Received bids from three Solar companies, so happy I went with NZS, From Brian in sales to Sam the lead installer it was a seemless transaction. All work done in a day, very impressed with the installation crew, very professional. Well done guys.

I asked Net Zero Solar for a quote and the owner has been nothing but stellar in providing me with information and the process they go through. Not your typical pushy salesman. In the end I did not end up going Solar since I plan on moving out of my current house soon.

I'm a building systems engineer so I'm involved in specifying and recommending all types of electrical and mechanical systems as a part of my job, including solar thermal and solar electric systems. So I'm probably as demanding a customer as any solar installer might encounter.

Without hesitation, I highly recommend Chad Waits and his team at Net Zero Solar for grid-tied and off-grid solar systems. NZS installed my grid-tied PV system 6 years ago at a competitive price, on schedule and with no hassles.

NZS apparently doesn't have a problem with turn-over as the six guys I know by name all still work for NZS. In this industry and given what's happening in Arizona (utility push-back against rooftop solar), that's pretty darn impressive. I look forward to the annual "solar mixers" where NZS customers can meet one another and chill outdoors with good food and drink.

Net Zero Solar of Tucson provided thorough information including pricing, generation forecasts, and installation details to help us make our decision to install a grid-tied, solar photovoltaic system on our roof. The installation was conducted very professionally with a complete review before customer acceptance of the system. We have experienced no problems with the system and it generates consistently according to the forecast. In addition, the panels were sturdy in the face of hail and other weather extremes and continue to function at full capacity several years later.

Net Zero Solar did a fantastic job setting up our home in Tucson with a complete rooftop solar system. Their team was well coordinated, communication was outstanding, and every step of the process was carried out professionally, on time, and without a hitch. We had several, like 3 other solar quotes before finding and getting a quote from Net Zero Solar. I am so glad we took our time and research stuff before committing to anyone else to do our solar job. Brian came out to give us the solar quote and was straight forward and honest with us the whole time, which we appreciated. The process was easy to complete with paperwork being able to be completed via email and they did a good job installing. We had some roof tiles break during the process and they took care of this too. We have had about 2 months on solar now and the second bill after paying TEP fees was only $19.99!!! Our house is 2 stories with 2 AC units so we couldn't be more excited about this. Overall cost of this company was comparable to all except Solar City who wanted about $10,000 more but we would rather use the honest local little guys over someone else. We would highly recommend Net Zero to anyone looking to get solar. They make the process painless and they only use quality equipment and monitoring systems! So glad we went with them for our solar needs.

Extremely satisfied with Net Zero Solar. They answered all our questions clearly and in detail. They were prompt in responding to all questions and concerns at every step of the way. After checking out other solar providers, we decided to go with Net Zero. They provided good explanations and descriptions in advance of a "right-sized" system for us and did not try to sell us more panels than we needed. Communication was excellent at every step of the installation process. Our system has been on-line for over a month now and we are happy with the results - especially with the great on-line software which allows you to track usage, production, and savings!

We are still in our first calendar year, and the system has functioned as predicted. I had looked at 3 other companies before Net Zero. They presented us with the best price. Low pressure sales. Once the process was started Net Zero stayed on schedule, the staff was personable.

We installed a solar system in 2016 for new home construction, specifying what we, independent of Net Zero, had determined would be adequate capacity. The installation was flawless and the NetZero team worked with us to insure that we got properly grandfathered under the ever-changing TEP net-metering rules. Once in residence, we remembered that "Oops, we used to use gas for water heater and forced air heating, but now we're all-electric" and had not specified enough capacity. Net Zero worked with use to make the upgrade.

I can't say enough about how professional and accommodating this company is. They went the extra mile to make our system and the cosmetics in our peculiar home/hangar complex work. You can't go wrong with these guys!

We selected Net Zero Solar to install a residential Solar PV array on our property. We requested quotes from 6 vendors, received 5 quotes and selected Net Zero based on installation design/equipment, price, customer service and installation window/schedule. Chad Waits was our initial contact with Net Zero. Very knowledgeable about Solar PV and the Tucson solar market. All our dealings with Net Zero were straightforward, professional and prompt. Everyone we dealt with at Net Zero was professional and courteous from Chad & Trace in the office to Mike and installation crew. The installation was accomplished in 2-1/2 days with a minimum of fuss. The install guys took the time to answer all our questions and walk us thru the operation of the system including the Enphase monitoring. We're very happy with Net Zero Solar and have recommended them to others.

Chad Waits and his Net Zero Solar crew are the best. We asked for bids from 4 different Solar companies in Apr 2013. Chad's presentation was completely professional. He took the time to explain every aspect of the process. The system he recommended for our home was very similar to those offered by the other companies we interviewed. But, his price was the best and he was eager to answer all questions. We struck a deal. In Jun 2013 the crew completed installation of a solar array on our roof. It went into service on 11 June and has performed perfectly ever since. We love our system. Everyone on the crew during the installation was courteous and totally professional. Net Zero personnel were excellent. They were courteous, friendly, highly responsive when contacted, treated us with respect, answered our questions well and displayed genuine interest in us and our installation. The installation went very well. When Net Zero discovered a problem with our roof, they called in a roofing expert and then fixed the problem themselves - above and beyond!

No problems whatsoever from start to finish. Excellent initial proposal that was less $$ than expected and sized appropriately. System was installed by their exceptional crew in a day and a half and 2 weeks ahead of schedule. All paperwork and permits were handled by NZ, even our HOA! I would highly recommend Net Zero solar. This is a difficult landscape to understand and not get a sales job done on you. Net Zero takes out all the confusion and shoots straight with what you get and how it will perform towards your solar needs and expectations. They were on-time with no surprises and made the whole process seamless and pleasant.

Had a great experience with Net Zero - the system was competitively priced and the staff was very informative and helpful from the first meeting all the way through install and support. I really feel like they helped target the system to my specific desire and they made sure to have my financial interests in mind - they weren't just trying to put the biggest system possible on the roof.

I am a member of a distributed generation (DG) solar group in Cochise County working with the Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Coop (SSVEC) on their utility rate case and the consensus of our group is Net Zero Solar is the best solar power installer and maintainer in Sierra Vista, AZ and all of Cochise County, AZ. Both SSVEC and all the members of our DG solar group agree with this evaluation not just for their installation quality, but just as importantly for the quality and responsiveness of service once the solar system is installed. Net Zero Solar wants to have an outstanding initial and long-term relationship with its customers. For example, they sponsor an annual social for all of their existing solar customers to exchange ideas and help improve their service. I personally have found this annual mixer to be very helpful and am very happy with all aspects of Net Zero Solar s service. I have had one issue with my system since it was installed in 2012 and Net Zero Solar was out the next day to address it at no cost to me outstanding! I have a couple of friends that used other vendors and the support during installation and the service afterwards does not even compare with Net Zero Solar.

The Net Zero guys are super professionals. We gave them a very difficult timeline and they were able to finish on time. We're really happy to be cranking out kWs and I strongly recommend giving Net Zero a call if you're considering PV.

Net Zero is a good, local solar company. We are very happy to have hired them to generate our electricity for us instead of continuing to give so much of our money to a Canadian conglomerate monopoly (Tucson Electric / Fortis Corp)! Net Zero company President Chad is very friendly, professional, and accessible. Of the 3 companies we asked for quotes, Net Zero was the only one willing to work with us to consider our efficiency upgrades and estimate our future energy use. The other two companies tried to sell us systems that were way larger, and more expensive, than we actually needed, but Net Zero helped us get into something that meets our needs and that we can afford. I actually get excited when I see their truck around town putting up another system! Also, I made a couple recommendations to friends, and Net Zero found out I had mentioned their company, and since both of these friends went solar with Net Zero, they sent me a $200 check for each referral!

Here's how I was sold on Net Zero: I went to a party at their warehouse. Yes, you read that right. Net Zero throws at their warehouse.

During the party, a guy walked up to me with a sheaf of electric bills and proclaimed, "I'm living the Net Zero lifestyle!"

And what that might be?

Simply put, it's an electric bill that says you don't owe anything. And he had a bunch of those.

A few years later, I was able to afford solar panels on my roof. Guess who I called.

The estimating and installation process were wonderful. And now I'm awaiting the installation of the grid-tie meter (hurry up, Tucson Electric Power!) so I can start enjoying the Net Zero lifestyle.

Kudos to Net Zero Solar! Finally support for a cobbled together system that a friend installed several years ago. Chad and Louis to the rescue. They upgraded my weak system with more panels and a new controller to work with my existing equipment. I use solar power with batteries for most of my household uses and the grid for heavier use (HVAC and clothes dryer). They even updated my electrical box which had some pretty scary wiring. Next on the list was a new solar hot water system that is taking a huge load off my grid use. I am so happy to have local support for future maintenance and any trouble shooting if needed.

In March, 2014, Net Zero Solar installed 24 LG electronics LG290N1C solar modules, each coupled with an Enphase energy M250 microinverter. They completed the installation on time and in budget, having taken care of all permits, inspections and coordination with SSVEC.

This 6.96 kW system has performed flawlessly since going online March 28, 2014 and has produced over 3.3 MegaWatt hours of clean energy to date.
