Our first and currently only child was born at Jupiter Medical Center and we completely enjoyed the entire experience! We will definitely be going back when we are ready to have another baby! The facility was clean, we felt safe, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Overall everything was perfect - even the food was good!

Care quality was great! 5 Stars! My son had an emergency appendectomy. However my car was in Valet Parking 9am-1130am and had multiple items stolen from it! They took, glasses, dual usb charger, a lexus mirror (hard to explain) and even my pump hand sanitizer. Not sure if valet guys did it OR some random person in the "not" secured lot. Tried Security and no one picked up. (1215pm)

I ll never go back to this hospital again. The anesthesiology staff is horrific. Rude obnoxious they don t care about you AT ALL.
Professional is a word that DOES NOT APPLY to them. My dog gets treated better at the Vet than people do at this hospital. It s all about them not you. STATY AWAY !!!!! I ve never been treated so poorly in my life.

I absolutely love this hospital. This was the 3rd child I have given birth to at Jupiter Medical Center. The nurses, doctors, and staff are truly exceptional. They made me feel like they genuinely cared about me & I felt 100% safe, confident, and comfortable in their care. I would 1000% recommend this hospital!

I was charged for treatments not received, which I never could get corrected since it was my word against theirs. Their aggressive billing department will try to get their money while you're still loopy and staggering around on painkillers, and their extraordinarily high prices relative to local norms make this hospital one to skip if you're so lucky to have the choice.

From the moment we entered the ER to being admitted it has been an incredible experience. The ENTIRE staff at Jupiter Medical Center has been extremely professional, thorough, detailed and on point when it comes to my mother. Everything is so organized and on time. The communication between departments is impeccable. As I thank everyone who has tended to my mother, which is many, I would like to give an extra special thanks to Dr. Ghazal (internal medicine), Dr. De Olazabal (Pulmonologist), Dr. Tennyson (radiology oncology), Dr.Tolnai (oncology) and all the amazing nurses on the oncology floor especially Sharon and Amanda you have all given my mom and our family hope! Your treatment and care have exceeded our expectations during this difficult time. We highly recommend Jupiter Medical Center from our own personal experience. Thanks again.

Horrible experience in the ER with my adult son 20...

Horrible experience in the ER with my adult son 20 after a horrific car accident. Rude ER doc and nurse will never go back unless I'm unconscious. They should be ashamed of themselves the way they treated both my son and I. AND there was not one person in the waiting room. my son's left had and arm was injured cut down to the bone from the airbag and I was telling the doc that he just had Tommy John surgery and before I could ask him to check his other arm and he looks at me and says "congratulations". Who says that to a mom.

Then the nurse told us to leave and I ask to wait for my son (having an xray, she said "do I need to call sercurity?" No mind you I'm dressed professional, as at work but I am overweight. I guess they feel they don't need to be respectful to anyone. Maybe if I was a drug dealer I would have gotten more kindness. Guess we interrupted their card game!

This is the worst ER department EVER. They do not care about their patients and when a complaint is filed they blame the patient instead of stepping up to the plate to address their staff.

I would not recommend going there, seek medical assistance elsewhere.

I've been before at JMC because of a leg infection, two years ago, (ER), twice yearly, for endoscopy procedures, and, I was there today , to have my blood drawn for a blood test.
I did'nt need to park; free valet parking. Comfortable waiting room with exceptional courtesy. Well organized and quick and efficient registration, a very skilled blood drawing tech, and snacks, bananas and bottled water, all free, to calm my pre test starvation.
WOW!.
I did not arrived in a Bentley, or Masserati or Mercedes, ( many patients do). But I felt like!...
Kudos to JMC.

I am a professional with 10 years of experience in the most critical units with a master's level. I believe that this hospital abuses the professionals in the nursing and does not respect the profession and discriminates us in every way and I do not think that it interests much the health from the patients. This is the worst place where I have worked.

Our doctor is awesome he moved down here from Virginia and we came down here to work with him. The staff in the radiology department are awful was untruthful with me and told my wife something that I heard and then I called and she told me that she informed my wife of the same thing. Not the case at all!

Kept putting me on hold! We were advised by the doctor that there was a possible stroke risk with my wife and that there could be clotting around the stent. You would think they would have some level of understanding as to our concern clearly not!!!!! With my wifes condition we have dealt with multiple hospitals and they were all great, NOT THIS ONE!!!! Pretty sure they forgot the importance of a patient!!!!!!

If you have to be in the hospital, and no one wants to be, this is the place to be. They nurses and staff take wonderful care of you...even the ladies who clean your room are nice. I am glad to have this hospital near me. I have always received great care there. Sometimes the ER is really jammed packed, but so much of that is because people abuse it and use it as a doctor's office. The staff cannot help that and they do the best they can to help you...

The ER staff today has been absolutely AWFUL!!!! I have never seen so many rude employees at this hospital. Straight ignoring an elderly lady who had been begging for someone to call her son and they kept telling her he needs to be patient!! Excuse me!! We called her son for her. Just awful.

I took my 8yr old nephew to the ER on Saturday night around 2am. They were not busy and had me in a room almost immediately. The nurses were fantastic with communicating with my nephew. The only reason I'm giving a 3 is because I could hear the ER physician speaking about my nephew and poking fun. I was recently at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and received outstanding treatment and I regret not taking him there.

One of the worse experiences of my life. Had to wait 6 hours outside in waiting area for ER with IV bag hooked up tome. Then after late at night when thought I was heading home they admitted me into hospital for two days. Had to beg to let me go home. After that my insurance Blue Cross refused to pay for the hospital stay stating it was unnecessary. Hospital stated they were not sure what was going on. While I have a denial of service. Stay away go to another hospital

I was admitted to JMC recently after going to the ER for heart failure. I was treated with kindness and respect. The staff in the heart monitoring floor is exceptional. (Even the gal who brought the food tray was helpful to my needs - in fact, the gal who I ordered meals with on the phone actually helped described dishes and suggested items that would not make me feel deprived of comfort food on a low sodium diet!) I am grateful to be in the hands of Dr. Sagar. The cardiac nurses in Cardiac Rehabilitation are trained professionals - (thank you Elena for helping me through a panic attack) I have had some traumatic experiences at hospitals in the past and it was a completely different story at Jupiter Medical Center. Thank you all for helping me learn that hospitals really can be a place of healing.

While the hospital is beautiful and the current staff, for the most part, are wonderful, it is blatantly obvious that the hospital needs more nurses. The nurses there are great. Very attentive and compassionate. They really love their jobs. However, one can tell that the ratio of nurses to patients is unsafe. When I was walking around the floor after surgery, I could tell that the patients far outnumbered the nurses. I ve done some research, and it seems like the patient to nurse ratio (is that the correct terminology?) is too high. Maybe instead of all the construction and new building being done, the administration should focus on hiring more nurses so that the current nurses have more help. We all know that it s the nurses that run that place.

The ER is ok. The rest of the facility let s a lot fall through the cracks. They do not return phone calls, do not allow follow ups or even give a referral to a patent that was hospitalized for days. If you go, get all your records on the way out and hope your GP can give you a referral

Let me start by saying the nurses here were amazing. I cannot say the same for the doctors . The doctor that delivered my son was great, however, the next couple of days I didn t even see the doctor face to face. Probably because he insisted on DRUG TESTING ME for some reason, and it came back clean. He was convinced I was some sort of drug addict (maybe because of me and my boyfriends tattoos? Who knows!). I m a good person with a normal life and never want to have another child because of the experience I had here. This is no joke. You can t make this up. I even got off my antidepressants while pregnant because I was concerned it wouldn t be good for the baby, even tho I was told it was fine to take. I DIDNT EVEN TAKE TYLENOL. The nurses kept on apologizing to me for the doctors behavior. They seemed embarrassed asking me to take a drug test. THEN I was told they lost my urine and wanted me to take one AGAIN. I didn t get any sort of apology, or acknowledgment from the doctor because he was wrong. Then when it came time for pain medication, I was afraid to take it because I was feeling constantly judged FOR NO REASON. DO NOT DELIVER YOUR BABY HERE. There are much better hospitals and I regret choosing this one. I wish I could remember the doctors name, but like I said, I NEVER EVEN MET HIM. I m pretty convinced he botched my child s Circumcision as well, so that was really the icing on the cake.

We went to ER with a head injury for my son, instead of seeing a DR, they asked if we have insurance. I provided Blue Cross Blue Shield card then they asked us to sit down, that someone will come. We are fortunate enough to have insurance but i'm disturbed that if someone comes to ER and have no insurance, are they going to deny services? I wish they take care of the people first and take the payment afterwards.

We had the most amazing care with Dr Prince and the entire pediatric department nurses with my three week old grandson.
What a team and true loving caring for our entire family who were scared for our newborn baby! We had no idea what was going on and what we were doing until Dr Prince and her immediate staff got involved!
Can not thank this group enough and Thank the Jupiter Medical Center. Bravo! I give this hospital a 150% rating. Over and above!

Abysmal. This is one of the many words in which I would describe my and others around me experience at Jupiter Medical Center. I went in the ER for Influenza A and Dr. Volkner was beyond unprofessional. Volkner issued me ultimatums for unnecessary testing and was eating snacks on the floor instead of caring for patients such as myself. Once you are all done with every test known to man for basic care and well known symptoms of a virus, they will bill you senseless. Aside from that Dr s lack of empathy we have Lisa Minich and Patricia Callan who are also the gems of unprofessionalism and you will have to visit them personally to get anything taken care of in the billing and customer service department. Attached are close ended apology letters which in summary say Oh we are sorry to hear you had a bad experience give us a try again . AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COSTS! If I could give negative stars I would.

On May 10th 2018 we went to the JMC on Old Dixie Hwy in Jupiter after my two-year-old son hurt his arm. They took x-rays and sent us home. An hour later we got a call from the doctor asking to come back because pictures were not conclusive. After the second visit they found a small fracture. We went to a recommended orthopedic. He reviewed x-rays and comments from the hospital doctor. He concluded that diagnose was incorrect. The fracture was in a different place. DIFFERENT BONE. My son got a nice blue cast and was happy again (priceless).
I will get billed for two separate visits and wrong diagnose. No thank you, JMC.

PS. JMC associates that were helping us during our visit were very helpful and supportive. It was first time when we had a bad experience at JMC.

Dr Maxson himself and his staff and the staff of the GI department in general are absolutely consummate professionals. They are pleasant, attentive and keep a lighthearted air throughout the department (which, let s face it, is a really nice distraction in any hospital setting). I can t say enough positive things about them. They deserve so much praise. Absolutely wonderful people doing absolutely wonderful work. I feel so fortunate to have been under their care on numerous occasions.

I rushed to the ER one night after receiving a call from my mom saying "cant talk headed to ER". The security guard was efficient and fast in getting me a pass and pointing me next to him to the front desk man. He was slow and mopey, looking around in a daze saying he "couldnt remember" his own password to get into the computer. As I stood there wondering if my mother was dead or not he continued to slowing look around saying "hmm I really cant remember what my password is". This was beyond ridiculous in the ER! Hire someone competent because I pray no real emergency happens with that guy on staff. My dad valet parked in his rush of not knowing what was going on and he also had a horrible experience with the same front desk guy. He was extremely rude to my dad who waited almost 10 minutes for the valet guy (who was no where to be found) and asked the front desk guy, he was short and angry towards him. The ER staff needs to understand that there patients are in extreme stress mode and they need to at least pretend to be in a hurry and trying to help.

Extremely disappointed in our experience with the ER front desk staff.
On a positive note, the paramedics and nurses were amazing, helpful and had a great funny attitude that really helped lighten the mood and made a horrible situation much more tolerable.

I had to go to the emergency room yesterday and I was extremely disappointed with Dr. Don Tanabe. I have a rare desease that causes tumors in my pelvic area. I asked Dr. Tanabe to speak to my Doctor for guidance on how to treat me and he said he was too busy. Finally the did blood tests that my doctor requested however they said it would take 2 days to get the results. I begged Dr. Tanabe to see if they could rush the tests and he said it was not possible. I was livid and requested to speak to a supervisor. Miraculously they got the tests and a nurse brought the test results 5 minutes later. Rami Hamzi, the nursing supervisor to whom I complained to was very kind and understanding. However after reading other negative reviews about the ER i felt an obligation to share my experience with others. Their lack of compassion and sense of urgency was beyond anything I have experienced. If you need to go to an emergency room run the other way. I have dealt with my desease for over 10 years so I have been in many emergency rooms. If I could rate this ER I would give it a -20.

My family and I was treated so rude on February 28. My aunt was rushed to the hospital and later pronuced dead. So my family and I rushed up there. I was treated with disrespect. The staff was very racist and rude. We were escorted off the premises while the hospital security and Jupiter police was called on us for no reason. My uncle was having very bad chest pains and also passed out so my brother and I got him a wheel car and rushed him in the hospital. None of the staff would assist us so we rushed him to a room. The staff came in pushed passed us and told us to leave. I've never experienced such lack of concern at an hospital. I'm from Jupiter and I've never encountered such hate. I will inform everyone I know not to go there. I will be sure to file legal actions. I advise people to be mindful of going there especially people of color. Something has to be done about this. After grieving my aunt death and trying to cope with her absence. I will finally follow up and seek legal advice from our attorney. No one should ever be discriminated against especially in a professional setting such as an hospital.

We were searching for answers for why our son was ill. We had been discharged from two other local hospitals when we entered this hospital. From the moment we were taken into the ER, Dr Rhodes and Nurse Brenda treated us as if we were the only ones they had to care for. They matched our concern and were determined to figure out what was going on. Dr Ashberg, a pediatric orthopedist also attended our son in the ER. We were admitted to the pediatric unit where we had the most phenomenal care - Dr Vora, Nurse, Tracie, Gina, Vickie, and Brenda attended, cared for, and took plenty of time with us during our stay to ensure we were comfortable and on the road to health. I can't say enough about this amazing facility. There is no other hospital I'd visit.

Hardly anyone in emergency room and almost an hour and no triage. After being told 15 minutes.

A friend of mine from New York City recently under...

A friend of mine from New York City recently underwent back surgery at this upscale little gem of a hospital, and I accompanied her overnight in one of their concierge rooms. She did extensive research and chose Dr. Robert Biscup (originally from the Cleveland Clinic) to perform the procedure he pioneered which is minimally invasive, yet produced the most amazing results. It was some sort of decompression laminotomy, and within a day of the surgery her drop foot (sustained in NYC 4 months earlier) was already beginning to reverse! She'd been in constant pain for a long time and the MRI of her spine looked like a mess.

He cleaned all the bone spurs out, freeing up the nerves in her spine, without needing to put in metal plates, and she's 2 weeks out and walking great, again. I never write reviews, but this doctor deserves a parade in his honor! Very smart, kind, and willing to take the time to explain things.

Mindy, who runs the concierge services program, made our stay feel more like a hotel visit, than a hospital stay. Our private room was 2 adjoining rooms with separate bathrooms and sleeping/dining/visiting areas. And the nurses were competent and caring. The hospital had an excellent room-service dining menu, and a beautiful garden oasis I frequented.

A big THANK YOU to Dr. Biscup and Jupiter Medical Center!

On October 24, 2014 I underwent a procedure with Dr. Murray Goldberg at Jupiter Medical Center. From the moment I arrived (7AM) though the prep for surgery, the procedure and recovery I give the hospital and staff straight A's They were all highly professional and beyond that expertise they were caring and comforting.. Nurse Cindy was terrific throughout. There was a minor difficulty during my recovery which required a phone call to my cardiologist which she took care of immediately and which added to my comfort level.

Thank you very much.

Although staff was kind, I felt we did not have a good experience in the ER. My daughter was is extreme pain, took over 2 hours to get something administered (which didn't work for her). During this time we would hear uproars of laughter and chatter from staff station, which made us feel like we were being neglected. Twice I walked up to where they could see me to let them know we were waiting for pain meds and needed some attention. The ER did not seem to be busy at all. They wanted to release us to go home and we said we can't leave until we have some relief. Tried something else and basically said they couldn't do anything more. ER station we were in was filthy dirty. Floors unkept, trash can was gross. Although we live in Jupiter, I probably will not be returning to that ER.

First off let me say I love this hospitals labor and delivery ward. I delivered, by choice, both of my childeren there. The recovery nurses were so helpful and wonderful and made my stay soo comfortable and accommodating. BUT there is a but, with my first child on the day we were being discharged the older man who wheeled me out of the hospital, enetered the room and referred to me as a BIG MAMA. Me and my boyfriend were stunned. We looked at each other like is he serious? That was the only problem with my first experience there. Now the second time was just this past January 2019, and again the recovery nurses were amazing so amazing. Everything from getting me water to helping me emotionally and all that. My biggest complaint with the second stay is the night before being discharged 1/6/19, after shift change, CNA Winston (I believe her name was) came in and introduced herself and asked me my sons name, I had given him my fathers Native American name, who passed away two months before I given birth, when I told her his name she found it amusing and apologized to my son for his mother naming him that and asked me why would I give him that name. I told her It was a Native American name and she asked Why would I name him that this America .....ummm what? All the other nurses were so nice about it and were interested in knowing where it came from. I am still giving this place 5 stars because everything else and everybody else was amazing. Will possibly deliver here again but we ll see.

Amazing labor and delivery!! Bring my daughter into this world was an AMAZING experience thanks to the nurses at this hospital. From check in to getting ready to take my little one home as a joy. From
Labor the nurses stayed by my side and helped me though the contractions. When the doctor decided that I had to have a c-section they still where right by my side, super friendly told me stores to keep my mind busy, played my favorite song when she was born and recovery was a breeze with my nurses. She was always there before I know I need anything. I can t say enough about there nurses they are truly a blessing and you can tell they LOVE what they do!

I have only been going there for the last 4 months and it has been an awful experience. Sent the wrong blood work to a lab twice, another doctor did the wrong tests on me (I found out from another doctor) and they do zero follow-ups, you have to be very proactive about calling for results and updates. Today I made arrangements to head to another firm after sitting on hold for 10 minutes.

Wonderful Hospital. I recently gave birth at this hospital, I had an emergency C-section and the doctors and nurses were amazing. My son was also in the NICU for being premature and I can t begin to tell you how incredible the NICU nurses were with him. I m so grateful for all the hard working nurses.

Compared to Palm Beach Gardens, the whole atmosphere is great. People are welcoming, floors at clean, bathrooms are clean, the cafeteria is clean (and has a wide variety of food from salad, chicken tenders, Boar's Head Subs, to handmade food from the grill that the Chefs make made to order) and they have a Greenery (so that you don't have to be staring at walls 24/7).

The Doctors, ICU nurses and the case manager that were assigned to my dad are amazing, but there is 1 female nurse and 2 male Doctors that went too far. Because of those three, this hospital could easily be 5/5 stars, but sadly they ruined it.

This is going to a very 'light" review. Without all the curse words my sister said to the 2 Doctors and Nurse. Keeping names off record from the review.

----

At the time of writing this, my dad was in ICU for a good 40'ish days.

An older lady, that always wears a white coat says to my mom "Someone in your family called us and talked about hospice care." No one that is supposed to be on the list for the hospital to contact talked to them. Friday, Doctor #1 was talked to.

Sunday, Doctor #2 comes in and says; "You should think about giving him morphine." Literally, the only thing hurting him is his butt sores from the other hospital and you want to send him to a place where they're job is to lower your rate and let you die slowly? My sister pulls the Doctor to the side and lets him know the conversation is going to be recorded. She says; "It's fine that you would like to give up on my dad, but he doesn't want to give up and we don't want to give up. If you want to give up than we'll transfer him to another hospital." The Doctor goes on saying, "No no no, we're here for him it was just a miscommunication" and insert more junk. A few days later my dad's vitals are amazing and the Doctor #2 comes in and says, "You're doing great job" and my sister says, "Yeah, you wanted to give up on him." He said a snarky comment and my sister replied, "Really? You wanted to give him morphine" and he just shut up.

What if we weren't there? What if my dad didn't have a POA? They were literally going to give my dad morphine. These Doctors see a person in a bed for 30+ days and think they won't recover so they just give up on them.

No idea how this nurse and these two Doctors got into this field, but yeah, they almost took a healthy man to the grave.

Besides those three people. The rest of the nurses and Doctors have amazing bedside manners.

A few weeks later with help from physical therapy that comes to the house, my dad is walking and eating normally. Who knew that if he didn't fight through this, a Nurse and 2 Doctors could have easily taken his life.

I would be very mindful when using Jupiter Medical. We have just found they have billed our insurance company for procedures that were not done.

This is Fraud. The gal in Billing said and I quote " we can bill 1 million dollars if we want "

Unfair practices in addition to sending me home while not being able to figure out why I blacked out and said to go see a Neurologist.

I will be taking this further as directed by our legal council.

My partner and I have been here twice in the last 2 weeks regarding the same medical issue. The ER staff is rude, dismissive, and invisible, quite honestly. You can t find a staff member anywhere when you need one. The 6-7 hours of waiting is ridiculous and unnecessary. The nurses, PAs, and physicians do not communicate with one another which causes most of these outrageous waits. Last week, they completely forgot my partner was even waiting! We sat there for 6 hours for a damn ultrasound that was never ordered! Now we re waiting for her to be discharged, another day at JMC completely wasted. You re fine diagnosis 6 hours later is ridiculous.

I had minor surgery last week and I m very impressed! The hospital has construction going on but didn t affect the main entrance of finding parking. The staff is amazing from the pre-op staff and front desk, volunteers. I had a very early surgery and from the moment we walked in the extremely happy helpful volunteer greeted us and actually took us to the waiting area. The A/C was blasting and it was a bit chilly for some people but a lovely nurse or volunteer gave warm blankets for anyone patients or guests. I also saw them put out snacks and coffee cups later on for visitors, clean bathrooms. I m sorry not remembering all the staff names from nurses, volunteers, doctors but a huge Thank You. I can honestly say I never experienced a better hospital. I had major back surgery and ER gallbladder surgery years ago at other hospitals the staff didn t even come close to Jupiter Medical Center care. The post-op room staff was also amazing too! When I was ready to change and leave the nurse wheeled my whole bed to bathroom and had wheelchair waiting when I got out. I hope and wish everyone has a great experience especially going through a medical problem

I recently had gallbladder surgery and went to Jupiter Medical Center as an outpatient. My Doctor, Jefferson Vaughan and the entire surgical team met with me before surgery and explained everything to me. They answered all of my questions and made me feel very relaxed.

The pre-op nurse, Danielle was very reassuring and also explained everything to me.

The recovery room nurses were also wonderful. Sarah was watching over me and let me rest as long as I needed to before going home.

My surgery was successful and I am recovering at home. I certainly made the right choice in picking Dr. Vaughan as my surgeon and Jupiter Medical Center for my proceedure.

Thank you all!

I had the worst labor experience in this hospital....

I had the worst labor experience in this hospital. I went in Monday morning with my mucous plug out. They swap me with a test that can give false negative which the nurse informed us that the good time was out stock. Test came out negative they send me home in pain without me ever seeing a doctor. The nurse performed the test swap and check my dilation with no lubrication and she was so insensitive, nurse O Shea. The whole night and next morning I was having major contractions. I went to palms west hospital Tuesday morning it was an entirely different, I saw the doctor immediately and she performed the dilation exam and I was 5 cm dilated. What I went through for 24 hrs was horrific and torture. I will never recommend anyone mother to go to this hospital. I was willing to pay out of network hospital then go back to this hospital. I m pretty sure do have a lot of malpractice.

Had to pick my grandmother up from the ER and she was not 100% coherent. They had 2 people in the ER working and not one of them lifted a finger to get up and help me. So I had to wheel her out with one of their wheelchairs, holding her walker, purse and belongings. While they just sat there and looked at me. To say I wasn t happy is an understatement!!! Also she was in the ER for 5 hours and it was not even busy. It was her and one other patient. 5 hours!!!!!!!! I really don t like Jupiter Medical center- and sadly I used to work there.
