at this hotel when I return to the River Walk. I visited the Hilton Palacio del Rio which was very nice. I would give them my money before this place.
Me and my wife book this hotel due the good reviews it has, sadly when you get to the hotel everything is very old, the room had a lot of dust all the furniture is stained, plus the humidity odor and the mattress are old, the staff was very helpful we end up leaving to another hotel.

Fantastic Christmas trip with Family . Perfect in everyway <Balcony room with all the beautiful lights . it was like a magical trip right over the famous Selena Bridge for pictures. I plan on making it a new tradition the week before Christmas to visit !

A little out dated. Rooms are not well lit, we had to hunt for the light switch. Good location and historical though. Love that it's right on the river walk!
The location was very convenient and we liked the option to self park across the street, rather than valet. The room was nice and had a beautiful view of the Riverwalk from the (shared) balcony. It was also interesting that the building had some historic significance. It was rather expensive, but it seems like everything in San Antonio is overpriced.
I love Omni hotels and San Antonio is my hometown. So I was really looking forward to my stay on the Riverwalk. I was really disappointed that the hotel was in obvious need of renovation. Additionally, I paid extra for a river view from my balcony and was only able to see...a tree. They said a renovation was due to begin soon so maybe just check with the concierge before booking to see if this has been completed.
Stayed here on a Wednesday night for the SLAYER show. Fanciest place I have ever stayed. I was by myself but always felt safe while I was there. Everyone was extremely helpful and polite. The room was fantastic and although I was not used to it, I loved the valet parking! So easy and stress free!
On the River everything went well except we had a room by the road could hear the cars early in the morning
Beds are full size not queen in the 2 double bed rooms. Staff could be friendlier. Beautiful spot.

Location is wonderful, right in the heart of the river walk! Walk out the back door and you are on the river. Hotel was built in the 1800s and retains the beautiful historic feel. Rooms have charm not found in traditional hotel rooms.

Really nice hotel in a great location, only kind of draw back is that the second pool, gym, and spa were located in the sister hotel across the river. Great service, thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Incredible staff. Incredible location. 11/10 Recommend!!! I left my phone charger in my valeted car and they delivered the charger to my room. And they let us valet our luggage after we checked out so we could explore the river walk more before we got on the road!! STAY HERE!
This is a great place to stay in San Antonio - right on the Riverwalk, a Starbucks a block away, beautiful grounds, friendly and courteous staff, great restaurant, comfortable room - what more could you want in a hotel? We loved staying here and will definitely be back.

Worst Experience of my life. Overnight shift in no way shape or form understand the ins and outs of their system. Nor have any concept of the idea of, Hospitality. Hospitality means you make accomodations within reason to be Hospitable towards the client. I had scheduled a night for 1/29 but arrived late with wife & child due to business. It was now 4am 1/30 and the front desk word for word told me, because I arrived late I could no longer check in, unless I paid again, keep in mind I had already payed $221. I then asked her how much shes said another $221 and checkout time would be the same. So my understanding is Id pay for 2 nights and still checkout 1/30 afternoon... I then agreed because of the time and my wife being there and exhausted. She then said wait, "theres also gonna be another $90 charge for you checking in late. I was furious and then I asked her so youre charging my $330 to be here until 1/31? She said no checkout time is in 8 hours and rolled her eyes. I was furious but handed her my card, she finally hit me with tha, "by the way parking isn't free you can pay across the street." HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. This spat in the face of the Omni name. Never again. I am a finance manager for a multi million dollor corporation and I will every opportunity bad mouth this location every chance I get. Super embarrassing and that lady has no business in customer service
Despite the perfect location at the river walk in front of a restaurant that is lively and has nice live music, the friendly staff, and the really nice room interiors, omni hotels unfortunately lack cleanliness; the towels, the bed sheets, the bath tub, there were even cockroaches in the Corpus Christi branch.
Great room service very friendly, beautiful atmosphere! Has a center patio with tables and a rock fire pit! Beautiful rooms, spacious king size beds, free rollaways. They have restaurant inside as well. We where able to watch the Ford Parade Of Lights from our Balcony instead of trying to buy seats along the river walk. Everything is a short walking distance, Starbucks, Walgreens, close to tons of bars. Bonus is this hotel is right on the River walk!
What to say. The service was accommodating. The staff was friendly. The view was amazing. Its was a pleasant experence.
My wife and I went to have dinner which was going great until she stated having contractions. All the staff from the servers to security were very helpful. Just loved it all around.
I was attending a corporate meeting and our event hotel was the Omni. I actually stayed here back in 2004. Lots of improvements and you can't beat the location. Love SA!
Outrageous prices @ $200 a day for a room 2Q on River Walk BUT right next to active construction in progress daily w/workers sitting on patron balcony chairs on cell phones or working w/loud RAP music blaring on balcony..8:30 am. Entire food service, strolling people looking up at the interruption outside and in. Expensive ($6.50 an Ultra Beer in bar, Service good. Restaurant-- expensive, very unspecial menu, Shepards Pie, 1 Moscow Mule- delivered after food served-our group of 16, 1 1/4 hr wait for food, a $7.50 service charge per patron in addition to tip area on invoice, and no change returned to table for $60 cash . Concierge, Shuttle tour guides, staff clean, helpful friendly BUT NO CUT IN PRICE FOR CONSTRUCTION ENDURANCE. Hope they survive thru their long construction project ahead.
Rick the concierge was supposed to take care of us for the Christmas parade. When we arrived we were not on the list, however luckily when they charged our credit card I was sent an email. My wife and I travel extensively, mistakes happen, but lack of caring is an issue.

Waited over an hour to check in, they didn't have rooms ready and it was around 5 p.m . But the room was clean once we got it. Valet parking guys were really nice.
We recently visited San Antonio and stayed at the Omni La Mansion del Rio and were extremely satisfied with the hotel. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our room was so clean and beautiful. We look forward to our next visit and will definitely choose this hotel again. Location on the Riverwalk could not have been better.

This is our first time staying at the Omni La Mansion del Rio RiverWalk. We love our large room, our balcony view is outstanding, and the hotel staff is terrific. They even provided us a very nice surprise of dipped strawberries and champagne for our anniversary.
We don't generally expect a lot of pampering, but it really is pretty nice down here in San Antonio at the Omni!
The location is great. Right on the river walk. Clean, large rooms. Parking could be an issue for some and wifi is not free.
We stay here often, fantastic property and the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a Great Stay at their hotel!
Been to San Antonio many times. This was my first time taking the boat ride. Very nice and educational.
Wonderful staff and convenient location. It is overpriced for the room quality. I've stayed in much more elaborate hotels and paid less per night.
It was decent the service was awful the coffee was terrible(besides the cappuccino those are good.) The food and dessert was great and everything is way too expensive but the river walk was fun.
Morsel's serve delicious breakfast burritos. The restaurant provided great customer service with fresh hot breakfast. Valet service offers bottled water while you wait for UBER services.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The location is on the river walk and within walking distance to restaurants and a pharmacy. There is a parking lot across the street that you will need to pay for but a good option if valet parking is not your favorite choice. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the staff is amazing (they go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one). I would recommend you carry earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Their breakfast tacos are delicious!
Be aware that the hallways and elevators in this hotel are NOT air conditioned. It's very HOT in Texas. Just a simple walk from my room to the elevator and ride down and I was drenched with sweat and got sick from the heat. It's a still, suffocating heat. Housekeeping never once cleaned my room or brought fresh towels durning my 2 day stay. There are much nicer and cooler places to stay in San Antonio.
Did not honor reservation. The first lady at the concierge desk asked for my info ( name, confirmation # etc. Etc.) Many times, until she gave up and toldme to wait for her colleague, a person that could help me with that. Just to be precise: she would not call her colleague I had wait. The colleague came and the first person did not made an attempt to explain my issue. After I moved forward they start talking about my case. Again I was asked for last name and confirmation # multiple times at not avail. At this point the second person at the desk asked if I could wait (now I'm waiting half an hour) so she can check in other people, and after take care of me. Needless to say I left. If this what you can expect from this people, stay away. It's abhorring. Next block over aer found a wonderful hotel on the riverwalk.

Located directly on the Riverwalk in an amazing Spanish Colonial style building. Please note that the hotel charges $9.99 (per day?) for wi-fi and there is no complimentary breakfast. Probably too "fancy" for me, but all in all, a really nice hotel.
This place is very deceptive. They have hidden charges everywhere and work very hard to get every dime they can out of you. Dont use the valet parking thats one of their better scams. Beautiful place. Ugly buisiness practices.

Overall experience is great! Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious! Easy access to the riverwalk and a central location that is within walking distance to wherever you want to go. The only thing I would say is that some rooms face the streets and during the weekends you can hear the lovely policemen/women blowing their whistle long into the night to direct traffic. I would stay here again and again!
This Hotel is an amazing wonderfully relaxing place in which to visit San Antonio, TX. The rooms and suites are comfortable; and all of the food we tried from their room service was simply delicious.
Highly recommend this experience.
And... For an added extra bonus, if you are visiting San Antonio during their yearly Fiesta celebration, try to get yourself a 'River View' room. From here, you'll be able to witness the River Parade, in addition to seeing to seeing our great River Walk, all the excitement on display.
We stayed overnight during the Christmas light parade and got a room overlooking the River walk. This place is great and the drinks at the bar will put hair on your chest!
The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing and the staff was very courteous. That said, the hotel is not as guest friendly as I would hope for at this price point. The desk in the room I am staying in is not very ergonomic, and the parking situation is less than ideal. The hotel does have a garage, but it's only for the $40 per night valet parking. Otherwise your paying $10 every time you go in/out across the street. It also really bothers me when I pay more than $100 to stay in a room and there is no easily acxessible outlet next to the bed. There's also no on site laundry but you can wait a day for someone else to do it at $7 per tee shirt. The fitness center is off site but it's gorgeous. Overall a nice, and aesthetically pleasing hotel but not the best value for money to be had on the river walk I'm sure.
