Excellent gym and spa services. About ten treadmills, several ellipticals, a few stationary bikes, free weights, weight machines, and yoga facilities. The spa is amazing with three steam rooms, a hot tub, and a lap pool

Located nearby a number of useful shopping centers. Easy to get car in/out. Great lobby bar. The pool is nice, but be ready for a weird mix of a lot of children and a lot of bachelor/bachelorette parties (AKA frat obnoxiousness). Pool bar closed at 4 on Friday.

The hotel has about everything you need of you aren't interested in leaving. Large mini golf place (really just a multi hole putting green).

Rooms do the job but are definitely aged. The shower is smaller than most closets. Balconies are nice with a great view. Bed soft. House keeping comes between 8 and 4 which is worse than a cable company. By 3 ours still hadn't come (AKA no fresh towels to wash off the pool chlorine).

Large, family-friendly and well-kept hotel with three good restaurants and a nice pool area. The service was just as good. We had a suite overlooking the pool area, golf course and lake. We recommend. We were very satisfied and recommend it.

Friendly staff, currently under renovation and the bed was old and stiff, plus the decor was ancient like out of the 70's. I thought the attractions were neat. Great views of the mountains. Pools were nice but could of had more kid friendly activities.

My complaint is specifically regarding my Mercedes which was damaged while left in the care of the valet team, and my interaction with Mike Highland who is the Customer Service Coordinator of Towne Park, the manager of the valet service at this hotel. I'd like to point out in advance that the fee to valet your car at this Marriott is $37 per-day, which is very high but not the basis for my complaint. In all I paid $148 plus tips to leave my car parked for 4 days.

I checked in my car on the Thursday I arrived. That Friday when I checked out my car to run to the local Target, at that time my car was completely functional. I'd like to note that when my car was pulled around and delivered to me on Friday, the car window was rolled up. This point will be more important later in the story.

When returning my car on Friday night, I was able to open my door functionally. I had the windows down up, because I was driving in the evening and I had the a/c on. When I was greeted by the valet attendant, I was asked if I'd like to keep my car close by in case I needed access to it the next morning. I told them this would not be necessary because I would not use the car again until I was returning home.

Fast forward to Sunday morning when I requested my car be brought to me so I could leave with my wife and daughter who met me at my conference to enjoy the pool.

When my car was brought around, the valet attendant had the driver side window down, and opened my car door from the outside of the car, which struck me as odd. After loading my vehicle I sat in the driver's seat and notice the handle to the inside of the door was flimsy and pushed completely open, as of someone had ripped it right from the door. I attempted to close the door and open it from the inside using the clearly broken handle. To the surprise of no one, I was not able to open the door to my car from sitting inside the driver's seat.

I immediately went to the window to let them know, and the manager on duty let me know that they were sorry and that I'd have to file a formal complaint/claim, and someone would reach out to me.

Now, I was very upset, but it was not that person's fault my car was broken. They were just going through the process and getting me on my way. I assumed that I would handle it with the hotel/claim company when they contacted me in 3 to 5 business days as I was informed.

Roughly 3 hours later, Mike Highland contacted me. I was actually pleasantly surprised because I assumed they were handling my claim quickly or at least calling to apologize for my trip ending on a such a down note. However, this was not Mike's intention.

Mike was quick to let me know how busy he was "meetings all day" he said. However, he had time to "speak with every driver who was in my car and gather a record of every single time my car was moved" and it was then that he let me know that "every driver who moved the car from Friday to Sunday reported being unable to open the car door" and that it was simply "that way when they accessed the vehicle" - to make a long story short, it's was not their fault.

Now, I let him know that when my car was brought to me Sunday, my window was down and that was when I was first surprised. His exact words were "we always leave the windows down" which I know is untrue because my car had the windows left up on Friday when my vehicle was brought to me.

I let Mike know that I'd like to see a copy of the reports that he had collected and he said to me "I can go ahead and file this claim on your behalf but I can tell you most likely it will get denied because it's a mechanical issue and not something we can really prevent, it's not like one of our drivers drove and crashed your car." He then said by giving my car to them "I agreed to these terms" so there was "nothing" I could do to dispute it.

The fact that a brand a respected as the Marriott entrusts their guests personal property to guys like Mike is incredibly disappointing. As an owner and as a human being, I expected a lot more respect from Mike Highland.

Place was nice for what was available. Great scenery of the desert from balcony. Almost everything except for the pools, golf course and a couple of restaurants were closed.

I would give 5 stars, but the room we were in was dusty upon arrival and there were cobwebs and spiders on our balcony and patio furniture. When i went down to the front desk and politely requested for someone to clean it, because i am deathly afraid of spiders, the male concierge told us it would get cleaned right away. However, when we returned the webs and spiders were still there. A little disappointed by that. But overall a great stay!

A beautiful property located in Palm Desert, surrounded by beautiful golf courses, lakes and mountain ranges. The property has electric boats to take you on a little spin around the lakes or to shuttle you to one of their 4 restaurants. The property has something for everyone, with several lounges besides the restaurants, Starbucks, a night club, a spa, workout room, shopping plaza, golf course, extensive putt putt range. There are full conference facilities as well. The waterfowl on property are a nature lovers dream, mute swans, black swans, macaws, and Chilean flamingos along with the wild birds that I've noticed: Canadian geese, mallard ducks and coots. This has been an enjoyable stay in a true Oasis in the desert!

Good place to spend the weekend. Three swimming pools, tennis and golf. It's the biggest hotel I've seen. You can get on a boat that takes you to tour various parts of the hotel from the lobby, all this in the middle of the desert.

Beautiful place, helpful staff and amazing food. I love going to this Marriott, a true escape. My husband still has yet to golf here but all the people we talk to love the golf course. The shops and spa are the best!

This place is definitely on the average to low end of spectrum. I don't know, it just seems like a really cheap overly regulated place. For example, they charge to use their computers in the "business office" or they charge you for basic amenities that you would get for free at other 5 star resorts. I'm blessed to stay at 5 star hotels regularly and this is my 3rd and possibly last time coming here.

Very big property which includes at least an 18 hole, possibly 27 hole, golf course. Many rooms at various rates and amenities as well as villas and separate private entrance section. Spa, nightclub, top sushi restaurant for the area and beautiful views at every glance. I just went to the jacuzzi during my visit at what might be the best Resort pool in the desert with one very large heated pool a accompanied by 2 smaller lap pools and adjacent from 3 large perfectly hot bone shaped Hot tubs, jets superb. And don't forget to take a boat ride after you grab a Starbucks from the lobby.

Not the best experience. It looks impressive, but the customer service was not great the weekend we were there. Felt like we couldn't ask.for things, and the room was pretty average and not so well kept for the price.

JW Marriott was an exquisite experience. I am too used to the Vegas experience of jam packed pools and outrageously expensive drinks but the day club at Palm Springs was a pleasant change. 3LAU showed up as expected and $50 easily covered drinks for the whole day for my girlfriend and I as opposed to being just 1 drink in Vegas. Is highly recommend this again for a chill crowd and overall kick back experience.

Very nice luxury hotel located on the Golf Course, a quality of service renowned indisputable little care. The restaurants and Spa follow this beautiful place that aspires to comfort and confidence. A large water area enters the hotel to refresh the place during the hot season. Nothing has been forgotten for comfort

While room service is pricy, the food was delicious. The view, atmosphere and staff really make you feel not only welcomed, well attended to and like you're in another place. I look forward to future events held here

Always a wonderful place to come whether staying for a few nights or just coming in to have dinner and drinks to celebrate a special occasion.
Beautiful property, great service and fantastic food and drinks

Beautiful resort located in the desert. The grounds are beautifully maintained with pools and decor that light up throughout the night during the cooler hours to accommodate walks or swimming. The service is friendly and prompt. I can't think of any missing amenities from the pools, golf course, tennis court or boat dock on the inside of the hotel lobby. The rooms have been upgrade to include state-of-the-art appliances and free amenities. Even though I am not a huge fan of weather over 100 degrees at night, I look forward to each time I can stay at the hotel.

Everything was fine until i went to check out. Iw as told that i could not check out because the system was updating and that my bill would be emailed to me. The clerk was rather unhelpful when i explained that I needed to see the record to ensure the bill had been split correctly between my roommate and me. Because I was was on business i needed a copy so that i can be reimbursed. I am still waiting for an accurate bill. Phone calls and repeated entreaties have fallen on deaf ears. The lack of responsiveness of the staff makes it very clear that they do not care about their customers. Stay elsewhere.
