I love the atmosphere, the layout, & the overall look of this place. It us so much fun here!!

An excellent place to stay if you have family and want to be near Busch Gardens.

I took my children here in April for spring break it was pricey but the accommodations were luxurious. The fitness center had a pool, spa, sauna and steam room and were wonderful and the arcade was well-stocked for young children. I only wish I had realized that the outside water park and pool we're not heated and wouldn't be open. They have a lovely beach though which we enjoyed even though it was not quite summer.

Location was beautiful. The staff were accommodating and very professional. The resort held our conference even though the area had around 8 inches of snow two days prior.

Very nice staff. We had booked a conference room for a seminar. The sraff was very helpful in helping us set stuff up. The buffet was really great. Nice environment and ambience.

Kingsmill does an awesome job hosting corporate events.

This is a really nice resort right on the river. Everything is kept nice and clean. Unfortunately the greens were getting restructured with earth movers while we were here.

Went to kingsmill for a company retreat. the area is beautiful and i had a great time overall.

Enjoyed the tournament I'm 73 years old the cart path was to steep for me could only walk 9 holes but that's life lol played both courses about four times when i was younger enjoyed both

Wonderful place to unwind and enjoy my 30th birthday weekend, the staffs are nice, especially the girl at the front desk from the YorkTown. Gonna come ag for YorkTown day, 10-19. @09-15-19, Sunday

Was only there for one night for a work event but everything was amazing

Avoid the on premises restaunts though.

Place is huuuge, woodsy. Everything is spread out but very upscale place

Even without all facilities open still a great destination

We enjoyed our stay so much we plan to come back in a few months. Great for kids and couples as well.

OMG. Loving it.The 7 hour commute and the discourtesy/horrible drivers from Virginia. All forgotten when I got here.

This is a beautiful resort with many activities, restaurants, spa, golf courses, etc. for the entire family.

It's nice. Views of the river are incredible. It's a bit 1980s but still impresses

Did not play. Went there by mistake, but what I saw was beautiful.

Great place to host a conference. Pros: family friendly, relaxing, views of the water and lake, great amenities, wonderful rooms with luxurious beds. Cons: business center is outdated and inadequate.

A hotel complex with all the comforts of a hotel with a wide spread of buildings .. There is a playground next to it. There is a separate playground for children. There are tennis courts. Breakfast could be more rich and varied.

Lot of things to do, great place for family fun. Great staff, helpful and attentive.

Stayed in a room in 20s buildings. Very clean and quiet. Nice pools, and facility.

Resort is dated, food just so so, plantation course closed, river course in horrible shape.

Riverview was great and meals wereally great, but the walls were thin and the neighbors woke us up early.

Ballroom and associated event rooms were very nice. Courteous service. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The staff went above and beyond to make my stay very enjoyable! Will be returning

When I went to this place, it was one of the best vacations I have went to! There are so many things to do! When we stayed there, the rooms were gorgeous and everything was just amazing there. I totally recommend going here. It is amazing.

The river pool is amazing. Bring your own cooler of beer, or order drinks at the bar. Float on the lazy river.
Customer service is impeccable. Great job staff. The beds are very comfortable.
The shuttle service is great. Simply dial front desk, tell them where you want to go on the property and they will send a bus or golf cart to transport you there.
Again, staff is super friendly and accompanying.
Air conditioning worked great.

Cons:
Although the resort is kid friendly, the rooms arent. For some reason, everything is high. My kids are 3 and 4 and they can get in/off the toilet with no problem. These toilets are high and they needed a stool to get on. The beds too.
Very high beds. No fridges in the rooms. Luckily we read the reviews before coming and brought a cooler. There is a place to get ice a building away.
No lightening! The room had 3 lights. Light over the bed ( for reading) and a table lamp between the beds and a light by the bathroom. No overhead light or lamp by the front door, closet, or anywhere else. It made packing to leave when it was overcast very difficult. Glad my iphone has a flashlight.
We didnt get one of the expensive rooms-no view, small room the furthest building (35) all of that is ok, as we didnt spend a furtune, but it seems they dont care about the outside of the building.
All other buildings look clean, fresh, and the balcony railings were painted white looks nice on the outside. Our building have cobwebs everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Bugs everywhere. Including inside our room. The outside of the building look very rundown, paint peeling. As you drive to the other buildings closer to the front those buildings look immaculate.
Eight at two of the restaurants. The food was mediocre. Also, the food came in plastic baskets with paper when the meal itself was about $30. They are trying to act high-end and the food is something you get a TGI Friday's

It's a fantastic and awesome place to hangout. This place has thrilling water rides like collosial curls, daddy's fall, vanish and lots more. Habba habba is also great where you can fasten your life jackets and enjoy swimming. You can enjoy for a whole day over here. Great place to leisure with family and friends.

Delicious dinner at the Eagles restaurant at the golf course! Will be back.

Amazing - particularly the housekeeping and lost and found departments. They deserve all the praise - the woman I spoke with over the phone with the British accent was super responsive and the housekeeping employees were prompt with cleaning our room each day and super professional. I am so impressed with the service in those two departments! Highly recommend.

Loved the whole experience. Only thing I wish they had was a Turkey option for breakfast, since many people dont eat pork.

Beautiful venue, the view of the river is very nice, hospitable staff, and good food

This is a very high end, good looking resort. They had four restaurants to choose from and two pools including a lazy river. My son and daughter loved the pools and even enjoyed the slides and for the first time, my son had fun on a lazy river. Highly recommend this location, plus, it's only nine minutes away from Busch gardens.

We came here with or twin 11 year old and 12 year old. They love being able to roam and discover new things. Staff is kind and friendly.

A great resort with beautiful views and an accommodating staff. We loved the Sunday Night Dinner Buffet. Pools were clean and lazy river a blast. Small slide for kids that I wish we all could have used! Will return soon for a getaway!

Parking was a little bit of an issue. But over all staff is nice, rooms are clean, close to Busch gardens. Pool is fun too

Beautiful Resort, dinner over the golf course was a nice treat! Spa/Pools were well kept. The rooms with the view of the James River were stunning. Lots to do onsite as well as shuttles to nearby attractions.

The property is beautiful and the amenities are phenomenal. The staff was quite accommodating. I am baffled that there are no microwaves available to heat up your food. There should also be ice machines more conveniently located.

Great resort. The LPGA PureSilk championship was super awesome. Well maintained.

I would recommend this place to everyone one. It is Beautiful and clean and they have pools and game room. Places for you to eat or if you book a room with a kitchen you can cook.

Enjoyed a fabulous one-night getaway with my husband for our anniversary. Accommodations were superb and staff all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We enjoyed snacks and coffee at the Mill, and an exquisite dinner at elements, as well as a wonderful Spa experience during our visit. Highly recommended!

Very lovely setting..no problems encountered. Condos fully equipped, extremely clean and comfortable, even pull out couch comfortable sleep.

Stayed for a wedding 5 days and played golf one day. Both the resort, the wedding venue, and the golf course were top notch. Beautiful views right next to the James River.

There's nothing here not to love. Staff, fellow guests, food, oh my gawsh the food, ammenities, things to do, the attention to detail on everything is phenomenal. Our front desk assistant, Janice, just awesome. Thanks for everything!

Spa, and gym facilities are great. Perfect location for a couple's weekend away, even if you don't golf (I don't).

Soft comfy bed, but rooms are small. Great pool for the kids.

Excellent buffet breakfast. First rate golf courses. Okay rooms.

Poor customer service. Incredibly poor environment. Everything is done on the cheap and when you ask for assistance, they are unable to offer any. I would never recommend this hotel

Although the facility is very nice, it's not good if you arrive late. I pulled in at 9.45pm and checked in, asking about food service the front desk gave me my options. I headed to the bar and inquired about getting the menu, the bartender said he come right back. when he returned I asked to place an order, he told me that kitchen closed at 10:00 and I missed it by 4 minutes and I could not get any food. he suggested that I utilize room service , after I drove to my room I called room service, at 10:30 at night it was a 60 to 80 minute wait for food delivery. In addition, all the parking spaces were taken and had to walk a quarter mile to my room in the rain. For the amount of money you're paying stay at a Marriott for half the cost, better service.
