We wanted to have a drink in this beautiful setting. We were greeted lip service and never served. After 30 minutes despite repeated passages from the server next to us, we left without consuming. What a pity!
Very nice moment today this Monday, June 10, 2019 in this superb Auberge and even Residence. We tested the gastronomic with my wife and sincerely we were delighted. As much the smiling welcome, the very professional service and of course the delicate cuisine of Mr. Sulpice respectful of his environment. We loved it !!
Lake fish, local herbs, a magnificent bread. Light but tasty. A delight. Wine list worthy of great restaurants. Well done
We have not slept because we live in neighboring Switzerland, but we are sure it is a haven of peace.

A night and a gourmet meal offered by our friends on the occasion of our respective 50 years. The weather was with us this September 12th. A magnificent site, a haven of peace, a view of the magnificent Lake Annecy, a beautiful terrace, obviously a refined cuisine with a dish presented by the chef, but let us not forget all those who have also contributed to those which allowed us to enjoy it that day. The valet, the housekeeping service, the receptionists and waiters, the masseuse and the one who gave me a nice manicure. Thank you all for your kindness. We will come back for sure.

What a magical stay! The breakfast is just superb. Special mention to the French toast with honey collected in the garden! The room was very cozy, with a peaceful view of the lake but not that, if you take room 23 there is a cove in front where we could observe a family of chamois every morning, zooming in with the camera ! Very nice bistro meal. The staff are caring and warm! Oh yes I was going to forget the newly opened spa but woahhh, what a breathtaking setting. An idyllic moment. Thank you.
All I can say is wow! Every meal was surprising, beautiful and delicious. The staff were lovely, all super friendly and translated for the chef JS when he came around to greet. Wine from local area was a great suggestion.

My god, can you imagine a more intense moment. The dishes combine millimetric accuracy of tastes (the exceptional herbaceous side always balanced by a round note) with a personal and sensory approach to cooking. If you add quality service to that, there is nothing but praise to be had. And a point that my wife rightly pointed out: the chef takes the trouble to come and see you, which is no longer the norm among the stars today. If the price does not match this restaurant and the height of all budgets, I could not recommend the establishment enough to anyone looking for a different approach to gourmet cuisine.
Escape in love. ... as I said when arriving such an environment it deserves. ... the establishment has an idyllic setting. The rates charged are linked to the privilege of enjoying Lake Annecy more than the quality of hospitality and savoir vivre. ..is missing a swimming pool or jaccuzi or even offers of care. ..Electric bicycles could be made available.

We were lucky to be able to enjoy the terrace at the edge of the water, by a beautiful day of April. The welcome is perfect thanks to a very professional and very attentive team. As for the meal, can we still qualify as "meal", this course among the smells, colors, spices, flowers, which sublimate each dish whose quality and cooking are exceptional? We like to be surprised and that the product is "respected" and we really were conquered.

We arrived at 11 pm with my wife he gave our suite and we changed to a smaller one and especially instead of a large terrace we had a half balcony plus air conditioning which put the room at 15 degrees asking twice to solve the problem no reactivity really very disappointed we therefore had to shorten our stay in this place and change from 5 stars we were at the hostel of yoann tale very happy with the change seen magic of the continuation

Very good restaurant in an exceptional setting and very professional staff. The food and wine pairing is consistent and a nice discovery of white wines. However the note remains salty with regard to the meal and the sauces take too much advantage over the flavors of the dish.

The setting is simply magnificent. The hotel has its feet in Lake Annecy. The terrace on the lake is a treat for meals or breakfasts. The rooms are also perfect, with their balconies or terraces. The staff is very caring. A most pleasant stay.
We spent a week in the establishment, the location is unique, seen breathtaking on the lake, charming even in the rain. Cooking is a real pleasure, the combination of flavors was surprising. Chef Sulpice created us new dishes off the menu several times during the stay, a sincerity and generosity present in the dishes. Attentive and careful service. We enjoyed it.

We had dinner on the Brasserie side. The wine list indicates that we can ask for the wine list of the gastro restaurant which we do: 40 euros difference for the same champagne between the gastro and the brasserie. The person on duty to whom we indicate our amazement explains to us that on the gastro side there is another framework and that the coffee (identical) and water are also charged more expensive on the gastro side .... Bread too?
We order a first wine from the gastro card: the person on duty returns to inform us that there is no more. We choose another bottle, still from the gastro card, this time the person on duty comes back with a bottle but not of the good year (younger - which will also be billed to us at the price of the oldest).
Otherwise the cuisine is correct but nothing transcendent.
The waiters are pleasant.

I'm French, but a naturalized American citizen. To me L'Auberge du Pere Bise is the loveliest spot on earth. I confess to bias- I was born about 3km away in Menthon St. Bernard- but the fact is I have been going back for the past forty years on a regular basis. I dream about the setting, which is unforgettable; the food, which is exquisite; the facilities, which are impeccable; and the welcome, which is unparalleled. There is nowhere I would rather be on earth. I have been to Relais & Chateau from France to California and from Australia to Brazil. This is my favorite.
Superb stay. Cozy room, the chef's kitchen that carries the colors of Savoy high, an adorable staff, especially the waiters and waitresses, without forgetting the enchanting decor. Only downside, access to swimming in the lake which is not at the level of this standard, a detail.

Everything we ordered went wrong, with the dish we got 2 wrong things, with the main dish also 2 and with the dessert only 1 dish was correct! The food was nice but of course you can't really enjoy it if you have to pay attention all the time and arrange if everyone has something to eat and you get the wrong dish twice!

Jean Sulpice is in love with his mountains. He knows the people, the products, the herbs and the secret corners that only Savoyard huts can know. All this is summed up in the plates of the culinary itinerary he offers. Forget the meat and its vegetable accompaniment. Forget about products that are not local. The cheese cart takes over the different Alpine massifs. I'm from Lyon but I was delighted not to find Mother Richard's St Marcellin here, even if I adore it. The surprise is in the taste. I hope you will be transported alongside Jean Sulpice during a mountain walk.
We were at his home for our 10 year anniversary and my only regret that I had too little time to speak with him.
We left the hostel with bread that we ate during dinner, because even he is to die for.
