I had a fantastic birthing experience at Mountain Vista Medical Center. Even though I had to be induced, the entire team made sure the whole process went well. I had heard scary story about induced labor but mine was really seamless. Dr. Purohit and the amazing team of nurses - Heidi, Josie, Michelle, Raluca, Amber, Christiana, Shannon, Becky and all the other nurses in the maternity center made it a stress free experience. They genuinely cared for me and my baby and it was just truly wonderful. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for a smooth birthing experience.

I had a great experience here. I drove myself to the ER due to a very rapid heartbeat, chest pains and a little numbness in my hand. I was taken back immediately and given an EKG within minutes. Shortly after I was in my own room, where they took my blood and ran a few tests to see what was going on. In the mean time I was given some sedatives to calm my heart down, which helped dramatically. The doctor I had (Michael Prescott I believe) was super nice and took the time to ask me a lot of questions to try and help pinpoint what the problem might be. He was very helpful and I am definitely pleased with the service I received. Overall it was a great experience, which is saying a lot considering how I felt going in. If the need arises, I recommend this hospital.

I visited the hospital on 7/30/14 for a fairly standard visit. I gave the gentleman upfront my insurance information and went for the visit. I received a bill in September for the use of the facility and no insurance information had been taken down. I had to call and submit the insurance information again and then wait for them to get back to me with the billing information. I just received a bill on behalf of the Physician Service from the visit and again there was no insurance information. If I wanted the 25% discount I had to pay the bill over the phone or if I wanted to use insurance I'd have to wait and that discount would not apply. I opted to pay the bill because I didn't want to have to wait and deal with the wait again. I am extremely displeased with this hospital and would recommend driving to a different hospital in the event you need anything.

Just wanted to write a quick note of thanks to Mountain Vista for a great delivery. I was uncertain about inducing at 39 weeks, but I'm sure glad I did. Marchand and all the nurses were terrific. Everything went perfectly and I can't even imagine life without this handsome baby boy in my life!

My name is LaShawna I had surgery today. WOW all the staff were amazing and friendly. Michael and Andrew. They were my anesthesiologist. Amazing guys.. I can't remember everyone's name but I would like to thank everyone again from the time I registered until I left everyone was amazing. Also shot out to my Doctor Gregory Marchand he is truly an amazing person. One con but I am still giving 5 stars. When I woke up there was a doctor in the hall cursing at his computer very loud other then that great experience.

I was in the er room for over 3 hours waiting to be seen and then I get a room for 20 mints the next 7 hours I was in a patient eating room with 4 other sick people and they put a iv in me and gave me morphone in the waiting room and told me not to get up for a while with 4 other people and they discussed people medical information in front of everyone in this waiting room no curtain for privacy nothing. Then tell me I have one thing then I find out today from my doctor they diagnosed me with something completely different. They really messed up big time!!

Wow, I have surgery scheduled for tomorrow and Mountain Vista Med. Center called to "Pre-Register" me. It was more of a shake down. Not only did they want my full estimated amount up front, but because I don't want them to reach into my checking account, monthly and help themselves to my hard earned money, I now have to pay an extra 25%. I explained that I would like to use my Flexible Medical Savings Account from work and that I would need to be billed, at which point I will pay the entire amount. That isn't good enough. I must bring a check for $100 up front as a down payment. This is what is wrong with For Profit Hospitals. Where is the compassion.
I would like to thank Mr. Fwanee Lane for calling me and correcting the above mentioned problem.

I completely understand the 1 star ratings. I was there 5 years ago after a fall and split my chin open and received stiches. Now 5 years later I'm still dealing with their incompetent billing department even after several conference calls between them and my insurance company in which we all agreed I didn't owe the bill their staff just never applied the payment from the insurance company. This was 6 months ago and today I get a collections notice. 5 years and they still can't get it straight I guess I'll spend another hour of my life in the phone with them!!!

I had outpatient surgery at MVMC for a painful urinary condition this week and it went very well.
While I can't really say "I loved it" (who likes or loves to have surgery?), I would rate the facilities and personnel that I dealt with as "excellent" and they deserve the 5 star review. From the person who pre-registered me the day before the surgery, I believe his name is Cheston, to the recovery room nurse who wheeled me out (I wish I could remember her name but I was probably still a bit out of it from the general anesthesia), everyone was courteous, efficient, professional, and respectful.
Because I had been concerned and worried prior to my surgery and after reading all the negative reviews, I wanted to post this review because my experience was quite positive.
This may not be the correct forum but I'd also like to thank all the folks at MVMC (doctors, medical techs, nurses, office people, and volunteers) who took care of me. Thank you.

The outpatient hysterectomy program at Mountain Vista is really exceptional! Anesthesia was terrific, and Marchand explained everything every step of the way. If you need a hysterectomy but you're afraid to stay overnight in the hospital I highly recommend this program!

I had never been to this hospital before in my life and the one time just recently to delivery my little one has been the best experience in any hospital setting I have had! It was like a vacation before having my baby then being catered to with amazing staff made the entire experience fantastic for me!

Marchand and Blumrick did a great job taking care of me during my pregnancy and delivery. My cervix kept trying to open up but they stitched it tight and got me to a full nine months. I have a beautiful new baby and could not be happier.

This review is long overdue but I just want to share what a great experience I've had in this hospital particularly with the Labor and Delivery ward. I've had a rough time with my delivery and I must say that the nurses there gave the optimum health care experience. The nurses surely know what they're doing and gave the best care for me and my baby. Everyone on the Maternity and NICU ward with special mention to Meredith, Sandy, Judy, Hannah, Laura, Jo and Lyn were just AWESOME including Dulce who maintains pristine rooms. Also to my OBGYN, Dr. Stephine Kramer and her team were just the best. I do hope the management would recognize their efforts in delivering the best care for their patients because they surely deserve it. Keep it up and I surely appreciate every help you have given us.

My mother was admitted to this hospital last night and I can honestly say out of the two of us we have never had a worse experience. We waited for 12 hours for a bed, never had a single question answered or even received an explanation for the diagnosis. The employees are clearly overworked and there is no communication happening between any of the departments. I would really love to see such a beautiful facility take the complaints of its patients seriously and make the appropriate changes.

My experience and MOUNTAIN VISTA was no less than great I have been hospitalized there several times in the past two years and have not been treated better the nurses and the doctors in the hospital are amazing the only issue I have is with the ER and the way the doctors and nurses act as I do need some sort of a new charge person and they got this really creepy doctor in there that thinks he has to look at everybody naked when you're coming for abdominal issues I've never ever had that happen to me in a ER before

I came in severely dehydrated. The ER was a 10, the ICU was a 10, telemetry was a 10. Med surge was a 1.you couldn't get them to come timely. They obviously don't work as a team as alarms go off and are not answered unless you call yourself (trial of 30 minutes and she argued with me about time).nurse was cold, perfunctory in and out I called for charge nurse and nurse came in and made excuses . My husband had had better treatment This nurse was abysmal

Don t come here unless you want no medical attention at all. These people will constantly stand around & not do their jobs. My father pressed the help button & My sister had to physically go find a nurse in order for them to come but when she finally found them they were all standing around talking then turned his light off stating that we must have forgot to turn it off no you did not. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL hospital. The most uneducated, rude, lazy staff I ve ever seen.

I have had multiple surgery s throughout my life , this is the worst experience I ve ever had. I went in for a partial knee replacement, no big deal. After partially coming out of anesthesia I was told that the spinal tap I was given would wear out in 4 hours. Since not having water all morning and night I asked for some. She gave me two bottles of water knowing that I wouldn t have control of my bowels because of the spinal tap. 1 hour later the occupational therapist came in to check rom on my knee. When I stood up and I pee d on myself (no lower extremity control) 3 times. I was humiliated. They had me scheduled for an overnight stay, but I left the hospital ASAP. My IV bag was empty for over an hour with no nurses checking up. If you go elsewhere, then you should. I heard the staff arguing and snickering at each other, very in professional. Lacks compassion for the patient. I absolutely advocate against this place.

I was in this hospital and received great care by a nurse name Sandi Mykland ext 1272 on the 3rd floor cardiac unit. She was so nice and professional. She was always in a great mood and very helpful to me & my wife. She gave my wife soda & a sandwich when she was hungry. She was by far the best nurse I have ever had. She deserves a raise and should be recognized for her hard work and dedication to her patients. I was in Banner Baywood a few weeks before this visit & they could not figure out what was wrong with me. Thanks to Dr Kumar who admitted me to this hospital until they found out what was wrong with me.

On September 16, 2020, Dr. Brian McWhorter repaired my right knee in a 3.5 hour surgery at Mountain Vista Medical Center. Before, during, and after the surgery, I received excellent care and service from Dr. McWhorter's practice, Steward Orthopedic & Sports Medicine, and from all departments of Mountain Vista Medical Center, starting with Pam at PAT, to Pre-Op, to Anesthesia, to PACU, to the ward nurses. This was my fourth major knee surgery. Mountain Vista Medical Center and the surgery team made the experience a very positive one. I would recommend Mountain Vista Medical Center and Dr. McWhorter without hesitation.

Thank you from the bottom of my Dad's (newly repaired) heart!!
From the moment we arrived (I had scheduled an ER visit online and was given the time to be there) the staff was kind, courteous and sensitive to our family's needs. The facility was clean and quiet and we had the best possible hospital experience.
From the ER nurse to all the cardiac floor staff, everyone we had the opportunity to speak with was a consummate professional in their field, personable and "on their game." I would compare our experience here to what we had at the Mayo Clinic. Very top notch, caring personnel and a clean, quiet environment. The fact they are 5 minutes from my front door ensures I will be going here again with any future hospitalization needs for my family.

Just delivered my son here in October 7th and they where amazing. The dr was able to unwrap my sons umbilical cord from his neck leaving him unharmed. The nurses, all of them, where absolutely amazing. Every staff member I came into contact with was friendly and seemed to really care about how I was.

First experience with a family member in this hospital. No one should have to show the RN a infiltrated IV, that's swollen to the size of a softball. RNs shouldn't leave a patient who has stage 4 brain cancer, who just had partial hip replacement, alone on the toilet. Should a family member have to ask the RN to give a patient a bath?? No. They take a covid-19 test as soon as admitted, yet never tell the family or patient the results and now has to have another one....ample time to have gotten a result.
I will make sure everyone in my family is aware to never take their family or friends here. The lack of compassion and care is disgusting. Thankful my family member is being removed from this joke of a hospital.
Never experienced anything like this in my life. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves.
My boyfriend is the patient and based off of his p...
My boyfriend is the patient and based off of his progress and what he has said and what I've seen, it all depends on the nurses. The ED was amazing, caring for him and making him as comfortable as possible. The first day he was in the ICU, he seemed to be making progress. The nurse read his notes from the ED, was interacting with him, caring for him and for me, knowing I was a worried and emotional wreck. One of the respiratory therapists even came in just to check on him, and show he was cared about, since he saw how bad he was in the ED. The next day he got worse, the following day no improvement whatsoever. Both days of getting worse/no improvement, he had the same not so caring ICU nurse. She didn't really read over his chart, and I know this because I mentioned something that was in his chart and she looked at me like I was stupid. He has something in his mouth, he described it as hard and plastic feeling, she laughed and kept eating her salad. She said "maybe its thrush, I'll get something later and look at it." He told her the IV was hurting really bad so she put the fluids going into the IV on his other arm but did not do anything to make it stop hurting. She didn't seem to have enough time for him, but he was in the ICU so he would get the close attention. Finally the night nurse took it out and he said it was instantly better. If it weren't for the night nurse, he would still be in ICU. They worked with him and got him to be cleared to get out of ICU and to a regular room. The nurses on the regular floor are so much more caring than the ICU nurse that he had for 2 days and they have 12-13 patients vs 2 in ICU.
Every day they have "quiet time" through out the entire hospital from 2pm to 4pm. Which would be wonderful if the nurses and staff actually participated in it like the announcement states. They were quiet for about 20 minutes of those 2 hours.
He kept saying he wished he could get sleep, but they were so loud he couldn't rest at all. Just talking about nonsense, what they were going to get their kids or family for Christmas or anything he, nor I, wanted to hear about. All the machines and beeping and checking his vitals, he can sleep through that. But the talking loudly and constantly, he couldn't at all.

Worst experience of any of my 5 child births. I begged my wife not to use this hospital but she chose and what a nightmare. From wrong information on regristration to wrong information on my child's birth certificate that tjey still haevnt called us back for. There were so many problems all throughout the time there that i dont have enough space to explain. I even asked for more ice for my wife at the nurses station and they told me where i could go get it. They didnt give her pain meds for a few hours and when i went out to ask they told me the pharmacy ran out and tjey havent heard back from them. Worst experience and still on going. Do yourself a huge favor and have ur baby anywjere else but here. They dont care about giving good care or even average care. This was not my first horrible experience with one of my children and my wife is living with the "I told u so". Don't live with that yourself

I went to the hospital few days before my surgery for a pre op exam and was told by the girl at the register that the hospital is not contracted with my insurance and I need to pay cash upfront for the surgery and she handed me a cash rate sheet(her name was Ashley) . Also, she charged me $100 as self pay for the pre op xray. I ended up canceling my surgery because I could not come up with the money for two days. I called later and spoke with the billing dept and was told a claim will be sent to my insurance ( I even have out of network benefits)for the surgery and one was sent even for the pre op exam. So now I am waiting in pain for another day to have my surgery done because of that incompetent and unprofessional girl. I am so disappointed and was under so much stress how I am going to find the money to pay upfront or look for another surgeon and hospital . Maybe the hospital needs to train the staff more so they can be helpful to the patients.

Nurses, staff, doctors all of them are idiots. Their excuse is they couldn't find the antibiotics for a patient who had a BLOOD INFECTION! And was just left there for 2 1/2 hours with no iv for antibiotics. Also went into a room that was "just cleaned" and even saw the cleaning staff person leave the room and as soon as I walk in. I see blood on the covers of the hospital bed. Seriously. Called a nurse to get me a new blanket and it took an HOUR... good job morons. Be on the look out for a call from an attorney very soon. also nurse names patty. Needs to be fired. Doesn't do her job and just yells at patients.

I went to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain. It was a 9 out of 10. There was no one in the waiting room. My husband helped fill out the paper work and I waited there for 20 minutes for intake. Then they took me to another waiting room with only 2 other people. They said they couldn't do anything for the pain until they got me a bed. After an hour and a half all they had done was make me walk back and forth to talk to the PA. It was bullshit. I finally left and went to a different hospital. Terrible care. Doctors were nowhere to be seen. Don't go here if you can help it.

This hospital emergency care is a joke! I took my husband there at 4pm yesterday in so much pain in his feet that he rated his pain at a 10. There was one patient ahead of us when we got there! At 6pm they still had done nothing to help my husband who was crying in pain! I went up and down the hall way to find many employees on there phones and several grouped together talking and laughing not working! I finally just took him home, they were even rude that we were leaving, not concerned that we hadn't even been helped! If you are in pain do not go to this hospital ER, they don't care!

Would never go back. Tried to get discharged - they told me if we left that insurance would not cover the two days we had already been in there - which we never received any medical help whatsoever.
Staff had no idea what was going on - ever. There was no management, no leadership, no direction. It is unbelievable to me that a "hospital" could run/function like this. I would NEVER go back there. I would NEVER recommend anyone go there. In fact, I would recommend that people go any where BUT there!!! DO NOT GO to Mountain Vista Medical Center. If you do, you are literally putting your life in the hands of people who don't know what they are doing and they also don't care at all. '
If I hadn't been in an emergency situation I would have looked for customer reviews before we ever went there. Now that we have been in here for 2 days - with no medical treatment - I have had time to google reviews of this place. Horrible reviews. Had I known this, I would never have come here. Now that I know, I will never come here again, and I will make sure everyone I know doesn't ever come here either.

Was very disappointed!!! When I arrived to the ER I was the only one there then a few minutes later 3 be people's showed up and all 3 were seen before me I'm a type 2 diabetic and had had excruciating pain in my left leg from Miami to my pelvis in my thigh was three times as big as my right side is swollen but yet they tell me people get called back according to how severe their claim is when you got there granted I was afraid I had a blood clot and I let the nurse know that I was a diabetic and I didn't pull or strain or fall down or anything like that for my leg to be as swollen and could barely walk and I sat there an extra 30 minutes to an hour longer than I should have

A total of 6 hours spent here yesterday. One rude nurse after another. We sat in our rom for four hours waiting for a CT scan for my daughter after a nurse said they should be there shortly. Maybe if the nurses had been doing something other than standing outside our room discussing what clothes they had worn to work we would have been seen faster. First and last experience at this hospital.

When Marchand called Mountain Vista the best kept secret in Arizona I didn't know what he meant, but I sure do now. Labor and Delivery is amazing and the care is on another level. My delivery was more than special, it's memories I will always cherish. I can't thank the nursing staff there enough....Labor and Delivery at Mountain Vista is truly something special!

Unexpectedly had my son this week at Mountain Vista. Every. Single. Person. During delivery was on top of their game, very responsive and communicative during the process, explaining everything that was going to happen and executed with a high level of care. Dr. Kramer and her entire team that night were above and beyond in service and care. The after care nurses were also pretty awesome as they helped me and my mom with the kiddo no matter what. I would highly recommend the hospital and the team to anyone, they were really great and I am so appreciative of their efforts. They made delivery seamless and I had no issues. Thanks all!

I came here twice for the same problem...first visit wasnt as bad as the second...the did the usual blood work and stuff but didnt fin anything the first time..The second time they did a ercp found 2 stones in me got them out i was in the hospital for a whole week until driday night out of no where Dr. SAVAGE a doc who clearly explained to me on my first visit that anyone who does herione or morphine for recreational use deserve all the withdrawal symptoms and he could not wait until the U.S. ban morphine and dilated forever......so back to my point After 1 whole week of not seeing dr. Savage my entire 2nd stay which the new dr.v found the stones dr. Savage didn't came in my room very rude and sai oh ur back i said yes this time my doc found were my pain was coming from this time...He demands i get taken off of all iv pain meds because he dnt believe i need it and decides i will swallow pain pills after i had an endoscopy. ..remember this is the first time i seen him since i came in monday and its friday...This Doctor was not there for me threw my surgery but all of a sudden qants to start making recovery decision for me out of no where....so i called the cn and they said they r running a ekg if that comes back clear you are going home...then what was the point of me stay in the hospital for 3 more days if u r going to kick me out tonight because i dont want a doctor to be my doctor???

Beware of this place. It was the closest place to my house so this is where we went, but I will be going somewhere else from now on. I was told that my visit was handled by my insurance but now months later I'm being contacted by billers saying I owe money because the doctor didn't accept my insurance, something that would have been nice to know at the er. They knew which insurance I had so a heads up would have been nice. Then they sent my bills from the hospital to the wrong address. So I could have taken care of this sooner, but the information I gave them is not what they used. This is not the first time ive had these issues with this place, but I've learned my lesson and will definitely be advising against this place.

This place was horrible. I went in for surgery and during my stay I had 2 episodes of spasms so intense that I could not breathe. I had pushed the call button 3 times bit could not talk but only groan in pain for 45 min I tried to get someone to help me but my nurse was busy. Luckily I had my phone and texted my friend to come help me. The second time my daughter mother and grandma were visiting. My mom in her car and grandmother and daughter in my room when the attack started again I pushed the button repeatedly my grandmother ran to the hallway to get help and my daughter screaming and crying no one came. my grandmother called my mom trying to tell her what was happening and she wasn't able to tell her anything but get up here fast Jessica needs help. My mom made it across the parkinglot to my room on the 3rd floor to check on me and still had to go get a damn nurse. The staff should be competent enough to make sure everyone is OK. They need to be closed down practically a mortuary.
I take the last comment back mortuaries treat people better.

I really have a pathological fear of needles, and this hospital catered to me in every way possible. I went to the ER 9/6/2020. I am 76. Had high blood pressure, sweating, heart palpation. Was seen right away it was 9:00 am the triage nurse took my vital was coughing like crazy took my temp with an old fashion mouth thermometer. Was taken back to the ER Nurse was JR who was great the doctor came in Dr Walker was super I was having spasm in the middle of my chest. They ran all the test which was great. Went in to get my MRI was laying there looked up and seen about 2 inches of dust on the machines arm. Got all the test run. Dr Walker came in said everything looked good have a couple of things I need to watch but other than that everything was good. Did some more blood work all of a sudden the blood work came back with a problem with my heart. I had one Dr come in don't remember his name told me I should stay the night just to be safe. The Cardiologist came in No Name drinking a Mt Dew had his mask half off told me everything looked good want me to stay the night to. Told me I had acid re flux.Waited to get a room only to find out there are no rooms available my back was killing me from laying in that bed for 8 hours its as hard as the ground. I found that out and signed myself out. All this time no water, was hungry. I loved this hospital always went here but it has gone down the tubes. All the Nurses I had and Dr Walker were great. but will not go back.

Marchand Institute and Mountain Vista really have a great program for women's care and pelvic pain. I wasn't sure it was a great idea because the Banner doctors had operated on me and not been able to fix my pain, but this Steward outfit got to the root of the problem and fixed it!

I went from the Marchand Institute over to surgery directly after an ultrasound showed an emergency ovarian torsion. For an emergency, the whole process was pretty smooth, with the Institute staff getting me to the OR quickly and answering all my questions. Anesthesia was terrific and they were able to save my ovary and do the surgery through tiny incisions. I recovered right away and really have no complaints. My insurance covered everything with no problem, and I wasn't even asked for copay. Everyone was very professional and very friendly. I think the people who work at Mountain Vista must really like their jobs.

About 2 years ago I had problems breathing and went to Banner Gateway. I was told it was a virus and to go home and deal with it . After enduring 2 more days of not being able to breathe I went to Mountain Vista , by this point I was coughing up blood , they saved my life ! I spent 3 days in ICU on a ventilator. They have also treated me for my seizures, they were warm, caring attentive and professional. I had one Dr. That was inappropriate, who spoke cruelly to me , the nurse noticed this and reported him! He was let go from his duties at the hospital. This hospital has always been very kind and professional, I wish we had more like it! Thankyou to all the hard working Dr.'s . Nurses and staff that tirelessly treat us!

I have had to deal with the people at the VA, and they are not nearly as friendly, helpful, carrying, and on top of that they don't keep the place nearly as clean as Mountain vista medical center does. If you ever have someone you care about meeting until health care don't as its hate to bring them into this place you can feel comfortable knowing that they will be taken care of and in good hands, as well as in a good environment where they can get better.

My repeat cesarean at Mountain Vista was the easiest surgery I've ever recovered from, and that includes having my wisdom teeth out! Thank You to Mountain Vista, all the nurses and Marchand!

My father just spent 6 days at Mountain Vista ICU following surgery. The nurses deserve 5 stars, esp Michelle, Jolene, Lea & Francis. You guys rock! Dietary messed up a couple times on his meals & seemed to deliver late, but the food was great. A wide variety to choose from. The hospital was clean & had no unpleasant odors. Very pleased we chose this hospital. Thank you for taking care of dad!

I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. The staff doesn t seem to know what s going on and does not communicate clearly and professionally when it s time to get discharged. My father was told he was going to get discharged, only to find out three hours afterwards that the doctor had not signed off on it.

We did not have a good experience here, this was in September. Thought he had a TIA turns out it was a medication reaction then they gave him the same meds the following night. He wound up confused, over sedated and transferred to ICU because he wasn't breathing well and no one called to let me know what happened. He was discharged from ICU at 11 am the following morning. They did all testing in timely manner medication took forever to get. Absolutely no communication with the nurses and they didn't seem to know what there doctors had already told us. Very frustrating. The next time he had to go in I made the ambulance take him to Banner even if this was closer by a few miles.

Thank you to all the Labor and Delivery nurses who made my delivery so special. I was skeptical about inducing at 39 weeks at first but Marchand went over all the data with me and I knew it was the right choice. Lee gave a great epidural so I was comfortable and actually able to enjoy delivering for once.

I'm not sure which experience was worse. It unfortunate that this facility which is walking distance from my home has such deplorable services. I'd advise anyone from going there. We have experienced multiple issues with this facility. They tried giving my wife the incorrect medication during one visit, which after a hundred questions realized their error. Another visit resulted in mixing up her chart with another individual and almost had her stay overnight. The latest involved my baby daughter who was crying uncontrollable for an hour. Due to the closeness of this facility we thought it would be better for her instead of running down to Cardon's. After no one so much looked at us for 20 minutes in an empty waiting room we were taken back to be seen. The nurse and doctors looked her over and stood around perplexed not sure why she was crying. The tried to get equipment to look at her eye to see if it was scratched but they didn't have anything for a baby available. We asked if we would be better off at a children's hospital and they said if that's what we wanted to do. After standing around with a baby that was screaming the entire time we decided that Mountain Vista once again could not provide any useful service. We took her to Banner Cardon's where we were seen promptly and our daughter's condition was quickly determined with x-rays. If you are in the East Valley and you have children you are better off driving or calling an ambulance to receive care anywhere except Mountain Vista.

Never again coming to this hospital.... I had chest tightness, heart palpitations, and full blown migraine headache. I was very pale and I was sweating. I sat and waited for 30 minutes before a EKG was done. I am not there for games or making anything up..... What do I mean yes I am young 31 yrs. old but that doesn't mean because I am young that I am lying. I had major open heart surgery at the age of 25 yrs. old. I still have heart problems til this day. Thank you for not helping me and getting me the right treatments. The best thing I did was to walk out of this place and went to Banner Desert Heart hospital. Even after the EKG was performed I waited another 3 hours. My husband is the one who saved me because I was able to get the right treatments. I don't usually complain a lot but after reading the reviews from this hospital and realizing love ones didn't get the best treatment and they passed away or suffer like I did. BEWARE BEWARE RUN RUN as fast as you can.

I've had fulguration of endometriosis several times at different hospitals so I know what to expect, but Marchand's surgery was very easy to recover from and the staff at MVMC was really nice to me. That really made a big difference to me!

During my stay at Mountain Vista medical center I received the most, awesome care from the Doctor, Nurses, CNA's and Occupational Therapist. Then I received food! OMGosh, these meals are amazing, just like at a fine restaurant. There are culinary chef's here creating outstanding, extensive meal choices all day long! The service here in EVERY department, admitting, pre-op, surgery, room care, food, rehab, and all else is absolutely superior! Thank God I'm here!

I went in to the ER with terrible pain in my stomach a constance pain and three hours later had to walk out because all they did was to take my vitials and send me back to the waiting room, and within 20 mins later I was in Bay Banner in surgery having my gall
bladder removed. It exploded. Im still alive no thanks to Mt Vista Medical Center. Mt Vista better not charge my insurance that would be fraud. Also they told the person with me that we could not leave and get me some help from another hospital. What kind of mutants work at Mt Vista? Mt Vista Med
Center in Mesa Az. is the worst hospital in America. Thanks to Banner Baywood Hospital and their excellent staff of ER and Doctor personal I will be celebrating my 60th Birthday Nov 2020. If I didnt leave when we did I would be a box of ashes and died at 59 years old. I dont think Mt Vistas staff really knowns the true meaning to life and /or how precious life is to other people .

Romantic intimacy had always been painful for me, and I never knew why. I just assumed I was different and that's the way it had to be. I had one quick consult with the Marchand Institute and they showed me what the problem I was born with was and why it was easy to fix. I had surgery at Mountain Vista and now I'm completely cured. I now have a whole new aspect of life that I was previously denied. All I can say is thank you!!!

I have the funniest pictures of my belly before and after the surgeons at the Marchand Institute removed a huge benign ovarian tumor from me at Mountain Vista Medical Center!! I was shocked at how quickly I recovered and was able to get back to my normal life.

I didn't think I could go to a World Class Institute for my surgery because I only have medicaid, but my pelvic pain was severe. A friend told me about the Marchand Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery at Mountain Vista Medical Center, and I couldn't believe they took my insurance!!! Nursing and anesthesia staff at Mountain Vista were friendly and nice to me, and I can honestly say I've never had this kind of VIP treatment in my life. The surgery was very successful and I just can't thank your hospital enough for taking care of me!

Go to this emergency room if you want to be chastised for coming in and suspected as a drug seeker. My pain was real and I came looking for answers and got none. My wife and I pointed out that I was diabetic but they did not even check my sugar levels and once it was determined that I was not having a heart attack, it was out to the waiting room went for a 2 hour wait. By that time my pain had finally dissipated. Should have never of came here. My wife had issues with them 5 years ago when she was having a heart problem...left and went to another hospital on the 60 and the doctor there found the problem in short order. Two operations later and she was good to go.

Horrible nursing staff. Took way more time than it should. I asked nicely how much longer because my daughter was uncomfortable and the nurse was very rude and even rolled her eyes. Doctor was great but other than that, horrible experience. The doctor even informed me that they aren't busy and to "bug" the nurses to hurry up. I'll stick with going to Banner hospitals only.

Stay AWAY! Don't go here!! I've worked in the medical field and most of our patents were old so sometimes we had to direct admit our patients to the hospital. Every time the patent would hear this news they will ask to NOT be admitted to Mountain Vista. This place is terrible! No compassion for anyone! It is as if they hate life and everything. They will make you wait for hours and hours then when they do call you in they still make you wait for several more hours in the room. I once had a patient that begged in tears not to be admitted to this place. Everyone is better off driving a few blocks further to Banner. If your insurance allows it, then it is way better. Just remember to stay away from Mountain Vista!!

The Nursing unit sucks Really bad bedside manner i constantly had to ask for my medication and was always told someone would come in and give it to me and no one ever came back. Almost anything I ask for water and extra pillow it took at least two hours to get to me. The Nurses made me sift my own urine And anytime I ask for anything it seem like it was a hassle for them. Was NOT Impressed!

Dont bother wasting your time working here! They treat you like sh**. work you into the ground without as much as a thank you and they are so tight they send you home every chance they get! I worked there 3 years and never once did I get a raise. As soon as the mention of a raise came about they called me on the phone and said I no longer work there and that I Quit! (hmmm they are speaking for me now!) so they wouldnt have to pay unemployment. This was the biggest waste of my time. Iasis WILL screw you over look elsewhere to work!!!!!

Everything was ok. It is expected to be actually pretty good, but the nurse who woke me from the anesthesia wasn t nice, I wasn t feeling good and she was determined to kick me out of there not matter what. The worst possible experience, she was a nightmare.

I wasn't expecting a big ovarian cyst to take me to the E.R. last week, but I also wasn't expecting the great care I got from Dr. Marchand and all the staff at Mountain Vista Medical Center! You made something horrible not quite so bad!!

I have to give this place 5+ stars. I went in with severe abdominal pain and feeling like crud overall. They did every test possible on me. They were kind and very attentive. When I initially got to the hospital I was uninsured but before I left I had insurance even though I do not qualify for ahcccs! That was also thanks to the hospital staff. I've never had such helpful quality care from anywhere before. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and other staff who so graciously helped me.

Promise you the world delivered nothing. Nobody seems to know what there doing. Request to speak with the Dr about my mother's care and medication and not once did they call me back. Patronizing Rn Joan . They put her on heprin and she's not a heart patient and no reason to put her on that medicine. I was told to tell Mom she's going to another facility after she left mountain Vista, only for the nurse to tell her she's going home. Consider another place before coming here, I was in the medical field for 25 years,. I can tell you that they are not equipped to care for generation patients and do not know what they are doing, and have no skill's to deal with your loved one. Lisa F.

If you go to the emergency room with health insurance that they supposedly are in the network with, they still insist on taking $375.00 straight out of your pocket. They claim that once your insurance pays them they'll refund the $375.00. The physician billing is separate so that is billed to your insurance separately. Mountain Vista never billed my insurance and just kept my $375.00. I called their billing department and they told me there wasn't a manager to talk to at the time and they would call me back. I told the person I was talking (Robin) to that concerned me. She assured me I would get a call back as soon as a manager was available. That was on 1/23/20. It is now 1/28/20 and of course no call back. I had issues with the old Flornce hospital and now I find that the new Mountain Vista hospital is no better! Steer clear if possible!!

ER almost killed my son. We were not at an accident scene, we were at the ER. He had fluid on his lungs and the ER was trying to take a huge stabbing type bar to stab through his chest and break his chest cavity while he is still conscious. INSANE!!! Then they ended up putting a drainage tube thru his ribs and hooked on a drainage bag, so there he sit in the hospital for a week. My brother had the same condition and he lives in Tennessee. The ER doctor drawn the fluid off his lung with a needle and sent him home. Hello???

The ICU staff is horrible, I would go anywhere else than here. Very unprofessional staff in the ICU, nobody communicates with each other, never the same nurse day to day, at night they are very loud, not a place to heal, more to come.

Dont ever use this hospital. My loved one has been here almost a month. No real medical answer. She's been left in her own feces numerous times today was two hours they kept clearing the call button and moving along. They wont help her eat or serve her food warm. It sits on the nurses station for hours. They wont even let her order or help her. They haven't gotten her out of bed and they dont seem to care in the slightest. This happened even in icu when there was two patients just two in her whole section an hour sitting in feces. Today she wasn't served any meals until 530. She has drains and no answers as to where the output is coming and all biopsies have been cancelled with no reason given. Completley disgusted the list can go on and on. Sad I have to call the director of nursing from out of state to get her any help.

Absolutely horrible hospital. At least the ER department is from my experience. This place should be shut down for gross negligence. My mother died in the ER of this hospital and she was left there unrefrigerated for 21 hours. We were told that she would be taken to the morgue soon after we left that day. I was told that I had a few days to find a mortuary. The next morning at 8 a.m. I received a call from the ER very rudely telling me to find a mortuary because the hospital morgue was full. What? Seriously? It took them 20 hours to tell me this? I was livid. Because of their gross negligence, my mother was extremely bloated and was starting to show signs of decomposition. The hospital was unapologetic and did not care at all. Due to this, we were unable to have a viewing prior to her cremation because her physical condition would have been too disturbing to see. I have never seen or heard of such blatant disregard and disrespect for the deceased and I worked at a hospital for several years. This kind of treatment is barbaric.
