Food was okay, my medium rare burger was pretty rare but still good. Pretty strong cocktails, decent prices. All in all it was pretty good but we'll probably go somewhere different for out next fine dining trip.

What really stands out is that every single item on them menu is really intentional. All the dishes we had were phenomenal, the salmon and radicchio was a very generous portion for a small plate, the mussels were great, and the accidental fries they brought us were a very pleasant unrequested accident that we more than happily enjoyed!

If you can, try their cocktails. Their mezcal negroni is the best in town, and they nailed the olive juice to gin ratio in the martini.

Otherwise, they patio is beautiful and feels like a nice tucked away secret for being in downtown. If you can be there when there is music, try for it, always great ambience. One of the hidden gems of Tucson!

Made online reservations that some how vanished from their system. Was seated on patio where we waited a long time for any of the servers that repeatedly passed by to acknowledge us. The dinner special was not an option because they ran out. Ordered a steak but they didn t have that either. The server that eventually showed up needs lessons on how to be friendly and accommodating to customers. The restaurant site has much potential but it s management needs much work before I d ever return.

Ignore the negative reviews that are anonymous. This is a classy and breezy European style restaurant with jazzy vibes. Old world style meets regional ingredients in a menu bursting with fresh locally sourced fruits and vegetables. Check out the website because the head chef redirects the menu to follow the season. Expect a blend of old world rustic ideas as rendered by award winning chef Erica Bostick-Esham. I have had one fantastic meal after another at The Coronet. Five stars!

Lovely little cafe with inventive but unfussy food. I had Lima bean mash & poached egg. The meal came with a side of harissa, bread points and marinaded tomatoes. Absolutely perfect lunch on a sunny patio with great, friendly waitstaff. My waitress even checked with the chef on where the Lima beans were purchased because I was so smitten. My husband will be introduced soon as the burgers looked great.
Can't wait to go back

My daughter lives in Tucson and on my visit she had been curious about this venue and we were not disappointed. A very European feel sitting on the patio and listening to a talented musician. Our meals were superb. I had the special... bbq chicken and roasted baby potatoes with a salad.. she had a burger... extra large... we had leftovers. We shared the lemon tart . Delish!

I have eaten several times and the food is always fresh, interesting and delicious. I had the olives, marcona almonds, a soft boiled eggs, cucumbers, pomegranate seeds and spanish tuna. It was simple, gorgeous and delicious. The wait staff is always friendly and I love sitting outside on the lovely patio. Even on a hot Tucson day, the misters and shade make it very comfortable.

A charming Parisian inspired cafe featuring bold coffee and unique flavor combinations. But that's where the charm ends. The food is unique, but not executed well. Soggy chips and rock hard bread are not my idea of a good meal. My kids made the right choice by going with the waffles.

Menu was a little ambitious, I don't think they are quite reaching the level they are aspiring towards. Also service was lacking for this price.
We had the liver toast, not really balanced or executed well. Quails were extremely small and over cooked but the flavors were great. Pork loin was tasty and cooked well.
Overall, not bad but need some staff improvements.

Stopped by to get a quick drink. We didn't have time to grab a bite on this trip, but we will definitely be back. The location and the atmosphere is great. The hostess and servers were so quick and accommodating. They assured us right away and found us a seat at the bar. Bar tender came over right away and asked for our order and also had a couple of recommendations for specials of the day.

We grabbed a quick beer and a old fashioned. Beer was nice and cold, and the mixed drink was nice and strong and perfectly made. As we sat and enjoyed our drinks we had the opportunity to see a lot of the dishes come out. The one that stood out the most was definitely the pork chop with mashed potatoes. Looked and smelled fantastic. The couple next to us couldn't stop raving about it. Definitely will order that on our next visit.

They do have a great drink menu with lots of specialty drinks available. The place itself was so quaint/retro side it was as if you stepped back in time to the 30s or 40s era. (Not a bad thing) very warm and inviting.

The hostess was very nice and informative. Told us about the dishes and also recommended reservations if you wanted a table. At least 2-3 days in advanced. They can accommodate parties, and they do have a area where you can have a private area for 14+ people. If you haven't been, it's a must go for a drink or a nice dinner!

This place is full of style and delicious food, located in the huzz buzz of Tucson, charming outdoor seating, local musicians, and the citrus chicken I could only dream of making.

Would take someone I was trying to impress, the service was stellar.

I have to give this place to Stars just because of its location. It's always been wanting to visit this joint maybe it's just not for me but I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anybody else. Maybe for a coffee on the patio but anything above that as far as eating I'll choose somewhere else...

The building itself is a gem. The new owners have opened up another part of the property, and so there is more room to enjoy this place. The music they offer -- sometimes it's live -- is fab. The food is delicious and I like the wine list too. I think this is a great date place, although I haven't been on a date for many years.

A very unique Tucson spot.
High end selections in food and drink, always excellent live music. Beautiful decor and interior.
One of the best places in town for dining outdoors.

We sat on the patio on a beautiful January night. Although our table candle ran out twice, the ambiance was nice and unexpected for the back alley location. The food was pretty good but would not recommend the tuna appetizer as it was very reminiscent of canned tuna... highlight of the meal was barrio bread with dipping olive oil.

It's so nice here. I do wish the menu was less ... How do i say?... Creative. Half the stuff seems weird for the sake of being weird. Kind of lands flat and there's no way its all fresh, but its so nice inside the gorgeous bar and on the patio. That i keep coming back. I also wish they wouldn't decorate for holidays, It's usually repulsive.

Incredible. Possibly the best date-night restaurant in downtown. They had a live jazz band in the courtyard, space heaters for every table, blankets...the atmosphere wasn't something you'd expect for Tucson. It felt like being in Europe for an hour and a half. For dinner we had the Lamb Meatballs with Tomato Curry and the Slow Roast Turmeric Pork and the Cafe Fernet (espresso, fernet-branca, whipped-cream and cocoa) for dessert. All perfect, no complaints. We went back the next morning for breakfast. We ordered the Shakshuka and House Granola with Yogurt & Seasonal Fruit. Everything was perfect. I'll be a routine customer for as long as I live in Tucson.

The Flying V has excellent food, wine and service. It's casual enough for kids and fancy enough for a wedding party' rehearsal dinner. The cornbread was amazing and the guacamole made at your table is an experience. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and that was without eating dessert, which I had no room for!

Love the new location! Super cute and personal while being luxurious and sleek. I love their modified menu and the cocktails are great! Made same day reservations for a friends birthday party, had great service, great drinks, and cleaned every single plate. Shelly the owner was very sweet and helped me find my phone (left it in the bathroom). Very wholesome and quaint. Definitely my new favorite date night spot

Friends invited us along to the Coronet for dinner outdoors at the restaurant. This is a relatively new location for the Coronet. We have dined at the old location. The food is still wonderful and flavorful. They have a large courtyard and a couple of other outdoor spaces which are set up for current conditions and for cool nights there are heaters a plenty. The wait staff is knowledgeable and the choices on the menu are small plates making it easy to try more than one item during your meal. We chose several items from the menu for the two of us and our friends did the same so that each couple could share their choices separately. We will go back to this restaurant as we felt quite comfortable and for such a fine restaurant the prices were reasonable, less than expected.

Terrible service (the person that eventually waited on us told us our server forgot about us multiple times) albeit decent food, but it was lukewarm when it finally came out. Not worth the money or the time.

Good location for delicious American food. Service is always super even when they have a full house. I'll return with my coworkers. Prices that are reasonable. I can see why they have so many good reviews.

Best restaurant in Tucson! I've had two amazing meals here a year apart on visits. Cocktails and wine menu are top notch. Small and large plates come out beautifully presented and delicious. Service is warm and kind, with helpful suggestions. I love the historic decor inside, but have only sat on the fantastic patio. Go & enjoy!

Eat at the Coronet about once a quarter, 3 or 4 times a year. The food and the staff are always first rate. However, this review is about an online cooking class sponsored by the Coronet. First rate and a Blast! Learned to cook a menu I have never tried before. Learned new technics and the food I cooked turned out fantastic. Boy was I surprised I could cook something that tasted that good. Will do again if offered.

The Coronet is a great brunch spot on the corner of 4th and 9th. It was very busy so our service was a little slow but overall they did a fabulous job and I have no complaints on flavour or food. The photo is of the mushroom melody egg Florentine. I ordered a paloma with mezcal, and it came as more of a very small drink or shot, which I wasn't expecting but it was still good. I also tried one of their watermelon cocktails which was excellent and I highly recommend they were giving 30% of the proceeds of that drink to a local charity that day . It's a great spot and I'm sure I'll be back for brunch in the future.
