Beautiful facility, not a bad seat in the house. Parking was just a short distance away, pricey but close. The drink prices were a little ridiculous... $14 for a mixed drink. We had an amazing time though.

Stupid and Crazy..parking is beyond and out of control...never sit in the seats that are in the 200's..NO LEG ROOM..you are a crowdwd sardine. Never buy the bottomless soda it was 11.00 for the size of a McDonald's large with a promise of bottomless sodas..went to refill and everything was closed as they close food and drink 45 minutes before event ends...food overpriced. Hotdogs are 11.00 and Nachos are 9.00 a large beer 15.00..popcorn eas 11.00 prices are way higher than Arco Arena was...be smart eat before you go..

This is our second time coming here to the Gilden 1 Center. Very disappointed that you have tgis huge screen available. And it is useless for the people who have bought tickets who are sitting up higher up. Why would you spend so much money and not turn these on? Ridiculous!!!!! I ask the employees here and they tell you the screens are only used for the Kings games. If this is truly the case I will not be back to see any concerts here again.

This place takes price gouging to a whole new level and the no cell phone use policy was rediculous. People getting escorted out of the event for checking on their kids with a text. Not coming back.

Golden 1 takes the crown as my favorite arena that I've been inside. Looking around from where I first enjoyed a concert and then a King's game, it looked like there wasn't a bad seat in the house. The acoustics were impressive for a venue this size and the lighting, vintage decor (Tower Records!), and historic photos lining the suites were fun. Don't miss the hangar windows when they're open: great feeling leaning over the walkway watching the Kings with the Sacramento breeze blowing by me. I recommend going with someone(s) special as even though I was fortunate to procure amazing seats, it was the company of those with whom I attended that made the experience a golden one.

Had an excellent experience at the Golden One Arena watching WWE SMACK DOWN LIVE. Seating was comfortable but not much door room. Bathrooms were clean. Staff were approachable and all greeted you with smiles. Police presence was a welcome pleasure to see. There was a lot of smiling face not just on the children but the adults as we were leaving for the night. You will have a great time if you go to an event at the Arena.

Great facility. Went there with my son for the Monster Jam. Nice open space, modern, clean and pretty good food options. Music on the sound system sounds really good for an arena. Good view even in the upper balcony. Parking was easy and great places to eat right outside if you don't want arena food.

We attend events there often. The arena personnel that we have interacted with are polite and helpful. Food venues are quite varied but are, I think, a bit expensive for the portion you get. A number of well known restaurants are represented here but the food served at the arena doesn't really match the restaurant experience. City parking lots serve as parking for the arena. The closer you park the higher the rate.

Went to a kings game we had nose bleed off course, the new arena doesn't have any cup holders which is a shame and it is very steep and narrow to walk especially if your handicap. Also 15 for tall beer, 12 bucks for a polish dog, so eat first.

I've been here twice now for WWE events and have had a great experience both times. Staff seems friendlier and better trained than at the Sleep Train Arena as both times the lines moved swiftly and effortless once doors opened.

Minor points off due to the entrance I went in opening right into a crowded area of concessions and restrooms. It's possible for larger scale events like Kings games or concerts they have more entrances open - but for the shows I went to I didn't notice any additional ones on that side of the building. Even still, getting us in the building was quick, just that "I'm not sure whether to buy food, merch, or use the restroom" logjam once you're inside the doors.

Absolutely love the location though. Tons of places of eat or drink within walking distance while killing time before the doors open. Also, ample parking in garages nearby (or street parking if you get lucky). I've seen a lot of complaints about the prices garages charge but I managed to buy parking in advance just a few shorts blocks from the arena and it wasn't super expensive. It's possible they do raise parking prices the day of an event though. Considering I'm in Folsom, I wasn't interested in that long of a slog on Light Rail so reserving parking in advance was a no-brainer.

The actual venue was good. The particular planning for this event was not up to a 5 star level. They had people wait in the rain, when there was adequate coverage under awnings and extended roofs. The staff on the outside was indifferent and borderline disrespectful. However, on the inside staff was courteous and respectful. Going as far as offering a towel to freshen up before the event. There are manners that some of the staff need to learn before this place could be considered exceptional.

Best arena in the world! After many games at Arco Arena/Sleep Train/etc I was blown away when I went to my first game at Golden1. I was trying to manage my expectations because I thought there was no way it would live up to the hype, but they pulled it off.

It was great team but now... just questionable

Dang.

Dang.

I really liked seeing a concert here. Easy access to bathrooms, snacks, drinks, and you're happy.

Beautiful well kept area outside the Golden 1 Center.

On the way out of the concert we hear a drum beat. Curiously, we get closer to the sound.

Did not like the small uncomfortable seating arrangement. Did not like the conjusted location and the parking. Won't be going back anytime soon. The Arco Arena might not be as modern but much better.

Had an awesome time here for the James Taylor concert. We were in the VIP floor area and it was such a great experience! Unforgettable!
We had to pay $16 for a Sprite because we got it from the VIP lounge. Lol
This is a great venue for a concert. I highly recommend it!

What short person designed a basketball arena with rows too close together for basketball players to sit in? On the 100 level and the upper level the seats are too close together! My knees are jammed against the front seat and trapped by the cup holders. Talk about pain and suffering! I would never come here again!

Great venue all around, my only issue is with the seating arrangement. If you sit anywhere besides the corner seats. It's always bothersome to leave your seat. There isn't enough room and when someone wants to get out everyone has the move or get out of the way...
