We were only upstairs in the main building at the resort for a private function. It was a very nice area with a deck that overlooks the water.

Great for family vacations; very clean, close to major attractions. Been there two years in a row, and would not hesitate to go back.
Service is very good. House keeping is friendly. River pool is nice and relaxing.
Clean, spacious rooms. Kids want to hang out at the river pool all day.
We had a wonderful stay! The employees were awesome! The room was beautiful! And the food was great!!! Very happy!!!!
Beautiful rooms! Spacious, clean, and every room provides the essential amenities. There is a lot to do on property for the whole family. A great place to spend a quick weekend or an extended stay. The on property restrants offer quality dinning, and are family friendly.
Golf course review only. I had a disappointing visit to Kingsmill Resort yesterday, where we played both the Plantation and River courses. Having grown up a member at Kingsmill Golf Club, I was amazed at how terrible the conditions were. The fairways and tees hadn't been cut in what seems like two weeks, and rough on the Plantation course was so deep you could lose your ball even if you knew where you hit it. Several groups gave up and returned to the clubhouse rather than play. The river course had grass clumps everywhere. The greens were slow and had pitch marks everywhere. I play a lot of golf and there are plenty of public courses in the area that have much better conditions. I was very disappointed at Kingsmill.
The Kingsmill Resort is home to three 18-hole championship golf courses: the River and Plantation courses, and the private member-only Woods course. The River course, rated 4-1/2 stars, is generally the highest ranked, and is kept good company at the resort centre by the also well-rated and pleasantly testing Plantation layout.
Always a good time. All of the amenities are great. Love the lazy river pool. The fact that there is a shuttle to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens makes it awesome. If you are coming to Williamsburg I would definitely recommend staying here.
Outstanding accommodations with stunning views of the James River.
Lots of fun things to do for kids and adults. Pretty expensive though
Beautiful resort with plenty to do. Staff members are great and always willing to go the extra mile to meet your needs. The resort offers free transportation anywhere within the resort.
Nice place, great food, service, value and super clean. We had just a couple issues. Three of us got food poisoning from a bad oyster dish at the main restaurant. It happens. Also, the lazy river was over chlorinated and kids had burning eyes that afternoon and evening. Wear goggles. Other than that, all was great.
The resort is a phenomenal place to get away and enjoy yourself. There are multiple pools, a well equipped gym, group fitness sessions, and more in the sports club, and the resort proper is absolutely gorgeous. There are also two good restaurants within walking distance that have great views of the river.
My husband and I stayed here! The room was decent, we were a bit upset because the jacuzzi & bar was closed due to Covid. The staff were very helpful. I took the review down to 3 stars because I left a jacket in my room. I noticed I left it back at the resort when I got home. I called the resort and they said they did not see it. It s funny because I know for a fact I left my jacket at the resort. I don t like or appreciate a thief so please watch out for Housekeeping . That jacket was $80 and I would never keep something that doesn t belong to me.
Stayed over christmas 2 different years now. Fantastic place.
Food was delicious. Servers were friendly. Nice area for a get away
