great view though upper deck is very steep very modern and way better then sleep train arena
The strictest arena in America. I've been to dozens across the US and this takes the cake.
I couldn't take a backpack in (coming from work) even though many large purses made it. Furthermore, they didn't provide any locker options, so I had to find a nearby gym to store it for the day. Super frustrating.
Secondly, I couldn't bring in an EMPTY plastic water bottle. By doing this they encourage buying another one inside, creating more waste. Really disappointing there.
Lastly, re entry was not allowed during the NCAA Tournament. This is a 7 hour session and they kept you indoors for the full thing.
Shame on this arena and shame on Sacramento for letting these rules stand. 1 star, if any.
Came all the way from Seattle to watch the Kings vs Cavs. Arena overall was fantastic. A lot of variety of food which was greeeeeeat.
I Love our new arena, and its only gonna get better.
New close to everything Beautiful place great for concerts.
First time at the Golden One Center, visiting from Oregon. Attended the Bob Seger concert and had a BLAST!! GREAT VENUE!!
Very nice facility, bright, showy, and active. Drinks expensive but strong. Nice atmosphere.
Stay away from the 2nd Section and you should be fine, otherwise bring tissue for a nosebleed.
Attended my cousin's graduation overhere few weeks back. It was a different experience plus the crowd was crazy! The only thing I didn't like is that they dont a proper exits open so people could leave. Consequently, you'll get stuffed between people!
It's an amazing arena. Comfortable seats. Lots of different food and drink options. I had a great time.
It was okay, businesses should be open seven days a week though
Went for a concert...set up pretty well. Was on the floor, could see the stage perfectly and entering and exiting was a breeze!
Way too expensive, show a great, the rest um - not so.
Awesome venue, not a bad seat in the place, great food options, beers are pricey though at $13
Very nice. Had a nice time watching the Professional Bull Riders.
I went to the Kings basketball game and loved it !
I was there for a private event, very impressive in comparison to the past arena.
The new arena is very luxurious..but..even though there's an awesome selection of different fare to eat, and its very artsy inside..the food is expensive..and the upper section is very steep and dangerous!! I almost fell while volunteering last night at a concert..I'll take this into consideration when buying tickets to events here in the future
Are you kidding??? The world's best entertainment stadium!!
Lol I work here game time fun time. The best experience fun you can have in basketball arena in the world is G1C/SKs. Try to visit if you have not yet hurry!!
Too many people smoking pot and vaping during concerts and security does nothing about it. Stinks!!! Sound quality is good though...but seating in upper balcony is terrible. Cramped ...and so far away bands look like ants. General admission much better at almost any other venue.
Great venue, would get 5 stars if it wasn't for the cramped seats! If you're 6' tall store about being comfortable because your knees are hitting the backs of whoever sits in front of you.
State of the art facility. I've been to fit concerts there so far and it never disappoints. I'm so glad it's here!!!
Great venue for concerts. Seats were very comfortable. The hike up to the top was tough with a cane. But this was our 1st time and we just didn't know. Had a great time.
Golden One is a bit smaller than the other arena in town, which made the view of the stage great from ant seat.
Great place for concerts. Lower level better than upper levels
Love the facelift given to the Capitol Mall and what a beautiful new arena for the Kings! Now there is a bustling feeling to the district with interactive programming through out. It took a second to orient until I realized where the Hard Rock used to be, and once I had, I was blown away. Wow!
A good portion of the event was blocked from our view from our seats. Very poor design in my opinion. Also, some of their rules are downright ridiculous. We were not allowed to take our Kindles into the event which meant I missed the first 20-30 minutes because I had to walk all the way back to where we'd parked. Then they didn't like the way we were carrying our children (on our shoulders) and made us stop. I'm not planning to ever return for any events.
Drinks and food at concerts are way too expensive! The seating is too steep and difficult to get to. Also it is uncomfortable.
Took my 80 year old mother and 13 year old daughter the elevators we're a blessing for ny mother as we were on floor 113, the chairs and room however we're a bit tight & no cup holders, everything else was great, sac parking is a must very close dining to the Golden 1 center. Disney on Ice was adorable. Staff very kind a d helpful
Awesome place to watch a basketball game. Try any of the non "standard" fare (hotdogs, burgers).
Went here to watch the kings game against the hawks. The crowd was amazing and so was the food. The kings also blown the hawks out by 40!
Very clean vicinity, lots of different stores and good food to choose from. The arena itself is even cleaner, from the restrooms to the seating area. Would love to come back just to watch some Kings games.
Beautiful venue with really good food and close by so many other amenities
This arena is gorgeous and the acoustics are amazing. I went for a certain concert here though and they wouldn't sell bottled sodas with lids... Just a weird observation.
I attended Sacramento State University's 2017 graduation; and this was my first time being here.
Its very big, clean, well lighted and the chairs are very comfortable!
Now that I've been here I will definitely come back for a Kings game.
Beautiful place! Excellent staff! Yummy food, kinda pricey but good. We saw The Harlem Globetrotters. My daughter had a great time, very entertaining for all of us.
Very beautiful but seating is so very tight. Unless you have a end seat it can be very difficult to get to a inside seat
I got to every kings game being a season ticket holder..just be careful where you park on the street.. a lot of the meters have changed and I got a parking ticket from the Cavs game

Monday night raw was awesome!! WWE put on a great show. My son and I had a great time. My problem is with the how tight the seating is. We were constantly distracted from the show by having to get up to let someone in or out. While getting up I'm sure we were also blocking the view of people behind us. The same happened to us with the row in front of us. This will be a major consideration before I see any future shows at the golden one center.
Went to the J cole concert recently. And I must say it was alot easier getting in and out of the stadium than I expected. I think they did an all around good job with the new stadium and I will definitely be attending venues and games there in the future!
First visit to the center for the Bocelli concert in section 212. Wonderful music but Way too steep! Saw an elder lady fall head over heels down two rows. She ended up on the floor before going over the last glass barrier. One young man next to me had to leave before the concert started because he couldn t get comfortable with the height. It was making him sick. Lots of elderly folks and the steepness made them very unsteady- felt bad for them. That top section should be dubbed Sacramento s G1 peak. We joked you need a portable O2 tank in that top section. And why no leg room?! High school gyms build in the 50s have more. All three screens had speakers blocking them when you are in that top section. Never had a clear view at any time! Save your money and see a favorite concert elsewhere or save for the floor setting.
Nice layout. Great view from anywhere. Will go again.
Awesome place to hang out, even if you are not going to watch a game.
Concert was fun but concessions we're outrageously expensive.
No visible signs to the venue.
Very little handicap parking.
Took the grandkids to see disney on ice here. Easy parking in and out. Great place to atch a kings game also..
Very good shows The only bad thing is that the seats are very close
A really intimate arena for the NBA. Great to have the arena downtown now as well.
Went to both a concert and a game. Although nice during the concert, it was much more open during the game. Very modern and excited to see the surrounding area develop.
second best nba arena next to brooklyn nets barclay center. cant wait to go back for more games
