Amazing resort & service. And great views from our room.
Great resort! The villas are fun for families. Lots of activities - tennis, bocce, croquet, pools.
Wonderful resort with a bueatful scenery that you can relax well.
Beautiful resort. Lots of amenties. Everything that you could want. I loved it here.
This was the scene for our last girl's day, and it was fantastic! From the food and customer service to the views and relaxing atmosphere, everything was stellar. We will return soon.
Fantastic resort, beautiful landscaping. I would go back in a heart beat. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, drinks are a little pricey, but hey: It's Palm Springs.
Terrible music by pool. They play it way too loud. Not a family atmosphere. Don t go. Overpriced pol for the experience.
very nice resort. we were here for a convention, in the evening the front desk was super busy but they only had one person working. the rooms and grounds are fantastic.
Stayed for a conference. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food is good. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Would recommend.
Chef Scott Guo who hosted us for the Valentine Day dinner at the Japanese restaurant was really amazing and accommodating. He made the experience at JW a memorable one for us. The property itself was beautiful as well. You also have Netflix in the room which is a big plus.
Costas night club is a fun, non crowded night club with expensive drinks. jk theyre normal. I had fun.
The restaurants within the hotel serve food and drink of incredible quality. Every single person on hotel staff, from front desk to maintenance, from servers to management have smiles and help to offer.
The grounds are simply gorgeous. With three swimming pools and a lagoon around the entire resort it is family friendly but, has a club and bars on campus to offer fun throughout the day and, after taking in the idyllic sunset, into the evening.
Nice conference center, several pools, golf course, rooms range from normal to nice ..much of the wing of the hotel I was in was being remodeled.
Rooms are pretty nice. Foods good but expensive. Nice pools and shops. Golf course is pretty good as well.
Very beautiful resort. Some areas currently under renovation but still clean and well kept. Would recommend visiting for drinks or hanging out. They also have boat rides in the evening.
First time for us on the Palm course but it was a long day. It looks so serene in the pictures but there was continual road noise and racket from the waterfalls and landscape equipment. Hopefully the adjacent Valley course will prove to be more enjoyable.
Excellent customer service, very nice hotel. Highly recommended!!
Nice lay-out course and good summer special price but green was rough and so slow I could not enjoy my game.
The pool area was out of control. People were grabbing more towels than they should and the staff was not monitoring it. By the time we came there were no clean towels and most of the benches were left empty, and again no staff was on sight to remove the used towels. Then when we grabbed some clean towels from another pool area, we were chased down by an employee who thought we were stealing them. I wish he would have replaced the towels at that speed instead.
They played their own music loudly and the base was ruining the relaxation for us. It would have been better to have no music or low volume chill lounge type of genre.
The bar area in the pool was closed early evening and most restaurants were not open for breakfast. There was only one breakfast place and the coffee was $5.00. It was either that or Starbucks inside the resort.
The structure inside is outdated and needs work. Some floor areas looked so overused that even if they are clean it would still look old.
We asked that they don't place us next to ice machine and we were placed exactly by the ice machine.
This place is AWESOME, very hands on, when you're here it really feels like you don't have a care in the world.
Golfing in Paradise, with a Capital "P", perfect staff and the course is the best in the Coachella Valley!
Always wonderful! Great, friendly and professional staff!
Fabulous place. Great food, Outstanding service...we were treated like royalty. Will definitely go back again!
Really nice resort. Pool water is a bit cool for my taste but its not too bad. Drinks at pool bar are expensive as 2 drinks with tip with set you back $40. However they do not skimp on the alcohol and after 2 you are feeling good.
Exotic birds in the lobby and boat rides in the lobby.
Chocolate Mouse cake plated beautifully. Melt in your mouth delicious!!
The service was incredible, it's rated a 4 star but its 5 star service & amenities.
There for dinner.Food was good, service was good. What you eould expect from JW Marriott
For being a Marriott, the renovated room we stayed in was ok. The fit and finish was to me, not up to the Marriott standards that you would expect for a $150+ a night room. The availability of the variety of restaurants is impressive and the gondola ride is a nice change of pace.
Beautiful resort, friendly staff, remember to pack correctly for the season you visit!
We played the Valley course, it's a nice 72 par course.
It is palm desert so ya want to start early to avoid the heat.
I had an excellent time. Relaxing great accomodations. Loved the aquafit session. The boat ride was free and had a second one for that price. The beds are comfortable and want to take it home. Stayed for three nights and didn't want to leave. The pool and jacusy are built for relaxation. Definitely a place to get away from the husle and busle. If you play golf the course looked good and lots of gentleman used it. Go and have some fun.
My wife and I went here for drinks on a Sunday. The resort was beautiful. The staff was friendly. We will be coming back here for our anniversary.
The staff is very professional, courteous, hotel is clean and the food is excellent
Luxurious ball room, had a fun time, very spacious.
Really great spa and pool. The spa restaurant is good but could use a revamp but the sushi rolls there are on point!
Every time I go to Palm Springs, I do my best to visit the Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa and enjoy a ride on one of their Lobby boats. This time was exceptional. My sister friends and I were treated to the best Lobby boat experience by captain Bryan. He played 60's music in the background and tooted the horn every time we shared a group laugh. He pointed out the Australian black swans and Texas geese. He even took us for a second ride around the lake, since no other riders were waiting at the time. Beautiful, relaxing, wonderful!!!
I am an Ambassador Elite and this is most probably the most underwhelming room I have ever stayed in. They said it was a suite but then I had a Murphy bed!! Dirty carpets as well!! The lady at the concierge was also not helpful.
A wonderful hotel I recommend you go with your family
Nice hotel but needs some renovations done (it is in the middle of it now)
Don t forget a flock of pink flamingos right at the front lake
Great resort! Very friendly staff. They are renovating rooms now and should be done by end of 2019. The rooms definitely need a refresh.
Attended the West Coast Produce Expo, the venue was amazing! Great food, wonderful accommodations, the staf were helpful and pleasant.
Had an awesome time. Very clean place. Has a starbucks inside. Room service available and a few places to eat, like a bar and grill and sushi. Shout out to Bri the valet she was so helpful and thank you for helping my wife...your awesome.
Had a great time. We spent most of the time at the pool.
Recently enjoyed a great dinner at Mikado. Excellent food and hospitality.
Beautiful grounds, great golfing and exception staff. A grand resort in a classic Oasis playground.
Very beautiful surroundings. And a free boat ride on their man made lake also there are flamingos.
A huge resort with lots of shopping restaurants pools, a golf course and even a mini golf course.
Nice venue, great pool, excellent service. Felt like an production line at times people in people out with the accompanying worn look.
We find a worm on the crab legs at lunch buffet but the manger got rid of the evidence and just said "it's never happened before, it's not worm". It's upsetting the manager didn't bother coming to talk to us but the server delivered the message. We felt like they were accusing us the whole time like we made it up but we had the worm right there. Not the kind of service you would expect for JW Marriott.
Beautiful lobby, well maintained pool area. My wife and I enjoyed dinner and drinks at the bar. Good times.
Played the course and the greens were really slow and just airiated. The staff was very helpful and chatty.
Saw two v large cockroaches on the hall way twice during a long week end stay. We used to come yearly. Excellent golf grounds, and very good breakfast . The tennis coach was superb.Too bad the room was not made when we rerurned at night. Worse, the front desk gentleman at 11:30 pm did not even acknowledge there was a problem , simply said , like a bargaining threat , as it was late in the evening, he could only offer a few towels, or nothing, take it, or not? Not even an apology offered. Not a word from the management so far. Nice work JW M! Need to clean up the cockroaches in the hall way and the night front desk.
No late check out. They expect you to be out at 10:00 am. Front desk woman was incredibly rude when I asked for a late check out.
Nice but very old hotel, WiFi costs $ 13 per day, beautiful grounds
It was very good experience, we are planning to come back here!
Spent Christmas day here's ...elegant...friendly...beautiful...service beyond expectations.....unbelievable food....oh.....and great golf
Fairly clean room, friendly staff but completely useless shuttle service between the Jasmine Court building and main campus. Ended up waiting for the shuttle on 2 separate occasions and on both we were promised wait times of 5 minutes only to give up waiting for it 15 minutes later. The walk time was also advertised at 5 minutes but it's 1.7 miles and my fastest mile is 6.30 :-) with kids it took us 35 minutes... We'll not return here.
This is our 2nd time for brunch. Plenty to eat, food is fantastic. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Can't wait to go back.
When I want to be pampered, this is where I come. From the moment I walk into the resort, it feels like coming home--in a good way without cleaning up after yourself :)
