I would not stay here again. Pools are okay, rooms are okay. They have double beds no queens. Customer service is definitely not worth paying $399.00 per night. We had an incident where we came back to the room and our door was open. We tested the door to see if it closed on its own and it did. I was the last one out and saw the door close behind me. This does not happen at a 4 or 5 star hotel paying $399 a night. We had our wallets, jewelry and some other valuable items in the room. They didn't apologize, or offered any complimentary wine or resort credit. It would have been the least they could do for almost having our stuff stolen. Not to mention it was also my friends birthday. At this price you would think they would include continental breakfast. They don't even do that. I don't recommend this place.

I was here for a conference. Beautiful location and the facilities are well set up. The only downside is the same as for most hotels. The conference rooms are kept way too cold. But at least there was plenty of hot coffee to warm up.

Lots of room types and locations to choose from. I googled the outside and walked around before checking in to get the room I wanted. Needless to say I got the best view, most privacy, quietest stay POSSIBLE! I give this place 5 stars! One of those high quality places that thinks of everything. The little things. That just make sense. Like "o i forgot mouthwash. Yup, that's complimentary in the room. My girlfriends liked the smell of the shampoo and conditioner. Outlets face different directions to accommodate finicky plugs on hair dryers. Bracelets. Scan room keys. Late pool. Pool bar. Poolside music. Easy sliding balcony doors. Balcony with plants. Lake. Fish. Black Swans, White Swans, mini bunnies, great mountain views. Elevators fast. Unused elevator queue's with door already open. Extensive spa. Can't do it all in one stay. LUXURY LUXURY LUXURY.

Very nice hotel the high class you take in the view from the entrance to the car park especially with the Flamand-roses, the boat ride that leaves from the lobby, but the rooms are not like the hotel they are not very large , the old-fashioned carpet as well as the furniture, the advantage is that there is a balcony.
Everything is paid in addition even the parking and wifi 28 $
Without forgetting to drink from the staff who bring your luggage to your room.
We give you a 20% reduction coupon on the bill for the hotel restaurants, we chose the fish restaurant not terrible to tell the truth and for the reduction we had barely 10% no comment

Great amenities and lovely grounds including multiple pools that the family enjoyed. However, we only book at hotels and resorts that offer king-size beds, and we were very disappointed with the "king-sized" bed in our room. It seems the company is taking great liberties with what they refer to as a "king". Our bed was, at most, 68" wide, which does not meet standard or california king measurements.

Valet service both upon arrival and departure was slow. No one was available, yet I've seen it much busier with better service than we received tonight. Overheard that boat service is now only available to Mikado, with no return trip? Could be a deal breaker for us. Tonight it was expected as our dinner ran late due to an error on out check, causing us to get out to the dock after 9 pm and boat service closes at 9 pm.

Hotel Staff caught breaking into rooms. And when asked what the front desk will do they offered a free bottle of wine. Sounds like it happens quite often. Seems like they have a system in line. Also after using a credit card for the room we have noticed fraud. Beware if you are planning on staying at this hotel. Make sure to deadbolt the room and cancel any credit cards used.

Outstanding resort! We came for our 37th Anniversary and had a wonderful time!

This is one of the best Marriott properties I've ever stayed at (and I've stayed at hundreds)! Not only beautiful and well maintained but the staff was exceptional. Beautiful grounds, so many pools!

We got the chance to eat at two of their restaurants, plus Starbucks. The Fisherman's Wharf was our favorite.

Also, they fulfilled our request for a feather-free room, without a "do-over" (something that seems difficult at many properties).

The hotel is in a nice location and it has some nice pools and outdoor areas, the rooms are a little dated yet acceptable. The food is a 2 out of 5 in general and the price is well above what it should be. The best meal I had there was tepanyaki and the steak was great yet entree was average.

One of the craziest hotels in the California desert! You are greeted by flamingos (real ones!). Built around a sort of canal, you will take a boat to go to dinner. Never seen in the middle of the desert! Nice room, nice pools, friendly staff. Go there out of season (not during the Coachella festival ...) it's better!

Drilling noise 2pm and 8am in the morning, no hot water in middle of the day, they give us $100 credit for inconvenience, that doesn't cover the construction noise on a Sunday morning. Shame !!!!

This resort makes you glad you are an owner of a time share! DS VILLAS 1 was perfect for my wife and I and our daughter's family. I think we swam in all of the resort's pools! Lots to do on site for the family, especially the kids. The staff at every level were great.

Can't say it was perfect... But good enough. Restaurants and stores are good, pools are decent (but we're a bit cloudy) and I'd say the downfall are the rooms. Bathroom had eroding tile, shower would change from hot to very hot over. Sat at the pool for 45 mins before getting service. Golf was 69 dollars which wasn't bad, but club rental was 49 dollars so that killed that idea. Paid 6 dollars for 2 of the small .25 cent cartons you had in grade school as we ran out for our daughter. All in all, decent but I do feel they nickel and dime you.

This place is very nice and the resort is huge. The rooms are very large and appointed well however I think the showers need a bit of an update. This Marriott has their new system where you can watch Netflix with your own account from the TV. The resort fee was 35/day, but I felt this included more than the typical resort fees and well worth it. Bridgette at the elite check-in desk was absolutely fantastic during our stay! I wish we could have stayed an extra day or two, as there is a lot to do here.

This is a gorgeous hotel with many great amenities including golf, boat rides, and amazing restaurants. The views are spectacular. One of my favorite things about the resort was the free boat ride, and I recommend taking it. We saw several black swans all going around the lake. We did the boat right at sunset and the views are spectacular and it was one of the prettiest sunsets I ve ever seen with the sunsetting between the palm trees and behind the hills.

Gorgeous place. Clean. Lots of issues with my room that could have been avoided if cleaning personnel were alert.

Someone disconnected my TV. Blow dryer broken. Shower knob broken. Alarm clock woke me up at wee hour (was set by previous guest). All of these are small things (except the rude awakening) but when they happen on the same stay it's irritating.

Course is great but this place is here to separate you from your money as quickly as possible. Twilight rate of 79 and the pace of play was really awful. The group in front of us had the drink cart parked in the fair way for 15 minutes and had no need to be courteous enough to speed it up.

We went and celebrated my significant others birthday at the Mikado restaurant. Our waiter was superb! He was very attentive to all of the guests in our party. One the chef came to the table we were all pleasantly surprised. He had a great sense of humor and had us laughing all night. I would return to Mikados again. The quality of food is worth the price. One of the best meals I have had in the desert in a long time!

The hotel claimed to be luxurious and high-end but unfortunately failed to live up to it. The place itself was aesthetically appealing , however service was below average. Every time we asked for something, we would wait for at least an hour to receive the serve we wanted. Furthermore, we found a cockroach in our couch and when we complained about it, the engineer took so long to get there and by the time they went and checked the cockroach must have gotten away, and they said they couldn t do anything about it as they couldn t find the cockroach. Luckily, it was our last night there & we just sucked it up and dealt with the uneasy feeling we got knowing that there might be a cockroach or other bugs within the vicinity.
