This hotel was more for a couple not, a family. When we showed up and checked in with children, we were tucked away to the back of the hotel. The walk was long and awkward. Once we arrived to our room, we found that the accomodations were nice but, tiny. We also couldn't access the advertised "free internet" because we booked our hotel stay through Hotwire. All in all, I am glad that we had this experience so we won't make the mistake of staying here again. Nice but, not for families!

We bought a one night stay with Priceline, first time experience. Great price but man oh man. Even tough it was a Tuesday and hotel was empty, They gave us the Worst room of the house, in basement, no window, dirty and old carpet. Had to wait about 20 minutes to check in because there was one lady at front desk, who was Answering the phone and calling maintenance for other guest. In addition the room key did not properly so we had to go front desk twice, and wait some more time, because front desk lady still busy. We ended up leaving just stayed a few hours. I am truly dissappointed.

After waiting years to stay at this hotel, and finally getting the opportunity to do so paying $300+ a night for an average hotel at best wasn't idea, but my fiance really wanted to stay here do to it's convenience to the riverwalk. Price increases due to the in town events are ridiculous. I must admit outside view of the hotel from the riverwalk was nice, but inside not so much. Although historic as it is, my first complaint comes from Valet. Instead parking the car and taking care of it considering how much I'm paying to have it parked. This guy was just sitting in my car talking it up with the other valet guys instead of doing his job. We checked in and I stood there for another 7 minutes outside while he still sat in my car just talking. I mean really, you do that kind of stuff in your own car not mine. Or wait until you have parked the car and come back and chat it up. My second complaint comes from the lack of central air throughout the building. The hallways were sweltering hot the elevator was slow the hallways upstairs were humid and unbearable. Next we get into our room and there are rolled up sheets and trash in the middle of the floor everything was out of place. Like someone halfway cleaned the room and just left. I had to put everything out in the hallway that was left over from the cleaning service. The morning of me checking out the cleaning staff knocks on the door at 8am which puzzles me because I wasn't aware checkout was at 8am. This place needs some serious help. They even couldn't find my car after calling 20 minutes ahead of time for them to bring it to the front. We were very disappointed staying here and will not be repeating a stay again.

Here for a wedding. The wedding was beautiful!! My only issue is that it would have been nice to have the regular toiletries(shampoo, conditioner....) There was 1 bar soap. The room was great! The staff was great! Everyone made sure bride and groom were taken care of!! There is so much in walking distance I didn't need to drive much.

While staying at a neighboring hotel, we were looking for a Sunday Brunch on the river walk. We found this spot and had an awesome brunch. Could not have asked for more (except maybe biscuits and gravy). Oh well, had the Carb Louie instead.

They have homeless people coming in and hanging out in the hotel. Other then the disorganized staff, employment is the worst. Cant even go to HR for help because they are all in cahoots with eachother. They fired the best employee they ever had over a hear say. Who does this!

If you like rustic beauty with a touch of class and great service, you will enjoy Omni La Mansion del Rio River Walk Hotel in San Antonio. Currently, self parking in under construction, but still accessible. Feel free to treat your self to valet parking. I forgot a few things when I checked in, but staff delivered it to my room in a flash. We enjoyed room service since it was so chilly. The room is rustic, but clean and it smells good too. The room was warm when we got here. It s literally freezing outside today. There is a great view of the pool area and it s right on the river. The hotel offers in room dining as well as several bars, restaurants, and even a rooftop cafe. Great for active folks who want to run around the river walk, but cozy if you just want to stay in. The room also has all the snacks and drinks you can think of plus a coffee maker.

Beautiful Historic Hacienda Style Hotel in the heart of San Antonio's Riverwalk. The staff are friendly, efficient and accommodating. The food and beverage are delicious. They have a Restaurant and Bar on premises as well as room service. Along with seating on the Riverwalk, they have two courtyards- one has a water fountain and rocking chairs and the other has a pool and lounge chairs. Both are relaxing and make for a great get away from the hustle and bustle just out side of this facility. If you want to workout or be pampered by a spa - their sister property Mokara is directly across the river on the opposite bank. They multiple meeting & event rooms as well. They only have Valet but directly across the street is the Houston Street self parking garage. It doesn't have the in/out privileges as the valet provides though. Relax and Enjoy!

Our room was right on the river walk! Was a beautiful hotel. The bed was comfy, but I was disappointed to find the room lacked a usable radio. The alarm clock radio was not clear and didn't have Bluetooth capabilities. I just wanted to listen to music. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast one day...The buffet even offered a gluten free station to my delight! The food and service was great. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

I have never stayed with this brand but based on this trip, I will book them whenever I can. Fantastic attentive service was evident with each team member we meet. Our clean and lovely room had a balcony overlooking the Riverwalk.

Loved this hotel, rooms are nice and clean with brick walls. Nothing like any other. The pool is great with mini fires by it. Right along the river. Plan on staying here next time we come back.

This was our first time staying at the Omni de mansion. We stayed in the ambassador suite and I could honestly say it was a nice historical experience. I know there was reviews that this place wasn't as luxury as they thought it would be but keep in mind this building has been there since 1968. If your looking for a San Antonio historical feel the Omni is the place to go. The staff was always on top of everything and made us feel very welcome... Will definitely go again. We had the Riverwalk view and it was definitely worth every penny. Thanks Omni!

Amazing hotel, one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in in my life! Loved the architecture and politeness of the staff. Its location on the river walk is perfect and the view of the river and city from the balcony was second to none! This is the perfect hotel for a nice relaxing getaway!

The Omni La Mansion dei Rio Hotel is the most romantic and superb hotel to stay on the San Antonio Riverwalk. The hotel has first class service, warm and romantic rooms, especially those with a balcony overlooking the Riverwalk and excellent food in it's acclaimed restaurant. My wife and I will not stay anywhere else when we visit San Antonio. The hotel is located in the center of downtown where fun, food and entertainment is within easy walking distance.
