Stayed one night with my sister and her family while visiting from out of town. The water was great for the adults, a 9 year old, and a 5 year old.

Very noisy at night. Guests are very ignorant. Kids running around everywhere after midnight, and running around in the room too well after the quite hours. Some kids were doing gymnastics in front of their parents and they didnt do anything. Housekeeping doesnt do anything either. Booked for two nights but went back home jist after one night. Strongly does not recommend to stay over night unless you are the parents who let your kids do whatever they wanna do 24-7.

Clean room, clean water park, nice customer service

People need to get a grip. It hasn't even opened yet and there are 1 star reviews and complaints about cost! Standard room at Great Wolf Lodge with current promo is under $300/night. Other hotels (not resorts) cost a MINIMUM of $100 a night. At GWL you're getting a hotel stay PLUS essentially an amusement park pass which has a $40-50 a day value (this is the going rate for a day pass at Great America). Add up the hotel and amusement park passes for a family of four and you're right at $300 bucks a night. To complain about this being a "rip off" is not really justified. It sounds like this just isn't in some people's budget.

The staff is friendly, the resort is close(5 mile radius) of all the attractions, shopping centers, restaurants. The hotel is very clean, new up to date with design. Only problem I had was being a group of 6 family the sq/ft of the rooms was quite small should have been bigger.

I was promised on my booking a room with a fridge when I called to inquire on my fridge manager said he doubted that's what I had booked and that their would not be any fridges put in the rooms ever!

It was enjoyable but several slides were out of order. That on it's own is understandable but having all the showers in the men's locker room was quite unpleasant.

We had an outstanding experience! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, clean, well appointed facilities, tons of fun for any age. Even lost a cell phone that was found and promptly returned by the security staff within a day. I certainly feel you get what you pay for at this resort. Top notch!

Wisconsin Dells GWL is better but still had a great time.

Good time. Clean rooms. Excellent lazy river fun for the whole family.

For what they charge, and no room service? This stems from a brochure in the room from the pizza parlor saying "from the oven to you in minutes". Ordered the food and waited and waited only for them to tell us that they didn't deliver to the room. Thoroughly confused by that. Also if you buy the $60 package, you can only bowl 1 game for entire stay. Water park area has too strong of a chlorine smell. Just being there was burning my eyes and inside my nostrils. This is without getting into the water. Then they got rid of the hot tub for adults! That was one of the things I was looking forward to. Enjoyed it better when it was key lime cove. Sadly wont be returning here again. Not worth what they charge.

This place is totally overwhelmed and understaffed for the winter season and busy days. The day we checked in they said we d get a text when our room was ready - it never happened. We asked our room number from the towel lady and she happened to be able to tell us - we were finally able to get in at 8pm. The lines at the desk were long and they told all guests the same thing - rooms not ready and they are under-staffed and can t do anything for you but refund you if you leave. This is at 8pm to many families with small exhausted children!
The renovation kept the elevators in the same place so prepare to walk a mile if your room is at the end of the hallway! The layout of the water park is also a little silly and not designed well - lots of unnecessary walking around the entire place to get to the wave pool area - you can t get over the lazy river. A few of the slides spit you out right by the entrance so people are tripping over each other with big tubes and others in line for towels - poor design. And finally the towels need to be returned which makes sense but the people taking them back don t really count the dirty ones and then we got a charge on our bill for $30 in towels?? Pretty ridiculous!

It was very big with the small living rooms. The pool was small with many people. The restaurant at the entrance of this vast room with a few options

This place is amazing and very family/kid friendly. There's plenty of activities for the kids to do and see. There are character appearances in full costumes. The staff are friendly. They even texted me before check in to provide a personal assistant. I could check out via text. Breakfast buffet has good choices. It's just an overall great place to be with your family.

This was a wonderful outstanding amazing place for family and friends the waterpark was amazing they have a lot of slides for little kids between the ages of zero thro 10 Which I was very impressed with they have a lot of free activities for the kids to do during the day and night story time pajama jam coloring arts and crafts all type of things The kids had a wonderful time I will recommend this place to anyone very outstanding the food is a little bit pricey and for me it was overpriced check in was simple and easy got there on time my room was ready they do check wristbands but all in all customer service was wonderful everyone was so friendly and happy

The room reeked there was no microwave in the room! The indoor pool area is small and no hot tub. Wouldn't come back

Lots of fun at the water park. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Going in the winter time the only 'heated' area is the waterpark area and your room. Walking to your room, walking around to a gift shop or going to a resturant the tempurature throughout the building is cold! Food inside the resort is too expensive and the wait for food is too long.

The resort is fantastic; I went with my friends and we all had a blast!

The last time I went there I had a smile on my face but I cried because I wanted to live there

The waterpark was great. All of the kids enjoyed it. We took 4 kids ages 5-10. We went on a Wednesday night because they didn't have school the next two days. We didn't think to check park hours but the waterpark closed very early at 8 pm and there was no staff at the arcade past 10 pm. This is just very different than where we are used to staying. But otherwise our visit was great and we were impressed with Great Wolf.

We took our 3 young kids to the Wolf Lodge in gurnsee, and they really enjoyed it! It was great having a water park right outside our door. And the bracelets to get into hotel rooms, purchase items, etc were so super handy. The staff was very helpful and kind nd overall we enjoyed our experience :) . I would say a couple of negatives we're 1. The advertisement on the big screen for the magicquest showed a big dragon that scared the socks off my daughter. Every time it flashed up there she was really scared, to the point we had to go back to the room and calm her down. If they could advertise in a less scary way, remembering the younger audience as well it would be great. 2. At the jammies dance party for little kids, several of the songs they played for the kids to dance to had a really mature theme. I realize they are what's popular and familiar on the radio currently, but a more careful selection with the theme/lyrics in mind would have been appreciated. 3. So. So. So. Noisy. The accoustics throughout the hotel basically just amplify the sound of all the families. We don't mind activity and noise, but most of the time when we were not in our room, we we're literally all yelling at each other just to be heard. We all lost our voices a few times during our stay for this reason. Despite the few negatives, it was a really enjoyable stay, and a beautiful facility. We plan on going again :)

This place is awesome! I had a blast with my family. The pools and food are great. The rooms are also very clean. Take your family here. You won't be disappointed.

Had my daughters birthday here. Everyone had a blast and I'd go back. While we were there everyone we meet was incredibly helpful. The coordinators for the party would be my only complaint. They were slow to reply once I'd booked. Slow to provide details and failed to properly inform me of their policies which ledto surprise charges that turned out to be unneeded as we had too much food and too many passes (and everyone showed). They also were not detail oriented. The silly things, like putting the happy birthday signs on the hotel door and putting my kids name on the scrolling birthday board didn't happen ...

The service was great the room was nice and the location was close. However, if you have the money to.go there then your set. Be sure to spend more than 4 hundred dollars. Food obviously is expensive snacks anything in there. Make sure you come prepared with snacks and drinks in the room. Other than that it's a great time and great for the kids to enjoy and have fun.

Our family of four + grandparents had a great time. Stayed two nights. The place was clean and easy access from room to indoor water park. I would suggest it s best for smaller children (ours are 2 and 5) and not so much for middle school or older.

Great water park/pools and rooms were nice and clean.

Went during the week and there was only one of four restaurants open. Just so happen to be the most expensive one. Pool hours were wonky, never went some where that closed at 8 pm. Room was nice. Bathroom lighting was a bit too dark.

Overpriced breakfast, nice pizza. Crowded pool sometimes, can be hard to find seating.

Excellent food..great prices..just minutes from great wolf lodge/great America..

As far as the waterpark is concerned it is amazing and kids love it. However, stars come off the review once you dive into staying overnight. We've stayed here a few times and each time there were issues with the room. Either there are a bunch of gnats, or there are items in the room that show signs of neglect. Most recently there were issues with the phones in the room. We rented two rooms and neither of the phones in the room were working. Notified the staff and they saw one was unplugged and the other had the cord broken. Shouldn't those things be checked when clearing the room ? In regards to room cleanliness and supplies its okay. One time we didn't have enough towels in the room. Another time the refrigerator was dirty. They need to be more consistent in the way rooms are serviced especially for the prices they charge. Good potential, but there is room for improvement!

I love this place! It's clean, fun, and has a lot to do for kids of all ages.

I do not normally review places, but I had to this time. From the people on the phones you book with, to the people at the desk, and the staff that helps welcome the children, and restaurant staff were all 100% wonderful. I went with a 5 year old and my two 78 year old parents( one is handicapped) everyone had a blast! Seriously the food was good too! It s pricey, not gonna lie, but even my dad noticed how well staffed the resort was and how clean it was, that you d have to pay a decent price to get that kind of help. Which in our opinion made the experience that much greater! We will be be be back!

I loved being at Great Wolf Lodge!!! It s a lot of fun and different fun attractions to do at the Great Wolf Lodge. It is absolutely amazing for you and your family to enjoy yourself a and a nice time!! The workers here are very nice and friendly as well , they treated me well as my first visit here!!! I will for sure be coming back to Great Wolf Lodge

The slides were great, something for everyone. The food and extras were really expensive.

We loved the resort as far as the rooms and venue. Unfortunately, I'm giving 2 stars for food options. Inside the waterpark, I ordered to meals worth almost $30 and was extremely disappointed with the size. I'm 115 pound girl. After sharing two meals with my husband, I was still hungry. I would definitely not recommend to eat within the premises.

For the cost of the rooms, I would really expect the entire facility to be much much cleaner. The water park and hotel have garbage all over the place. This resort had great ideas, but the execution is just poor.

The small kid area in the water park could really use a second life guard, or at least an attendant on the upper section so the lifeguard can watch the water instead of having to police the slides.

Great place to bring your family with in a weekend trip. Room was fabulous and the water parks and shops were amazing.

An hour after arrival, this would have gotten one star. 2 days later I am a little more relaxed about the experience we had. Ultimately, our kids had a good time at the water park, which was the point of the trip.
To preface - we have 2 kids and in the last 12 years have visited at least 6 different water park resorts, including many in the Wisconsin Dells area and this location when it was Key Lime Cove, prior to the Great Wolf Lodge purchase. We had not stayed at any Great Wolf Lodge previously, and after this experience I doubt we ever will.

Pros:
-Nice sized rooms
-Variety of features for all ages in the water park including splash pads, small slides, large slides, wave pool, lazy river, regular pool, etc.
-Lots of other activities on site
-Variety of food and drink available on site
-Near restaurants, Six Flags and other attractions
-Cute, themed decor throughout the resort

Cons:
-Staff/Customer Service. Our check-in experience was awful. We waited an hour to check in from the line we were in (sorted by last name) while the other line moved right along. The manager and front desk agents were completely unconcerned with the obvious issues in their process and at least 4 other guests spoke up when we did, to no avail. We were all told that other customers were rude and they couldn't do anything about it, even though it was their staff pulling from the same line over and over. It bothers me from a customer service standpoint that they would blame their guests for the way they do things and the problems that exist because of it. We conversed with other staff throughout our stay and most of them expressed frustration with the company, the management or the building itself. Multiple issues with the A/C in some areas made it uncomfortably hot to work in those spaces. The front desk had a waterfall in the ceiling the day before our visit due to mechanical/infrastructure issues.
-Retail price for this place is ridiculous. Definitely check Livingsocial, Groupon or other discount sites prior to booking. We got our room roughly half the advertised price and I still feel like we overpaid
-On-site amenities, food, activities are also overpriced - cost of convenience I suppose
-Magi-Quest - We had done Magi-Quest at another resort a few years back and had a lot of fun. This one is spread throughout the resort, mixed into other areas like the arcade and lobby. I didn't think it had the same charm this way.
-No laundry service or guest laundry area
-No hot tub

Really amazing waterpark to take the family. We had such an amazing time.

The rooms, service and water park were great. The food was hit or miss. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful.

This is the perfect place to stay and have fun if you have kids. I loved the decor around the building. Our room was really nice, my kid enjoyed the waterpark so much. Staff was friendly. There's a lot of activities to do. I will definitely stay there again.

Great water park. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night was a false alarm.

I guess I was expecting more for the cost. I would've been extremely angry if I paid more. No hotub! The slides need to be replaced. But, my main complaint is that a waterpark this expensive doesn't have laundry facilities. This is a must! Who forgot this major necessity?

Went to key lime cove for lunch. We ordered food at anna chovies. We had to wait almost an hour for a slice of pizza. 30 minutes for chicken parm and wings. The staff moved very slow.

The food was good but the wait was insane.

This is a great place to have fun. Be careful when recieveing a room. There are two sides to the hotel it is almost like a V. Maybe should invest combining since there isn't any back of hotel parking.

Facility is really packed with fun activities!!! Staffs are nice, place is kept clean. I and kids did howlers rope courses, and I froze!! Froze on the rope bridge with wooden panels and I just couldnt move my legs!!! But the instructor Jullian (1st try) and Brendan(my 2nd try) rushed to come by and encourage me patiently and I got to finish! Im 36yrs old w two youngones, and my kids who have vision special needs did way better than me, but Julian helped my 8yr old who is legally blind go through the course. I was so immensely grateful that he gave me kid strength and courage to do all the courses there when I froze and could not help her. thank you !
And thank you Brandon saving my frozen self 2nd floor high in the air on wooden plank with bell on top to ring. Omg that experience was as fearful as when I had to get emergency c sections but i got to feel.. like proud of myself , feel more alive We all got vision issues but we got to experience something really great here thanks to patient staffs.
And arcade is awesome! New and fun-way better than anywhere else, it may suck up $ but the prizes r cool! Great place for weekend getaway w kids

Daughter-in-law grandkids, 2 & 3, and myself. I bought The Pup Pass. So glad I did. So worth it. Best part. Build A Bear. They actually built a wolf.
We had pizza the first night. Pretty good. We had hamburgers the second day. Fantastic!!!

The service was okay, but they force you into a deal for the weekends.

The water park itself is really fun. The lifeguards are friendly. There is little wait time for the slides, the lazy river, and the pools were never overcrowded, which is nice. The housekeeping was good, but not spectacular. We had to get clean sheets after one night and they did change the sheets but didn t clean other areas like the tv counter and they didn t restock the coffee in the room.
