Nice service

Nice service
Nice host
Good breakfast
Friendly staff

If you come to masstricht for business, it is not good choice

It is good for exploring the city and spend some time with old stuff.

It s is too expensive compare to facility but it is worth for one night trial.

Although I didn't stay at the hotel, we were just there for a visit, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere a lot. It is a beautiful historical place outside as well as a modern building inside. And I believe it matches perfectly.

Great fancy hotel, beautiful to come in. Very nice that combination of old with modern. Very nice room with bath and double washbasin. And a delicious, very extensive breakfast. Really enjoyed the stay.

I highly recommend the Kruisherenhotel. Two highlights: (1) The main building is a former church - exciting architecture and atmosphere. (2) I especially like the excellent team at the reception and checkout. I have never experienced a friendlier, more attentive, warm and customer-centered reception team than at the Kruisherenhotel. Each of the other hotel guests confirmed this perception to me.

Smaller potential for improvement:
(1) Cars suffer from bird droppings right in front of the building - very annoying
(2) No 24-hour access to a fitness room directly in the hotel - a pity, because for some hotel guests it is very important to do sports and the reason is to choose another hotel
(3) A part of the breakfast staff seems to work differently than the reception staff - they appear a bit cooler, less customer-centric and more distracted - still really great, but somehow there is a discrepancy from the customer's point of view (don't know why)
(4) Breakfast selection is minimal without big highlights and variety - if you order something from the menu you never know exactly how long it will take (proactive feedback would be great - I don't want to ask how long it will take)
(5) There used to be a vending machine for freshly squeezed orange juice - it was abolished (too bad)
(6) Unfortunately, rooms do not always have a large desk - but changing rooms is possible without any problems
(7) There are no alternatives to the choice of shampoo, shower gel, and co. (currently, there are great products, but they are extremely perfumed) - I am not aware of any alternatives, or I have not been asked proactively
(8) Some rooms have as a main door glass doors (very uncomfortable as the light from the hallway enters the room)
(9) Technical problems around Bonvoy points are annoying - I was also not offered as apology any additional points
(10) The check-out process takes a relatively long time (especially if you have been to the hotel several times, it may seem like a long time)
(11) Replies to e-mails to the hotel take a long time

Ein nobles und erst klassiges Hotel, umgebaut vom einem altem Kloster.

Das Dinner war erstklassig mit gutem Essen und einer herlichen Salonmusik.

Very nice and botique hotel close to the city center. The standard rooms are somewhat small and in interesting configurations, but that's what gives it an interesting vibe. A heads-up for Marriott Rewards members, they seem to use a different system.so it's a hit or miss for them to your Rewards number, so a good idea to call them upfront to confirm

Well, actually this may be the only review from a guest who did not use the rooms. I use this beautiful design hotel frequently as my remote office, the interior is stunning and the architecture exceptional. I sit in the library on the 1st floor, open my laptop and the friendly staff will bring me coffee, croissant, and water. The atmosphere and service are fantastic, the music excellent the lights from the design lamps light my workspace. After my workday, I take a stroll to the city center and enjoy a beer on the Vrijthof . . this is for me the perfect way for my workday. . . I can recommend this experience to everybody

We can clearly see that an adjustment has been made to the concept. The menu fits on a 1/4 A4 sheet and there is only a choice of 1 dessert. The new chef creates dishes that did not really appeal to us. The hotel room prices are still at the level of before the Corona crisis but we have been awake all night by a roaring air conditioning. We did not find the solution offered to our complaints satisfactory. We will not come back here. Unfortunately

Super nice location and friendly staff. Only had to wait for a cot but we got a hug to compensate. The location is great for exploring the city and the valet parking is no more expensive than a parking garage.

Excellent hotel, beautiful installations and superb staff. The rooms are very comfortable and the whole atmosphere of the old monastery is very well respected. The breakfast is super nice and the dinner at the restaurant was an amazing experience. We traveled with our dog and the staff made everything to make the dog comfortable, even preparing special meals for him as he has some dietary requirements.

Beautiful architecture, inside and outside. Clean, spacy chambers and extensive options for breakfast. The room itself I had my overnight stay in had an inconvenient door placement, but other than that the stay was excellent.

Beautiful hotel. Impressive entrance hall in the former church. The rooms are very well cared for. Nice details were the Nespresso machine in the room and the fresh flowers in the bathroom. Very extensive breakfast with everything on it. Fantastic experience. Recommended.
