The water park is awesome. Great place to take the kids and family. The staff is also very friendly and help you out very well. I will definitely be going back again.

Everything was great, it was busy but never seemed over crowded. Rooms were nice and seemed to be very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful when needed.

We had a great time. The kids swam and played all day and they loved every minute of it. The food is a little pricey but the fun is unparalleled. We went to the Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, Oh and this one is far better.

Staff was so friendly and accommodating! So clean and comfortable! I would highly recommend this location to anyone! It was so much fun!

Cleanest water park we have been too. Very little chlorine smell. Everyone wore masks expect in pool area and staff would correct people who weren't abiding or wearing correctly. Nice get away.

My family often frequents Key Lime Cove for a quick get away... During our last visit, back at the end of October, we were pleased to see the new attractions offered since the last time we had visited. The highlight of our trip had to be Dennis Christie the magician. He was AMAZING! At the end of his show, he performed a magic trick just for me and my daughter! What a way to make us feel special! We hope he will be there next time we visit!

Exactly what you need when the weather gets cold. Our mid-week visit found the place almost empty, giving our family free reign of all of the slides. The wave pool is terrific, and the staff are very kind and seem genuinely interested in our happiness. Vegas for kids.

It's unfortunate the 1st experience was with a person at the check in, are credit card did not swipe , room was paid for but needed my credit card to swipe ask him if you could punch it in he told me no I asked him why he said to show that I was here told me that I could not check in. Unfortunately that was the only card I had. I asked to speak to a manager he told me that he is in charge any knows how to do his job. He told me I need to go to the bank to get a new card unfortunately it was presidents Day Banks were closed. I had my kids with me what a disaster. Ask him if you could please swipe it again and try harder he laughed. He tried again and the card went through. Did not apologize or take responsibility for how his actions were what a bad example for this establishment. It's unfortunate how one person could make your experience bad. Overall it's a great place for kids pretty much a clean environment.

This place is only geared toward making money and not hospitality. Workers are rude and not helpful at all. Rooms are bland and need updating. Water park is boring compared to other Great Wolf Lodges. No hot tub? Are you kidding me? No parking near tower 1. Never coming back

Fun place but it's easy to spend a fortune here on all the extras.

It was great, very family-friendly oriented if your looking for that. Arcade with reasonable prize prices to tickets earned on a game ratio. Only problem is that everything is verrry expensive, so eating there only is not advised and novelty items should be kept at a minimum if you aren't looking to spend a lot more than already.

Great water slides. And water not to deep for kids. Lady was over reacting about social distancing at front desk.

So they did an amazing job on the remodel. When you check in the kids get wolf ears- just so cute. Rooms were very clean and nice. And the water park is amazing. Also all the free things they have were super fun- story time, crafts, dance party. I gave 5 stars because we had an amazing time and will go back but food was blah and over priced. And the arcade was extremely over priced, basically 2 dollars to play one 45 second game.

Located near freeways, many restaurants and an outlet mall. It has a ton of things to do for the entire family. The one drawback is their main restaurant within the resort doesn't open early, however there's enough places outside within a mile or two to please anyone. Customer service was pretty good throughout the resort. Everyone is helpful and seen to really enjoy working for the resort.

Do to an emergency we were only able to stay one night but the hotel was clean and well kept. The kids enjoyed the arcade area. Since we had to leave so quickly we never made it to the water park

Check in took a bit longer than expected. Rooms were decent. Water park was nice but fairly compact. We didn't go on a "peak" day but I could see it getting crowded easily.

Its been awhile since I've been there, now they have security guards on every floor as if you're incarcerated, something really bad had to have happened for so many guards to be working there.

Great place to take your children especially during Covid!

This Great Wolf Lodge was built in the building where a place called Key Lime Cove used to be. It was a great indoor water park. However, it's gone so now we have a new Great Wolf Lodge. And it's ok. Not awful but still not that good. The water park is entertaining for a couple of hours, but anymore time than that and it will start to get boring. They have an interactive game called MagiQuest and it is super fun. Though the one up in the Dells is superior. The food is ok. The lodging is fine. But that's all I can really say that's good about this playing. Everything outside of what i wrote about is either meh or passable. Overall it's fine for a day or two. But anymore than that is not worth it.

Overall a great place for children, not much to do of you're an adult. Waterpark area is a lot smaller than I expected it to be, can get very crowded. Staff are all really nice and helpful.

Went for a Real Estate conference. The rooms were nice, but basic. You could hear notice from the water park in the hallways, but not in rooms. There was nice small bar for cocktails afterwards.

Key Lime Cove is a very nice place to stay. Although it is a bit pricey. The front desk staff were rather rude and we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes before they came out of their office, the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. The whole place looked kept pretty clean. We only stayed one night and two days. We had a room on the 3rd floor and it was really quiet. I'd say this water park is better for families with young children. They only have 5 water slides for adults. Us 2 adults did enjoy the tornado like water slide. The staff in the water park were very nice and helpful. Overall I would recommend Key Lime Cove to people with children under the age of 8 otherwise they may get bored. In the future we'll probably go back to Key Lime Cove because it's closer than the Dells.

Good family fun for a family. The resort is busy and lots to do. Prices are high, but what else do you expect.

A great winter getaway close to Chicago. The water park itself appeals more towards younger children. The rooms are very basic and has room for improvement.

We visited with three kids (ages 2,2, and 5), my mom and my sister in law. We planned on coming early to enjoy the water park in the early afternoon. I received a text around 12:30 saying our room was ready. So we grabbed lunch and headed over. We went on a Wednesday and it was great. The park was not busy, we only waited for one water slide and that was because one person was handling both of the large tube rides. The wave pool and toddler area was not crowded. We will definitely return during the middle of the week for minimal crowds. We brought our own flotation devices because we didn't know if there would be enough available, they are first come. They had plenty of life jackets but no extra puddle jumper type when we came.

There are several food places in the immediate area. So we ordered pizza instead of buying it in the hotel. We just had to meet them in the lobby instead of them bringing it to the room. Pizza Hut was also able to bring napkins, plates, silverware too. We just preferred to get our food a little cheaper.

We didn't pay attention the the events going on throughout the day but I wish we would have. They had trick or treating, someone making balloon animals, a night time story and dance party that we stumbled on.

My 2 and 5 year old did putt putt. It's definitely suited towards smaller children, was great for my 5 year old. We didn't pay for any of the other activities but I'm sure we will at a future visit. This was our first time at a GWL and just wanted to see what all was offered.

The 6 of us staying in a Family Suite- two queen beds and a pull out couch. The room was clean and beds were comfy (even the pullout). I wish the pillows were different. I always feel like the feather ones go flat. The door to the shower and toilet was a sliding door with no way to secure it. So my 2 year old liked to greet people on the toliet. That was the only thing I would request for them to change (and for the exhaust fan to work in the bathroom).

I loved that they don't give room keys. You are given a wrist band that gives you access to your room and allows you to swipe for towel rental and some purchases.

Had a wonderful visit here in January 2020. Looking forward to the next time!

Overall staff was great, however housekeeping on the other hand not so much.
Housekeeping came the earlier part of the morning to clean, I asked for 30min to gather my family and to get out. Came back from breakfast well over a hour and room was not cleaned. Their were housekeepers in the hall and when asked about when they planned on coming in to clean I was told I would have to wait until after 3p!
Coming back into my room after it was supposed cleaned, it was very noticeable that the floors had not been vacuumed and no surface cleaned. Upon getting ready for bed, I pulled the sofa bed out and the bedding was still in disarray, untouched. I tried over looking that only to find one of the beds was poorly made. I pulled the sheets back only to find what looked like feces stained. There is no way housekeeping could have overlooked these stains. I called the front desk and unapologetically the receptionist stated that she will send someone up with clean sheets. Unexpectedly I had to change my own bedding! For the money spent, I truly did not come here to vacation and perform housekeeping duties.
Check in staff and other staff associates were very kind and pleasant.

I haven't been to key lime yet but planing on going this weekend for I have heard nothing but good and great things

They say first impressions are the ones that stick. Well, this location's management offers a horrible one.
My family was excited to celebrate my son's and husband's birthday here, but unfortunately our stay was ruined upon check-in (or lack there-of). I prepaid and booked a stay a week prior, and got a confirmation email which I saved of course; where everything was correctly listed. When I got to Great Wolf Lodge they said my confirmation number was under a different last name and I couldn't check in unless I have an ID with that name. Silly error on their end I thought? I showed them the email confirmation where it clearly states my name and the confirmation number and the fact that I already paid and booked a lot of extras for the trip.
An error occured after my confirmation email and management was needed to fix the problem, so I asked for a manager to talk to. I was left waiting 30 minutes (not an exaggeration) before Grant, the manager on duty, stepped out from behind the counter and proceeded to tell me whatever they have is correct and there is no way i'm right. There is nothing they can do to check me in. What?!
I didn't even get a chance to explain what was going on before he came out with his judgement.
I ended up calling customer service while at the front desk so that Grant and the customer service agent could work out the issue. The customer service agent was trying to fix it but Grant was already logged into the reservation so they said he can help me since he is logged in or he would have to log out so they could get in. Grant said he was taking a look to see what he could do and he was acting positive while the agent was on the phone so we ended up hanging up with customer service. Soon as I hung up he said no, he is not checking me in!
At this point I showed him the confirmation email with all of my information listed correctly and he was just standing there rolling his eyes. Meanwhile, my kids and I have been waiting 2 hours to check in.
Finally 2.5 hours later we checked in. It was after 6pm at this point so by the time we got to the pool we had about an hour to swim.
Grant, the manager, had 0 compassion, 0 customer service skills, and ultimately 0 business being a manager if he can't fix a simple error!
I would like to say that everyone else on the trip was very nice and the room was ok. But this experience with your manager, someone who is supposed to be a leader and a problem-solver completely ruined our trip and what a waste! I spent over $500 that night with all the extas and would have in the future too if only your manager was polite and helpful, but never again!

The check in procedure starts at 4 PM but they make no guarantee for availability of rooms. We waited a long time past 4 to get into our rooms, which was extremely annoying with 6 kids in tow. There are not nearly enough tubes for the people in the water park. There isn t even a crowd and my kids could not find tubes for 20-30 minutes at a time. The workers told them keep looking, they aren t all blown up and you just have to find some from other people.

Everything was excellent from check in to bell service to the staff the cleanliness Of the entire resort and the activities for kids. The entire building has been newly renovated and updated less than a year ago including the water park. The water park was perfect from water temperature to the little to no lines for the water slides. Will definitely be back!

When my family went on the rope course the employee locked them in and they couldn't open the door. It took 4 employees and 30 minutes to get it open. After they opened the door they didn't even say anything about it.

If you know how it feels to leave Disney world resort you know that your crying as you leave.
This place is as magical as Disney world.

Such a wonderful experience with the entire family! They have smoked the competition, oh wait there isn't any! Waterpark was newly renovated to add some fun new features, including a wave pool and 2 new huge tube slides. Rooms were also renovated to include fun themes the family really enjoyed. I suggest checking out the suites, we had four adults and 3 kids fit no problem into the 2 bedroom suite.

Have had lots of fun here from when it used to be the Keylime resort. I haven't visited since so this review is for what it once was. I do miss Keylime as i've have lots of good memories here. The theme has obviously changed but i'd imagine the waterpark is mainly the same (likely some new additions).

Awesome place ! Not too far from Six Flags . Accommodations was great !

It was great. The only thing is I wish they had done kind of outdoor area.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Some of the other guests were a bit 'undesirable', but can't really blame the hotel for that.

We had fun at the property. The water park is a nice size. The room was clean. The arcade could be a little bigger.

Recently just visit Great Wolf Lodge for Labor Day weekend had a great time front desk was awesome as well as housekeeping the main reasoning for mentioning these 2 departments simply because they're the main departments that you have interaction with 1st to greet you(front desk) as well as the last (housekeeping) did a phenomenal job will be attending soon

I had to write a review ASAP! It was amazing! This mini vacation was a gift to my daughter for her 9th birthday and she loved it. I got the deal on Groupon! Got a family suite for $80 a night!

We stayed sep 29-Oct 1 which is considered off season. Which means outdoor water park is closed. We arrived on a Sunday around 3:50 pm check in starts at 4 but you can arrive as early as 1pm and enjoy the water park while you wait for your room! Also, the day you check out you can enjoy the water park until it closes! My kids didn t want to leave I checked out on Tuesday at 11am and remained in the waterpark until 4pm.

The room is a family suite 2 queen beds and sleeper sofa for up to 6. We had 2 adults and 2 kids and it was the perfect room for us. Room had no microwave but you can go down the hallway where the vending/ice machines are and you can use the microwave there.
It is hot in the lobby as it should be! there were mosquitos in the lobby at night around 9 pm and I got bit a few times which makes me wonder if people are mistaking these mosquito bites for bed bugs.

Indoor Water park: extremely safe for children! They measure your kids height and put a wrist band on them to identify which rides they are tall enough for with or without parent/ guardian in case they run off and try going on the slide.
Life guards everywhere especially along the lazy river! Water everywhere is about 3.6 feet except in the wave pool which gets up to 5ft. Something for Everyone. It was busy on Sunday when we arrived but by Tuesday we have the water park to ourselves.

They have many activities planned throughout the day for the kids. Yoga, story time, crafts, dance parties, character appearances.

Anyways, I m so glad it still felt like we were away since we live 15 minutes away lol. Will definitely visit this location again!

The coffee pot has mold and hasn't been clean. The floor is dirty. Started shower and pink foam came out and it doesn't drain well. Found blood streaks on the door (Maybe someone had a cut on their hand). Waterpark is lame compared to Kalahari. Really disappointed.

After being to the Great Wolf Lodge in the Wisconsin Dells this one was a bit of a letdown. It doesn't have the same atmosphere or charm. The waterpark was okay but just okay. Food prices at the various restaurants were high. The lobby was cold and loud. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly though. Kids will enjoy it for sure. Gurnee is a nice area and Six Flags is right across the street but we'll be driving the extra hour and a half to the Dells next time.

My family has 3 rooms at this place and I ve never been more disappointed in a stay somewhere as I was with this place. I arrived at the hotel at 2 didn t get my room until after 6 even though our check in was at 4. The MOD (Jake) was overly rude to my family because of his frustrations. We watched him give other ppl free vochers to breakfast, dinner, money off their rooms, passes to do things in the hotel and late check outs to accommodate their unhappiness while we were overlooked for almost 30 mins and then he decided to give us passes for the children and a late check out. This was our 1st visit here and it will definitely be our last. The front desk staff was amazing but upper management sucks!!

The staff for food, restaurant, games were very young collectively and they weren't very helpful. The lifeguards weren't very attentive. All the extra games are pricy as they add up for what they were. Our room wasn't ready it still had the garbage, linens and sheets of the previous tenant when we checked in. Food was bland. The water park was great though! I highly recommend bringing your own food and snacks and keep to the water park and you'll have a great time!

My family loved the experience here! Everyone is friendly, helpful, and the entire hotel is fun!
