Fabulous surroundings, wonderful beaches, comfortable beds, loved our villa, delicious food, unbelievable views, interesting wild life and underwater life. We were treated very well by the courteous staff of this hotel and felt truly at home. Overall, we spent the best 3 weeks of this year there. Coming back next year!

There are plenty of resorts to stay in the Maldives, but to have a chance to experience true and honest hospitality at its best is what the Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa is all about. If you can travel this remotely and spend a bit more look no further. I only spent 2 nights here in a beach front villa and was wowed by the tranquil setting, stunning but simply designed, eco friendly villa rooms and structures, a refreshing well maintained forest surrounded by powdery sugar fine beach and crystalline waters. This is the idyllic place one thinks if you want to get away from it all but not feel isolated. The staff is their true gem as they were genuinely there to help but were not obtrusive, only respectful of your privacy and comfort. Thanks Natalia and all the crew.

By far the most amazing experience at a hotel I've...

By far the most amazing experience at a hotel I've ever had the pleasure of having. The park Hyatt oozes hospitality and class from the moment the representative met me at male airport, to the very end.

The island is located in the middle of the southern atoll and you will see no other island nearby giving you the sense of ultimate privacy. The island itself is likely one of the most idyllic and stunningly beautiful places I've seen. I've been to many many amazing beaches all around the world and I was totally mesmerized by the sheer beauty of hadahaa Island. The impossibly deep colors of the ocean, corals, and pristine white sand beaches are what makes this place special. Even though the resort was at capacity (100 guests), I felt like I was the only one there at times, and often asked where the hell is everyone? Amazing.

As for the resort itself, I mean what else could you ask for? The infinity pool is probably 50m long, two main restaurants for delicious food and drinks, and a spa (that we didn't use) but heard amazing things about. We stayed at the park villa for 2 nights and the sunset Overwater villas for another night. Both were amazing but if you wanted to experience the Overwater villask, this is THE ultimate place to do it. The sunset villas come with your own infinity pool and has just some of the most amazing views you can imagine. We didn't want to leave is an understatement. We actually even skipped breakfast the last day so we could spend as much time as possible in our villa.

We had a personal host that saw to our every need and helped plan everything during our stay. They were wonderfully attentive and made our stay extra special, including transporting us around in little buggys. All the other staff were always smiling at me and made me feel like they wanted me here.

We also did two boat dives with the dive shop here. It is impecabbly run and the DMs and instructors were all great. The diving itself is fantastic and the southern atolls are just a gem in general.

All in all, this is one of the most naturally stunning places you'll ever experience in your life. The fact that the park Hyatt has made an amazingly beautiful resort is only secondary to appreciating the natural beauty of hadahaa and the Maldives. Resorts will continue to get fancier and more upscale, but natural beauty like this will only fade as climate change continues. Come to the Maldives for this reason and leave whatever overinflated hotel standards you have at home.

As for some of the negative reviews I've seen, here are my insights into those.

Long journey: yes it is a long trip here. From male, you need to take a domestic flight to kooddoo in the south (1 hr) , followed by a speedboat ferry for 30 minutes. But good things come to those that wait and this is worth waiting for. Plus you've already flown who knows how long to male. What's another 2 hours to get to paradise?

Not impressed....

Not impressed....

We are staying here right now - one in maybe two hundred Hyatt s we have stayed at. What can I say, other than that I am a little disappointed.
It feels like they have gotten used to being so exclusive, that they have gotten lazy. House keeping doesn t exchange dirty napkins and leaves dirty glasses including the lime in the glass from last days room service lunch. Sheets, when with an obvious stain, are just turned around and (despite their card saying they would be exchanged every other day) are not changed. Sometimes house keeping comes twice a day, sometimes only in the evening. And the friendliness is way different too - it s just not what we expected and what we are used to - specifically not for this price.

I have to say I am a bit disappointed. I hope they change it and return to what Hyatt really stands for: great service, great experience and extremely friendly and helpful staff.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been in. My favourite part was arrival, the speedboat was so much fun. The rest of the resort was also equally amazing. The service, rooms and food were all sublime.

The coral and untamed tropical fishes that are only one step away from the resort are the best. Room condition is very good. Food included in the package is soso, and there are many menus that charge extra. Food and beverages are very expensive because they cost 22% more than the price shown. The excitement and spa are satisfactory but also very expensive. The distance is very long because you have to take a domestic boat from Male Airport and take an additional speedboat for 30 minutes. Overall, the trip itself is very satisfying and I feel happiness in the paradise, but I often think of the financial part.

We spent 2 weeks exploring the Maldives. The last week we spent at the Park Hyatt. When people show you pictures of a tropical paradise, this island could definitely be one of them. Each day was spent with some time down by the beach enjoying the perfect sand and warm water. We received the best care from Sangita who brought us bottles of water and cold towels and made sure we had anything we needed to eat or drink. We also did the diving and massage package which ended up working out the best for us (2 of our favorite hobbies). The diving in the Maldives really was fantastic. The reefs were alive and seemed quite healthy and active. We were very thankful to our guide, Ibrahim, for making sure that we saw a variety of reefs and ocean life. We enjoyed talking to the entire dive team as they shared our enthusiasm and excitement for diving in the Maldives. We also took advantage of our 30 minute photo shoot with Usain. We were very pleased with the photos and will be making everyone jealous over Christmas with our holiday card. The only cons was that for an expensive 5 star resort, some of the finer details were missed that shouldn't have been for this level of hotel. This included little things like a broken trash can, burnt out lights, soap not refilled, etc. Overall, we enjoyed the friendly staff and beautiful scenery.

Despite the insanely high price for everything, this resort and island is a dream for all couples and Honeymooners. Expect to pay 3x-4x the price for food, drinks and excursions compared to normal major cities around the world.

Good but service????

Good but service????
I am disappointed.
It is not worthy for that price.
Service is not professional compared to expensive prices.
Also, employees were lack of professionalism even though i've payed a lot.
However, you can see many fishes during snorkeling.

This hotel is situated on a beautiful island with an unbeatable house reef.

However, it needs to drastically improve its resort services, food quality and room quality standard.

A five star luxury hide away located in the middle...

A five star luxury hide away located in the middle of the Indian Ocean and without question the nicest, most luxurious, secluded hotel I have ever been to. The moment the speedboat left the dock to return home, I had already promised myself I would return to this heaven on earth one day soon. That way I wasn't saying goodbye, but only until next time.

It is rare for me to ever feel the need to return and spend more time in the same place, because I feel as though our lives are to short and the world is so big, that we should try to switch it up as much as possible. So honestly I am not sure why the Maldives resonated so heavily with me to make me feel such a huge need to return to this paradise on earth known as; Hadahaa. Hadahaa is the atoll, which The Park Hyatt Maldives is located on, found in the middle of the Indian Ocean. This is more than a hotel; it is an experience, which will live with you forever. You will leave this island a new person, with a new appreciation for life. I know I did.

The Park Hyatt has extraordinary staff, the grounds are immaculate, the rooms are designed to perfection and the service is beyond your wildest dreams. There is nothing missing from this hotel, and it is everything a five star resort should be. The Park Hyatt Maldives is the type of hotel that sets the bar for all of it competition and I dare anyone to find a better hotel.

Upon arrival you are given a personal host. Ours was Victoria for the duration of our stay. She was sensational, and such an amazing person. When we return I will ask to have her againbecause she really is everything you'd ever want and more in a vacation host. All of their staff is the most on point staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They are all friendly, wishing you a good day and go above and beyond to ensure your experience is everything you'd ever hoped for. One of my favorite things is how they clean your room. Having a host means they know everything about you, where you are and what you are doing at all times. This allows them to take care of your every need without interfering with your stay. I loved how they would always clean our room when we were having breakfast and were always gone by the time we returned. They were like ninjas, you never knew when or where they came from but everything was taken care of.

The rooms are beautifully designed with a Zen like quality wrapped into a nature inspired core design. The architect designed the rooms so that two walls completely disappeared during the day to allow the natural light and greenery to enter your room through floor to ceiling glass walls. I loved this feature as it added so much to the room. However we didn t spend much time in the room during the day, spending most of our time by the ocean. The bathroom is my favorite part of the room and I wish I could bring this design home with me. The outdoor shower and bathtub really allow you to enjoy the Maldives at night. I took numerous baths in the huge soaker tube under the stars with the geckos on numerous occasions.

Well worth the extra hour flight from Male to get to this Paradise. They really put a lot of effort into protecting the environment while running a top rated resort. So don't expect a lot of commercial activities like jetskis or parasailing. Instead, enjoy the diversity of sea life in the coral reef. We have seen reef sharks, rays, turtles, jellyfish, not to mention tons of beautiful fish and coral. Sunset on the beach every evening was mesmerizing. Service is impeccable too. They really want to offer you the best experience, and delivered with a smile. If you enjoy some quiet time in nature, this is the place to be.

My partner and I stayed at villa 39 for 5 nights this summer. It was one of the BEST stays we had. Everything at this resort just so lovely, all staffs are friendly, food is amazing(must try the local cuisine dish!), the island is stunning, lots of activities like snorkelling, diving ect.
Especially want to say thanks to Nabeel(Speedy), who always has smile on his face, full of energy and so passionate what he does. Also our host Natalia and another lovely Korean girl, who came to us every day and asked about our stay; And restaurant manager Uzair, who has looked after us so well. Every time when we walking in the resort, the staff walking pass would smile and say hello to us. We feel so warm and being looked after during the entire stay. Thank you very much, Park Hyatt Maldives Team.

A dream-like and luxurious resort! The people and staff here are truly amazing! Shout out to: hisan (my personal driving instructor who not only helped me get certified at an amazing pace, but really understood my fears, and patiently allowed me to overcome them), Ruben the hubs diving instructor, kept him safe and brought him back to me ;-) Rilwan for making sure our diving is all taken care of properly munisa our personal host, who did everything to make us feel like we were taken care of; Sharaf - the office manager, also was overseeing our entire stay, checked up on us daily, and made sure we had the most epic honeymoon! Rusiru the man of the mid-day hours! Prepared the best mocktails, cocktails, you name it! shahum our host while our host was away! Sadly I can t remember names of all the staff here, but lemme just say they all went above and beyond For our honeymoon! Will definitely recommend them and be back here when I come back to Maldives!

For people that are curious: roundtrip transfers by the hotel are $520pp; you won t save much if you book it yourself and not worth the hassle!

Rooms are spacious and great! They also will provide you with house slippers, straightener or anything else you may need during your stay!

Modern and stylish hotel with friendly staff. The ...

Modern and stylish hotel with friendly staff. The park Hyatt can be difficult to get to ( 45 min plane ride from male plus 30 min boat ride) but the southern atoll is very much worth it. With calmer water, you get better snorkeling and nicer beaches.

This hotel is set on its own island with about 50 bungalows, both on land and over the water. The overwater bungalows are modern and clean with private water access. Unfortunately the AC has a bit of a hard time keeping up in the mid day sun so it can get a bit warm. The rooms on the island are mostly all set back from the beach in the trees giving you cooler rooms but lacking views.

Food was okay overall, the staff will do whatever they can to make sure you have a great time and can accommodate special requests which is nice ( we asked for cheese cake which was not on any of the menus and they has no issues making a cake for us ). That being said, the food is also not amazing for the price. Some credit has to be given to the reality that everything needs to be flown in.

The resort overall has plenty of space for you feel like you are on a private island but also does not feel empty. There are the usual activities and fitness centers you would expect with a number of complimentary options like sunset yoga on one of the jetties.

The price for most everything is on the high side and I struggle believing it is worth it. It is unfortunately comparable in price to many of the other premium resorts in the Maldives though. There was nothing at all disappointing about my stay here and I would happily recommend it to others as well.

Alila Villas Hadahaa, is the first luxury resort in the Gaafu Alifu (North Huvadhoo) Atoll in the Maldives new southern frontier. Ten kilometres away from its nearest neighbour, Alila Villas Hadahaa promises guests the original tranquillity and unspoilt beauty of the Maldives which first drew travellers to experience the natural charm of the destination so many years ago.

Fantastic resort. was surprised to know it is 10 year old, i would have expected only few years old. they maintained it well. service is excellent & friendly and their management insure proper follow up. food was supperbbbb both Master chiefs Pablo and Luca do magic in the kitchen. i experienced every special evening and gave every silly request and got them delivered. been coming to Maldives for 12 years now and this duo cheif make the other resorts to shame. beach is really good but comparable to some of the other resorts i have been too. however beach at villa direct was fantastic we really never had to go to the public area except for sun set.

we took the beach villa with pool and was great for our 4 year old girl. it was deep enough that she can still walk and we feel safe. villa design was perfect better than most over rated resorts in Maldives with spacious room big enough for a whole extra bed, toys and imaginary friends. bathrooms were big for good size family to use with a shower indoor and outdoor and loads of closet space + 4 suitcases.

really wish they had a kids club but we came knowing they didn't have one so it is on us.

one thing bothersome is the resort is the farthest we have ever been. 1 hour by domestic flight then 30 min by boat ride. its really exhausting if ur coming from long flight so i would come here only if ur spending a week at least. we spent 8 days and was fantastic. but would come here again especially since value for money its much more worth it.

We stayed at the Park Hyatt Maldives for our honeymoon. It was incredible. The food was amazing and the over water bungalow as well as the pool villa were both immaculate. Above all, the staff at this resort were so hospitable and kind we felt sad leaving. Our personal concierge was Natalia and she went above and beyond anything we could have expected. She checked in daily and reviewed our schedule as well as made any changes or additions for excursions or reservations. The traditional Maldivian fishing trip and dinner on the beach is definitely recommended. The scuba diving was more beautiful than anywhere we have ever done it. We couldn't have imagined having a more beautiful setting for our honeymoon.

This place is INCREDIBLE!!!!! I would give this 10 stars if that was an option. You feel like you are on your own island. There are only 51 rooms and lots of fun activities and things to do. 24 hour room service. The chef will make you anything you want and the food is top of the line. i am so happy i chose to celebrate my honeymoon here. a dream come true. Every time we left our room we felt like we were dreaming!!!

Beautiful island.
Than again most of the islands in the area have the same experience.
Assuming everyone has an expectation of perfection.
I'll only list the negatives.

Far. This island is an additional 2 hours away from the main airport
Plane and boat.

Air conditioning in rooms are inadequate.
They know this. And will be upgrading in September.

Inconsistancy with service. Overall staff is helpful and welcoming.
However there is always a few that spoil it for the team.

The Park Hyatt Maldives is a very special resort for many reasons and is a place worth adding to your bucket list. On a small island in the Indian Ocean, the Park Hyatt is not your usual luxury resort. It offers seclusion, a self-sustaining eco-friendly footprint, 50 romantic private villas on and off the water, and one of the really beautiful coral reefs in the world. During your time there, you will feel pampered while having the opportunity to embrace ocean life. You will most likely make a few friends along the way as the intimacy of the island allows for easy conversation with other guests. With breathtaking sunsets, pristine beaches, wonderful dining options, and service above and beyond, you will leave the island feeling spoiled, and contented with great memories for a lifetime.

Stayed 4 nights here for our honeymoon and paid for an upgrade and got villa #51, it truly is villa on the island, providing an unobstructed overwater view. Transfer to the resort was a domestic flight plus boat ride which took longer than we expected, plus we had a night time arrival. Breakfast was very good but the other meals on the island were so-so and quite pricey. We did a fishing charter and ended up with 3 tunas, of of which became our dinner.

One thing we will remember forever is the hospitality of Chef Vinodh for pampering my wife and I through his awesome ability of cooking. Chef Vinodh was very helpful, listened to our dietary restrictions and made awesome very tasteful food for all five days both breakfast & dinner. Every single entre was carefully made and it s decor was even better. Thinking of dal still gets water in my mouth.
Two entre which Chef Vinodh made I will remember forever are Indian Khichdi and Dal. Thank you Chef Vinodh from my wife & I to help make our stay very memorable. On top of everything, Chef Vinodh was always welcoming had a great smile.

Elizabeth - For understanding our long journey and surprised us to do checkin activity in our vila. Elizabeth was very helpful in anything we needed during our stay to make it as enjoyable as possible. Thank you for the food platter which was surprise gift for our Anniversary.

Easa (Photographer) - It was great to work with Easa on taking photographs. Thank you Easa for capturing great moments during our stay.

Overall, I will give 6 out of 5 stars to Park Hyatt of Maldives.

We stayed in the Water Villa for 4 nights and the Beach villa for another 3 nights. Mixed things up a little which is the best way to do it. Both had its perks. Water villa faced the sunset every evening and the beach villa had a perfect view of the sunrise (if you can wake up in time). Both villa's had Ultra Luxury written all over it and it was the best accommodations i've ever stayed inside.

The FOOD was amazing at this resort. We had a $80 credit everynight towards our food so we went back and forth between Relish and Batuta's. Batuta's was the better of the two as it had a more Maldivian twist to it and the food was more in the indian style which we prefered.

Aritha was the head Chef at the resort and he was amazing. Came up to us on our 2nd night and told us straight up that if we wanted anything off the menu he would do. We took up his offer and he prepared us a special dish on our 4th night. He was amazing! Thanks again Aritha!

We spent 7 nights here for our honeymoon leaving tomorrow such lovely genuine staff. We took the time to talk with many of the staff & it was clear there were many that had been employed for many years, which speaks volumes of an employer, clearly doing lots right
Consistent service & clearly went out of their way
to assist us further with a weather impediment, thank you from villa 47!
We will have lots of very fond memories from this holiday including with the dive school where my husband was very very lucky to experience seeing a Whale Shark on one of his dives.
Even for the inexperienced swimmer/diver trust the guys at Blue Journeys dive centre, no stress they will ensure you have an enjoyable time in/out of the water.
Thank you again from both of us a truly wonderful time.

Awesome experience. Just got head over heels with the dawn and dusk there. The beach villas are good with a vintage feeling.we were privileged to spend 2 days in (villa no 51), the best one in the island. It was worth the time, money and everything else. It becomes much more thrilling at night as it's the last over water villa(51) . The sunset was surreal.

A very ably managed resort island, with a good overall customer offering and very good scuba diving opportunities. It is expensive, no question, but if you've got it, I'd say it's worth it.

This is a good secluded hotel on a small island. B...

This is a good secluded hotel on a small island. Beautiful landscapes, hot and humid climate, fish swimming near the shore. But here is what you need to know if you go here:
1. If you, as I want to take a drone with you, then it is banned here and it can be taken away before checkout. Therefore, you don t really shoot the beauty of the island. You can use it only covertly so that no one sees it.
2. To take without "all inclusive" makes no sense. The island is small and you can t get anywhere else to eat, so it s better to overpay for this service and do what is possible on this island to overeat and degrade while lying under an umbrella.
3. Take broad-spectrum antibiotics in tablets and in a tube. Pills just in case, but the ointment can be very useful if you hurt your leg on the coral, since you will heal the wound until the end of the rest.
4. Remember that after you get to the Maldives, you still have to get here on the domestic flight, and then still go by boat, take this time into account.

In general, the hotel is quite normal, the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, the rooms are clean and with a picturesque view. Nothing unusual.

A jungle island where dreams are made. We absolutely loved our vacation here, everyone from the staff(hosts, restaurants, cleaning, etc) was exceptional. Food and beverage for being on a tiny remote island exceeded expectations. We had the opportunity to stay in a island pool villa and an overwater sunset villa. Both rooms were wonderful in their own unique ways. Come here, you will find yourself awed at the beauty and peacefulness of this place.
