I love this place. Everything is organized in the various stores as you would expect/like and the staff are incredibly helpful and nice.

Great place to visit, especially during Christmas. The store is fun to explore, the had santa, reindeer, lights, mini train, and a horse drawn sleigh all for free.

Purchased work boots with gift card & bean bucks & a little cash. Always a nice place to shop. Busy parking area. I can never seem to find the cashiers.

The town of Freeport can consider itself lucky to have jad such a daring entrepreneur as Mr. Bean. The comfort of their clothes and the quality of it makes it such a pleasure to shop here and to wear them. Their outdoor gear really outclasses some of the newer brands.

It's always a great place to visit! Could improve the check out service even though they have to clean between each customer it at least a 20-25 minute wait just to get to the check out counter!

Lot of place to park. But gets really busy during the day on holidays. Multiple entries to shop. They also have an outlet store close by. With good deals to choose from.

This made for a fun afternoon excursion when visiting Maine! The cafe has delicious snacks and coffee. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive, and their knowledge came in handy when picking out a pair of hiking boots! Of course the photo op with the giant bean boot was fun, too!

Beautiful building, great selection. Expensive, but high quality and great return policy, so I guess it balances.

Several years ago I received about 5 T shirts from my daughter, and I had purchased several short sleeved T shirts myself. Still unworn, and several in their original cello bags with LL Bean SKU numbers on them, I later attempted to exchange the size on all and to long sleeves from the short sleeved ones.
I was refused because I did not have my original receipts.
I tried to do so a second time, but this time the receptionist was insulting, treating me as if I was trying to take advantage of them. I even offered a restock fee, but she kept on going, demeaning me for the request. After this unjustified and unprovoked rave and rant session I concluded this company had changed drastically. I was not only surprised but disappointed.
I was always an avid LL Bean fan. No more. I keep these shirts to remind me never to buy anything from these people again. Since those conversations, Bean has lost innumerable purchases from me. As I reviewed my clothing, I am still irked by this unnecessary incident.
Predatory attitude!

High prices, but you definitely get what you pay for. Their products are built to last.

Definitely want to stop here if you are near Freeport. Biggest selection of LL Bean good that you will find at one location. The coffee cafe is great as well.

Always find something to buy. Holidays are busy, beat time to shop is open or before closing if want to miss the crowd. Can't wait for post- pandemic to see the store as it use to be. Still fun shopping.

You can spend a lot of time browsing this store which is why they probably have a nice little cafe to refresh yourself at. From hunting gear, clothing and camping gear, you will find a lot of really great items here. The Freeport staff is extremely helpful, friendly and cheerful. Take the kids to see the fish in the aquarium and you are sure to get a smile.

Go at night. It's open all the time. The crowd is light after all the other outlets close for the day.

Apart from the big boot and bootmobile make sure you come at the start of the hour to catch the chime of the mechanical clock.. Nice place to check out outdoor gear the catalogue company is known for.

The quality and longevity of its products is gone. Plus, they don't stand behind their product. My old LL Bean bag lasted 20 years. My new one lasted 3 months and they wouldn't replace it without a reciept. Will never go back.

This company is a staple of Freeport, ME. Great outdoor clothing and equipment store that has quality in everything they make. This will be my 5th time visiting as an out of state visitor. Would recommend.

What a complex!

Oh wow, this store is amazing and LL BEAN is amazing. This is my first experience with the brand and it was very positive. Most sizes of everything where in stock, very clean and plenty of employees to help you find anything you where looking for. All the stuffed animals where cool and the scenery was super cool.

This LL Bean is enormous. Legend says several children have gotten lost in it only to be found decades later completely feral.

The Flagship store is huge and awesome but get ready to circle around for parking. It gets busy.

Who doesn t love L.L. Bean products? When in Maine, COME TO FREEPORT! The flagship store is massive, prices are great, and the staff are extremely friendly. Can t wait to visit again and spend all my money.

A Maine staple. Live LLBean's products, philosophy and staff. Yesterday I was treated to a private concert with Gavin DeGraw on the 2nd floor outdoor deck at LL Bean. Amazing day!

This place is so cool! Its huge you can get lost for days

Never heard of L.L Bean until this summer when my girl introduced me to it. I have always been a fan of Pendleton, Cabela's, Bass Pro, American Eagle and Nobel Outfitters. This place is like a cross between Pendleton's Winter Gear, Bass Pro and Cabela's hunting stuff, American Eagles styles and Noble Outfitters work wear.
It is an amazing store, they are high quality and guarantee a replacement of your item or an item close to yours if it gets ripped, torn, shredded or whatever. Plus they are stylish and fit with my work wear, even for a western guy such as myself.

The staff wouldn't give me or my wife the time of day. They literally willingly helped other people of a specific demographic well ignoring my wife and I.

Mecca. It's so much bigger than you expect it to be.

The American Globetrotter a bit stale. The outlet is just around the corner. The flagship store is quite expensive!

It's open 24 hours. Go shopping after a night at the bars, then wake up the next morning and experience Christmas-morning-esque excitement as you discover what you bought yourself

LL bean is such a cool store. The store was all decked out for the holidays and very fun to walk and listen to the music

Beautiful store! Nice place to shop. Many animal mounts and a huge fireplace.

This store is an experience. It is open 24 hours a day and they constantly change the items according to the season. Their cafes and coffee bar is a nice extra feature, as is the museum festival they host outside in the outdoor theatre. Well worth the visit. Please leave your your firearms with the cashier signs is posted on all entrances.

The only problem is it is so very huge. Great store.

Store and campus is very clean (5 stars) , staff is very friendly (5 stars). Prices of merchandise are way above where they should be - the value just isn't there (2 stars).

You can get in here. Mostly exceptional clothing, good camping and hunting sections. A bit pricey, just so you know, but excellent service.

This place is huge. I found what I was looking for, however I had a hard time finding someone who could help me locate an item. Once I found someone she was most helpful.
