Omg, store takes the internet and catalog sites and supercharged it, allow a couple of hours, worth the stop , amazing selection and prices

Wow, just wow. Huge store, everything clothing and outdoor related, open 24/7 365 and quietly competent staff make this a "do not miss" stop on one's Maine vacation. It is in a cute little village with plenty of other outdoor outfitters.

This place will always have a special place in my heart I love their focus on nature and adventure!!

The staff is wonderful and I was happy to go and explore such a large location due to its several departments. LL Bean can be pricey, but the quality is wonderful and the staff here is second to none

In my opinion, their new business model is not sustainable amongst the competition. Limited free shipping, out of state sales tax, limited return policy and lack of competitive pricing. I think this new company leadership will drive the company to the ground. Sad, I miss the old L.L. Bean.

What more can I say-I come here every year to check out the store. My favorite shopping excursion of the year!!

What is there not to love about L. L. Bean?! So their prices are high but their quality is on key!

Went with my grandchildren and although expensive, the have great products and the Freeport store is an adventure in itself. From the bear cub ottoman to the waterproof playing cards. They have a great play place with a knot tying practice area, checkers and chalk board. They have all the clothes you'd expect and all the camping supplies you'll ever need. Years ago we took their introductory courses on archery, pidgeon shooting and kayaking. I still want to take the one on fly tying. Great day trip!

Allot of choices. Stuff had no idea they sold. The boot car cool. Recomend the Outlets. Including ll bean. Got a cool bean bag. It was paper though. Had to buy at least a magnet. Had to pay 2 dol for tolls to get there

Fantastic store with solid products and helpful staff. Their family friendly events throughout the year and centralized location in Freeport village make them a go to for your outdoor living needs. Summers bring the concert in the park series, Winter holidays bring the northern lights festival. There's always something for everyone.

We had two days in Maine. On night one we heard a big fish in the river. On day two we headed to LLBean to help us catch it. A very knowledgeable employee helped us select what we would need as novice fisherwomen. A few hours later we d caught dinner!

We were there before Christmas. They always go all out in everything they do so that everyone can enjoy every inch of our great state of Maine. They can set you up for most any outdoor adventure.

The complex is huge, and there are separate buildings for different things. Everyone was friendly and helpful, even though they were constantly busy.

Not ideal for pushing a stroller through, but high quality content.

I've never seen so many flys! Go at night almost have the store to yourself and be sure to see locked rack Elks.

We go to L.L. Beans at least once a year. This visit I returned a piece of luggage that the zipper stopped working. I received reasonable credit so I could buy a new replacement item.

I do like LLBean, but as usual, being a plus person there is not much to choose from compare to my smaller comrades; so I usually walk out without anything. But, I can say the store is well organized; the staff very friendly, helpful and point you in the right direction.

So grateful for the fact that I live in Maine and am able to go into the actual store. Some may say the prices are high. But you truly get great quality items. I have coats and backpacks from there that have lasted me 5-10 years. The selection is amazing. From out door sport and activities supply's, to clothing, pet supplies, outer wear for every season possible, bags and backpacks for any occasion, food, shoes, furniture, bedding, ect...

Always fun to visit, Linda's lobstah rolls are the best. Ll bean needs to drop the price of their brand name clothes. It's not the Ferrari of clothes so don't charge like it is. I would ha e given a five if it was not for their astronomical prices. Drop your prices LL BEAN!!!!

I've been a longtime customer of LL Bean, but a recent visit to the Freeport flagship store left me dumbfounded as to how far they've fallen. The first issue I had was I has four clothing items to return (from 50+ purchases over the last 3 years) due to quality issues. They refused to take back 2 shirts, because I always cut off the little sleeve length/neck size tab that irritates my neck, all other tags were intact including the LL BEAN tag on the collar. I couldn't believe it. I've heard stories of people getting LL Bean items from second-hand shops for next to nothing and returning them for full money back,, but apparently LL Bean does NOT always take care of its actual customers. The other issue I had was: everything seems to be made in China, but it's being sold at a made in Germany or USA price. I think that in the future, I'm going to be a lot more careful about buying from them, since they apparently are NOT standing fully behind their products any more. ***UPDATE*** They recently changed their warranty procedure from "lifetime guarantee" to "one year", so it seems that my negative assessment from 2 years ago was right on the money.

Always find something good to buy. You can't beat the quality.

The flagship store is more fun and has more to offer than any of the other locations, and it never closes!

The store was well stocked, and I received great customer service from every employee I spoke with. This is a good store to visit if you have little ones there is a trout pond, and a large fish tank that the kids can look at.

If you live in New England you must make the pilgrimage here. Huge, beautiful store you can spend hours in.
