Great watching Kings game. Lots of food and beer options.
Great venue.
Most expensive drinks ever. Been to every concert venue around
Parking is a short walk
Great arena though
Nice new arena in the center of town. Hotels nearby.
Sound system is so much better than Arco and the help was very friendly.
Amazing venue for concerts with sound and their lights. I like the access to your seat and to the vendors.
Kings games there are legit. Amazing outdoor area just redone
Went there for the Maxwell, Common, Ledisi concert and the instruments overpowered the singing. I have never been to a venue with such poor arrangements. Several people in my seating area also made the same comment. I will not be returning.
We were here to see Twenty One Pilots (outstanding concert). The Golden 1 Center has a few perks to recommend it. It is easy to get to, there's ample parking options, and it was pretty clean (even in the restrooms). The main reason for docking a star are the very cramped seats. We were in the front row and there wasn't much leg room at all. I'm 5'2" and my knees were hitting the barrier. My 6' husband was miserable and extremely uncomfortable. Also, if you have food allergies, definitely eat before you go, as there are few (if any) options. Actually, you're better off eating before hand, allergies or no, because the prices are ridiculous. Definitely not the best concert venue I've been to, but not the worst either.
First Kings game in the new arena...great experience...had access to a suite and 2 courtside seats...gonna be hard to top that...very nice staff all around...great job Kings...only wish you would've won...next time...
First time there. Its ok. Found a cheap parking garage nearby four blocks over
Nothing special about the venue other than its new and centered in Sacramento. The Arco Arena still gets my vote. They should of stayed there! Better parking, more spacious seating and less traffic congestion
Decent sized arena. Even in nosebleed sections still a good view
Nice venue with lots of parking and nice to be downtown.
great warriors game! good location. easy parking. will be coming back
Bathrooms are decent and they offer any-gender bathrooms. Food is horribly expensive though; it's good food and service, but not for the price, and you can't bring outside food or drink in because they search your bags. Seats are crowded too close together, so your knees are always touching the seat in front of you. Plenty of seating though, and big screen TVs to catch all the action on the court, even in the lobbies.
Food and drink are pricey but the over all fun to be had is great. If you want to save money eat before you go and buy a drink which will run you 5 to 15 bucks each
First time there!! We went for the MonsterJam event. My experience was fabulous the V.I.P was enjoyable they provided popcorn and drinks. The service was outstanding. I will definitely be back again! #golden1center #sacramento
Extremely nice venue. concession prices are absolutely INSANE. Beer cost $13 regardless of whether it's a domestic or a local craft brew. A bottle of water is $5 and the tap water tastes oily/ toxic. Eat/drink before you go. If you a baller expect to pay about $50+ per person for food and beverages. The center is extremely clean and the staff professional and seemed organized.
Food was good for a reasonable price! We were at the highest level but we were still had a good view of the game!!
I love this Arena. I've come here for many concerts, never games. This place is well put, very organized and the security here are real cool (Not like at Staples center) I would for sure come here to see a game!
Nice and new venue. the only suggestion would be to add a smoking section for the unfortunate people that still smoke.
Amazing experience. Highly recommend watching a show less game in the golden one Center.
Great facility, lots of food options, only down side is that it's expensive.
What can I say? This place is amazing. My family and I always have a blast at the Sacramento Kings games. Always a fun atmosphere and easy access to restrooms. Seat are comfortable in the lower bowl.
Awesome stadium, best place to enjoy the Sacramento Kings
Beautiful Arena the right place for Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias concert...
Enjoyed seeing Janet Jackson, Lionel Richie and The Sacramento Kings there!
The building is a beautiful place for a sports event or a concert! The acts coming to town are pretty solid and the Kings are finally relevant in the NBA thanks to Vlade! One thing is negative though and it is how close the seat rows are. As a tall guy, my knees are digging into the seat in front of me like crazy. This isn't on the Golden 1 Center but man sitting at the end so I have more leg room isn't much of a fix. Sacramento must have the worlds most hydrated population in the world because every other minute I am up to let someone out of the row. Up down up down I just have to take communion and it would be like a Catholic mass. GO KINGS!!!
Love watching basketball their had a great time and there is a nice view up top of the basketball game
This is a nice venue. Plenty of entrances to make the lines a bit quicker then other places I have been. There are alot of vending spots inside to get food and beverage.
The arena is litterally right in the middle of downtown Old Sacramento so your only parking option are to pay for a parking structure but, that is ok because you know your property will be safe and there upon your return.
Stevie Nicks and the Pretenders were great. The facility is really nice. But security was disorganized and inconsistent for those of us with floor seats. Constant people in the isles that did not have tickets to be in that section. Many were asked to back up but never actually left the area they would just comeback when a favorite song was played.
The seats behind us on the floor were constantly blocked. We were section 2 on the floor.
Now for the fellow concert goers. Cell phones used to video tape the performances was rampant. Chrissy Hynde asked that they please don't record as it messes with the artists performance. No one cared. Manners are definitely lacking. Our seats were so close but the people in front of us were videoing the concert with there phones above their heads so pretty much that was the whole night, a view thru their phone. (sigh).
We went to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra. I was surprised how quickly the line moved to go through security check and to scan tickets. The line was really long, but we only spent there 10-15 min max.
I like the layout of the arena. there are so many entrances and it makes finding your seat really quick. This place has multiple bathrooms - you don't have to wait in line.
The seats are located in such a way that you never have too look over someone's head in front of you. Almost anywhere you sit in section 100 would be good (the lower the better, and the more centered the better). I don't know about other sections yet, but 100 seems the best so far.
Really nice stadium compared to sleep training. Awesome.
Great venue, the people are very helpful, and the food is pretty good too.
Nice upgrade from Arco Arena. Open veiws not bad seating even up at the top, had a good time minus the Kings loss...
Upper level seating is the worst, seats are tiny, no leg room, no where to put your drink, no room for a bag/purse, no room for anything really. I was constantly bumping into my neighbors. Also it is sooooooo steep up there, it's scary. So the place was made for people who can or want to spend a lot of money on tickets they didn't think/care about the budget friendly seats.
Haven't been inside but outside looked nice during christmas when there was a christmas tree next to Starbucks and ice rink across the street.
Absolutely had a blast thanks for our experience of a lifetime.#TOP
Place is great. The food, beer and wine selection is on point, but a bit expensive as you might expect. The seating was awesome, with a ton of options when you are out of your seat and wondering around.
Saw the Foo Fighters here. LOUD! Lots of vaping. Easy parking at a lot that was a couple blocks away. Great location.
Good venue. Just hard to find handicapped parking. We usually end up parking quite a ways away. Need more wheelchair van parking in the area.
I love the G1C the paragarys pizza on plaza level was grrrrrr8t look for the chef wit the headband big black cute guy
Great addition to downtown Sac, truly a world class arena. So long Arco!
Beautiful new venue. Location is fantastic. Kept thinking somebody finley got smart giving people better access not only to the convention center but also local restaurants, galleries, etc. Loved when concert was over and bicycle rickshaws lined up the give people rides to parking, etc. What an excellent way to revive old Sacramento.
Pretty amazing arena. You walk in the front and it's like you're standing right on the court. The top deck looked like it might as well have been in the stratosphere, can't imagine what the view is like from up there.
Great venues ,plenty of seats , friendly staff, handicapped accessibility plenty of parking available.
First class amenities, staff, food and drink options. Getting in & out of downtown was (surprisingly) easy thanks to prepaid parking links and other info provided by G1 prior to event. We are impressed.
An absolute state of the art building! Have loved all my experiences there:)
Nice place to watch a game but 5 bucks for licorice darn
GREAT VENUE FOR ANY EVENT! Wonderful design with the latest technology!!
State of the art in every way. Wonderful facility.
Janet Jackson was great but it was hard to see her since we had floor seating and the people in front of us were taller than us and stood thru the whole concert. Cramped seating. The people behind us kept spilling their drinks on me
Not to shabby Sacramento!! Parking can be a beast and at least $20.
It is the best place in Sacramento CA to go to see anything
