Very nice experience even for a drink. To discover.

Lovely unique hotel, a transformed Monastry. Staff very helpful and polite, can't do enough for you. Lovely breakfasts to start your day off. Some have said the rooms were too small, I beg to differ. Our double room was quite large with a large bathroom and toilet both with glass walls and doors. Very large television in each room plus mini bar. Hair dryer and iron with ironing board also in each room. Well worth staying there. In my opinion I can't think of anything to improve - I was enthralled with our stay and with how we were looked after.

The stay was for my boyfriends birthday for one night. The hotel staff gave us a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. It s a very cool building and architecture, friendly staff, and the rooms were adequate. However, the breakfast was complete chaos. I had to ask 3 times in order to get a coffee and seemed the breakfast staff was ignoring us on purpose. It was very busy and perhaps understaffed but a bit disappointing.

A hotel with absolutely exceptional design.
If you want to go to churches and always wanted to have breakfast, you should definitely go there.
The room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was generous and good. The staff is friendly. All in all a nice visit to Maastricht with a special overnight stay.

Beautiful hotel in a 15th century monastery, really very special. We slept in a prestige room, very spacious but somewhat disappointing: 2 single beds, very small TV and no WiFi !!! Time for an upgrade to 2013 I would say.

Ones of a lifetime experience! Dine in the church and sleep in the former sleeping quarters of the monks! All renovated in a 5-star hotel with fantastic employees! Compliments

Unique combination of new in old. Hotel and restaurant / bar with respect and taste integrated into a monastery and the accompanying church. Fantastic acoustics. Warmly furnished. Nice bar with Limburg wine!

Very beautiful place to visit and have an everyday escape

Beautiful and attractive hotel! We had a lovely room in the old monastery, with a walk-in shower. Climate control throughout the hotel was fantastic. Breakfast was top and the restaurant was also top! Located in the center of cozy Maastricht.

Excellent service. Staff was accommodating of the fact that we had two kids and adapted to fit our needs.

Great place, but it has to be your kind of style.
So in a very certain way: perfect. But I (not very objective) wanted some more charm of the church in the rooms. Otherwise, I had a lovely stay (except a grumpy bar man, but everybody has his days)....

The hotel is beautiful. Staying in a monastery built in the 1400's should be reason enough to stay, however that pleasure was only exceeded by the very helpful and friendly staff.

Anyone who ever comes to Maastricht should visit this hotel. Only to drink coffee or stay overnight (very expensive). The absolute blast.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with exquisite service and amenities. The room was well-equipped and very comfortable! The shower - fantastic, the floors are even heated. Our dogs were also warmly welcomed and provided treats, a comfy dog bed and even pet bags for our walks! Major bonus points! The lobby was very welcoming and lovely to relax in. My partner and I grabbed wine from the bar and enjoyed reading our books in the cozy couches. Again, the service and staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. We can t wait to come back!

Nice hotel in an old church. Mix of old and new. The rooms were a bit small.

Beautiful setting and and amazing lobby. But stay there! Don't pay to go further than the elevator! The rooms are small, dirty (there was hair under the sink) and beds are quite uncomfortable for a 5 star hotel. Really, it's not worth paying that much for that room. I've stayed in better B&B's...... So much for a "Design hotel" (they didn't even help us load our luggage to the car)

An old church and monastery renovated. 8 architects have found the perfect way to combine the old of the church with modern and special design. The whole is now a luxury hotel.

A very historical solution, well worth a visit, to fill sacred buildings like this old monastery with cultural life and people.

Lovely hotel, beautifully housed in a church / monastery, close to Vrijthof. Friendly staff, nice breakfast.

Unfortunately we were not satisfied with our stay. The service was very good and the lobby was very nice, but the room was not according to a 5 star hotel. It was very sparsely equipped and partly in need of renovation. In addition, it was not really clean / maintained in some corners. Both in the bathtub there is dirt, as well as, for example, on the lampshades. Furthermore, we could find a hair of the guest in bed. Since we were tired and wanted to sleep, we have removed this and so accepted. Overall for this price not recommended. Pity!

Room was sizable, bathroom and closet were perfect. Outlets by the bed, plenty of room for our belongings. My dog loved his dog bed and the included treats.

Service was top notch. As it is common with dogs, new environments could stress them out. Mine couldn't keep food down because of the stress, and usually you would give dogs boiled chicken and rice as it is easy on their stomach. They were nice enough to make that for him when we supplied the chicken and the rice, which helped my dog's belly a ton. All the staff treated him like royalty! That was the unexpected cherry on top.

Location is perfect, just one block away from the Vrijhof and the busy streets of the center. The hotel itself is beautiful.

Great entrance. Friendly staff. Shabby rooms. Bathroom not 100% clean. Hotel bar closed early.

High prices for service quality and hotel layout. When making a reservation, expressly request the type of room and its main body. There is a surprise that you have a double room ... made up of 2 single beds joined to the body and separated from the large hotel, which looks like a metallic building left, although the rooms are comfortable and clean.

I was at the hotel just for a coffee. It's beautiful and the staff are super friendly. Worth a visit when you're in Masstricht!

Absolutely amazing place. This desecrated church and monastery give way to a beautifully appointed hotel with a beautiful inner courtyard. The floor created in the heart of the church is used as a place for lunch as well as the evening restaurant. We strongly recommend dining in this place ... delicious. The bar is also very nice.
By cons, the parking is priceless but for the brave, go park near the Bonfanten museum ( 9 a day in we).
Small problem with the air conditioning when we came but it took nothing to the pleasure of this place that is ideally located.
