Being new to the experience of the UU Congregation of Phoenix for a few months now, I have felt welcome always by the genuinely friendly people and ministerial staff. The intelligently prepared services, each one surprisingly different in approach, are a draw and fulfilling of the mind and spirit. The music director thoughtfully prepares each service, bringing out the many talents within the volunteer musicians and singers. The musical presentations have been outstanding, each one reaching out and touching a note within each in the congregation. Do come and experience tradition and something new and unique each time.

This is a really friendly congregation. It also has excellent children's programs.

This congregation is very active as is evidenced by cars in the parking lot everyday from about 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. . There's something for everyone.

Bring your family, come with a friend, or just get yourself there. There is a place for everyone at UUCP.

I had an unfortunate experience today. I wanted to try going to a church with my wife that didn t have have fundamental Christian judgement that I feel is frankly a turn off. I am not really a Christian but my wife wants us to go somewhere to celebrate god which I am all about. I went to the sermon and found it to be extremely radical in the other direction. Booths with sign ups for activist movements, upcoming lectures on how to take down white male oppression etc. This isn t really about love to me but about furthering a different agenda. The minister even spoke about getting arrested for trying to prevent a deportation AND how he was instrumental in blocking Shae Blvd to prevent citizens from going to a trump rally. I mean really? I am not against liberal beliefs but I think it s completely ridiculous that they were talking about it as a promotion to their congregation.
