The Disney on Ice show was beautiful! Great venue with easy access to parking across the street. I would recommend getting a parking pass prior to the event. The lines all moved really quickly. The chairs, stairs, and bathrooms were really clean. The seats at the very top of the stadium are VERY steap, and may be an issue for some.

Gentrification at its very finest! Beautiful building, all kinds of great (overpriced), locally sourced food options. Kings games are cool even when they (often) lose. Awesome arena if you can get past the politics and local social impact.

The Golden 1 Center is Sacramento's Pride & Joy.. Not only is it the New Home of The Sacramento Kings but it is also the most Green and Technologically advanced entertainment complex. The Golden 1 Center is a must see for either a game, concert, or event. Look forward to something special when visiting the new G1C.

Really nice to have the G1 so available for world-class acts. Nice job by the city planners too, easy in, easy to out. Reserve a parking place if you're driving. It's worth the extra bucks. Use light rail too, even easier.

Nice.

Just got home from Disney On Ice, I live in Sac. & this was my 1st time at the New Gldn1 center. I paid $267.95 for 5 tickets 3 grandkids & their parents. I could HARDLY fit in my seat (5' 8" 212) and the seats were so close together my knees where hitting the seat in front of me and I couldn't move my feet, it was worse for my son-in-Law he's 6' 2"

The concession's were RIDICULOUSLY over priced $6 -Pretzel & $2 for the cheese, Hotdog-$10, Bottle soda-$6, Reg. Nachos -$11, Cotton Candy-$15. Although the seat location was good on the lower flr. The seats were enough to make me not go back to any event there, period.!

We went there for the Monster Jam event. I have to say it looks like 1/2 a billion dollar stadium. From parking to seating, everything was well accommodated for. I loved the fact that there is food booths all around. Lots of options and short lines. The seating is levelled in such a way that you still have a clear view regardless how tall of a person is sitting in front of you. Exiting was no issue either. All the roads were closed for public to exit safely. I liked that. The monster jam was ok. Not too thrilling but good Sat family pastime.

Went to my first King's game at Golden 1 Center and was thoroughly impressed. The new stadium has an open floor plan and is put together very nicely. I know someone who works for the Kings so they were able to give me a behind the scenes tour before tip off. It was cool to check out the practice facilities and see the new design of the building. For the price point, I recommend going to check out a game even if you're not a Kings fan!

Saw Blake Shelton. Gorgeous facilities, new, shiny, and clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the acoustics, sounded great. Update, saw Pitbull, still awesome. Photos are from Section 120, row B.

Brand new center. When I attended a graduation it was super cold inside. Other than that it was a nice place. I can't comment about the concessions stand because they were closed. Bathrooms were clean though.

We have season tickets here for the kings and have had them for quite some time period this is a great place to come for basketball games and one of the benefits of being a season ticket member is the early access to tickets for concerts, monster trucks, and anything else I can go on inside of an arena. Highly recommended!

Go kings!

'20/1 1st time review, but attending events since opening.
-- Like other reviews state:
++ helpful staff, clean,
++ lots of good food options. Be prepared to pay the price for the food (quality food in quick order, but expensive given).
++ Long lines to get into event that do move along sluggishly, but worth the safety checks everyone passes through. However, if wait to just after tip-off or opening act, can get in quite quickly due to very short line.
++ re seating, VERY tight leg space seating (hubby at 6'4" has knees toughing seat infront of him), also steep seating giving a vertigo feeling when walking to/from seat along the row, but good views from all sections/heights.
-- Lots of public parking lots close enough at $15-$20 to park for the evening.
-- Good restaurants/selections within walking distance surrounding the arena/center (the DOCO--Downtown Commons). This allows small to big groups to meet up ahead of time for dinner/drinks--but be prepared for 30-hour plus waits the closer to event time.

Nice

Nice venue, home for the Kings! Parking can be approximately $15-$20 which is usually better than other stadiums. Prices for drinks and food at the stadium are typical. Though there are plenty of nice options around the stadium for before or after.

It's a new venue. Lines for getting were organized, but people were floating from one line to another as they approached the security gate. Once the doors opened they did not allow people to go to their assigned seats. We had to wait in the main entrance and not allowed past the first bathrooms for about 20 minutes. Once we figured out our location destination, very few if the consession stands were ready to serve. Prior to arriving we had planned to have dinner at a local restaurant near the erena. Most required reservations and being that we were from.out of town, we did not want to take our car out if the parking garage and pay another $30 because when we asked, there were no in and out privileges.

Very nice Event Center however parking is a nightmare. If you're going to an event plan well ahead to get there early and I suggest you don't park close to the center because when you want to leave it will take forever. Rather Park a few blocks away and walk after the event and you'll be able to drive right out of town.
The concessions are ridiculously expensive as well, plan ahead.
