Khaladia palace Rayhan by Rotana Review

We went there for a family vacation. Tremendous pool, with beach access. In the beach there is a board where you can jump from it to the water, in case you like diving. Room service was amazing, friendly staff, COVID-19 precautions measures were restrictedly applied. Prices were extremely affordable as a staycation, specially for families . Location is fantastic, near by Emirates Palace, so you can pay a visit to it if you are a tourist, explore the real Abu Dhabi. Few minutes walk from Cornish Abu Dhabi where you can go for a breathtaking coffee or jogging with beach view.

Excellent hotel, friendly hosts, great location, wonderful pool and beach, delicious food, extremely clean, value for money guaranteed. My kids love to stay in this hotel

Perfect Hotel at best location. In this Hotel you can sleep with a direct view on the president palace and the most expensive hotel of the world. Really 1001 dreams come true.

Very special place to visit when ever you comes to Abu dhabi

The concern we reach the hotel 2:30 pm which it is our check in time but the room were not ready yet.. they toke 2 hours to get it ready..but thanks to sami at the reception he try his best to compensate us with some discount on the dinner and breakfast discount

Checked in late last night and they offered free lunch the next day as we missed tea, which was nice of them. The hotel is situated opposite the presidential palace which is now free for tourist to visit. The marina mall is 5 minutes drive and the hotel has the 2nd biggest outdoor pool in Abu Dhabi and a private beach. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is clean and consist of both a bath tub and a walking shower. Views are amazing and food yet to try.

Very nice hotel, had 3 rooms but when we wanted to pay for a late check out they told us it was fully booked which it wasn't as many rooms free and we were able to book a night online, so we were lied to. In the end we had to book an extra night when we only needed the room for an extra 3-4 hours. Other hotels you can pay for late check out, this hotel lied and made us pay a whole extra night. Not happy and would go to a different hotel next time.

I rated it 1 star and look at the automated response from the hotel. Says it all really.

It's a very kids friendly hotel. We had a room with a balcony and view to the palace.. very nice and quite.. very clean.. great dinner (buffet) .. ocean just a few steps from the pool.. perfect for kids... 5 lifeguards only around the pool.. we will be back

But every time i'm calling In room dining Ms. Riza/Risa always accomodate my request with such professional manner, tone, correct use of word and with passion in regards to hospitality. I hope that she can be role model for everyone.

A good family resort from rotana..

Their breakfast is mediocre. Great location and great view with beach access. The swimming pool area is lovely but the beach waters is not great. I would recommend.

Beautiful beautiful place. Scenery is simply breathtaking. For all purposes n intent its properly described as a paradise. It's a place that makes u look forward to holidaying there again

Been here a cpl of times...first time back after lockdown...room service staff and Mr Manoharan so attentive and grt courtesy and lovely service from Mr Mustapha during the breakfast detail.

Really great service. Rooms are spacious. Kids play area and pool are really huge and practically on the beach. Variety of water activities available.

I booked it as a resort...but to be honest it wasn't....but kids enjoy swimming....the breakfast buffet is so limited and poor....

loved that the hotel safety measures to avoid spread of COVID-19. staff are friendly. .memorable birthday celebration of my sister. We ordered.salted caramel cake from Lounge Cafe and it was so good.

Grand atrium ...Good size rooms ... friendly service ... fantastic location with superb views ... but no alcohol

The Iftar at the tent was super amazing. Everything was perfect from the food selection and the quality of dishes served. The ambiance was great especially with the music. However if the tent was bigger is would have been better.

Great hotel with great staff. One note though, it's a dry hotel, but not too bad as other close by hotels with nice pubs are in a walking distance. Great location too!

This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful facilities. I went to the yoga studio for a gathering and was very impressed by the space and friendly customer service throughout the building.

Nice hotel with a great location on the beach just in front of the presidential palace. I noticed that the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. The desserts at the bakery in the lobby are exceptional. I always get birthday cakes from there. My recommendation to the hotel would be to add another restaurant (I.e Asian, Italian, French) and separate the children from the adult pool.

Stayed at the hotel for one night, the view was amazing. Clean hotel, we had a nice bathroom with shower and bathtub. We stayed in a room with a balcony and view, the scenery was beautiful. The bed sheets smelt abit damp. Had breakfast the next morning, it was served well, social distancing was taking place inside the hotel and during breakfast. You couldn t put your own food/drink it, it was all done for you. Breakfast was a buffet, nice range of food. Got to the pool around 8am, was nice and quiet. Around 11pm all the families with kids were out in the pool so it was pretty full, felt a little uncomfortable then because everyone was in the pool swimming etc.
Overall, pretty decent hotel. Would recommend.

It's nice hotel.. Very friendly staff.. I thought the beach bigger than what I found in real but still OK.. I didn't swim in the swimming pools They have Arabic restaurant (Kamone) it's very good one food is fresh and delicious

Great place. Has all it takes for 5 star hotel and more. Private beach, big pool, squash and tennis court, hot sauna with cold water dip (rare in hotels) and hot Jacuzzi.

Very good hotel in a great location close to the Emirates palace. Breakfast is very good, the rooms are nice, large and clean.

Pool area is very nice with a kids section as well. The private beach is a bit small but it is fine for the size of the hotel. Definitely recommend staying here with kids.

Awsome and luxury palace ....enjoyed alot ....i sugguest everyone if you come in UAE than please have one viist of khaldiya palace by rotana.

What an a wonderful architectural building with best painting for relaxation and rest, Located in the Heart of AD, swimming pool with cool beach, friendly, professional staff, sauna & fitness center, large, clean, variety of rooms, near the city center & beach; shopping & sightseeing nearby just next to the Emirate presidential palace opposite with the iconic Emirates palace hotel.

A fantastic place to stay. Very comfortable rooms and good staff to take care of things. Totally enjoyed my stay there.

Amazing view, enjoyable pool. More for tourists than for business stay

Great hotel. Despite being very big (more than 400 rooms) we felt very welcome. Personalized service let us enjoy our wedding anniversary visit and the birthday specials were also a nice touch. Breakfast is very good with ample selection of foods. Very nice pool area although it was very busy which made finding loungers a bit of a challenge. The location is also convenient for seeing the sights like the founder's memorial, the presidential palace, the Corniche beach area and the marina mall.

Nice place lovely view,good to relax and unwind. The pool and beach are perfect. Gets a little crowded, but overall rating is very good.

I really liked our stay. We had a marvelous view, staff is very attentive and very helpful. Lobby is spacious and bright. Super clean everywhere. Despite all these nice details I have the feeling that the hotel is little older and I will definitely chose another hotel for our next stay. Pool seems to have everything you need, although we did not use it. I have been very frustrated about the breakfast buffet. Standard selections and not at all of any superior selections. We paid AED 110 per person for the breakfast buffet. The price is not at all reflected in the quality. We really have been very, very, very frustrated. I know about the fruit in the UAE and that it is almost the same in many hotels and not tasting at all. This also goes for the breakfast buffet at the Khalidiya Palace Hotel. But you have an egg station and you will get your i.e. omelette freshly prepared. Juice is not freshly squeezed. Never I will book my breakfast there again (not for this price) but would always recommend to stay at the hotel. Go to the lobby and have a coffee and snack. The hotel is not one of my top favorites but always would recommend to stay if you get a good offer.

The hotel is situated in the prime area of Abu Dhabi overlooking the beautiful shores of the Arabian Gulf, this fabulous city resort is only a 30 minutes drive from the Abu Dhabi International Airport and a few minutes away from various choices of the largest malls in the capital and points of cultural interest.

Very much exited to express our well experience in this hotel. Good ambiance, place, beach, pool, wellness, cleanliness. Appreciated staff attitude and support. Recommended as must to stay once.

Only the less mark gives to the breakfast since the majority of guest were foreigners the menu was purely continental. So Asians especially Indians do not have more choice other than bread and omelets. As compared to other hotel experience this could have been better.

Great resort for the family. We have stayed there for 10 days. The service was excellent, food was great, and room service was super. I recommend the place.

Poor coordination between reservation services , they kept me waiting since one and half hour at the lobby .The afternoon time is almost over and still didn t get any of the services that I payed for .

Extremely poor room service. One bedroom apartment provided to us was way below average both in terms of design and space. Maintenance of rooms are not that of a five star with wall papers falling apart. Two things that are fine are the view and the restrooms.

They failed on providing quality service to a medical professional and it felt like a discrimination. If the reason of their unjust behavior is the fact that we are exposed to the covid patient and they fear that we might infect their so called 'normal guest' or everyone then they should be informed that more than anyone, medical staff are probably the least that can spread the virus since we have all the knowledge on how to contained the virus. Does 'normal guest' know the proper way of hand washing or do they even religiously do it? I dont have anything against the guests. It is inhumane to treat us like we are the virus. We dont need the management or everyone to show appreciation however the industry they belonged to must impart a good customer service. At the end of the day we are one of their guest. Is this what Khalidiya Palace offers? This kind of morale.

Great location for great views. The hotel staff is very attentive, more than expected. One quick piece of advice: use the 'Do not disturb' sign to avoid personnel ringing your doorbell and asking if you need anything while you're in your room.
Breakfast buffet had a good variety of hot and cold dishes to choose from.

Beautiful location... Rooms are very clean and safe. Reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. The staff who guide you during breakfast are very nice and smiling.
I was also helped by one other staff as i did not know how to use the lift. Thank you all for a pleasant Nd peaceful stay.

The staffs are very friendly.
Very nice view from your room.
The breakfast is very good.
The swimming pool is huge and divided into three areas: adult, teenage and children. Therefore, you will enjoy swimming if you are an adult with no disturbance from children. However, you are free to select any zone as a family.
They have a lot of sports facilities such as a nice squash and tennis courts.
The beach is clean and nice to seat in front.
The mall (Marina) mall is very close to it. Also, a small hypermarket is at the entrance of the hotel.
In general, it is a very nice place to stay.

Nice hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. The beach is facing the sun all day long which is really nice, especially when you are travelling in the off season when it's not so hot. We stayed for 5 nights with two kids and enjoyed the time. Compared to other hotels in Abu Dhabi the breakfast is quite basic lacking variation or anything special.

Had a wonderful time at this hotel, I stayed here with my family Feb 2020. The hotel was spacious, had its own pool and private beach including water sports activity (paid for separately). Room was clean and cleaning staff was very friendly, always willing to help and clean. Location was nice and quiet, away from the main noise, easy access either by walking or taxi to most places. Walking distance to the beach, presidential Palace etc

HOTEL: The hotel is just fantastic: good food, huge buffet with a great variety of food, big hotel rooms and very clean, tennis court, big gym (fitness). The pool area is big and clean. We were there with our 6 year old daughter and she liked the pool very much. The hotel bar is ok, nothing special (the ambient is not very cosy). You can sit outside during dinner, which is very nice.
FOOD: The variety of restaurants is very good and drinks are very freshly prepared. The staff was very friendly in every restaurant and they made special effort to please our daughter.
LOCATION: Beside the hotel are the Etihad Towers and the Emirates Palace Hotel. All these things can be reached by foot. We definitely recommend a trip to the desert and to the Mosque and to the Ferrari World.
ATTENTION: in the United Arab Emirates in general: it is common that hotels expect that kids up to the age of 12 sleep in the bed of their parents. Make sure you book an extra bed for your kids!!! This hotel was very nice and offered an additional (free of charge) bed for our kid (after asking and complaining, we booked over TUI).
