I would not recommend this law to buy a house at least, it might be good for other services but I bought a house and after 4 months of possession I got an email about still owing 450 dollars, and when I hired them they told me there was flat rates only no hidden fees, well not true either.

I shopped around for a lawyer and chose Kim, and I couldn't be happier with that choice. Not very impressed with the level of customer service here. At first I was willing to only go with this office based upon the number of positive reviews it had received. Tried getting in with touch with a lawyer to setup a consultation for a labor issue. Was referred to her line during regular business hours. The voicemail told me to send her an email and that she would get back to me as she could not return voicemail's. As this matter was of an urgent nature and almost a week had gone by with no response. I tried calling again to receive the same voicemail message during business hours again. This happened for a third time on a different day. At this point I decided to go with a different office. If you want to leave messages never to be answered and never talk to anybody besides the receptionist this is the place! Woe and behold another office called me back the same day. Not impressed with Kahane Law at all.

Garrett at Kahane Law returned my call the same day.He spent time with me on the phone discussing my problem and providing options. He has been supportive and very responsive. I could not ask for better service. I strongly recommend Kahane Law.

I had high hopes with Kahane Law, as I had seen so many wonderful reviews, great advertising, and extremely reasonable pricing for services. I retained a Lawyer to assist with probate on becoming an executor of a will. I began this process in the Fall of 2019 and had high hopes this would be a reasonable quick process to complete the application and file with the Courts, as I was originally assured. It has been nearly 4 months since I have heard any updates, after multiple emails un answered emails and meetings where there had been no updates after... As a single mother, this is extremely frustrating, stressful and causing a lot of anxiety. Bills are piling up on the Estate and I have had no real response on where this file is at. I cannot access information on the estate, as I am in limbo with this case... I would have though/hoped this could have been processed with the courts by now.

Started to inquire about a wrongful termination issue, was given to 1 lawyer was quoted $600 for review, after sending all required documents, was told her plate was too full and could not take this on, but she would send it back to another lawyer who then wanted $900 for the review, stupid me said ok. what i got was about 10 minutes of work. never actually answered my questions kept beating around the bush.. DO NOT fall for the Bait and Switch...

I recently got my home deal executed by them. The firm is good and emails were precise. I didn't like the support team. The receptionist is so rude. When I entered the office first time, instead of welcoming with smile. She didn't even look at me. I waited for 5 minutes and when I asked she rudely told me to be in one of the room. I thought it might be a bad day for her. Again, when I went to drop a draft there, she didn't even look at me for 5 minutes. Out of my frustration, when I told her that I am here to drop a draft, she got me a glance and continued to work. I thought I caught her in middle of her work so waited again for 5 minutes. After that I had to tell her that I am here for last 10 minutes and I just need to drop this envelop, she took it and again with the usual angry look. I feel it needs to be addressed.

Quick resolution at decent costs. I would recommend Ms Kim Nutz to employers seeking remedy at the lay off time, and more important when they sign the job offer! Very good service.

About Melisha Barber: I had a couple of self-incurred technical glitches with respect to paying my property taxes left over from buying and selling residences several months back. I was pretty embarrassed about the mistakes as they were emphasized in the reports they gave back to me. If I were in her shoes I would have found myself and the repeated errors to be a headache, but she was totally understanding. Melisha not only eased my embarrassment by telling me that this sort of thing happens often, but was unbelievably prompt in acting on it (same hour, never mind day), and assuring me what actions she is taking, what has been done, and how it will be resolved. Great customer service is rare these days, so I thought I'd just give a shout out to her.

We just bought our first home and couldn t have been happier with the ease that Kahane Law offered. From start to end we were looked after. All of our questions were answered efficiently and the whole process a breeze. We can t wait to use their services the next time around.

I utilized the services of Kim Nutz in my employment case. I found her to be very knowledgeable and attentive. She was very timely, effective in her communication and took the time to answer any questions that I had. I really appreciated everything that she did for me and would recommend her to anyone seeking legal advise.

I've been working with this firm for several months. Every call I make goes to VM and both the lawyer and her assistant take days to respond, if they choose to at all. Information is mailed out to the wrong address; information is mailed out to the wrong person. There is extremely poor communication from both the lawyer and her assistant on next steps in what is a complex process, which has caused needless delays, and which have, in-turn, caused further complications. Unprofessional, unresponsive, absolutely do not use them.

Came here for a few reasons. My husband and I got our Wills done with Shannon Galon and she was amazing. She was so patient with us even though our phones wouldn't stop ringing constantly as we own our own business. We then came in and met with Kate Andrews. Our daycare unfortunately was sick that day so we had to bring in our 1 and 3 year daughters to a very difficult meeting. Kate was very understanding, and having kids herself she understood our frustration and was very welcoming to us. Both made us feel great, felt like our money was well spent and got great advice and service. Highly recommend this law firm.

I tried to make sure everything was in order a week before closing the deal on the purchase of a new house. Kahane law office would not give us the time of day untill two days before closing, where i had to take time off of work to get the proper documents, which could have been easily avoided. We did not feel valued as a client nor was this law firm willing to help solve issues. DO NOT USE

A horrible experience! Missed deadlines, failed to provide updates....constantly had to follow up and chase for updates. Never felt like they had my best interest at heart...felt more like a burden! Brought up my concerns to owner...no change. In the end decided to get different representation.

We used Kahane to complete our purchase of a condo. Overall the business seemed competent but the problem we had was that we never saw a lawyer. Even when we went in to sign everything, it was a student who met with us. He was totally capable of going over everything with us but when you are paying a thousand dollars for their services and one of their lawyers can't take 15 minutes to meet with you at the end...That just doesn't seem like a good way to run things. The service we received was still fine but they said that a lawyer would be meeting us and that seems to be what you pay for. Perhaps there were special circumstances but no one said that.

Kim displayed an excellent knowledge of employment law and how it relates to everyday life. She provided excellent advice and assisted me in my negotiations with my previous employer.

I have planned to write this review for a long time. I feel my fiance(Emily) and I were wronged in our dealings with this law office. All dates are approximations to shorten this review. I do have exact dates via our documents and emails. I will not be releasing any personal information except our names. To Kahane's defence we were given a full refund twice however the damages done can not be given back. Professionals are hired for a reason. Mistakes were made and no formal apology was given and that is why I am back writing this review. I am not here to lie and will only give opinions and facts i have proof of. I am here to tell my story and hopefully receive a formal apology.

My fiance is American and we wanted her to immigrate to Canada to share our life here. We had no idea what we were doing so we went to google and found one of the top rated law offices for immigration. Kahane Law Office was that office. It was March 2015. We contacted them and spoke to an individual named "G" and later also worked with a lady named "M". We worked closely with these individuals. I am not the easiest to work with and can be annoying when worried or unsure. We requested a PR via spousal sponsorship. We paid the quoted amount in full and signed all paper work.

This is important: We answered all questions on a "extensive questionnaire". Including a question asking where Emily's father was born. Which after a few phone calls we found out it was Canada.

After working with Kahane Law Office till May. 2015. I was found not eligible to sponsor Emily till July. 2016. I was given a full refund and was told they would be happy to work with me again when I was eligible to sponsor Emily.

I came into contact with Kahane Law once again in July. 2016. Paid in full and continued the journey once again with a new person named "L" who had replaced "M".

Upon further review of the questionnaire from May. 2015 it was found that Emily was able to just become a citizen automatically. Great news. We were happy but also greatly saddened by by having to wait until August 2016. 1.5 years after our contact with Kahane Law. No work, no school just on a tourist visa.

After trying to get a hold of "G" and wasn't able too. I sent a complaint email to Mr. Kahane. Explaining what had happened and my concerns. I explained calmly and professionally my feelings about what had happened. Soon after I received a call from "G" terminating there services with us with a full refund and a brief explanation on how to do a Proof of Citizenship application. After I gave them a second chance to help me with Emily's Proof of citizenship application.

We told them originally through the questionnaire that Emily had a Canadian born father. I feel they didn't look over the documents that they had asked for and what we paid them for. Then when brought up to the owner of a business we were thrown out because a client was upset, not belligerent or rude but just upset. I feel they didn't care and I was just another waste of time.

I truly thought about giving a 2 star rating because of the refund but thinking from a business stand point. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had.
