I was extremely impressed with this new stadium during my visit to watch the Kings and the Celtics play! The way they had it set up was easy to find your seat and they have it at such an angle where you feel like you are a lot closer to the court that you really are hence making the viewing much more pleasurable! Food was great but as always overpriced

I was so looking forward to see Faith hill/Tim McGraw
we bought ticket on floor row L seats 9 &10. because of the lack of giant screens and thee drunken couple in front who groping each other, I saw zero percent of concert. I am 5 ft tall and I was not allowed to stand in isle, I finally just sat. down and listened. I have never been. so unhappy about going to a concert or paid as much to sit. I would have appreciated some giant screen on each side of stage. I will never go to a concert t golden one again. I have attended 100 of concert because I am also a musician whole to hear ad see those groups that have inspired me for the last 50 years. I wish I had just turn ed on the 2017 concert documentary and. saved my money!!!!!!

The arena is lively and the line to get in the wasn't bad. There are lots of restaurants inside and kiosk to play games and earn freebies. We parked our car in a garage on 10 and I street and walked to the arena (8-10min walk) doing this allowed us to avoid most of the traffic. The seats we seat and aisle we were in was very narrow (upper floor). There's no cup holder so you had to either hold everything or place it on the ground.

I like that the venue is a little smaller than Arco. Very confusing that they close streets off after a show and make it difficult to meet your ride. Parking is ridiculous and expensive. Lots of staff who are friendly and helpful. You cannot bring any size water in because then how will they charge you $5 for a bottle? Seating style is a bit odd, but comfortable. We were in the middle level and could see fine. Not counting the box mezzanine seats, there is floor, middle level and upper level (nosebleeds) seating. We were they to see TSO and it was an amazing show!

All the amenities are up to date modern or state-of-the-art. Not the biggest arena but that makes it so that everyone has at least a descent seat in the arena. It also has great architecture.

Not nearly enough restrooms and the ones around are not big enough to handle more than 5 people. My wife had to wait in line for 15 minutes and when she got inside the restroom there we only 3 stalls. Also the accustics are terrible for concerts all you hear is the music and very little of the vocals.

Loved the arena!! Make sure you have money though because drinks aren't cheap!! Went for the comedy show and the staff is no nonsense but veru friendly! Cannot wait to go to another event.

Great new arena. Food vendors are still working on how to handle crowds but it's good to see things coming together. Came in for college basketball. Will update after attending a concert, the old venue had horrible echo so hopefully this one is better.

The isles are narrow and it makes it's difficult to let let people in and out. Many other venues have much better seating arrangements. The seats are small and uncomfortable. This is a strictly non smoking venue that serves alcohol and doesn't allow re-entery. So you pay for a ticket and you are in fact a smoker you are stuck in the venue for hours without any way to smoke unless you want to leave the event early. As far as a concert venue is concerned it's horrible. The sound quality is absolutely disgusting. It's a huge concrete dome. The sound bounces around off all sides at once and creates a wash of sound that at most points is extremely unpleasant and mix of echos. Possibly the worst designed new venue of all time. If you have a chance to see your favorite band anyplace but here you should do it.

Nice arena, lots of food courts and easy to walk around. The old arena (sleep train) corridor was too narrow making it difficult to exit the building after a game. To watch an event, (concert or basketball game) make sure to sit in the lower level. (100 section and not the 200 section). The lower section seats have more room and a cup holder while the upper level (200) have a higher incline, limited leg room, no cup holders and because there's two additional rows of box seats below the upper level, the upper level puts you much further from the action.

Well the nose bleed seats were really high. I think that they could have used the giant screens to insure that everyone could see. I was dissatisfied with the overall lack luster. You hear about the state of the art technology there I didn't see any of that.

This place is cram packed with maximum seating in mind and not public safety, the stairs are super steep and I was genuinely scared of falling over multiple rows of people just getting to my seat. There is no leg room and the seats are tiny. I'd rather fly coach on an airplane than go here again.

Pretty nice arena for what we paid for it. Beers are $12-$13 each, no matter which place you go. Seating isn't that bad, so a seat in the top level won't be too bad of a seat. They will send the cheerleaders up there to throw out shirts and free stuff as well.

The seats were great but getting into the venue was ridiculous. Very little crowd control, people coming from different parking places were jumping ahead of the line and it was not clear where the line started. So other concert goers were screaming at each other about the line. No staff until you go to the steps and no direction until you were at the first check ins. Security took forEVER to get through. We were there an hour before doors opened to the show and we missed the first song which happened to be my favorite song. Kinda ruined the night for me for a band I may never have the chance to see again.

Get your security and crowd control together Golden 1

The arena is acknowledged nationally as one of the nicest, most high tech in the country. The video screen/scoreboard has amazing clarity. Yes the food and drinks are expensive, but that is to be expected of any brand new, state of the art venue. The Golden1 Center is something of which all of Sacramento can be proud.
