A very poor buying experience overall. I have purchased numerous cars over the years from several dealerships in CT, all of whom were more professional and customer centric. Volvo Danbury made several errors on crediting deposit and could not "find" a wire transfer that had been sitting in their account for three days. Still waiting for my registration several weeks later with temporary/transit about to expire. Good car, terrible dealership.

Service is always a challenge. Have had several issues with the Danbury Volvo service department over time. Once so bad that they returned me my car without connecting one of the radiator hoses. So 1/2 mile into my drive home the car was billowing smoke. My experience with them has always been hit or miss.

Wonderful service. I have leased and serviced a number of Volvos over many years at Volvo of Danbury. They are excellent and explain in detail everything that is being done to the car. I highly recommend them and, despite moving out of the Danbury area many years ago, I still go up there for all of my Volvo leasing and servicing.

Leasing my new S60 was hassle free. I came in looking to replace my V60 thinking that I would probably lease.a new V60 or XC60. However, Chris found me a 2019 S60 at a.monthly lease less than what I was paying. I thought I wouldn t like a sedan but after taking the car for a spin I was sold. The S60 is fantastic. R Design and Polestar. Really great to drive. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. This is my third Volvo. Great cars and great service.

Every facet of the process was excellent and with us, the buyers, in mind. Please consider this dealership for you automotive needs. Quite possibly the best experience I've ever had buying a car. I had gone to multiple locations in CT and NYC trying to find a CPO Volvo for a good price at a trusted location. I was lucky to have waited as long as I did after finding the model vehicle I was looking for with low mileage and at the best price I could find. The salesman Greg as well as the rest of the staff were friendly and accommodating answering all my questions as well as allowing me to extensively test out the vehicle while never being pushy making the whole experience relaxing and fun. I would highly recommend this delearship to anyone looking for a place to get a new car.

Carlo at Danbury Volvo made the entire experience easy and straightforward and I can not thank him enough. If you go there please ask for CARLO, you will not be disappointed with the deal and subsequent service you receive!

Immediately I drove an hour to the dealership only to find out they had sold it out from under me. Courteous, professional, accommodating, knowledgeable, thorough (to name a few) and ... most importantly ... trustworthy! So many people I know say they don't trust dealership service departments BUT I have never doubted the integrity of Volvo of Danbury. On the occasions when they do approach me about an unexpected repair, they patiently explain the what and why and it always aligns with what I've been experiencing and/or noticing. This helps me feel confident in giving them permission to do the work.

They do not have a big turnover, which from a consumer's point of view is valuable. I had a great initial experience buying my car. I bought a used xc60 from Greg in February 2020. Once Coronavirus hit, things took a bad turn. I live out of state and it took over 8 months for me to get license plates and registration. Now that I finally have the plates, I've discovered that I was not given all the hardware required to attach my front plate. I'm very happy with my car (other than a break light going out the same weekend I got it), and I had a very positive experience with Greg, but everything else has been extremely stressful and soured the entire experience for me.

When I called to see if they could fix this they said yes, please swing by to take a look at it prior to ensure we have the correct part. When I went buy the very nice gentleman told me it would be around 5 hundred dollars to fix. I said ok. That day I went online to see about leasing a newer Volvo. I received a call from a sales associate shortly after. I explained I would be there the following day at 10:00 am for service. Great we will talk then. I showed up for my appointment at 10. At 11:20 the service guy comes to tell me the mirror was going to cost around 1,200! A big difference from 500. I told him not to fix it as I was considering upgrading my vehicle. I proceed to wait until 12:40 for a simple oil change . Not acceptable. The whole time I was there the woman I spoke to the day before about new cars never acknowledged my presence. I left a tad annoyed. Got home and around 2 pm got a call from the sales associate saying hi I thought you were coming in this morning! I told her I was there for hours, and not happy with my experience. She said well if you want to look at cars let s me know

This company is dishonest and I would never recommend Danbury Volvo after my 12 years of dedicated customer loyalty. This is my 3rd Volvo and my last!!! First let me say the salesman was great. He was very nice and a pleasure to deal with. Once the manager came in on the deal it soured quickly. I'm not sure of the managers name, but he was the manager of used car sales. Basically the car obviously had an accident (not on the carfax) and had been repaired very shotty. When I inquired about it, the manager came out. He denied it about 5 times, then goes "oh I remember, it did have damage but we had our mobile paint guy paint it in the parking lot". I say I was a little concerned. Now here's the kicker. He waves his hand in my face in a condescending manner and says "don't like it, LEAVE". The car was terrible anyways (and certainly a parking lot paint job is not the proper repair), but man I've received better customer service at McDonald's. DANBURY VOLVO, YOU SHOULD REALLY LOOK INTO YOUR NEW MANAGER.

In spite of a very complex and difficult situation, the service department was able to make the necessary repairs on my car in a very reasonable timeframe. I have always experienced extraordinary service at Danberry Volvo, but this was far and away exceptional. Friday around noon I called and let the dealer know I was interested in a Mini Cooper. I asked if the price was firm and if the vehicle was in good condition. I was told he would get back to me soon and advise. 3 hours later I emailed and called the dealership trying to finalize the purchase and couldn't get ahold of anyone. 30 mins prior to closing, 2.5 hours after original call, I was told that he was on the floor, that he would call me in the morning and the vehicle was on hold. I had plans that morning to go snowboarding but figured it was on hold so I'd be fine. I got a email in the morning, not a call, while I was on the mountain that a $500 deposit needed to be made to hold the vehicle. I email him and said any way I could make the deposit on Monday because I was on the mountain and didn't have my wallet. I received a email saying the vehicle was already sold by Noon! I went to my car and gave him a call by 4pm to make the deposit and was given the run around and was unable to speak to anyone of importance and to call back on Monday. Still no call on Monday after I was told I'd get one on Friday, Saturday and Monday.

Several emails later and pointing the finger at the costumer I was told that this wasn't their policy to hold a vehicle without deposit. Why was I told it was on hold? Makes you feel like the vehicle is yours even, guess not.

I have been here 2 times onxe for no heat wich they changed me $80 to look at then could not figure it out and said they would need at least 4 more hours of diagnostic time at 80 an hour to figure it out ended up at another Volvo dealer 45 minutes to diagnose a had head gasket the second time every light came on on my dash had car towed there again they could not figure it out after an hour and wanted another 4 hours of diagnostic fee same thing again I had it towed back to the Jersey Volvo dealer and they diagnosed a bad pcv valve in 20 min 200$ repair do not go here for service

Everything about this dealership was horrible.If it's not a Volvo DO NOT buy it because they use cheap parts and it costs you thousands extra to replace on your own.they will just tell you it's your problem. Also DO NOT pay cash because Jerry the financial manager will try to push you to take a loan and look you right in the face and tell you that your cash means nothing to him!!! Drive the extra distance to another dealership that respects there customers and values there used cars.

There was a slight misunderstanding on the closing costs that wasn t picked up until we were picking up the car and without even the slightest hesitation they corrected it in our favor. Couldn t be happier with the service.
