Love this place. I head up here once a month for work and the grounds, staff, and ease to find this place off the highway is great. Super close to restaurants and other in town places. They also work closely with military families during pre & post deployment for moral seminars and marriage retreats.

Decor seems dated and dark, mainly the carpets. James river room A was too warm. The bathroom was great and the staff in the bathroom was polite and kept it organized. The lunch with rye bread seemed stale. Didn't feel it was sanitary with the food out on tables and everyone walking around picking seats and talking over the food.

It was wonderful. The wait staff was friendly and very efficient in their duties. It was very nice hearing "my pleasure" when we asked for something. Hats off to management for their policies. Great experience.

We stayed at Kings Mill resort because of the proximity to Busch gardens and it was perfect. They had shuttles that take you directly to Busch gardens and this end up being very convinent. The resort was also had a very comfortable feeling and was super peaceful. It was great for walks, just relaxing at the marina or in the hot tub and for just going for a casual golf outing. Great place to get away and have a relaxing time

A private resort that is excellent in service and amenities. They offer spas and fitness services, breakfast, lunch and dinner meals in two different buildings within the resort. Their inside pool is fabulous, the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi is an amazing chance to relax and become stress free. There sampler massage is something to mention every day. You get to choose one body oil to be massaged with, I chose the rose oil. There are plenty of closed areas for ladies for those who honor privacy and religious practices. Their prices are fair for the amount of luxury you experience in your stay. I will go back again and I will bring family and friends.

The only major complaint I have is how far away the resort was from my home!

All the staff were on point and very responsive.

The cottages were clean and include a full kitchen.

Not a folder but some sort of PGA tournament is hosted here.

Hope to come back during the summer and take the shuttle to Busch Gardens.

Depends on the room you get. While they have a lot of deluxe rooms available, the basic rooms offered are unsatisfactory. We tried one, and near as we could tell it is basically a guest bedroom to a larger unit with just an outside door added. Yes you could lock the connecting door, but the room was the smallest hotel room I have ever been in, and therefore was extremely overpriced. The larger rooms are nice, but best the smaller basic rooms.

Came for a weekend stay over night as we had reservations at the Elements 1010. We started out with the sizzlin mushroom appetizer and a cup of crab soup. I ordered the chefs special which was a spicy, blackened swordfish with crawfish risotto and asparagus as my boyfriend had the other chef special which was a New York strip with sweet potatoes and oyster mushrooms. All four dishes were absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this resort as well as this restaurant to anyone and everyone! The service as well as the drinks were on point. Not to mention clean, organized rooms. We will definitely be back!

This resort is absolutely above and beyond in every aspect. We stayed in the river view condo in February with incredible views of the James River. The rooms are very spacious, clean and recently updated. All of the resort restaurants are great with impeccable service and pay close attention to detail. The resort has three golf courses. All of them are in great shape especially the River Course which is a must play bucket list course. My wife and I utilized the shuttle service to navigate throughout the resort. All of the drivers were very friendly and prompt. If you plan to visit Williamsburg in the near future I certainly recommend Kingsmill! I will find it very hard to stay anywhere else and will certainly return this summer with the family.

Do not stay here until all restrictions are lifted. Golf course in terrible shape. Try to eat breakfast and had to leave resort area and go to McDonald's , Not good for claiming to be a resort.

One of my favorite places!!! It had a lot of tennis courts (around 15) and they are very nice and well maintained! The food is delicious, the pool is relaxing and fun, and the view of the James River is Great! Would highly recommend to tennis players, golfers, or families or couples looking to relax for a few days.

A good resort with pools, lazy river, restaurant, golfing, tennis... Beautiful for this kind of accomodation, but as a family we realised that it gets a bit monotonous for us; relaxing place but no soul

Would give negative stars if that was possible. My wife called a month in advance to setup a place to play tennis while on vacation. No one at Kingsmill said it was member only, and it isn't on the tennis section of their website. We were not staying at Kingsmill yet my father-in-law was allowed on the premises by saying he was going to play tennis (obvious their own staff is confused on their policy). My father-in-law arrives at the tennis center to a rude reception from both Linda at the front desk and her supervisor Daniel. Without going into detail if Linda and Daniel had simply been accommodating rather than demeaning they would have found we could have played at their facility while still obeying their many policies (which their staff so frequently confuses). I email Daniel about the ordeal mostly looking for recognition that he and Linda were in the wrong with such pathetic customer service. No response for a week; finally after calling a few times Daniel returns my call and starts the conversation by saying "What would you like the purpose of this conversation to be?" How about an apology for your rude behavior and unwillingness to reply to a customer concern for a week? Go somewhere else for any of the goods and services Kingsmill provides, as their treatment of prospective customers is unsatisfactory.

We came in late June as things were reopening after the pandemic. They did a tremendous job of keeping us safe. Everything was so clean and they took the necessary precautions while still having most of the amenities. The staff was attentive and warm. There is so much to do at this resort and I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

There is so much to say about kingsmill resort. And all of it is very very good. This morning we enjoyed an incredible bike ride around the facility. each and every restaurant has great food and fantastic service. if she's to be a beautiful and idiot view wherever you go. This is an unexpectedly great pleasure of a vacation for us. And it's just a few days. I would highly recommend this resort.

Our family loves Kingsmill, and we've been vacationing here for years. It's a beautiful place that offers everything you need to vacation on the resort. They also offer shuttles to Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and Water Country, making it convenient for families. I gave 4 vs 5 stars because recently the resort's quality has declined some. It's also awfully busy during summer weekends. Their public spaces, especially pools, are over capacity.

Resort is very quiet and peaceful. Staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast is nice. There is a made to order omelette station, fresh fruit, and pastries. Golf courses are nice, but the greens are being aerated right now.

I m giving this resort a 3 because i spent close to $300 for one room over the river i was told that i would have a view of the river get to my room and all i could see out the back was grass rocks and trees i literally had to go outside and around the corner to see the river .. i recently reported my bank card lost and i later found it i guess i swiped the older card instead of the new one when i ordered room service they told me that i needed to bring a new card to the front desk which i did when i get to the front desk there is 3 police trucks with k 9s at the front desk waiting for me as if i was gonna steal $80 room service after spending $300 on the room it was my boyfriends birthday and i wanted to stay the weekend but after that embarrassing moment and not getting the room i asked for i chose to keep my extra $300 dollars room iS very nice and comfy and quiet our view and them calling the police causing an embarrassing scene is why i will not return Greg is the one who called the police

My husband and I absolutely love this place! It really truly is a home away from home. We are able to come into our one bedroom condo and completely relax with all the comforts of home and without any of the responsibilities. We love the full service kitchen which allows us to cook, one of our favorite activities :) But, on the other hand, we are able to enjoy one of the many restaurants if we don't feel like cooking. There is absolutely no reason to leave the resort unless you really want to. Has everything that you would want or need here. The only complaint is that the water is not hot enough. I like my showers hot and it helps to be able to wash the dishes and cookware in the kitchen a little easier. Even with out that said, this is truly a sanctuary for us and we'll surely be back again for years to come!

For the second Summer in a row, my family and I have stayed at Kingsmill Resort as part of our Williamsburg Vacations package. Obviously, we liked it last year or we wouldn't have chosen to come here again this year.

When describing our experience here, I always compare the quality of the resort and experience as the closest thing to a Disney Resort I have found outside of Disney. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The amenities, food options and activities are world class.

As our kids are getting a little older now, we're considering a Christmas time trip to Kingsmill for a little getaway from the colder temps of Pennsylvania. Kingsmill seems to offer some nice packages around the Christmas and New Year Holidays.

The free shuttle services offered around the resort and to local attractions is great and convenient.

I can't see how anyone could be disappointed with a stay at Kingsmill Resort.

The room was nice and very roomy but we decided to stay here for a luxury weekend and we had just little problem after little problem until it built into never wanting to come back. The phones in the room didn't work, getting a pickup from the room took way too long and service and food at everything except the mill was sub par at best. I will say what stops it from being a one star rating was my experience at the spa which was wonderful and the fact that they covered our lunch for the pickup wait.

Love this resort. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Make sure you get breakfast at The Mill at least once the food is delicious and again, I can't say enough nice things about the people who work there!

River pool and golf cart service are definitely top-notch, but many little things need to be addressed for us to see this as a four-star resort. First, we had our mini-fridge switched out, but even the maintenance guy said they don't really work and he doesn't know why the hotel has them! Really tough in summer to keep walking to outdoor ice area. We had to buy a cooler! Can smell marijuana from the neighbor's room, so adjoining rooms aren't really sealed. Also, the sliding glass door only has a "Charley-bar," and no lock mechanism. A little less safe than we'd expect for ground-level. Love the view and property, but definitely expected a little more.

We at lunch at the Eagles restaurant and played 9 holes. Lunch was great and the 9 holes we played were pretty decent. Due to recent storms, one of the golf cart bridges was still managed, but other than that, the staff we ran into was very friendly

Very beautiful resort. Clean, comfortable, and staffed with friendly helpful people. Wonderful swimming facilities. Great food. The very heart of American history comes to life right here.

River Golf Course- Great layout. Fair off the tee. Lightning fast putts downhill. Some bare spots around greens and some weeds as well. Don't really expect that on a $110-$160 course. Still worth a play.
