Phenomenal service in a beautiful location. They have lots of different properties to rent and it s convenient to Williamsburg and Busch Gardens and not as crowded as either. If you golf the River Course is a classic. Decent restaurant options as well even though we ate in town each evening. Love the on-site coffee shoppe.

Literally nothing negative to say about this place. Our room was nice, we could shuttle over to Busch Gardens and any restaurants we're a short drive away. Our stay included complimentary breakfast which was delicious. They even had a selection of gluten free bread and pastries that my husband liked. I'd recommend Kingsmill to anyone.

People that work there are fantastic. Greg that works the front desk I think he is a manger was so sweet and kinda helped us when our wallet was stole at Bush. Going back can't wait.

Poor customer service
Disappointed by room choices
No privacy, very noisy
I couldn t complete shower in the morning because of hot water, so one shower a day for only one person. I was told it is normal , and happens all the times.
Very poor customer service.

My family and I have stayed here four times. we stay here on our quarterly trips to Busch gardens and it is so great. Firstly, the shuttle service to Busch gardens is great. Next the views from the rooms is amazing, the grounds are kept so clean! The service is amazing, the price is affordable, and the amenities are just endless, there's so much to do here! Bring your swim suit and sunscreen for the last River and the sports pool. So much fun for the kids.

The suites are very nice! I highly recommend getting the one bedroom suites with the pull out couch in the living room and full kitchen. Just the savings you get cooking yourself is worth it. Or you can order a pizza from pizza hut down the road for 15$.

So relaxing! I'm laying in a nice queen Kingsmill resort bed as I write this!

Be very careful with your reservation! I purchased a "stay and play" and if you "pay in advance", your reservation changes to "payed in advance" which doesn't give you the "stay and play" golf rates (includes golf discount and free breakfast)! Overall, very nice staff!

It was one of the few places we visited and felt safe and secure. pleasant surroundings, good food, warm staff, clean dwellings. Everybody who works there was so happy as well as everybody that was visiting. The only problem we had was we couldn't figure out the Wi-Fi for our telephone calls. This resort deserves a plus 5 and we will return

Great location with friendly staff. The amenities are very nice and private setting is quite appealing. Pool hours close a little early so get in before it gets dark. The Mill has great coffee and a good place to get reasonably priced food and treats. Tennis courts are nice, albeit a tad expensive given the overall cost of the stay.

We stayed on one of the cottages and it was lovely. The view was amazing. There were some weird electrical issues and the hot water in the tub was luke warm but overall a wonderful evening.

Everyone was very nice. The room was a lot smaller than what I expected for the price. There was a patio however. The only activity i participated in was going to the lazy river. That was very nice. There are shuttles to take you where you want to go within the resort. They do have golf and a children's club and spa there(extra fees). There is a breakfast buffet for $20 i was told. I prefered to venture out around Williamsburg.

Stayed week of golf tournament. Traffic management was great. Easy check in, friendly staff. Disappointed river pool was not open yet Thursday before Memorial day weekend but open next day. River pool nice but poolside service nonexistent, waited 30 minutes with flag up but no service so had to go up and order food and had to go up to bar to pay and that took 20 minutes, most of that being ignored. I'll give the staff the benefit of doubt since it was opening day but not management, only 1 computer to ring up orders. Resort would give rides on golf cart which was nice because our condo was as far away as you can get from pool, usually prompt but busy times meant waiting 5 to 10 minutes and I saw some people give up and start walking. 1 bedroom condo nice, beds comfortable, close to Williamsburg and Colonial parkway. MARKET sandwich/ coffee shop nice but ran out of lunch items and had to go find staff in back to place order after waiting several minutes

Went as part of my husband's company retreat and had a fantastic time. The apartment was beautiful and well supplied, the shuttle service was fast and convenient, the pool and lazy river were tons of fun and the food was great!

Excellent guest service, very kind and helpful staff. Room was very clean and very comfortable. The included amenities on the resort were top-notch. Would especially recommend to anyone visiting for Busch Gardens.

My husband and I will be relocating to the Williamsburg area in two months, and friends of ours recommended a membership at Kingsmill so that my husband might have someplace truly spectacular to entertain clients. Last week our friends invited us to join them for dinner on property. It was the single most traumatic dining experience of our lives.

Last Wednesday, August 19th, we joined another couple at James Landing Grille for dinner. We were impressed by the lovely Kingsmill property and the panoramic views of the river. But things took an unexpected and unacceptable turn for the worst.

Our server was a young woman named Honey. When she first approached us she was quite warm and pleasant. But her behavior became so erratic as our drinks and dinner progressed that I have to question if she might have been drinking or doing drugs during her shift. I spent a fair amount of time in the food and beverage industry myself, before I "married up"...and I understand that restaurant people can be a bit vulgur. But in my day those who worked in fine dining establishments were at least able to maintain an air of polish while serving customers. Honey was visibly texting on her cell phone while she should have been taking care of customers (I expect this at Applebees, NOT at a 4-Diamond resort). She became very flippant with us, using a couple of racial slurs. And the worst of it all was when she began to flirt openly with my husband in front of myself and our friends. I have never suffered such humiliation.

This first experience with Kingsmill has left us less than enthused about the prospect of membership. Our friends who invited us have been extremely apologetic, and it seems they are embarrassed as well.

I was too shocked at the whole affair to complain while we were still in the restaurant, but after days of reflection I have become more and more angry that one individual might be allowed to affect the membership of such a magnificent property. I hope that you will take whatever measures necessary to rectify the situation so that Kingsmilll might continue to live up to its reputation. Waitresses and bartenders are plentiful, particularly I would assume as students return to William and Mary. It seems that Honey might be best utilized in something like a Hooters or a biker bar. We would like very much to become part of Kingsmill, but not if this is treatment is to be expected.

My wife and I have been coming here for over 10 years. The resort is great and surroundings are peaceful and relaxing. Absolutely love the friendly staff and amenities. A great weekend getaway for the family.

Great golfing experience! Played two of the three courses here including the River course and was highly impressed with the conditioning and layout. It is always fun to play on a course where professionals play every year, and Kingsmill is no exception to that. We did not run into any pace of play issues either, which is always a bonus.

My church does a leadership retreat here. It is so awesome! I went down to the dock to sit and think. I definitely felt rested being there. It was also a plus to have areas where I could shop near by. Went out and grabbed a comfortable pair of running shoes at the outlet nearby.

Had a great time there with my family. Busch Gardens a stones throw away, along with Water Country USA and historic Williamsburg - both nearby within a 10 min drive or less. Service and cleanliness was great all around from check-in, stay, breakfast, and check-out. Grounds were immaculate. Free shuttle service around the property and to some of the attractions was a plus. Kids loved the outdoor pool. Recommend getting a river view room as that's where I snapped the sunset pics. On another day we had a rainbow over the St.James. Overall, would recommend and look forward to a return to the area!

Although short, had an absolutely wonderful stay here. At the restaurant, had a delicious surf-n-turf burger, with Angus beef & crab. For breakfast, you have all sorts of options from Continental to American.. and there's a great omelette bar.

Went for mother's day brunch. Service was good, but otherwise it was a bust. Food that should have been hot had gotten cold. Food that should have been cold had gotten warm. And it was incredibly expensive.

My husband and I got married here. It holds a very special place in my heart and we have been back every year for our anniversary. Beautiful place and the staff really go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of.

Overpriced stay...$300 room a night you'd think you'd get a sliding screen that works...The Plantation course in awful shape...Slow greens and tees were like hitting out of the rough...I will never go back....Too many other quality places to stay that are much more worthy of my $$$

We really enjoyed our stay in this resort. We have a less than two years old toddler and wanted to find a place where we would all have fun. The reason we chose Kingsmill Resort is because they have a big lazy river pool. Our toddler had so much fun there and it was truly worth it to watch him enjoying himself. (We brought our own swimming tube for him since he is too small to use the regular sized swimming tubes the resort provides). We stayed three nights here and didn't leave the resort the entire time. The staff is very friendly, the room was very clean, and the view was beautiful. Just walking around the resort area was relaxing. The breakfast they offered in their main restaurant was good as they provided many different fruits and pastries. For dinner, we went to their seafood restaurant twice because of the nice view. I did have one massage session which made me very happy. Since I am a working mom, it was such a relief to take a break and just be relaxed. Overall, we are very happy we chose the resort and will definitely come back.
