A great time for our family of 4. Our kid's ages 11 and 13 say this is the best of the dells so far. Mind you, we have been to mostly all of them. Only complaint making it a 4 star is the water from indoor water park is salty and smells like dirty feet.
As for rides and rooms 5 Star!

Rooms are cramped, the pull out bed on the couch is springy, you can feel each individual spring. Everything feels very commercial. Almost kind of sickening. Everything is based off of the idea of maximizing profit. Gratuity is non-existent. There s currently no coffee makers due to COVID and you cannot get coffee for free. But apparently the microwaves are fine? lol. Either way, I m non-plussed and not upset, just disappointed, honestly. You have to talk to a manager just to get coffee (something you are promised before reserving a room) vouchers for their own coffee shop. They gave 2 vouchers for 5 people for 2 nights. They seriously don t care about you, here. It is an awesome experience for a kid, but growing up, there are things you begin to pick up on and lose interest due to. Either way, it was a really fun time to go once. The decorations on the walls and everything was probably the most fun part. It sounds critical and snobbish, but I just wanted to be entirely honest.

I was quite disappointed with my experience yesterday at your Wisconsin Dells resort:

A lifeguard was sitting at her station with an air cast on her ankle - not sure what she could do to help someone needed saving.

A lifeguard in the wave pool did not react when I when needed. A young boy was yelling help . We immediately reacted. My daughter held the boy above water and asked if he was okay? The boy said d-d-drowning . I repeatedly yelled for the lifeguard and told her a child was in trouble. The lifeguard would look at me and look away. So, my daughter and another person assisted the child to shallower water and made sure he was okay. When I swam over to the lifeguard to address the issue and get her name so I could report her inaction she walked into a building. I asked a different lifeguard what the young woman s name is, and was told Susanna. I then spoke with a different lifeguard and requested to speak with someone in authority. Aneta said she would address the issue with Susanna. I was later told Susanna was fired; I sincerely hope she was immediately dismissed from her position.

On a minor note, our shower curtain and liner were different sizes so the liner was not very effective.

Attended THAT conference. Parking was a bit of a challenge as I did not get a room reservation at the same time, so at neighboring hotel. Facility well kept and managed. Staff friendly and helpful on the convention side.

Awesome visit. Never have I been here, but I can't wait to come back. Worth the few hours drive we took to get here. Outdoor park had awesome rides, the indoor park was sweet as well, and the Tom Foolery adventure area was cool too. The Brew Pub (on site) was delicious.

We ve come from Michigan to Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells two winters in a row and we just love it! We have four kiddos (9, 4, 2 and 8 months) and there is something for everyone. This year we did the activity passports for our oldest two and they were a huge hit. Our 2 year old loved the smaller slides in the back right corner. Our oldest loved every slide she was tall enough to go on. My husband loved the body boarding. It s an awesome resort that you never have to leave while you re there. We can t wait for our next visit!

We had ice cream and other desserts at the Sweet Hut in the Kalahari Resort. We stop everytime we are in the Dells. They have a great selection. The hotel lobby is the nicest in the Dells. There is also a coffee shop with really original desserts. I had a toffee cheesecake which was very good. There are also 2 gift shops there and a restaurant. The staff is always very friendly. We were also able to walk through the waterpark to see it. There are a lot of good slides and a lazy river. Have stayed overnight before and the rooms are very nice.

Was a rainy disgusting day so we went to the Kalahari for a walk and play. Their indoor amusement park is huge and seemed fairly priced. We enjoyed all of their African art and then played a round of mini gulf. We were also tempted by their indoor climbing walls, bowling alley, game room, race track, bars and billiards. Would have done more but time ran short for just and afternoon adventure.

The indoor theme park was okay. Would be great for children. The indoor water park was okay as well. Staff at the indoor water park was rude. They said things like, "out with you" to me and my boyfriend when we were on the water tubes and we didn't do anything wrong. It wasn't just one staff who said things like that to us. All the staff there look as if they hated their jobs which I kind of get since they do the same thing for who knows how long but they also don't have to take it out on the guest who go to the Kalahari to have a good time.
I also did not like carrying my ID around in the indoor water park. I was afraid to lose my ID but at the same time I wanted to go to the bars. Wish they could have 21+ waterproof wristbands or something instead of carrying IDs around

Nice place. Great prices in the winter and with indoor water park pass. They gave us a better room than we reserved without us asking for it probably because they had low occupancy. That was nice. We also purchased the "dry park" with riders and some games included. It made for a full two day's of fun.

very nice resort, but has a lot of closed slides meaning like tubes that are dark going down, good place if your into the closed dark tube like slides, but I'm into the open ones where you can actually see while going down. The room was very nice, it was my second time going, but looking for a resort to try with more open slides, this was about six months ago during Labor Day.

Just stopped in to check it out and wow, this place is big, you could spend a weekend just in this resort. If you stay here and want to see the rest of Wisconsin Dell's you might want to add a couple more days on to your trip.

What can I say about the Kalahari other than it's a nice day. Oh, I should say great Resort. The buffet is out of this world. The people at the resort are very helpful, very polite and courteous. The pool area it's always nice and the lifeguards are really nice people there having a wonderful time as usual this is her second year Kalahari. And I'll keep coming back can clear enough about it other than great people great food. All in all it's a wonderful place.

This place has everything. Water park, indoor carnival type rides. They have an upstairs above the game room that has pool tables, bowling, virtual golf and a huge bar. The place is massive it would probably take 10 minutes to walk from one side to the other. They have 4 or five restaurants inside the building. Brew Pub mash potatoes are killer. This is definitely a place to bring the whole family.

Brought my 11 and 7yo for Christmas. Our room was ready so they let us check in super early. Came on the Friday before Christmas, so it wasn t busy yet. We had an absolute blast! No lines for anything. We basically had the place to ourselves until the afternoon when everyone started showing up. The water park was fun. Loved the outdoor hot tub. The slides were fun. The game room was out of this world. So much to do! This place is perfect for kids. There s a coffee shop right here in the hotel, AND it was open until midnight! Be still my heart! Lol We kept going until midnight, so I made a coffee run at 1030p. Ordered room service. We all had cheeseburgers. The food was good. The art in the place is absolutely stunning! The room was nice and big with a fireplace and balcony. You must check this place out! We really enjoyed ourselves.

Would give the park 5 stars, but the front desk service, i wished i could give them no stars. The front desk service sucks. Called for assistance for jet tub and the guy gave instructions over the phone stating he can tell me better than doing it himself. His instructions did not work so I called for a tech to help me out. Called an hour later to cancel the tech because it was past and hour. Girl at front desk stated that it was first come first serve, and I get that but at 8pm at night? Then the tech shows 30 minutes later after I requested to cancel thier service. He was pleasent and nice though. IIfelt like front desk never paged or called he as requested the first time. The the let out sofa sets had not been changed at all, that took an hour for me to get a clean set to the room after me calling the housekeeping. Then some sticky stuff that felt let gum was on the sheets. The patio set was filthy, dishwasher was still on when we first came into the room. The front desk service was rude when we first arrived asked if we could pay another way, ignored twice after she got my credit card and I'd then asked me if I was paying with the same credit card or a different way. I mean hot mess the front desk is. I will be calling cooperate because I am leaving her before my time to. I can't stay beyond after this type of service.

Stayed 2 nights for a work conference. Room was clean, staff friendly. My only complaint was on the day I left. I took most of my things to the car and left a bag and curling iron in the room. When I went back to the room to get the rest of my things and checkout. My room door was propped open. This was before checkout time and before I actually checked out of the room. The cleaning person was about 5 doors down so anyone could have walked in and taken my stuff.

My room smelled like something between musty and cat urine. I went to the desk and they checked it while I was at dinner. The room still smelled bad when I returned. This was my first bad experience there out of several visits.

My one year old son loved it. It's a great place to go if you have kids. Especially little ones because they have their own area with all kinds of fun stuff to keep them busy. Plus the arcade was a blast for the kids. Quite expensive but it was a fun experience.

Great indoor water park; great slides, Jacuzzi, lazy lagoon and much more! The only bad things about the indoor water park is the service it is half bad; employees not even talking too you and just sitting around not even looking for people in the slides so you can go that is pretty much everthing bad.

Great Tom Foolerys indoor amusement park with great service and fun games with cool prizes!

Great hotel with clean rooms with a TV, microwave, fridge, safe and even a porch! Really recommended for people go to Wisconsin Dells!

The indoor water park was really cool with everything they had. Some things I haven t seen before too. The rooms are exactly what you expect them to be. Nice and clean. They could work on frequent towels at the water park sometimes you have to wait. The cell service does lack so be prepared to spend some quality time with your family. Other guests are also really friendly typically. Great restaurants nearby too.

My girlfriends and I took our children to the PA resort this past week. I loved the kiddie area although some of the features didn't work. All of the rides were great and the staff in the food, pool and front desk area was very friendly. The afternoon crew at the front door was not so welcoming but the morning front door crew was very hospitable. I didn't like how the parking was so far from the resort. They may need to add a drop off and pick up service. The showers in the dressing area of the pool were very impersonal as it is just one open space where you can see your neighbors lathering up in the nude. I didn't agree with this since I have young daughters and there were mothers washing their little boys. The lockers were also very expensive, $20 is a bit much. The drinks with the signature cup was $27 and $19 to refill. One more thing they shut down the restaurants early since the resort did not have a lot of guests. Uhhhh those that were there still needed to eat lol. Needless to say I enjoyed the African theme and the rooms are spacious. If they were to tweek a few things this place would be pretty nice.

The Kalahari is a great place to relax and have fun. It's very clean and I've never had a problem with the workers or service. Good on site restaurants to enjoy and not have to leave, as well.

We stayed at the Kalahari some years ago and it was ok. Our recent stay was much better. Staff was friendlier and facilities seemed better maintained then previous visit. Only complaint was that some staff really struggled with the English language ( obviously not their first language).

They put us in a room that was surrounded on both sides by construction to the adjacent rooms for our entire 3 night stay. We got woken up at 7:30am one morning to them banging away with hammers and I had to call the front desk to tell them to stop. Our 2 year old couldn't take a nap one afternoon it was so loud. I can't understand why they would put a family in a room they know will be sandwiched between renovations to the next door rooms. Really terrible experience when we're just trying to relax. I would like to hear from management about why they think this is acceptable.
