The Golden 1 Center is home of the Sacramento Kings NBA Basketball Team. It's a brand new arena that open in October 2016. It a very beautiful place I just happen to go to the Kings seasonal tickets sale event and was pleasently suprised by the length of work they put into this place to make it comfortable for just about any event. It's also a place where you can see all sorts of entertainments. You owe it to yourself to check this place out. It's located in the center of downtown and easy access to public transportation "eg... RTTransit Lightrail and Bus Services, Uber, Lyft and during games and certain events there will be special transportation arraingments for those going to the games. Next event that's held there go and see how nice this place is. It a place that will make you proud to be from Sacramento. You owe it to yourself to go see the Golden 1 Center.

Very impressive. We went to a Sacramento Kings game and really had a great time. This stadium is a big upgrade for Sacramento. There's plenty of parking nearby and Old Sacramento is within walking distance. Beautiful inside and out. A must see if you are in the area.

The arena itself is really cool vacation is great but the prices are out of control $15 for a beer makes you want to get hammered outside at Sauced before you go here cab pickup at the little tricky do you have to walk down about 5 blocks to get it overall the experience at the Golden 1 arena is a well worth it experience but be prepared to spend some money

My first visit blew my mind. I must have walked around the building three times during the game. The Golden 1 Center is like the deck of the Starship Enterprise meet entertainment. The experience was totally immersive .

Great arena! First time for me in the new location @ a Monster Jam event. Looks very nice and even if we had seats in 200 we still had an amazing view. It s a little bit tight for a monster truck event but still we had a great time. Definitely I m coming back for a diferjt

The venue is nice. However if you plan on eating here they do not allow any changes to the pre-cooked food. My wife could not get nachos without the pile of carnitas on it. We were planning on paying full price, but they refused to accommodate. Oh, and btw no milkshakes @ the cafe bernardo. Kinda funny with burgers and shakes on the sign. Eat beforehand!

I'm giving this a middle of the road because there are pros and there are cons. Pro - lots of food court options of you are wanting snacks with the show. Con - they are really overpriced...

Pro - it's freaking huge! So you can get a ticket. Con - the nosebleed seats are so high and scary due to their vertical nature, you almost feel like you need a seatbelt so you don't fall to your death while you watch the show.

Con - parking wanted $30 to park... I'm probably really old, but I seriously have never paid that much to park somewhere. Pro - security line looked ridiculous, but they actually move it along pretty efficiently.

No matter where you sit you have a good view of the stage. The only down side to this place is they only have one entrance and if you have upper deck seats or seats on the opposite side of the center. You have an extremely long walk. All the food vendors are at the entrance. So if you want food or drinks you need to get them on your way in. They have handicap seating but for the upper deck you have to use the elevator which is at the opposite end of the center and it goes between 6 floors. It's a long wait and very crowded. But the place is nice and the seats are comfortable. Staff is very helpful.

I have been to a few kings games here as well as several concerts and they try to get the people through security as quick as they can. I was at just recently at the From Ashes to New/Bad Wolves/ Breaking Benjamin/Five Finger Death Punch concert and in between bands the girls bathroom lines get crazy. A staff member approached a few of us in line and offered to show us to the upstairs bathroom where there was no wait. That shows they care about the people being able to get back to their seats or to the concession, or to the line for merchandise instead of just standing in line and waiting for the bthroom. I was also happy that they try to keep the bathrooms stocked and cleaned.

Very nice place, easy to find the correct entrance to assigned seats, super clean, only inconvenient was FOR OUR EVENT THE PARKING LOT WAS RESERVED FOR THE PEOPLE WITH PASSES , this forced us to look around for 30 minutes since TRAFFIC IS A NIGHTMARE WITH CONSTRUCTION AND LANES CLOSED, that's why I only give 3 stars, liked better the Old Arco Arena with the HUGE Parking lot

Great arena. There's plenty of nearby parking and when you first walk through the doors you can see into the arena which is really cool. I enjoyed seeing a King's game there. I'd definitely like to return some time to check out the nearby shopping and restaurants.

I can appreciate the security in front before shows, though sometimes they have checked my bag and other times they hardly touch it and let me pass. the food/drinks are overpriced but that's typical for an arena like this one. the accoustics are fantastic here, whether you're in the front or back of the arena. it gets pretty packed inside so if you're introverted and easily overwhelmed like myself, it can be a difficult time getting through and out but otherwise it's a well put together establishment.

A couple weeks back I was able to tour Sacramento's new Golden One Arena! The arena was slightly larger than the Sacramento Kings old home, being Sleep Train Arena, but it will always be truly remembered as Arco Arena! But the Golden One Arena is big, very modern, very well designed and will be a city icon for many years to come!

Beautiful facility, great concert and sporting events venue. In the heart of Sacramento, this location is fantastic for entertainment with plenty of food and drink options close by. The food within isn t your typically greasy fare, but rather more farm-to-fork style food.

The seating is so small... If u are tall you will hate it. If u hv a fear of heights, the upper part is not for you. Bathroom we used had 6 stalls, one out of order, one disgusting. No cup holders. Speakers in the way of the large screen. But, staff was nice.
