Beautiful area. The grounds are perfectly kept. I golf courses look great. Pools and services are excellent. Some rooms have been update however mine is not. It could use updates. I am here for a business conference. The conference center is a very nice setting.

After all JW. There is a group of flamingos seen at Seoul Grand Park in the pond.

Best hotel in the area. A lot of wildvlife on the lake. Great service and rooms.

Beautiful property, well appointed rooms, definitely a getaway spot. Everything you need is on the property. Really impressive location for a conference.

This JW is one of the best in the country! I have been here numerous times for both vacations and for conferences. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. The amenities are great and the golfing is fabulous.

If you want to stay at a massive, corporate, dated hotel where the service is terrible then this is the place to stay. If you're looking for a relaxing , enjoyable spot, the desert has so much to offer. Stay someplace else, you'll arrive here and be depressed.

Great place for a getaway. Fun pools, bars and restaurants. Golf is two classic resort courses. Super values in the summer and pricey in the season

The atmosphere was amazing and the views were gorgeous.

Always a great place to spend some time away from the city. Good if you have kids or if you are just looking for a quick getaway with your special someone. I have tried other hotels in the area and none of them compare in service and amenities. Remodeled now too. Walking distance to a supermarket if you need some things. No reason to stay anywhere else in the area.

The resort is beautiful and this is the 2nd time we've stayed here. However, our experience has been less than optimal this time due to a mix up with our room and housekeeping.

I ve been going to this place for twenty something years. Place is legendary. My favorite adult get away place. Pool is always raging with great crowd. People are usually cool and like to have fun. Great ratio too. Backflips.

Classic California desert resort with amazing grounds, gardens, pools, restaurants, and spa. Maybe not the hippest or trendiest place in the region, but definitely done right.

This is an oasis in the middle of the desert. Very nice place to take a rest swimming in a great swimming pool.

Excellent location, beautiful scenery. Be sure to check out the birds and the boat ride!

Fantastic resort. Friendly staff, variety of restaurants on site, rooms are very clean and modern and over some great views on the upper floors.

What a great experience! Was out here for a work event. Great service! Great food! But most of all great view.

Feedback: The room we were in 4221 shower kept leaking out and it made us use nearly all the towels to keep the water from spilling to the carpet. Which we forgot to mention when we checked out.

Other than that we had a great time.

Awesome! My husband & I searched Mexico all inclusives, Hawaii & the Caribbean.....we wanted a quick, easily accessible get away & we hit the jackpot. The grounds of the resort are immaculate and beautiful. Flamingos, ducks and humming birds add to the water falls and colorful gardens. The pool is spectacular. Several pool areas, some with a *few* kids, some without- all are included. 5 restaurants, a night club, motor cycle rentals, shops and oh have I mentioned, a fabulous golf course. Definitely the perfect getaway with something for everyone. Stop looking- this is the one.

The place was very nice. It was great that I walked into a cold room. It was a large resort and well maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Love the pools, the rooms were clean and staff was incredibly accommodating. I'm a local but I'll definitely be staying again.

This place is spectacular. I attended a trade show here, didn't stay because it wasn't in the budget (we truly traveled on the cheap) but would definitely stay here next time knowing the rates - very reasonable for what you get. They have everything you want and more. Want to rent a Harley? No problem. Want to hang out by the flamingos? No problem. Want to paddle a boat from inside the lobby out into the pond? No problem. Carzy cool.

Enjoyed my visit. My favorite part was the spa! Nice view of the desert mountains. We got to the resort at 1pm and they were unable to get us into a room until 4pm. Besides that it had been a pleasant stay. The staff have all been great.

The hotel grounds and location is beautiful. The hotel has a lot to do on premises and the staff was exceptional. Would definitely go again.

I won t be back to this place treat you as if you have a bag over your face

We had a nice stay at the JW Marriott resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, albeit in need of a little updating. It was easy to get to, so the location is nice. Overall, we'd stay here again.

I absolutely loved it! If you take the time to be in the moment then you'll truly see the beauty of this location!

Very nice. Convinient starbucks. Easy parking. Plenty to do, I wish I could have swam or enjoyed some golf. Club was better than expected.

An amazing display of hubris to have so much water and green in the middle of the desert.

Second year in a row that I ve spent the holidays here. The property is expansive with three pools, a golf course, a lake with black swans and pink flamingos, a spa, a fitness center and many other amenities. The only drawback is the room is outdated. They re renovating, but the rooms are really old. The best part of this property is the luxurious buffet at the Rockwood Grill. It was amazing and expensive at somewhere around $75 per person, but it s worth it.

Spent 3 nights at the JW Marriott last weekend. The staff was very friendly overall and were great as always. Our room was on the 7th floor and honestly appeared dated with old wall paper, old paint and pop corn ceilings. We were located along way from the elevator and had a long walk to our room. The hallways are dated and need updating big time including the carpeting. The ceilings in the hallways are also popcorn and the windows appear dated. The maid service/cleaners did not clean our room one night and we were paying top dollar. They over booked the golf course and play was slow so we had to switch from one course to another to finish the second 9 before dark. This use to be one of our favorite places to come and the grounds are beautiful overall. The grand foyer is one of my favorites. JW needs to update it to keep it as one of the grand hotels in the area.

Super big and beautiful. Little man made pond with flamingos in the front! Boats that go Inside the hotel lobby (resort has a lake). Staff was nice and food at most restaurants was allergen friendly which was a huge relief for me.

Love staying at this place! Nice setting relaxing. Staff is always pleasant. Need to have the swans flamingos and the gondola ride. The only thing I may suggest would be that they need the rooms to be updated.

I am very disappoint about the hotel.
I reserved the hotel(Sept, 4th 2016) with my mileage and arrived at 3:38 pm
Hotel check-in time was 4:00 pm officially . So hotel front desk asked me to wait to be ready to room.
my feeling is that they do not give me the good room because I reserved it with milage.( no room ready.... it is check-in time...)

I did not get any room ready SMS until 4:30 and when I ask them when the room is ready, they told do not know.
they told unkindly hotel desk just will send SMS message and customer(me) waitd short minutes.
it is very expensive hotel and the hotel received 7 stars. I used the marriot hotel many times and save the big milage.
I really upset and cancel the reservation immediately.
please ask the hotel if there is ready room now.

This JW Marriott has an iconic feel from the late 80s early 90s. They say all good things come back every 30 years, and this place is no different. It has excellent views. The outdoor pool is amazing and they took good care of us during our stay for my birthday. They have an indoor Starbucks which is convenient for travelers like me. We were upgraded to a suite using my credits. Make sure you get to see the swans floating around in the lake

Out of 5 stars I would give this venue 10. easy. The staff here made my wedding of 500 guests an absolutely amazing day for my husband and I. I can't thank them enough for all the hard work and service. They will find a way to make anything you want come true, they saved the day multiple times as my decoration company completely failed me and almost ruined the whole event for me, they came in and saved the day. Staff was by my side all night making sure everything was attended to. Not one guest complained, out of 500 people. that is amazing. Food was absolutely delicious and the cake was beyond delicious. Drinks were plentiful, no ones water glass was ever empty. I am beyond words for this venue and highly highly highly recommend it. Adil Gozum, the even coordinator is literally my knight in shining armor. Thank you JW marriot for making my wedding a complete dream come true. I really did feel like a princess that day thanks to you all!

We ended up booking rooms as well, family, bridal party, tons of people. Every single guest was in aw! Especially my husband and I. Loved the suites!!

Let's not forget to mention the property is gorgeous!! Absolutely breathtaking!

My reason for the 3 stars, we were on an exchange. Although we could only get a studio, Interval International stipulated that we can get an upgrade if a one or two bedroom suite is avail. Upon check-in, we asked if we can get an upgrade. The woman who checked us in didn't bother to see if a one bedroom was svail. She simply implied that no, we can't get an upgrade. That we have to go to IT. I pointed that IT has in writing about a possible upgrade. I thought she would at least check but no, she didn't do that. We will not reserve a studio again. The sofa bed, couch, was the worst couch. Pillows kept sliding. So uncomfortable that I sat on the bed. The staff, however, was nice. This review is for the Marriot Desert Spring, Palm Desert Vacation Resort.

We took a fun boat ride, then had an amazing dinner at Mkado's!

I went there with my wife and the service was top-notch. We loved the pool-side restaurant and the views of the mountain and desert. Highly recommended. It's not a small quaint hotel, but it has all the amenities of a larger resort and would be great for a biz trip as well.

It was really great. The people at the front wrre very sincere as well.

The swimming pool is very big and can fit many people. It was very busy during the day but at evening it calmed down. They have different pools all varying in size shape and depth.

Nice place to grab a bite to eat. Do the boat ride.

We got stuck in the elevator for 15 mins with no ac. 9 people in the elevator it was hot kids where yelling. We where with my 70 year old Mom freaking out. We didn t even get an I m sorry. We ran out of the elevator as soon as it was opened. They acted like it was no big deal.

This place definitely has the wow factor... Dramatic interiors, lush grounds, great views, and a variety of dining choices... The stand-alone spa complex provides for a very pleasant experience.
