My Mom had a Lawyer there. He decided to take her case against a doctor for medical malpractice. Then he decided he didn't want the case or associates decided and sent us to some other lawyers he thought would. No now no one will take case. Two yrs my mom suffered with a broken foot until jan. 2019 and we had a different doctor and did surgery to help my mom walk again and within 3 months she did but limps and hurts. She was basically made to retire. I'm sorry this is long, I'm just extremely mad at the first doctor.

Hal Dail was recommended by a friend for my divorce case. Hal was completely unprofessional, inconsiderate and incompetent. Because of his actions, I lost my children in my divorce as well as every penny of my savings. When I fired him, he falsified the bill to try to get more money from me. I alerted one of the senior partners, Mike Joynes, and he missed two phone appointments set by his assistant, did not return any of my phone calls and did not hold Hal Dail responsible for his negligent conduct. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone.

Over that time frame, he cared enough to make us feel like we were his only clients- from start to finish Mike and his support staff made it easy for us to deal with the up and down emotions you experience when you have an accident to supporting us through the entire process.

I have NEVER posted a negative review in my life until now. Hopefully, this will prevent others from making the same mistake that I made! My case has been stagnant for four years. I have never received itemized bills/charges, so who knows where all the money I paid went! We went to court and weren t allowed to speak AT ALL because my attorney was immediately shut down because the judge doesn t like him. The judge said my attorney was bombastic . This has been a horrible experience for the past four years, and using this law firm was a HUGE mistake!!! I received a letter that was worded rudely, and I knew then that it was time to seek counsel elsewhere.

Sadly, in these trying times, it has become all too obvious that equal protection only equates to issues of class, and to those of us not born into America s modern aristocracy, justice is only a dream afforded to silver spoon toting urbanites. The piers down at the Narrows...off of 64th/ st. have always been in dis repair. I had my boat in the water, 4 adult friends in it, and a Plank, that Looked nailed down, but was not...imploded when i walked to the boat, i feel in water up to my chest. My back was SLAMMED into the pier, i had to be lifted up by my friends. I called 'the State of Va. they came out and took pics of my severly bruised body, and the pier was fixed the very next day. This Firm, Joynes / Gaides RUINED my suit, they did not even send the Investigator out to interview the wittnesses....no correct filings done in the proper time. I have root nerve impingement, ruptured discs on L4 and L5...My back is RUINED for the rest of my life. This firm did NOTHING to help me, actually i am writing whilst lying down, my back hurts so badly, after all these years....i am ruined. They did NOTHING, and this is why they have such bad ratings. I wish I had NEVER come to them, the way my situation was handled, i have to wonder.....why...they just did NOTHING, then my statute...expired, and here I am. NEVER would I recommend this firm. Never. There should be a MINUS ONE STAR.

I was a bit panicky when I received my first speeding ticket in 20+ years while driving a rental car. I didn t intend to be pushing almost 20mph over the limit.... that s pretty expensive in Virginia not to mention the points and insurance increase etc... Mr Joynes was so helpful calming me down and instructed me to take an online defensive driving course before court. He was able to get my ticket reduced to the minimum charge! I m so grateful I won t have points and insurance increase haunting me for years. THANK YOU!!!
