Three pools, a lazy river and a championship golf course along with a luxurious spa and Fitness room. Three separate restaurants on site and a barbecue restaurant and Sports Bar connected to the clubhouse. Wish I could live here

Beautiful hotel, room service left something to be desired.

It is a great hotel with friendly staff and good food

For a 5 star hotel, the parking situation was a bit frustrating. Not enough spaces for self-parking. Internet also seemed slow to me. Everything else was nice enough.

Super nice resort with multiple pools, free nighty tequila tastings, and complimentary water. The only problem is the restaurant prices are crazy high and you're not close to anything else, so you must drive off the resort to go anywhere reasonably priced for food.

Been there years ago as a kid. One of the greatest hotels I've ever been in. Amazing architecture, great pools, beautiful decoration and very nice breakfast buffet. I want to come again someday.

I went to the restaurant a few times while eating.
The whole complex blends in beautifully with the beautiful scenery around Tucson.
A unique ambience awaits you when it gets dark, the temperatures are more bearable and the candles, campfires and the meter-high gas lanterns are burning.
Not to mention the excellent dishes that are served first class.

Beds were way too firm. Some of the staff was unprofessional. Incredible views, and very quiet.

Went to this fabulous resort for a weekend get-away with friends and all of our kids. The food was fantastic, the staff courteous, and the kids loved the pools and lazy river. Can't wait to go back next year.

I wish I could give 5 stars, but the parking situation was terrible. Valet $25 a day. If not valet you park on the street or in the parking garage. The parking garage is at the other end of the resort so you will walk a little ways to the main area and rooms.

Friends room wasn't ready after multiple correspondence. Had a package shipped to the hotel and was not notified of arrival after being told it would be brought to our room. Ups charged us $10 for handling on top of the original cost of actual shipping.. rooms seem clean and spacious. Pool is awesome.

I attended the resort as part of an event for women in cybersecurity. My experience has been fantastic - staff members are pleasant, service is prompt and the location is beautiful. The rooms are clean and spacious! Hopefully I can come back for leisure in the future!

The service at the JW is exploratory, our room is very spacious even for a family of 4, and the location is beautiful. Looking forward to the rest of our stay.

The breakfast event was well staffed with amazing lighting and set up! Starr Pass is very consistently a wonderful setting for many events I've attended over the years.

I've only been to the Signature Grill (a little spendy but delicious) and the patio (free access!), but the ambience is stellar.

So this is going to be the recension nr 1000 (!) wow. i ll be there in April but... i d like to make compliments before.

Went there for the super bowl game but the TV signal was so bad we left. Nachos were good. The main lobby tv was excellent and the crowd was elevated in class.

I was there on a business trip but the staff was great. They almost force you to get valet parking but that's typical of a resort type hotel I guess. I had to park in the 'free' parking lot (I think it still had a daily rate, though much cheaper than valet) far on the edge of the actual hotel but it was still covered parking.

The entire resort is just gorgeous, breathtaking, really. The service is friendly, maintenance is great, and restaurants are delicious. The only issue I have with the resort is the lack of cellular reception and WiFi connectivity--the rooms are like a black hole for my T-Mobile network. I had to stand by the door to make phone calls and send text messages and emails, even after "connecting" to the resort's free WiFi. Please get a stronger connection so I can have fun at this wonderful resort and get work done!

Great HOTEL 5 STARS, but nothing but the hotel in the area. WIFI limited, if your hotel wants feedback and social media response, open your Internet access to everyone.

This place has been one of my absolute favorite places to stay. The view from the public patio and all the rooms I've stayed in has been amazing. I'm on week five of returning here and I have no intention of staying anywhere else, anytime soon. The service and care of the entire staff is beyond phenomenal. Anna at Salud is absolutely amazing. My coworkers and I have eaten off the same menu for weeks now, but the level of service we experience can't be found elsewhere. The rooms are kept clean and updated. The wifi is incredibly fast and consistent. If you twisted my arm for a negative comment, then I would say the parking is a bit of a hike away. But the valet service isn't much more expensive than the parking and they are all great to interact with. This is seriously one of my favorite hotels. Anna is amazing. The Salud beer is incredible. The location and scenery is unmatched. I only wish I could rate this place higher than 5/5 stars.

All the amenities one would expect at a swanky joint with 3 or more restaurants on site and a daily Tequila Toast at 530p. Drove up and caught the sun setting behind the mountains in the background. Pretty darn spectacular, if you like that sorta thing. They don't have an airport shuttle though, which seemed kind of odd to me but whatever. Uber/Lyft can find the place.

JW Marriott Tucson Star Pass was amazing! The resort was beautiful, and the views were spectacular. My wife and I both thought the service was on point, which made our stay at the resort pleasant and relaxing.

Great service and venue for a conference. The food is amazing.

Had a wonderful dinner out by a roaring fire in one of the personal fireplaces the server was helpful and friendly and checked on us just enough to be sure the group was well taken care of (even recommending desserts). I'll be back for more...

Great lunch at the club house, the tacos as amazing. Very nice quiet atmosphere to discuss business.

If you haven't been to a jw Marriott property, do yourself a favor and check this one out. Even if you are a native Tucsonan, it's just a gorgeous place. Golf is great, restaurants are great, scenery is great. I haven't yet stayed in a room, but I probably will soon just for a night away with the wife.

Very nice hotel, nice pleasant staff in a very amidst the beautiful sonoran desert landscape, surrounded by the Sahuaro Cactus that make this place so scenic and unique to the Tucson topography!!

Nice enough place. Pretty far from the city, although I guess that's why they call it a resort.

Had a wonderful time. I need to mention two people: Our server, Claudia who very friendly and professional and chef Alex. When I stated I would like a recipe she brought out chef Alex who was very gracious. They made the trip especially worthwhile.

It s so gorgeous. I went there in July for a conference and the weather was so nice. Hot for sure, but the evening wind and rain were worth it. The staff was almost embarrassingly attentive. I felt guilty I was treated so well. Literally the only bad thing I have to say is that cell reception is terrible, but the WiFi is great

Facility is gorgeous. Amazing views, great decor, pool is wonderful. Service leaves something to be desired, though. We found ourselves waiting for drinks at multiple times and multiple places, to the point where we had to go find the waitress and ask her to come help us. But everything else about the resort was great. Room was super nice. I wish I didn't have to go to my conference so I'm could just hand out in the room all day.

I love this resort. There are deer in the stream that can be seen from the window, and they treat me very well every time I go.

Great stay. Check-in & check-out can be handled entirely by the app, as well as unlocking your room. Pool & Lazy River were busy, but not overly so. Great place for a weekend away!

Sweet place. It has the best views of the surrounding scenery and you are able to over look Tucson. Also it has a nature trail behind the hotel.

Absolutely beautiful location with great amenities. Reasonably priced rooms and closer to town than it seems!

They delivered a fridge for the room when I just asked if it was included. Totally awesome! Beautiful place. We stay here every year around the holidays.

It's owned by the same people who own the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain where she works.

Front desk was very unorganized They messed up my reservation and charged me for an extra room I'm still trying to get my money back from that. And watch out for the amenity fee! $30 bucks a night. Be sure to check your patio for lots of mouse poop. This place is polished turd.

Construction is limiting a lot of activities, golf courses for the day and, old Tucson are worth seeing. Not worth parking in the fire lanes, and it's some distance to take luggage if you don't go with valet.

Good things- Kid friendly, beautiful views, friendly staff, good drinks, nice hotel grounds, Starbucks on property

Bad things in no order--most indoor plants dying lacking water and care. No social distancing/mask enforcement. Large Stains on carpet throughout hallways, small rooms, trash floating in lazy river. Other guests not respecting social distancing and leaving kids unsupervised, no staff oversight to enforce resort rules. Trash in room from previous guests. Dirty curtains leading to patio..

Hotel was great. Service was excellent. The food was absolutely terrible.

My recent stay was absolutely breathtaking. The city view of Tucson is like nothing I've ever seen. And being able to meet austronuts was just the coolest thing! This place definitely set a new bar for resort accommodations!

Beautiful facility has renovation going on right now so room view blocked by scaffolding. Remote in room didnt work but everything else is really nice.

This establishment has class all over it. I attended a event here that was just amazing. Great food, great music, amazing ambience

Stunning surroundings and hiking around the hotel. We ve really enjoyed our conference here followed by long weekend of hiking with the family. Gluten free accommodations have been excellent. Chef Alex has spearheaded making us feel totally comfortable with his and staff knowledge around cross contamination and staying healthy when you have celiac disease. We ve felt great here and eaten like kings and had very friendly service throughout the week:)

This place is definitely affordable luxury. It is in a beautiful location and has very friendly staff. The grounds have phenomenal views and have a ton to do and see. The rooms all have great views. The ONLY downfall is that the beds aren't all that comfortable. Other than that, it's a great hotel and you will not be let down.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. Service from the hotel staff was great, food tasted lovely, great view from hotel room, and the amenities were spot on. I would ve liked a bigger gym, but the equipment supplied was substantial. I would definitely come back here again. Thanks for making my trip to Tucson an awesome one!

Always love my experience at star pass whether its business or personal

I had the BEST birthday ever thanks to a few special staff members and my fantastic husband!! I want to give big kudos to Elizabeth, Alliyah, and Michelle at the Hashani Spa. Elizabeth is the best ever and I got the greatest hospitality from Alliyah and my daughter received great service from Michelle. They assisted in my experience being one to remember.

I would like to also give kudos to Wayne!!! The buffet chef at the Signature Room. The food was the BEST. Made my dinner experience for 3 also a night to remember.

AND, I cannot leave out my check in attendant; Eric and my check-out attendant Gannon. These two and the others mentioned above made my birthday as well as my stay at the resort that much more beautiful. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Consuelo Campbell
