Initially, this place provided a typical used car ...

Initially, this place provided a typical used car experience: the cars are priced higher for margin and it's up to you to haggle it down. The salesman goes back and forth with his manager a few times until everyone agrees on a sale price.

I was ready to purchase a vehicle that was verbally agreed upon, and had been told by the salesman that I would be able to have it checked out by a mechanic before signing any papers. When it finally came time to do the deal, THE MANAGER WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO HAVE THE CAR INSPECTED BY A MECHANIC. THIS IS AS MAJOR A RED FLAG AS YOU WILL EVER FIND WHEN BUYING A USED CAR! He wouldn't let me take it anywhere without purchasing it fully and signing a dotted line first: not a dealership, not a mechanic, nobody, because "of course he's going to find something wrong with the car, it's his job". IF YOU'RE NOT CONFIDENT IN THE RELIABILITY/SAFETY OF THE PRODUCT YOU'RE SELLING, THEN YOU SHOULDN'T BE SELLING IT.

Shame on you, ALM South. I pity the person that actually buys that car without doing the due diligence of taking it to a mechanic, but apparently you're confident enough that they're out there (the car still hasn't been sold and it's been over a month).

There is this amazing Crimson Tide Fan that sold me a Ford Expedition. We clicked instantly and I knew he was the best salesman ever his name is David Mitchell Jr. This is the 2nd car I've purchased from him and the 2nd I've purchased from ALM. The manager Elvis Presley is a great guy along with Jawon the vehicle report guy. I will never buy a car anywhere else. Thanks ALM.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! My husband and I went to ALM south looking for a cadillac SRX. We found 3 of them there and all 3 of them had something wrong with them. First of all they weren't willing to get the car a new rim they told us it was too costly to them to replace the rim even though it was cracked all the way through. Not a safe vehicle at all! then we settled for the other one but asked to have dvd players installed. They said they could do that but it would be an extra 2 grand to install it because they had to bring an outside company in and so on. we just decided to install it ourselves later on then. They weren't willing to come down 1 thousand dollars on the price because the pop up navigation wouldn't go down it was stuck in the up position. They then lied about our credit tried to give us a ridiculous car payment at $600 a month. Im sorry but our last car which was paid off was a much higher priced car and our payments were half that a month. Then when my husband went to look at the paper with the numbers on it, the dealer ripped it out of my husbands hand and said he couldn't show us the paper. really it has my credit score and information on it and your telling me i cant see it? you just told me my credit score wasn't good but you wont let me see it... okay then after back and forth for 6 hours and them being nothing but rude and dishonest we left. Needless to say we went to gravity auto in sandy springs got the same exact car we were looking at. The SRX, for a thousand dollars cheaper with the monthly payments we wanted and they showed us our credit which was a good score, and with 20 thousand less miles on the car and they are installing the DVD players in the car for only $800. Also, they gave us a loaner car and when the car is finished they will drive it to our house for us. and this was all in half of the time as we wasted on Saturday. Serious waste of time to go to ALM. If your looking for a luxury car I would take the drive to Gravity auto in sandy springs. nothing but excellent service from everyone there from dealer to financing.

Thank you soo much for your great employee service! Kim Kellam really took great care of me from the moment that we met!! Fortunately, I was her very first customer here because it was her first day!!! I couldn't tell one bit. Her commitment to great customer satisfaction made it seem like she has been here for years. Also Mike Falanga did a great job as well with my diagnostic and rental car also my rental car rate. Hammond Ford was also very friendly and helpful with my rental car situation. You guys here at ALM KIA are very blessed and fortunate to have such great employees who are dedicated to great service. Wedell also gave me great service when he sold me this vehicle. I just bought a Nissan 370z and it hasn't been 30 days before my rear brakes went out. They took care of the brakes and everything else that was a problem for free. Thanks Jerry Howell and the manger over service.

Very unprofessional. Charged wrong fees and taxes. Did not send out registration paperwork to the government until more than a month after purchasing vehicle. No calls no flow ups when the registration service they used called to inform them of their errors. Stay away from this dealership!

I'd like to tell you that I had a pleasant car buy...

I'd like to tell you that I had a pleasant car buying experience and that I recommend ALM South to any and all who want phenomenal cars sold to them by honest and trustworthy sales representatives.....but that would be a lie, because the truth is that I never even made it to the dealership. Why? Well the long story made short is that I'm an Officer for the state of Georgia and I pride myself on being up front and honest with people, so when it came to ALM South's salesmen Shawn Cabell I was no different, I told him what my wife was working with in terms of credit and her trade-in, Shawn Cabell told me that "he could get the deal done and all I'd have to do is get my wife to fill out a credit application." I asked him specifically if he was going to call me back after the credit application was submitted, and this coward told me yes of course. I call ALM South on April 8th at 2:46pm, today is Monday 11th 2016 and I've yet to hear anything (not that I want them to even dial my number at this point) the point is that if I or anyone for that matter takes the time to give you all the facts up front and allow you to run their credit, at the very least you could have the decency to let them know whats going on regardless of its good news or bad. I thought Shawn gave ALM South a bad name, but after reading a plethora of reviews on this place, I realize Shawn did me a favor by not calling back. Anything lost can be found again except time wasted, and if Shawn is a representation of what ALM South is all about, DON'T WASTE YOURS!!!

One of the female sales was very rude, I believe her name was Briana, she didn t even wanted to help us. after we purchased the car there was some scratches so we left it There to get it fixed and detailed we came back after 6 days car still wasn t ready after we was told it will be. When we call to check I was on hold for 53 min. And our sales was walking by as if nothing happened . I felt like once they get your money you are not important to them. After we wait so long car still wasn t clean. Please go to another dealer that appreciate your presence. DONOT SHOP HERE!!

We purchased a car April 26. We had the car picked out before we arrived on the lot. It took them 6 hours to do paperwork. 6 hours! Now, 7 weeks later we still don't have a tag and my calls are getting blown off. The finance manager leaves his voicemail full (for real, I dare you to try to get him on the phone). They told my wife the tag was our problem, go to DMV. Do not ever go to this dealership.

She was patient and listened to my needs and immediately began to search. She found the prefect match and I was excited but calm . Moving on to the finance department Josh Taylor has the magic touch because he made me the happiest person today . My payment is cheaper than I expected and no down payment!!! Shady business practices and unethical behavior. They will continuously negotiate and "work with you", when you come to an agreement and get there to sign for the car, they tell you its been sold. Then they try to sell you another car (that you haven't researched)...that's when the unethical behavior begins.
There was a man that said they sold a car from under him previously at this place. I know I don't have the best credit but dont bs me about a car. Honesty gets you EVERYWHERE

Now I have to go through the trouble of filing complaints with the BBB and consumer affairs. I was told the auto that I was purchasing was a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO)Kia. It was also advertised on their website as CPO. However the auto I took home did not have an emmisions inspection completed or the 164 point inspection. I was told by Chris Gant the saleman I was not given a temporary tag because the dealership ran out of paper to print the tag. When I return 2 days later to get the tag and the CPO paperwork the finance guy Kevin told me that the car needed an emmissions before he could give me a temporary tag. He stated I could get it done or bring it back and they could do it. I ask him why was the car release before this was done and he said the salesman Chris Gant should have told me. This not the first time I purchased an auto but the folks at this dealership have no accountability. Not one person has accepted responsiblity to get these issues resolved. Buyer Beware Of This Dealership!!!

I bought a used 2018 Silverado from here and was pleased all the way up till the very end. The saleswoman was very professional and nice and more than willing to work with me. We came to an agreement on the price, and I showed up there the following Monday to pick up the vehicle. Despite having the agreement and assurance that my price was locked in, upon sitting down with the finance department (this vehicle was bought outright by the way), I was told there would be an additional $250+ added to my bill for no clear reason. After trying to discuss it with the finance department, I was given the excuse that "there was no way of knowing about the additional cost until we got to this point"...Needless to say, I was not pleased. After finishing up there, I was essentially showed out of the finance department and left out front without any clear indication of what to do from there...Once I finally received the vehicle, I headed home. About an hour into my trip, I looked at the dash to realize the check engine light was on...After making contact with ALM, I was told to take it to a Chevrolet dealership so that "they could handle it"...I also brought up the $250+ that I felt I was wrongfully charged for and was told they'd look into it for me and call me back immediately... As expected, I have yet to hear a word back...

I don't like the way I was rushed through the explanation of charges by the service advisor Tara. I still feel something was not right and I was over charged, but the way the invoice is itemized it makes it difficult.

In the past when I went my car was Vacuumed, not this time.

I don't leave reviews typically, but after the service I received this seems necessary. The sales tactics I were not pushy. It was more of a conversation determined to put me in the right car for me. Financing was a breeze even with my less than stellar credit (which I was not expecting from a place with luxury in the name). From the sales team (Shaq and Mr. Samuel) to finance (Jay Moore), and finally the guy who got me straight as we were leaving (Jawan) thank you!

The car that we arranged to test drive had already been sold three days earlier, in fact it had been sold when we first contacted Miguel, the salesman that handled all of this. He even made an appointment (which he wasn't there for), and he even confirmed this appointment that morning! We drove three hours round trip after a long day at work Monday for nothing. I wouldn't even bother contacting this outfit, in my experience what they advertise is likely not even in stock. Was this incompetence or some bait and switch game? They did try to sell us a more expensive car once they had us there so I'm inclined to think the latter.

Sales guys and front desk staff here are very nice and friendly. They dont try to push you towards anything; however, be careful of using them for financing - they will run multiple hard credit checks from numerous lenders, even though they said specifically to me it would be ONE check.

When buying a luxury vehicle, you deserve to have a luxury salesperson (not some over tired annoyed to have to do his job but he was nice enough, just not a good salesman to us) , be offered luxury coffee and a luxury snack...
