- I don't EVER do this normally; However, I'm pretty ticked about Wisconsin Dells currently! We didn't have a trip planned this year, but wanted to get the kids out and have some fun together in the water parks. With the weather upon us (AGAIN) in the next two days, and forced to be on the road in the middle of another Blizzard / icy conditions, I had called a manager to not just cancel our reservation, but inquire about them gaining a little MORE profit instead of NONE, and get us there a night earlier! Now, as someone that is business driven, why would you possibly think about loosing profit, & loosing a guest? Instead of "getting something" and having your guest arrive safe? I asked if we could get the rate that we currently are locked into, and was advised that it would be another $350.00+ just to toss our head on a pillow the night before the storm. The answer was NO! This to me is a HORRIBLE business practice! We are still going no matter what, but this practice I will stop at nothing less than to advertise the horrible guest services thus far!
