Excellent in every way! Our favorite place to stay in Williamsburg!
Not what it used to be. Daily specials at restaurants are gone. Spa is still great but you have to be a member or staying on property.
The food, entertainment, atmosphere and staff were great. Couldn't ask for a better experience!
Beautiful place, great amenities, attentive and courteous staff, well worth the $$
Visited with my sisters for Mother s Day weekend. The front desk and concierge staff were very pleasant. Other guests were
pleasant and welcoming. However, it only takes one to ruin everything. The manager and staff at the Grille restaurant were rude, evasive and downright racist. Being the only African American group there that night -we were the last to be seated and last to be served. Wouldn t have been so obvious, if staff hadn t tried so hard to avoid us. Guess what? It s 2018 and I will not spend my money at facilities that continue to practice 1860 policies. I m very disappointed as I had visited this location @ 10 years ago and had a very pleasant experience. Too bad they ve regressed. The one star I had to give is one too many.
Expensive, but nice place! Drinks at the pool had lots of alcohol
What a gem! This place is fantastic. From the drive up, river views to the newly updated rooms and cottages. So many great things here and in the area to see and do.
Where we have stayed there with our extended family we always stay in a villa by the river. The food is wonderful. We were there for the grand illumation in colonial Williamsburg. Kingsmill arranged rides to and from the colonial area. it is always a wonderful place !
Clean rooms, great views. Golf course is very nice as well. Would highly recommend this place for family and golfers. Lots of police cars though, so be careful when driving on the resort.
Was a lovely room with a decent view of the golf course.
Great place to stay while in Williamsburg. It is close to downtown and to Busch Gardens. It is a beautiful well kept condominium complex.
Nice, but... Food was a disaster. 1/2 our group got sick and they served the same leftovers two days in a row for lunch.
Amazing rooms, great golf course, I had a great time and can't wait to come back.
This place is absolutely amazing! My wife and I stayed for a week, and loved every second of it! There are plenty activities to partake in, including water activities, tennis, fishing, golf, the spa, pools, and more! My only advice is to check the resort schedule, along with Busch garden's schedule if you're planning on visiting that too. Some things are only open on certain days in the resort.
Our stay was incredible. Staff was very helpful and courteous and we lived having wood fires in the evenings.
Although the effort put toward the SSAI banquet was understood, the event in particular turned out to be enjoyable. However, several issus should be noted, such as that some of the decorative lighting was placed on the floor in unsafe locations. My girlfriend, who has to use a cane, almost fell down after being blinded by the lights, which were pointing at an upward angle toward faces, being unable to see the large light structurr on the floor. Also, the restrooms were located incredibly far from the main ballroom, which presents issues for people with mobility issues. The salad was almost impossible to eat, as the contents of the salad were mostly long greens that were impossible to spear on a fork. The chicken was rather dry. The couscous was quite good and the salmon was good. Either way, I found it very shocking that this prestigious venue was so poorly accomodating to people with mobility issues. I was eventually able to procure a wheelchair from the front desk, but at this point we had already been burdened and nearly injured by the lack of general, and what I had always assumed to be a legal, accommodation.
Very clean and staff was both helpful and friendly. We will definitely be going back.
It was awesome. After our scheduled party they had shuttles for everyone to get back to the room.
Beautiful golf course
Beautiful views of the James River
Lots of eagles and ospreys
And other wildlife
Beautiful place loved the spa. Super friendly shuttle drivers. So close to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. Loved the tennis shop and grill fabulous steak in the main Restaurant.
Room and service was good. Went out of season, so not much to do at the resort with the kids. Would have been much better if I played golf.
Clean rooms, excellent service and breathtaking views. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.
Quality facilities, service,.and.food. The grounds are in a beautiful setting.
This is a very beautiful resort, all staff were very friendly with exceptional customer service. Would highly recommend for any event or a just because!
Good place to vacation. Staff very attentive and friendly
Enjoyed a buffet dinner for a professional event. Food was tasty, and the staff was able to provide a wheelchair upon request.
Phenomenal!!!!! Such a beautiful place, and I can't wait to go back This is the perfect place for a family getaway. It's very close to the historical Colonial Williamsburg and also close to the main shops and Richmond Rd also.
Great place to stay close to Bush Gardens. Really friendly staff and very courteous. I'll definitely recommend it.
Will make this our annual stop before Busch gardens
This place was great! Very clean facilities, plenty to do with the whole family and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!
This place fulfilled my every expectation. I will try to plan a vacation here again In the near future. I kept trying to find out about the breakfast buffet before we booked. So i will let you in on another great secret. It was a delight. They even choose different potatoe choices each day and pancake or waffle or french toast for each day. I thought this was soecial
Everyone is really friendly and helpful here. Special mention to Carla R, Greg, and David. Mike, Kevin and Vinny at the Marina were awesome - we enjoyed the SUP session quite a bit. Calm waters, beautiful weather. The lazy river is another winner - short but relaxing. Will definitely be back!! Thank you for a great time!
Very nicely kept, friendly customer service and good food.
The resort is wonderful. The room is beautiful. It would have been better if there was housekeeping.
Spectacular, wonderful place to relax. Highly recommend this place! Even the dining has been great.
Only viewed the LPGA event... did not play golf here. Golf course was in great shape, for sure.
Great staff and customer service, however I would have liked cleaner sheets. Each set that was delivered, had some sort of stain on them.
I will be back, Thanks too Kiera at the front desk making our stay a pleasant one.
Simply Amazing will definitely be back I have 0 negative things to say about this place and not enough words to explain the positive. Just book it you won't be sad or disappointed
This is a great and unique location just a few miles from Busch gardens and Kings Dominion. Plenty of shopping, restaurants in the area. The resort would be awesome in the spring and summer. So much to do without leaving the property and so many priceless photo opportunities overlooking the James River.
Very nice place to stay. I love the shuttle to Busch Gardens it's very convenient. Rooms are clean and everyone is very nice.
Ok place. Over priced. We stayed in a 'condo' and the walk up was full of spiderwebs and very dusty/dirty.
Its our first night at kingsmill and we want to try out the seafood at JLG but we got super disappointed. Yes the staff are friendly and nice and we got our appetizers maybe w/in 10mins or so but we waited for more than ONE HOUR !! For our main entrees! I mean we ordered the grouper special and the scallops. After ONE HOUR we still didnt get our food and ended up just leaving $40 for 2 appetizers and a beer. Not even sure if we're gonna try it again this week but i hope they fix whatever the issue was.
Can't say enough good about this as a family resort destination , beautiful pools and amenities. Provide a shuttle to nearby destinations including Busch Gardens, water country and colonial Williamsburg. We just booked a return for this year! love it!
Rooms were nice. Wish there were more lunch options on resort. Spa was great!
Watched some good golf. Autographs from pros for my daughter. People here were absolutely great.
Pool was amazing - especially the Lazy River! Room was not big, but very nicely laid out. Bathroom had a lot of nice things, but was a bit cramped. The staff were all great and very friendly. Lots of bugs flew into the room when we came in in the evenings. Food was VERY good and portions were excellent. Overall a wonderful stay!
Room's walls are thin and easy to hear others. But quality of staff amenities are great. Amazing view!
Kingsmill Resort is the perfect place to getaway or to host an event! Top notch service and the establishment is very accommodating.
Really first rate dining. A really creative and well thought out menu there is sure to be something for everyone
Fantastic golf resort with exceptional recreational and restaurant facilities. Great water views on some golf course holes. Definitely a premier resort facility.
Is it a bit overprised, but a great place to relax an do som golf. But the breakfast will need some improvement. Staff was great and did their best.
Great Locale for conference Staff are friendly and helpful. Wonderful facility.
Great vacation spot with amazing staff!!! I booked this trip last minute for a mother/daughter getaway (we live near Gainesville, VA) and had a wonderful, fun and relaxing time here. Very clean, the staff is superb, always present and positive, so close to Busch Gardens-and Harris Teeter;), the shuttle bus is a huge plus-free rides to BG and Colonial Williamsburg, great facilities and views, nice bike riding grounds, fun lazy river pool. We'll be back for sure! Thank you Kingsmill!
I've been there with my family many times. Highly recommend!!!
